December 30, 2020 5.0 My overall experience after a few months has been great! has allowed me to work from home much more conveniently, especially during this crazy pandemic where my work time at home has increased greatly. Without the remote access, my work at home would be very limited. Pros Software is easy to install/set up, easy to learn and use, and very cost effective, especially compared to other remote access companies out there. Cons I was not a fan of having to pay for a year up front, especially not knowing if I would like the software. I went into it thinking it would be monthly payments, and that if I was not happy with it, could discontinue at any time. Thankfully I am happy, however, this was a little offsetting as I had not heard much about this company/software and was hesitant to the point I almost did not purchase. Glad I did though. Cons Installation instructions were difficult for my users they didn't clearly understand what happened where. The remotely managed computers must have the monitors on to be able to use them. I am able to get programs updated, and I can access all of the files that are stored on the local hard drives, as well as access the company NAS drive. Pros I manage a small office's computer systems, and is perfect for what I need. I am able to remotely connect to any computer within this office's network to run update. make sure backups are being performed, and monitor antivirus programs. Setting up the client software on opposite was also very easy, and the security involved is very manageable. When I log in, I quickly see an clear organized list of the computers that I can access remotely. Cons There is an extra authentication step that I found confusing. After logging in, they send you and email to authenticate. This gives my employees the ability to do work from home and not have to come into the office or take piles of work or desktop computers home with them. We've had no issues with connectivity and have really enjoyed how well this is working for us. It's a relief! Pros This software is incredibly easy to use. We use it to remote into work computers from home. It is safe and secure, and so efficient! This beats bringing work back and forth from home to the office, plus it gives us the freedom to be able to work from home without bringing the entire desk home with you. Cons This software remotes into another computer, so that means that in the office there is a computer that will be occupied by someone. I own and operate a print shop in southeastern Massachusetts and do freelance bulk mailing for two other print shops both located over an hour away. With mailings there's always upfront data work that's required often well in advance of when there's any physical work to be done. Business has allowed me to eliminate the need to travel back and forth to either place just to do the data processing that I can easily do from my shop or even at home. The best part is it's ALWAYS AVAILABLE at my convenience. Pros Ease of use. This product is as close to standing in front of the remote computer as you can possibly be without physically standing in front of it. Being able to drag and drop files from the host computer to the remote computer is probably the thing I like most but it's only one of many features the product offers.
