### "Reliable cross-browser testing platform with a few rough edges"

May 15, 2026

5.0

Overall, it's been a practical tool that solves a real problem - testing across multiple browsers and device without maintaining a physical lab. For day-to-day testing and automation across different environments, it does the job well and saves a lot of setup time. The platform is stable most of the time, and the variety of devices and browsers is impressive. The main trade-off is the cost, which keeps adding up as your needs grow. If you treat it purely as a cross-browser and device testing tool rather than a complete QA solution, it delivers good value. We have integrated it into our regular release cycles, and it has definitely helped us catch issues earlier across different environments.

Pros

The biggest win is access to real device and browsers without setting up anything locally. I can quickly test our web app on actual iPhone, Android phones, and different browsers version whenever needed. Ease of use is solid - the dashboard is clean and getting started takes just a few minutes. For automation, integrating Selenium scripts is simple; I just update the hub URL and my existing tests run on their cloud. The debugging features like video recordings, console logs, and screenshots make it much easier to share big reports with developers. Customer support has also been responsive whenever I have raised tickets, usually getting back within a few hours.

Cons

Value for money is where it falls short. The pricing jumps quickly when you need more parallel sessions or want to add team members, which can be hard to justify for smaller teams. Test sessions sometimes feel slower than local execution, especially on mobile devices during peak hours. Test management features are basic compared to dedicated tools, so we still rely on other platforms for tracking test cases and results.

Overall, my experience has been very good. It makes cross-browser and cross-device testing quick and stress-free. It really helps me catch issues early and speed up my testing work.

Pros

I love how easy it is to test on so many real devices without setting anything up. It saves a lot of time and works smoothly.

Cons

At times the performance can slow down, especially during peak hours. A few devices take longer to start, and occasionally the screen refresh feels laggy. The pricing also feels a bit high when you need multiple users or more parallel sessions.

### "BROWSER I'm not STACK (STUCK) anymore"

September 22, 2025

5.0

My overall experience with browserstack is great. I actually recommended the platform to my fellow QAs who now uses the platform too. And I've been receiving good feedback from the community.

Pros

What I like most about browserstack is its flexibility to adapt to different industry wide testing activities. The usability of the platform is really impressive. My favorite function of the platform is its usage in terms of doing my testing without the need of actual devices. I can just select which device I want to test, and it will give me the same requirements as the actual devices could offer.

Cons

Maybe the cost, since it is a bit expensive for small companies and individuals who wants to use it for their disposal. But overall, I think for big companies who can really afford the service, it will be very useful in terms of executing different kinds of testing.

### "BrowserStack addressed our all-testing requirements well."

September 30, 2025

5.0

We choose BrowserStack as our device farm to run our Android and iOS mobile automation suites on pipelines. From the initial stage to now they gave unbelievable supports to make this goal success and when we are facing any issue their support teams assign ASAP and solve all issued that we faced.

Pros

Detailed Test Results Dashboard - For Automation Testing they provide very advanced dashboard, and it includes all test results, logs, screen recording videos and with many more details. This is well worth the money we paid. Sharable Public URL For All Test - We can get public URL for each test that we run on BrowserStack. So this test result management is very usefull and no need to manage results in another place. It is very useful for explaining issue to other teams. Their device farms have high security level and no risk at all. 24x7 Support Team and Learning Material availability - They response our support tickets within few hours and also, they have technical support teams to solve our technical gaps.

Cons

Pricing for the Parelle tests might me high for startups or small groups. But they have very flexible sales team, and we can chat and get discounts for annual plans, and you can negotiate the price.

Alternatives considered

### "Reliable cross-browser testing that just works"

May 14, 2026

5.0

Started as a quick fix for cross-browser issues and became a permanent part of our testing workflow. The platform is mature, focused, and reliable - it doesn't try to do everything, but what it does, it does well. Live for manual testing, App Live for real devices, and automate for CI runs cover almost every scenario. Pricing and few integration gaps aside, the product quality and support team are the reasons we keep renewing.

Pros

Ease of use is the biggest win - log in, pick a browser or device, and you are testing within seconds. No emulators, no setup headaches. The automation side is solid too; parallel test execution with Selenium cut our nightly build time significantly, and the video recordings plus console logs make debugging failed tests much easier. Real device testing feels authentic, not like a simulation. Customer support also surprised me - raised a Safari issue once and got a proper, helpful response within hours, not a copy-paste reply.

Cons

Value for money is the weak spot. Pricing feels steep, especially for parallel sessions, and smaller teams may struggle to justify it. Test management features are basic - if you already use TestRail or Zephyr, you will stick with those. Also, session loading sometimes takes 15-20 seconds, which adds up over a long day.

### "Reliable testing platform that fits well into a real development workflow"

May 6, 2026

4.0

Overall BrowserStack has become a regular part of my development process. Before using it I was relying on emulators and hoping things would work on real devices — that approach cost me time fixing post-release issues. Now I test before every release and the number of device related bugs reaching production has gone down significantly. For any developer serious about quality it is worth the investment.

Pros

The biggest thing for me is real device testing. As a software developer working on mobile apps, the difference between an emulator and an actual device is massive. BrowserStack gives access to real Android and iOS devices which means the bugs I find there are bugs my users would actually face. Ease of use is genuinely good — I was up and running within minutes, no complicated setup or configuration needed. The automation side works smoothly with the frameworks I already use, so plugging it into my existing workflow was straightforward. Test management is clean, session recordings and logs are detailed enough to actually debug from, and the overall interface never gets in your way. Customer support has been responsive whenever I had questions which is always appreciated.

Cons

Pricing can feel steep for individual developers or small teams. The moment you need more parallel sessions the cost jumps noticeably. Also session loading can be slow during peak hours which gets frustrating when you are in the middle of active development and just need a quick check.

### "Solid Product with Some Plan Limitations"

September 29, 2025

4.0

I consider Browserstack is a good product. I see you are working hard to improve your product. I only disagree with some of your politics regarding features+plans, but I understand it's a business.

Pros

1\. Using multiple devices at the same time. 2. Ability to test the latest OS and Device models. 3. Screen recording.

Cons

1\. iOS settings are restricted. 2. No option to select the default time zone on the devices. If work with timestamps, it's a pain to calculate times. 3. Sometimes I need to kill and open the app again if: - upgrade an app - enabling network tracking 4. SUGGESTION. Since you remove all data after the session is ended, but users may run multiple devices during the day. The login process become annoying. I would create a feature which could save login credentials and of course keep it secured, but it would be easier for users just to copy paste login and passwords instead of typing it manually. 5. SUGGESTION. Starting Android 15, you can change the data sync timeout through ADB comm and- "adb shell device\_config put activity\_manager data\_sync\_fgs\_timeout\_duration". To test properly notifications you need to wait 6 hours(default value) since Browserstack doesn't allow to make it shorter. According to Sentry, the very common crash happens when the timeout is reach during the foreground synchronization.

I also appreciate its strong integration with test management and automation tools, which has helped streamline our QA process and improve overall efficiency.

Pros

It's super easy to use and lets you test websites across tons of devices without needing to own them all. The speed and real-time accuracy are impressive.

Cons

Sometimes the virtual devices can be a bit slow to load, and a few older browsers lag or crash. Also, the pricing can feel high for smaller teams or individual users.

### "User-Friendly Platform, Yet Customer Support Needs Improvement"

March 24, 2026

4.0

Overall, my experience has been positive so far. I’m still getting familiar with the application, but the learning curve has been manageable. It would be beneficial to have more integrations with other tools and platforms, as this would further enhance usability and workflow efficiency.

Pros

The UI of BrowserStack is clean, intuitive, and easy to navigate. Most of the frequently used features—like device selection, browser choices, and test session controls—are clearly visible and well‑organized. The overall usability is smooth, and switching back and forth between devices or test sessions feels seamless. The platform offers straightforward access to essential tools such as logs, screenshots, and videos, making debugging much faster. Overall, the interface supports a very user‑friendly testing experience with minimal learning curve.

Cons

The response I received from \[sensitive content hidden\] came across as quite rude. It gave me the impression that BrowserStack may not be fully prepared to assist customers who have doubts or questions. If new customers are addressed in this manner, it raises concerns about the level of support provided to existing customers as well.

### "Seamless Testing Across Real Devices – Reliable and User-Friendly"

April 6, 2026

4.0

My overall experience with BrowserStack has been excellent. It’s modern, fast, and delivers accurate results as expected. The platform is easy to use once you get familiar with the interface, and the 24/7 customer support is a big advantage. Additionally, the step-by-step guidelines for automation testing on the website are extremely helpful.

Pros

The best part of BrowserStack is that it lets you test websites and mobile apps on real devices and browsers. Having regular access to the latest devices and browsers ensures high accuracy and confidence when the final product is ready. They offer customer support that is available 24/7. They have one of the best test management solution which gives complete visibility of the setup and maturity levels.

Cons

Live sessions can sometimes feel delayed, and the pricing increases significantly as you add more products. This makes it a challenging investment for small startups.

### "Streamlined Testing Across Devices, but Pricing Could Be Friendlier"

August 21, 2025

5.0

BrowserStack is a reliable and feature-rich solution that significantly enhances the quality assurance process. there are occasional performance lags, especially on older devices, and the pricing can be a bit steep for smaller teams. Device availability during peak hours can also be a challenge.

Pros

The most impressive aspect of BrowserStack is its ability to provide real-time access to a wide range of real devices and browsers without the need for physical infrastructure. This dramatically simplifies cross-platform testing and ensures that applications behave consistently across environments.

Cons

the pricing structure may not be ideal for smaller teams or startups—it can get expensive as you scale up with more users or parallel sessions. The BrowserStack Local setup can also be a bit tricky, particularly in complex network environments or behind corporate firewalls.

### "Great Tool for Mobile Automation Testing"

October 15, 2025

5.0

We use BrowserStack to do automated testing of our Android App in conjunction with Espresso and Android Instrumentation test framework. We have quite a complex app and a lot of automated tests around it that we run on every PR with a Jenkins integration. The overall setup has been quite helpful for us to catch any bugs on the Github PR itself and has helped greatly in increasing our app stability and stopped us from shipping critical bugs on a lot of occasions. The overall experience of setup and running BrowserStack has been quite easy for us.

Pros

I would say the ease of initial setup, Jenkins and Github Actions integrations and the ability to quickly debug different test logs in case of failures by looking at the videos for the test runs.

Cons

Once every few months, we do run into false failures due to a bad state on the device but generally it gets addressed quite quickly.

### "Strong Support for Automation and Multi-Device Testing"

April 11, 2026

5.0

Overall, my experience with BrowserStack has been steady and reliable over the years. It has made it much easier to validate builds across different browsers and real devices without extra setup effort. The automation support is useful for regression cycles, and the platform generally fits well into CI workflows. While it’s mainly a tool I use for execution and validation, it has helped improve testing coverage and reduced manual dependency across environments.

Pros

What I appreciate most is the access to a wide range of real devices and OS versions in one place, which makes it much easier to catch edge-case issues that don’t appear locally. The session recordings, logs, and debugging tools are especially useful when trying to quickly identify and fix problems. Over time, it has helped streamline testing and reduced the dependency on maintaining separate device setups. It is value for money product helping reduce the need for maintaining in-house testing infrastructure.

Cons

One thing I’ve found less ideal is that debugging complex issues can sometimes feel limited compared to a fully local setup, especially when you need deeper system-level access. Also, switching between multiple devices in a single workflow isn’t always as smooth as expected, which can slow down longer test sessions.

### "From Setup Headaches to Smooth Testing"

March 24, 2026

5.0

Overall, my experience with BrowserStack has been quite positive. In my role as a Dynamics 365 CRM Techno-Functional Consultant, it has made cross-browser testing much more convenient and less time-consuming. I can quickly validate Power Apps and customizations across different environments without worrying about setup. It’s not without a few limitations, but for day-to-day testing and client validations, it has been a reliable and practical tool that fits well into my workflow.

Pros

As a Dynamics 365 CRM Techno-Functional Consultant, I find BrowserStack really useful for testing Power Apps and customizations across different browsers without any local setup. It’s easy to use, saves time, and helps me quickly validate client-facing solutions. The automation and test management features are helpful for improving productivity, and overall it offers good value for money with reliable customer support.

Cons

One thing I have noticed is that debugging issues can sometimes feel a bit limited compared to working in a fully local setup. Also, managing test sessions or tracking history isn’t always as straightforward as it could be. It would be great if there were more flexibility and clarity in those areas, especially when working on multiple client projects.

### "Good But Fix Billing Sync Issues"

March 23, 2026

4.0

Overall, it has been good. It is a reliable service (other than the scary automated billing messaged I mentioned above).

Pros

I really like that when a failure happens, we're able to see a playback video of everything that happened up to the point of the failure. That kind of visual context makes us confident of the reproduction steps.

Cons

We have had some issues with billing. There have been automated messages that we receive which sound like we are going to have our services cutoff despite our payment being in transit. I wish that paying would be more straight forward so that we wouldn't feel like we are panicking everytime we want to renew.

### "New quality in app testing and QA"

April 2, 2026

5.0

Withe BrowerStack we have been able to save a lot of time of manual testing and QA while at the same time ensuring best possible experience on a much wider range of devices and systems. A genuinely useful product for any mid-size software development company.

Pros

I really like the AI integration in BrowserStack. The way they implemented it is genuinely useful, speeding up the process and sometimes suggesting or identifying problems that we might not have identified ourselves. I also appreciate the ease of accessing all kinds of devices and emulating not just their screen resolution but also different specificities. Additionally, being a cloud-based software, the setup was completely hassle-free.

Cons

### "Incredibly Efficient for Technical Users but Could be Intimidating for Others"

March 23, 2026

5.0

I think BrowserStack solves manual testing and helps with automation. The AI tools and Python libraries make it easier to implement scripts for testing websites, identifying issues in fonts and code, or the backend, which I find very beneficial.

Pros

I like BrowserStack for its amazing tools, especially the AI tools and automation features that make it easier for me to implement scripts for testing multiple things on the website I develop. This helps in understanding any issues with the font, code, or back end efficiently. I think the automation feature stands out the most. It's great for loading and running scripts, which saves a lot of time. Also, I appreciate that BrowserStack works well as a standalone tool, without needing additional companion software.

Cons

I think the main thing that could be improved, in my honest opinion, is the user interface. I think it needs a bit of improvement. Also, I think if BrowserStack was an app on Windows, Linux, and Mac OS, it would be better than having it on the browser. Because sometimes the browser crashes and causes errors.

### "Great product that we could not live without!"

March 29, 2026

Outside of owning a plethora of real devices, there is no other option better than using BrowserStack. As they layer on better test management and visual regression the tool gets better, although it would be better value for money if not all of these always came at an additional cost.

Pros

BrowserStack's design is intuitive and the product is easy to use. The breadth of real devices available for testing across devices provides valuable automated functional and visual regression testing that is not possible using only developer tools like chrome.

Cons

ApplePay integration on the base tier would be helpful for testing payments. I feel the process of getting network logs could be made a lot simpler.
