### "Vinny Chan - BrowserStack Review"

September 22, 2025

Pros

It is helpful for determining whether the cause of an issue is due to a user using an older browser version.

Cons

I don't use BrowserStack for anything else other than checking if an issue is arises because a user is using an older browser version. This might be due to the fact that feature discoverability in BrowserStack could be improved.

Pros

Large matrix of operating systems and browsers (all different versions, too) that can be used manually or automated for testing and regression testing.

### "Robust cross-browser testing software"

August 28, 2024

5.0

My experience with BrowserStack has been quite positive overall. It stands out for its robust cross-browser testing capabilities and the convenience of accessing real devices remotely. The platform’s interface is generally user-friendly, and it supports a wide range of browsers and operating systems, which is great for ensuring compatibility across different environments.

Pros

BrowserStack is a really handy tool for testing websites and apps across different devices and browsers. What I like most about it is its ability to provide real-time testing on actual devices rather than emulators. This can give you a much more accurate picture of how your site or app will perform in the wild. Plus, the ease of access to a wide range of devices and configurations can really streamline the development process and help catch issues early. Have you used BrowserStack yourself, or are you considering it for a project

Cons

One area where BrowserStack might have room for improvement is in the performance of its live testing feature. Sometimes, users report that the interaction can feel a bit laggy or slow, especially when dealing with high-traffic sites or complex application

### "Enhancing Client Satisfaction with Comprehensive Testing"

August 22, 2024

5.0

My overall experience with BrowserStack has been highly positive, especially as a developer focused on ensuring seamless real-time device testing. BrowserStack has been instrumental in helping us identify and resolve potential cross-device issues before they reach our clients. The platform provides access to a wide range of real devices and browsers, allowing us to thoroughly test our applications and websites across different environments. This has significantly reduced the likelihood of our clients encountering any compatibility issues, enhancing the quality and reliability of the products we deliver.

Pros

BrowserStack offers a robust and reliable platform for cross-browser testing. What I like most is the ability to test on real devices and browsers, ensuring compatibility across multiple environments. The ease of integration with various development tools and the speed at which tests can be executed are also significant advantages. Additionally, the platform's intuitive interface and extensive documentation make it user-friendly and accessible for teams of all sizes.

Cons

While BrowserStack is a powerful tool, the pricing can be a bit steep for smaller teams or startups, especially considering the limitations on concurrent sessions in some plans.

### "BrowserStack: A Developer's Best Friend"

September 19, 2024

5.0

BrowserStack has been a total game-changer for me. It's made my life as a developer so much smoother. Before, I was always stressed about how my sites looked on different devices. Now, I can check everything quickly and easily. It's reliable, user-friendly, and catches issues I might have missed. Sure, it has its moments when it's a bit slow, but that's nothing compared to how much time and headache it saves me. Overall, I'm super happy with it and would definitely recommend it to any web developer out there.

Pros

BrowserStack is awesome! It's like having a bunch of phones and computers right at your fingertips. I can test my websites on all sorts of devices without actually owning them. It's super easy to use - just pick a device and boom, you're testing. It catches those annoying bugs that only pop up on certain browsers, which is a huge time-saver. The live testing feature is really cool too. It's like magic - I can see changes in real-time across different devices. Definitely makes my job way easier!

Cons

The only thing that bugs me a bit is that sometimes it can be slow to load, especially when I'm in a rush. But honestly, it's not a big deal considering how much time it saves me overall. The pros totally outweigh this tiny hiccup.

### "Multipurpose Use"

June 13, 2024

4.0

My overall experience has been moderately satisfying catering to the role i perform, As a tester i have to test application n functionality on a broader perspective in order to be accurate with results . With wide range of emulators present becomes easy for UI and view port testing for designs which need to fit into sizes which play a major role for media based companies.

Pros

I have been using Browserstack since the time i have started working. In my tenure of work ex i have used Browserstack at a broader level , it has helped me cover multiple aspects of testing, cater to client requirement which were specific to certain devices . In absence of physical devices BS has provided with wide range of emulator to test efficiently and with accuracy. I can do define the test coverage for platforms and devices irrespective in the presence of devices.

Cons

1\. Slowness : at time the Bs becomes slow to in terms of fetching results 2. 1out of 5 times , While doing niche UI testing the accuracy level is not reliable as the behavior changes on physical devices 3. Cost effective as compared to other tools present in market

### "Effortless cross browser testing with benefits."

June 8, 2022

5.0

To sum up, BrowserStack is an amazing tool with a lot of features and possibilities. The documentation is vast, and customer support is helpful. I was using it for about a year and a half, and it significantly improved cross-browser and cross-device testing coverage with a slight increase in workload. However, all those advantages are connected with a quite high price. If a company can afford this tool - it will be a great added value. On the other hand, there are a couple of cheaper competitors on the market, so it is not necessarily the best choice. Everything depends on company needs.

Pros

First of all, BrowserStack is extremely easy to use! To start LiveApp testing it is enough just to use one small program, enter the BS website and the user is ready to go with his local tests, so there is no need to move your tests to an external server to run them. Users can select the browser and its version and all is immediately ready to be tested. Secondly, automation and parallelism are natively supported in BrowserStack, even if a framework is not supporting this kind of execution. Similar to a LiveApp mode, the user can select Browsers that need to be covered, as well as their versions and after a short configuration, tests can be executed. Reports are automatically generated after execution is completed, and they can be also fully customized depending on user needs. Documentation is extensive and contains a lot of examples and details regarding configuration, setup, and the product itself. Also, customer service is friendly and willing to help if any obstacles appear. BrowserStack has a lot of features, that are not obvious but can simplify the work. E.g. geolocation testing was important in my industry and this tool allowed me to check it effortlessly. I was surprised by the number of browsers, devices, and versions that can be selected. Users can find almost every configuration - Device + OS version + Browser version - he wants and e.g. easily reproduce specific, edge-case bug.

Cons

Unfortunately, BrowserStack is quite pricey, and not every company will be ready to pay for it. It comes with a lot of features, but it is more expensive than its main market competitors. Sometimes slowdowns and lags are noticeable - as it is an external tool, some delays must be taken into account.

The apps for testing can Integrate easily by uploading or integration with appecenter or other platforms.

Cons

A proper stable network connection is must .Otherwise will feel laggy and will not get a smoother experience. ### "Danny Finkelstein - BrowserStack Review"

September 9, 2021

4.0

Overall I've been using this product at 3 different companies for the past 8 years and I've been satisfied with my experience. Theres always going to be things that I would love to see more of (but that goes to say with any SASS product I utilize). BrowserStack looking at ways to optimize the network tunneling and latency between the VMs and the local tunnel would be even more key as I see a lot of customers looking towards alternatives sometimes like Docker Compose for running more performant tests (at least for chrome).

Pros

BrowserStack is easy to get up and going. The documentation is fairly simple to use and the community support allows me to find answers promptly. The incremental improvements to the dashboard for reviewing automated tests have been helpful.

Cons

I would have to say that BrowserStack is just not ahead of the game when it comes to beta versions of new iOS upgrades or chromedriver and sometimes in the past (although I've seen this improve) were late in providing the newest iOS version for automation.

Alternatives considered

[Sauce Labs](https://www.capterra.com/p/149089/Sauce-Labs/)

Reason for choosing BrowserStack

Sauce Labs is a more expensive product, but also at the time of comparison between BrowserStack and SauceLabs...browserstack had the better experience of testing video players in the browser which was a key part of my application under test.

### "Browserstack real devce testing results"

June 5, 2024

5.0

Overall, my experience with BrowserStack has been very positive. Access to a variety of real devices has greatly improved my testing workflow, ensuring my applications work smoothly across different platforms. The setup was straightforward, and the support team has been responsive to my questions

Pros

What I liked most about BrowserStack is the ability to test on actual devices. The wide range of devices and browsers they offer ensures that I can catch issues that might only appear on specific setups. The interface is user-friendly, making it easy to navigate and run tests. Additionally, the performance is reliable, with minimal lag even when testing on high-demand devices.

Cons

The least favorable aspect of BrowserStack for me is the cost. It can get quite expensive, especially for small teams or individual developers. Also, sometimes the devices take a bit longer to become available during peak times, which can slow down the testing process.
