### "Great, full featured remote tool"

I do technical support, and training for users on a daily basis. I'm often connected to multiple computers at the same time. It pretty well always works perfectly well.

Pros

It does everything that the more expensive programs do, and it works very well. I can have as many concurrent connections open as I need to which I often do.

Cons

Honestly, trying to say the name so that people understand it is the most difficult part.

### "If you are using TeamViewer - Switch now!"

It has been good. I was searching for an alternative to TeamViewer that wasn't going to kill my one-man-company. This lets me manage the few servers I need too without having to pay a ton of cash. The file transfer works great, and the screen sharing is solid. Stays connected for DAYS.

Pros

It works way better than other screen sharing apps I have used. It just works. I also like the cost - compared to teamviewer, it is more reasonably priced and I don't have to fight bugs all the time. It works when you switch to wifi - long time teamviewer bug!

Cons

The only problem I have had (and it was short lived) was that it is easy to close the remote client accidentally. Once you realize it needs to stay running (and don't close the tray icon) - you don't have any problems. I caught this very early on.

TeamViewer wouldn't work on devices connected to wifi - it was bizarre. Never used to work like that, but the software just kept getting buggier and buggier. Also, the disconnects were horrendous. Now that i am using the same connections / computers without issue - I know it was the software.

### "Great Program"

Pros

This program allows me to stand at the back of my classroom, using my Surface Pro (it actually works better with apple products), write my notes on my tablet and they are projected on my big screen. I love it because I can wander the classroom, keep a better eye on what my students are doing while going over the notes. My classroom management has improved and the student engagement has improved. I also like the feature that I can access my school computer while at home. So if I need to work on a Power Point, I can easily do so at home.

Cons

I had to contact support multiple times to trouble shoot why the software wasn’t working with my surface pro. They cater more to Apple products. But now that I got it working, the only problem I have now is a little lag every now and then.

### "Cost-effective remote access"

We had a stand alone license and Splashtop assisted us in converting it to a team license, once we realized we needed more people to remotely access their computer - thank you.

Pros

Splashtop was installed by our IT support team ISServices. The installations were quick and easy - some were performed remotely. Splashtop allows for easy SOS support from out IT support team. For our remote workers with sensitive info, Splashtop allows you to "blank" the remote screen for better security. Multiple screen support works great.

Cons

Some of the mouse buttons do not seem to "transfer". I have a back button that does not work across Splashtop. Appears to need a solid network connection and speed for good performance. File transfer does not work with network drives. None of these are deal breakers - the value is great!

Splashtop was recommended by our IT support team. Splashtop met our budget and functionality requirements. Feature for feature and dollar for dollar, Splashtop was the best choice for us on the market.

### "Best remote option so far"

Pros

It's easy to access the multiple computers I need to. Bonus that I can be logged into more than one at once. I like the options for having different windows representing the different monitors and being able to move them and readjust size.

Cons

Unfortunately setting up remote audio was a hassle. Once I got it to work it's been seamless ever since. Second complaint about audio is that if you are working on Macs, you can't get audio through both the local and remote computer at the same time. Only 1 Mac will get the audio and it's not a quick function to toggle or switch between either. I've been told PCs support this function though :( this would be super helpful to have.

Cheaper, more attractive / simple interface, works with macs, transmits audio with macs

it has been great, whenever I need it, it never fails!

Pros

Whenever I am having any technical issue with my workspace, our IT department can seamlessly hop onto my computer and fix the issue remotely via Splashtop

Cons

Sometimes it can auto-disconnect my IT help, but they are always able to get right back in no matter what

### "Simple Setup, Easy to Use"

Programs that I only have downloaded on my CPU at work can be accessed remotely from my home! This is saving me time, money and energy.

Pros

When I had a change in circumstances and needed to transition to working from home for several months, this product was recommended to me by a colleague. It was easy to setup and super simple to use. I can now access my work computer from home!

Cons

I don't like how small it makes my screen. I have to zoom in to be able to see things well. I'm not sure if there is a workaround for this, and maybe it's because my laptop is smaller than my computer at work, so it just seems tiny when I'm using certain programs.

### "Awesome Remote Support Tool"

It has become our go to for tech staff working from home, and elsewhere. It is secure, has great features, and has allowed us to do necessary work and provide support outside the office.

Pros

Allows mas deployment throughout our district to securely remote assist our staff. It provides chat tools, screen selection for multiple screens, file transfer, and many more features.

Cons

The pricing model isn't ideal for a large environment like out, so we have had to restrict access to only a few technical staff members.

### "Real value a fair price"

I found Splashtop to be easy to use, and having the features like File-Transfer, Chat, Remote reboot, Desktop-Sharing, like their major competitor, but with up to 10 client PCs and at a significantly lower/fairer price, is a great and welcome value for me and many other small to medium, businesses!

Pros

As a sole proprietor PC Repair business owner, budget, security and diagnostic and remote desktop features are my highest priorities and Splashtop fits most of the bill.

Cons

I would rather be given a new password by my client and have to input it before I can remote-in on their PC each time. I have already had them be concerned about this. I told the client, people shoud always have a password or PIN login for Windows instead of an auto-login option for their own security. Other than that, I love Splashtop Business's features and performance.

Reason for choosing Splashtop

I have a mobile PC Repair business for small business and residential clients and I don't find a lot of call for remote desktop software; however, I do have some clients who live some distance from me and now that we are in the middle of a Stay-At-Home order due to a global pandemic, I still need to be able to provide my client's who ask for it, with remote software/Operating System support. Given that I need to support more than one client but not more than 10 remotely, Splashtop Business with all its essential features and value-pricing fits the bill perfectly!

### "Make a SPLASH with your Tech Support!"

Pros

Splashtop makes it really feel as though you are standing in front of the device, actively using it, regardless of the operating system. I was able to use terminal and command prompt/admin commands with no issues. Customizing the SOS app for our end users was a breeze and actually fun! I couldn't reccommend Splashtop enough for remote support.

Cons

It costs money and it doesn't come preinstalled on hardware when I purchase it from manufacturers! Haha.

### "Splashtop Just Works!"

The SOS Software has made on demand support with client easy. I give them the website to go to and generate an access number, they tell it to the tech and hit enter and remote directly into SOS. Fill the gap from our service contract customers and our new customers.

Pros

I have been a long time client of Splashtop close to the beginning before anyone knew of it. I like the ease of use, it just works like the other products. It lets me connect to new and one time customers easily cutting down on travel .

Cons

I have the streamer product and was a little reserved about adding SOS because of cost as I'm a one person shop. If were to have a branded connection would be cool or a link on my website with a branded page. Otherwise I have not had a problem with people finding the correct website and login in. it's been fairly easy for them.

Reason for choosing Splashtop

Being a long time client with Splashtop I have been on my first contract...so when I needed to add a user to my contract I didn't fit the new contract. The powers that be recognized me as a long term client (small) and adjusted it for my business. These days finding loyalty is rare! Having Splashtop as a business partner has been great, I would not look anywhere else for this type of product!

Would recommend and I had nothing bad to say about this company besides that they can add more features like their competitors.

Pros

I have used this software several times for remote support and was impressed on the various devices that it supports. With a few clicks you on a user's computer.

Cons

The software could be improved and I wish they had an area to add scripts to make remote support easier to do.

### "Easy Access, across multiple platforms"

Overall, I've been extremely happy with Splashtop Business Access. It is well worth the minimal fee for the time it has saved me and the convenience it has provided.

Pros

Ease of use and reliability are the two most important features of this software for me. Setup on PC was extremely straightforward, and access via both PC and iPad works exactly as advertised. Using a bluetooth keyboard and mouse with the iPad app allows you to remotely control the target machine with a keyboard and mouse as if you were sitting in front of it. An additional feature that I was not looking for but have found myself using frequently is the ability to easily transfer files between the target computer and the controlling device. With the many unique needs of access to different machines from different locations that the Covid lockdown has brought us, this software has proved priceless to me.

Cons

The only con, and it is a small one, is that I feel the "Connection Quality warning" or "Your connection is slow" warning shows up more than I think it should, especially when the speeds available to both the target and controlling devices are known to be, if not super fast, at least OK for most software. However, typically it's just a warning, and I'm still able to do whatever I'm trying to do with very little lag.

### "Efficiency"

Pros

The most interesting in this software is how that is efficient and easy to install and make all needed setups. After, of course the price compare to equivalent platform is unrivaled. With the deploy app process is very easy to install on all machine with a minimum configuration needed. The view on all machines reachable is efficient and easy to setup to give access different machines (users, groups...) Of course, there are several improvements needed but the basic functions are already impressive, efficient, and work how they are supposed to work.

Cons

Currently, no bad points, splashtop works like a charm.

I already used the personal version on the begin iOS app and see the efficiency and easy to use. The price was also a point to take in count

### "Using Splashtop during pandemic"

During the pandemic lock-down, our IT department had to continue provide technical support to students and faculty who continue having their classes online, this tool arrived on time.

Pros

Providing support to users who uses Windows based computers is straight forward. End users that never used Splashtop before did not have any problems sending us the 9-digit code in a short time. What helps is that the remote software is not heavy and the UI is easy to understand.

Cons

Sometimes I find myself using a Linux based computer and need to provide remote help, sadly I could not find a Linux version for the agent side.

### "Great Remote Support Product"

Overall, we've been satisfied. It works, it doesn't go down.

Pros

Splashtop was a replacement to us, for LogMeIn (LMI), which had gotten to be price-EXhorbitant over the years! The cost/user's desktop experience was much more manageable, and, therefore, justifiable with Splashtop, versus LMI, and a bunch of competitors...more "bang for the buck" so to speak.

Cons

The SOS costs could be lower...and, the ability to use, say, a "Zoom Meeting" type experience (say, a broadcasted support/training session) should be a standard part of the software! We've been pushing for this, since LMI and GoToMeeting both offered this very important feature!

### "Affordable Remote Support"

Pros

The ease of use for clients is great! When the customer is already frustrated with a technical issue, the last thing they want is to struggle with complicated remote support software. Quick and easy download / install allows us to connect to the customer within 1-2 minutes.

Cons

We haven't come across anything we do not like about this software. We run multiple trials, tests, and purchased the product to deploy for customer support and it always delivers.

### "Leader of the pack"

Through the various subscription options, I can be the superhero I need to be without using proximity as an excuse/crutch. With Splashtop, I can investigate and resolve most any problem using an Internet connected device. Whether I'm in the office, at home or out of reach, all I need is the Internet and I'm my company's biggest and best problem solver.

Pros

Everything...and I mean it. Splashtop is lightweight, easy to deploy, has tons of features/options, etc. All the features a small business can/will actually use and at a price-point that isn't considered abusive.

Cons

The key word being "did", I was one of the very first to try something not named LMI. At that time, Splashtop was rudimentary and lacked a tremendous amount of functionality. But that's all in the past now. I still use LMI and TeamViewer in various capacities and for different reasons (not by choice), but my go-to is (and has been for 3 years now) SPLASHTOP. For the form, feature and function, there's nothing in the pay-for space that even comes close, period.

This has been a very good product to use to provide user's support.

Pros

Very easy to use with a simple interface. When the user is ready for remote support, just a few click/tap away and an agent can rapidly see the user's screen and help them out.

Cons

Originally (or when using an older version of the App for Apple's device specifically"), the process to "broadcast" the user's iPad screen was somewhat confusing to the user. But this has been changed in newer version and nothing really to complain about.

### "Excellent User Experience!"

I'm able to work remotely with no loss of productivity and also able to provide support to other users who do not know how to solve computer issues themselves.

Pros

I was particularly impressed with the sound transfer features of the software. I selected my desired sound settings on setup of the program, rather than having to select it with each session. There was no delay or latency and the full screen function makes it appear that I am sitting at my office computer. The cost was low and the value very high, especially when compared to other similar software, some of which costs 10 times as much.

Cons

Two different software programs, a streamer and a business program, must be loaded. It would be nice to only have to load one program, but this was not that much of a hassle.

I came from using Teamviewer, i will never go back. Splashtop is honestly perfect to use.

Pros

I loved the easiness of just having a username and password to access my computer, i used to use TEAMVIEWER, and of course we needed the IP address, so some unique number, if not forget it you are out of luck ... this is so much easier and user friendly. Plus, totally inexpensive.

Cons

It was a bit difficult to maneuver at first, trying to get the screen to fit was the worse, i eventually got it and it works fine,

The company is wonderful. The tech support is quick and effective and they don't stop until they get your problem solved as well as have great follow up after the fact. The price is affordable and the downloads quick.

Pros

We love the ease of setup for both us and our customers. When a new client comes on board, we simply send them the link, and in no time we are securely connected to their device.

Cons

That there is difficulty transferring very large files such as their QB desktop back up file
