I onboarded splashtop into two companies one natively to replace TeamViewer and it was bundled with superops in the next. Splashtop enterprise is good. Had lots of features easy to roll out. However the tiers and features in other versions like the bundled one with splashtop are not worth using. It's better than TeamViewer but not as good as some others

Pros

It's easy to install via scripts and msi. It was priced competitively and had lots of features. It does the job if that's what you're after

Cons

It now has gone up in price. Lacks features like it's competition such as offline rejoin and background sessions. The other competitors do have a better fluid tool.

We use Splashtop for access to our building controls system and we can access it from anywhere in the world.

Pros

You get real value with splashtop business for your money, it is very reasonable for a yearly subscription and have never had a problem with billing.

Cons

Not a lot of complaints for this product, my subscription allows 3 computers on at once, they could add a couple more users. 3 users is still a good deal.

Brilliant software that allows me to remote into users machine. The software can be configured such as one click remote, set message once in machine and many more. It is also very easy to deploy on to users machines.

Pros

Splashtop is key to my work, it is the main remote control software I use. It is very responsive and has many key features such as file transfer, one click paste and ability to switch between multiple user screen. Connection is stable and very reliable.

Cons

Sometimes there maybe connection issues, and may take a few attempts to remote into users machine. Connecting to a Mac device can be tricky as the user has to enable certain permissions in order for me to gain access.

My overall experience with Splashtop has been extremely fulfilling. The tool ensures we offer remote assistance quickly so our remote employees do not face any downtime.

Pros

Splashtop has highly proactive and responsive clients support team that offers helps 24/7 so our team do not experience downtime. I like that it has a clean and intuitive interface that is very easy to navigate even for new users without any technical skills.

Cons

I have not experienced any challenges with Splashtop. It has been a seamless tool for us. NO dislikes.

My overall experience has been amazing. This has made my business grow tremendously. I can work from anywhere anytime.

Pros

This is a wonderful product to connect with my client's computers. The price is a great value for each of my clients. It is very easy to use and not much set up. The chat functions with customer service is quick.

Cons

I have been using this for almost five years and I don't have any complaints yet. I guess the only complaint I would have is that sometime it stops streaming on my client's computer and I need to call and ask them to run it.

Very good. We have come to rely on the program for all of our remote access needs. It has proven to be valuable and much better than other products we tried.

Pros

Quick and easy access for remoting into workstations. The ability to have several workstations has been instrumental in supporting employees both in office as well as offsite.

Cons

The app can be difficult to navigate sometimes. Few times I will need to use Splashtop on my phone to assist a user and it can be challenging.

### "Great tool in use daily"

We use Splashtop daily for connectivity to end user devices. Sometimes it can be a bit of a pain to get connected but we find restarting the services remotely resolves this. once connected the connection is stable and is not laggy

Pros

The speed it connects and quality of connections is great

Cons

It’s difficult to have both screens on the end device showing clearly

I enjoy being able to have the option to choose the online web or desktop application to remote into devices.

Pros

Splashtop's best feature to me would be the desktop remote access application. It is so simplified and easy to use.

Cons

I dislike that the whole web version of it could not be made into an application itself but it is not a dealbreaker.

### "Simple and clean "

Very pleasant - helps make my job a lot easier when a script doesn't cut it and when I won't be able to walk a client over the phone through a fix. Remoting in is a necessary tool for any IT provider but this remote tool specifically feels much cleaner and provides a smoother connection than others I have used - not as buggy and provides feedback when things go wrong.

Pros

Very simple to use, convenient tools that make it so I can perform remote IT effectively. The ability to swap between admin controls when things get serious and ease of management are the most valuable tools.

Cons

At the moment, the only complaint I would have is the way multiple monitors are handled. In Splashtop business I can setup a client with 3 monitors in 3 windows for easy use, but in the RMM app I have to swap between monitors one by one.

Sometimes can be troubling to use in poor network environments. But this is a rare case, and understandable why.

### "Splashtop is there when we need it. "

It's reliable, we click start session, and the session opens. Everything else is just a cherry on top!

Pros

It simply works! After trying every other RMM tool, Splashtop feels like a breath of fresh air. Its lightweight design offers stable connections.

Cons

I can't think of any at the moment. We use Splashtop via our RMM vendor, and it's been the most reliable of the three options we have available on the platform.

Overall, I appreciate splashtop and it's focus on building off of it's feature set that is somewhat different from it's competitors. I would recommend this to anyone who just needs something to connect to remote workstations.

Pros

Splashtop has some features over other competition that I greatly appreciate. Multiple monitor support, consideration for user sessions in an RDS environment, and a comprehensive toolkit make this a preferred remote support tool at my place of work.

Cons

Some connectivity lag and UI clutter makes this my secondary method of remote connection to client systems.

It is easy deploy cross platform both the SOS (One off) technology and streamer ( Unattended). The web UI is useful

Cons

If USB Redirection came with the SOS package i have it would be 100 percent. i also find the Linux option (like everything Linux) is poor and limited but it is there !!

Overall Splashtop is okay but there is room for improvement as usual. One thing that is annoying is that Splashtop looses the connecting when trying to connect to a VPN on the end users device which doesn't happen with other solutions.

It connects us to our clients devices very easily and quickly. This makes it much easier for us to help our clients out

It doesn't always connect on its first try and we might have to try and connect multiple times in a row for it to get us connected

Overall, I have loved this app so much. I could go anywhere or be anywhere with no worries because I know if something pops up, I can always easily access it remotely.

Pros

Splash top is not talked about as it should be! I love the features this app carries. It has simplifyed my busy everyday life on the go.

Cons

There have not been many bugs or issues with this software that I have experienced. I have had very few connection issues which have always been internet problems it seems like.

It was easy to set up and for what I need it for it works great. I log in to computers after hours with no proplems

sometimes getting customer set up is not easy to explain they dont unserstand simple instructions on how to start it once downloaded

Overall its been decent, had to get used to their web admin center because things are categorized in a strange way that has things buried in many menus. Splashtop is nicer for smaller organizations it feels like.

Pros

Its enduser friendly, not too complicated for a standard user. Its nice you can enable and disable accounts whenever you need to for licenses.

Cons

Not as powerful as other remote tools if looking at it from an IT perspective. Sometimes it has hiccups while remoting in and switching users.

I started using Splashtop with the Personal version and really liked it. As my responsibilities grow in the office, I upgraded to the Business version. It's a smooth transition. I have used several remote working services, and Splashtop is one of the easiest ones out there. I also love the competitive pricing for its annual rate.

Pros

Splashtop is very reliable and the interface is super user-friendly.

Cons

The thing that I like Splashtop the least is the small "Session in Progress" banner in the middle of the screen. I wish it can be minimized or be placed somewhere else so it's not obstructing the view.

### "Rare Program That Actually Does What It Claims To Do"

Splashtop is a rare program that actually does what it claims to do. After connecting to a remote I have never had an instance where it refused to let me control everything, from program installations to registry editing. I can't ask for more than that.

Pros

Splashtop is 100% reliable and never hogs system resources.

Cons

Minor thing but if there is an update pending you must install it before connecting to any of your remotes.

The overall experience with the application is quite satisfying, quite useful while I work. The software is easy to use and to enter important data safely and accurately.

Pros

Splashtop is a complete application, I can fully access customer data, obtaining as much information as possible about them, in order to assist them quickly during my shift as remote worker, anywhere I'am at.

Sometimes the application is slow or has some errors when updating information. However, I only experienced malfunction a few times.

### "Splashtop - My Favorite Unattended Remote Access Program"

The overall ease of installation and use is refreshing. The deployment package for Splashtop Streamer is easy to create and install, the UI is less cluttered because they're not trying to do too much. I wish there were a way to have the Splashtop Business app to start with Windows like the Streamer does, but honestly I can't say enough good things about Splashtop.

Pros

I switched to Splashtop from TeamViewer for unattended remote access, and I couldn't be happier. The price is hundreds of dollars cheaper per year, and the functionality and ease of use is comparable. Creating a deployment package was straightforward, and the SOS app for attended sessions is light and easy to have remote users run.

Cons

My only gripe is that there is a very slight delay in input to a remote computer compared to TeamViewer. It does not impede my work, and the price trade-off is worth the slight delay honestly.
