What is zHealth?

The software comes with online appointment scheduling and unlimited reminders. The speech recognition functionality assists chiropractors with SOAP note dictation and real-time speech-to-text conversion. With its patient portal feature, patients can complete the intake forms and check-in on the front desk kiosk. The software includes a built-in tool that sends outcome assessment forms to patients and automatically scores the assessments, allowing you to monitor their progress. zHealth’s billing module allows billers to create invoices, submit insurance claims and generate reports. The integrated payment processing solution - zHealth Pay - allows you to collect payments online, in the office, save cards on file, and automatically collect patient balances via an automated text message. The solution is available on a monthly subscription and support is provided via email and phone.

Pros

  • With a great EMR system and easy of scheduling I appreciate zHealth as well as the cost for a solo doctor. I like that the system has the ability to expand without crazy increase in costs.

  • I am pleased with the speed of EHR and time saving applications. The support team is responsive and helpful.

  • IMO it is a great investment in your office, and if you like what you see, it will only be getting better and better.

  • Our rep was super helpful in transitioning me into this software and answering any questions I had. The dictation software is great for anyone who is busy.

Cons

  • Occasionally it runs slow but not enough to cause a problem.

  • The service is terrible. Should have had a clue when you call there advertised number you have to leave a message.

  • You literally cannot do any customizing yourself or you have to pay.

  • Patient subjective never carries over making patients frustrated. Dates for onset date and pointers reset frequently even when you chose to import previous.

"5 Stars!!!!"

Overall: The support staff and his team are extremely helpful and ALWAYS answers questions immediately and helps with data and info. He helps me run reports when I need them and also advises when updates are being done tot he system regularly. Zhealth is a software that is up to date and the team is continuously making strides to make the program even more efficient.

Pros: Ease of use with the patient tabs and info, etc. can add in. It’s whenever necessary easily. Patient info is easily accessible.

Cons: Sometimes the information doesn’t get saved. But it could be our lack of being computer savvy.

"zHealth within a Multi-disciplinary Chiropractic Office"

Overall: Our check in/check out process + appointment booking is fast and efficient. I've been most impressed by the customer service we have received from the zHealth team!

Pros: Integrating zHealth into our Sports Chiropractic facility was a breeze! We had a few demo calls with zHealth prior to implementation and we were impressed by the layout, online booking capabilities and billing functions. Since switching to zHealth, they have released their POS system and consistently update their software. Billing through zHealth is easy and straightforward, it has saved our billing department a lot of time and energy. We enjoy the fact that patients/clients can book with multiple providers in the office and can either do so with our front desk or online. zHealth also offers automatic appointment reminders, virtual intake forms and patient communication options.

Cons: There are a few features that our office would love to see... in depth CRM (client relations management) data and patient reporting + additional customizable options for SOAP notes.

Alternatives Considered: Mindbody
Reasons for Choosing zHealth: Mindbody was more gym/fitness based and didn't offer billing, EHR
Switched From: ChiroTouch
Reasons for Switching to zHealth: We moved from a 1 room facility with 2 computer stations to a 5+ room office with 8+ computer stations and needed flexibility with a web-based system. At the time, ChiroTouch was outdated.

"Good for cash and new offices"

Overall: overall not bad. id prefer to customize notes myself. buildout by them took to long.

Pros: scheduling ease and simple user face searching patients

Cons: charting difficult, there is no macros allowed

"Valued Input"

Overall: I've used other EHR systems throughout my career in medical and dental billing and zHealth is by far the most versatile and user friendly!!

Pros: I enjoy the fact that we are able to pass on input to the software engineers and updates happen based on our feedback, you can tell that they really value the customers input.

Cons: I wish there was more reporting options, but I have not reported this yet as I've found work-arounds.

Alternatives Considered: ChiroFusion and AdvancedMD EHR
Reasons for Choosing zHealth: Usability, Functionality and Price-point.
Switched From: ChiroTouch
Reasons for Switching to zHealth: When we opened our new clinic we new we had to get away from ChiroTouch. It is only good for Chiropractors, it is horrible for Physical Therapist, Massage Therapist or anyone working Front Desk, Billing or Admin.

"Love Z health"

Overall: Love it. Love the staff and training. Love the customization. There is no software that will fit you 100%. This is close with the customization options.

Pros: Full customization for SOAP and exams. Online platform. Integrates with other services.

Cons: Can improve with added reports, invoices and office flow options

Reasons for Switching to zHealth: All previous products were very good products but zhealth is online, no servers, no updates on our side, no back ups.
