The software has been very stable and reliable for a long period now, so I spend very little time thinking about it (which is a good thing). Pros The software is easy to use, easy to configure and easy to scale. Integration with our business process was a breeze, thanks to the full support of the DocShifter team. Cons There are no real cons about Docshifter. Reason for choosing DocShifter Ease of configurtion through the DocShifter Console, modern api (with documentation) and scalability. Also, since I am a techie myself, I prefer the direct contact with the creators instead of a sales team. Review Source CB Chris B. From the moment we landed on the site we spoke to a sales representative who put us in touch with the \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] who talked us through the product and after the first meeting and demonstration we secured our agreement for a global license. We have been exceptionally happy with the level of service and support at all levels (from Sales to Implementation through to Support). Pros \- Lightning fast implementation - up and running within 24 hours after on boarding - Easy to use/configure - Personalized customer service/support from sales team to implementation - Extremely fast and efficient conversion - with over 50,000 document conversions a week, DocShifter doesn't break a sweat - Drastically higher document conversion success rate than previous products we tried - Minimal maintenance/support required saving us over $13,000/year in payroll/administration - No native software required for conversions which saves on licensing fee's - Flexible and intuitive workflows - Produces a raft of fully compliant file formats Cons Honestly DocShifter does everything we want it to do - we haven't been able to fault it and we are constantly expanding our use for it. Goes further then our current needs and from my point of view quite unique in the industry. Quick adaption due to user-friendly workflow creation functionalities. Pros Possibility to create workflows in a user-friendly (non-IT) way. Possibilities for seamlessly integrations into existing solutions. Cons Nothing in particular. July 16, 2020 5.0 The experience with Docshifter has been pleasant and I recommend the product highly for pharmaceutical organization. Pros We are using it in conjunction with Documentum software. It is pretty compatible. Best part is its performance. The Linux instance of the product is validated/installed in production. The rendition performance that is observed so far is more than 4000document per hour (on 1 single instance). The output provided is compliant to health authorities and is configurable for different countries. The services are also extended to Docshifter team, which has helped us crack sever usecases those we had been struggling from the previous software. Cons The software doesn't manage Fonts for Linux setup which incur an additional efforts to procure the fonts that we need for rendering the documents. And support is very prompt and helpful. Pros Graphic interface to configure file transformation flow is very useful and rare find within other similar products. The ability to assign different workflows for different document types (based on metadata from our EDMS) is very helpful. This tool has dramatically cut down on the number of manual checks / corrections needed on each document. Cons There is nothing really that is an issue for us with this software. I know they are planning to release new features and additional modules to automate additional checks and fixes in the near future. Review Source IV Istvan V.
