### "JP is effective and helpful"

We have been able to improve our documentation and estimating process, from my perspective, because of JP. I'm most familiar with the desktop version, not the app version.

Pros

Great to have things visible and easy to access to anyone/anywhere. Easy to sort through the job files and information.

Cons

Reporting is not as user friendly or helpful as I need. Flags and notes are not as prevalent as I would like. I wish some features were simpler.

Pros

Easy to use. Lots of options. I love using the new program that we decided to go with. The customer support is great and our questions never go unanswered.

Cons

Lack of being compatible to transfer from old CRM. We have over 50 years of customer that have been able to be transferred to new crm but this this one we will have to archive all customers and start fresh with the new system.

Job progress has been great. No matter who answers the phone we can pull the client up fast and help serve their needs.

Pros

Ease of use when pulling up client files.

Cons

Editing proposals on the phone is harder than the desktop.

Pros

We use this primarily as a sales tool. It makes tracking projects a breeze and really helped us with staying on track with a large quantity of customers weekly. It helps with communication within are company as well as with the customer and allows us to meet customers expectations.

Cons

I think there could be better help with training on how to operate new features. Typically we learn about this with trial and error.

Cons

The calendar for looking at what jobs are going on needs a lot of work to speed things up. Our excel calendar works much faster thr JP.

### "Ups and Downs"

Pros

This software has a lot of promise. There are a lot of features about it that we really like and it has helped us be able to organize all the information for the jobs we do in one location instead of jumping back and forth with different tools. It has a lot of features and a lot of potential and I it has made communication with clients easier.

Cons

The amount of customer service is sometimes lacking. There are a lot of emails and phone calls that go unanswered. We were also promised a lot of opportunities to customize in the beginning, even a one on one phone call with the company owner where we were able to share with him our needs and what could make the software better, but after months of asking where those updates are we are constantly told that there are more important things that need to be developed. The software seems to go halfway in a lot of aspects, but we it is not very intuitive and there are a lot of reporting abilities that are not available. The production calendar is a huge pain to work with and the email section is not up to par.

Pros

This software will help you organs and grow your business. It has many capabilities to help run a construction company.

Cons

We love all aspects of Job Progress. We have not found anything we didn’t like.

Pros

The breadth of functionality was what drew us initially. Particularly the webpage to provide to customers with updates however we have not used that to its fullest extent.

Cons

The program is slow to operate at times and while it does what we want out of the system, it is a little cumbersome to get everything entered in a timely fashion

Pros

The ease of use with reports and the search function. The Job Stage bubbles are quite handy.

Cons

There needs to be more options in the filters for making Master List Reports. Also when printing a report, it doesn't print all the information.

We are now able to write estimates in the field that is visible to office and we are more effieient in our service since the office staff , installers, and sales staff are working off the same platform. It has solved communication hiccups now that everyone is accountable to the progress of the job. Also it has created harmony and easy flow within the company being that we are able to commuicate less on the phone and more in the customer notes to leave a communication trail within the customer file.

Pros

We like the ease of use and that my office and sales staff was easy to start off using. The next best thing about Job Progress is it is completely customizable to suit each ompany. We were set up and runing instantly. The learning curve was less than a week.

Cons

I honestly have to say there is nothing I dont like about it.

Pros

The product is fairly easy to use. The app needs work along with the accounting functions and recording bad debt properly.

Cons

when adding stages in the workflow it would be good to update this for all jobs. right now it only allows you to use the updated workflow for future added jobs.

Cons

What I like least about this software is that sometimes it doesn't stay flipped/ rotated if my iPad is flipped / rotated onto its side ..

Dan, Appreciated! By the way, we are aware of the rotating issue on some forms and screens and are addressing ... we see more and more of our contractor subscribers using the mobile keyboards alongside their tablet and we will make it so that when you rotate the screen to (for example) plug into your mobile keyboard ... the form / JP screen will rotate with it accordingly. Got it.

Pros

Easy to use, I love how it helps me keep up with items that need to be done for the day. I like how I'm able to sort customers by what step they're at in the sales process.

Cons

Working on templates that are uploaded into JP. For example, changing fonts, adding line items. It would be great if the templates had a function almost like Microsoft Word. I would also like it if scheduled daily tasks that werent "completed" for the day didn't get removed the next day. Maybe they were moved to a "past due" section or something like that, so their not forgotten.

The program is adequate. The customer service is not outstanding. Some of the interoffice features are not dynamic enough. The financial features are adequate. I like the reporting features.

Pros

The tracking and scheduling of customers is very nice. It has nice reporting options. Financial features are well built.

Cons

Doesn't give enough information to Project Managers regarding job lead in original notification. The daily feed of activities does not give enough information, just shows that a job has been updated, but not how. Doesn't notify PM when Follow-up notes are added to their job. Emails only come to JP, and not to our email box. Building and editing forms is cumbersome. Customer service is not always responsive.

Most functions available from app, stores photos, App mirrors the online version, home page is alright

Cons

No Sales dashboard, No Commission tracker/calculator, no P/L report, Production calendar not available in app, Lead source reports for ROI on ad/marketing, Referral tracking for referral program, Cannot make a call from JP calendar (click on \`call and nothing happens), Calendar deletes appointments after their start date/time - should still be visible Proposal template is not very user friendly and you cannot copy and paste into it very well, Invoicing feature, Why when you mark a client as \`job lost does it disappear from JP, When viewing the sales report page, we need to be able to click on the lead source and see all jobs won and lost in a list view , Cannot upload videos Some of the above may have been remedied with Admin, but not rolled out to the users.

We are General Contractors. We discovered once we had signed up and put many hours of work into the program that JP is still developing GC capabilities. We are working through these limitations, but I am disappointed that it is not the functioning software that we were sold on. Our accountant has even been working with our new rep and supplying info and documentation for how JP can be more streamlined for a GC and with using QB online. The platform is partially ready for us, therefore we are continuing our subscription. I look forward to a fully functional platform for GC's in the very near future.

Pros

I like its mobility and direct access for clients to job information

Cons

It is still in the developmental phase of being able to help our business

Reason for choosing Leap

We were told it could produce the reporting capabilities for a job similar to that of QB desktop. These reports were lost when transferring to QB online. Therefore we needed another source of tracking expenses. Also, the client portal was a big feature for us.

The software is easy to use. I like that the service dept is always there to help when I call. The team is always upgrading and trying to make the system better. Love the software and all its players

Cons

Reports are still behind competition. I think that Acculynx has a Buch better ruction of reporting and is much easier to use.

We have been able to create a workflow that allows us to interact with more customers while keeping track of accepted proposals and project closeouts.

Pros

We were able to streamline our entire process from creating a job to building an estimate to scheduling and finally to invoicing. We are now able to automate and scale much easier.

We are unable to export reports in Excel.
