overall it has been a positive experience. \[sensitive content hidden\] is great at the help desk, she always is professional and helpful in a timely manner.

Pros

in general it is intuitive. In general i can maneuver around without too much dificulty. I do wish I could open my schedule from the app , as an admin...

Cons

there are several nuanced things that I don't prefer: discounts are cumbersome and not easily applied without planning. I don't like that sometimes the calendar slides up and down and some times it slides left to right to look for future dates. I don't like that when I'm booking a client before they leave my room I can't see what the rest of my day looks like so I can be efficient with my scheduling without going to that day on my calendar. I don't want to be a burden but the queue for help is not helpful categorically and I always end up saying its an emergency even though it isn't because my questions don't fit into the categories offered. I don't like that I have to choose the only provider I have each time. It should default if there is only 1 of us (1 of me).

The learning curve was hard at first. It is much easier. I like the message button to because some things I can't figure out and that the immediate availability is there when time is of the essence.

Pros

I like that everything is digital. Ease of access desktop and mobile. It allows me to make changes easily on the desktop only.

Cons

Mobile doesn't have the same features as desktop to create a schedule in another location. Before pictures and after pictures after photo's are opposite. The app doesn't allow to schedule in seperate rooms for hands free devices. The messaging would be great to have a button that asks for a live person to respond instead of jumping through hoops.

Pros

Aesthetic Record platform has been an excellent choice for my medical aesthetic practice. The learning curve is manageable with excellent resources, streamlining patient management in a HIPAAA compliant EMR. It is a great value for money. I recommend Aesthetic Record for a dependable, comprehensive system that supports secure billing and payment options, clinical excellence, and practice growth.

Cons

I would like to see the Essentials User Package be more inclusive, it seems there are many add on fees for various upgrades.

Our overall experience with Aesthetic Record has been very positive. The platform has streamlined our operations and given us the tools we need to run more efficiently. Like with any EMR, there have been occasional bugs when updates roll out, but their support team is responsive and committed to resolving issues quickly. Over the years, we’ve appreciated the consistent improvements and dedication to customer service, which makes Aesthetic Record a valuable partner for our practice.

We’ve had the pleasure of working with AR for the past seven years, and they continue to exceed our expectations. Their team sets the standard for what customer service should be—reliable, professional, and consistently outstanding.

good, not difficult to use. quick to get help. private classes for the software are available for training.

Pros

It is very quick and efficient to get to a team member to get help on the software. They are able to log in and see patient's profile or wallet.

Cons

high charges for Stripe. and some lack of flexibility on adding services and inventory, it is difficult and convoluted.

My esperience with AR is always excellent when I get to chat with \[sensitive content hidden\]. When I first set up our clinice years ago \[sensitive content hidden\] was my point of contact. We now 4 locations in AR as \[sensitive content hidden\] helped be with some questions I had and helped set up the 4th location. I kept missing the color icon :)

Pros

It fits our needs 80% of the time. That's a good %. I do like that we can set up IC's in the calendar with their own schedules of availability and treatments they provide

Cons

A few issues such as the scheduling calendar is appointment only and can not be used for just an unconfirmed request. I do look forward to learning more about LeadAR tomorow in my demo and more about the AI features you have availalbe

Meh. I can see where this attracts people. Unfortunately the level of complexity and all the additional fees for using things like other providers and card processing make the low monthly fee not even real.

Pros

its built for aesthetics. There is a website. That's really it. The software is overly complicated and beware the signup fee is not refundable and appears to cover pretty much nothing.

Cons

it is a really complicated system, not naturally intuitive for setup. I also hate that there is a $399 setup fee that covers virtually nothing besides just signing on. I think they do that because so many people leave so quick. I was under the impression that it included card processing devices. It does not.

Overall, Aesthetic Record felt more like a hurdle than a help. Frequent time-outs and app crashes slowed appointments, routine tasks required too many clicks, and exporting our own patient data carried an unexpected $1,120 fee after just two years of use. Combined with a 90-day import process and limited support, these issues convinced us the platform does not prioritize efficiency or customer control of data.

Pros

HIPPA compliance, sales report, patient markings for injectables are some of the reasons why we decided to use Aesthetic Record.

Cons

If you run a busy clinic where every minute counts, you’ll likely appreciate software that simply stays out of the way. Unfortunately, Aesthetic Record often became an obstacle rather than a helper for our team. Because the platform charges “per user,” it automatically logs each account out after brief inactivity; on our shared iPads, that meant front-office and clinical staff were re-entering passwords about twice an hour—usually in front of a waiting patient. Stability was another concern: both the iOS app and web portal crashed often enough that restarting them became part of our daily routine. Even when the system stayed online, simple tasks required a surprising number of clicks. For example, to view a patient’s consent form from the calendar you must open the appointment, jump to the Timeline tab, click “More,” choose “Documents,” then adjust date filters to reveal older files. Multiply that sequence by dozens of patients per day and the lost time adds up quickly. The larger issue surfaced when we decided to migrate to a new EMR. Aesthetic Record makes bulk data export extremely difficult and expensive. Original-resolution photos aren’t stored with standard documents, so downloading each chart manually is impractical, and the company quoted us $1,120 (!) to run an export of just two years of records. This was particularly frustrating because our data import on the way in—promised in 30 days—actually took more than 90, handled by an offshore contractor who was hard to reach and provided limited guidance. In practical terms, the platform’s design and policies create friction both while you are a customer and when you try to leave. The data technically belongs to us. We expected more ethical and professional treatment from the company upon transition. If you’re evaluating EMRs, ask Aesthetic Record (or any vendor) for written details on session timeouts, click paths for common tasks, and precise costs for full data extraction. Clarifying those points up front could save you and your staff considerable time, money, and frustration down the line.
