I love splashtop. It allows me to complete things after hours if need be for work while I am at home. Easy to connect and use.

Pros

Great way to log in to my work computer from home. I can access all my files I have on my computer. I can do anything that I would need to do at the office normally.

Cons

multiple users cannot log on to the same computer.

The software allows to connect to a client's device within seconds and provide immediate assistance, regardless of the operating system or device type. I liked the possibility of using it also with Android and iOS, very useful. I recommend it for anyone who does remote support.

Pros

With Splashtop SOS, I was able to provide remote assistance without any difficulties for the customer. No need to install with advanced configurations. This makes it easy to provide support to clients who are not tech-savvy or who may have difficulty installing software. I found it fast and performing in every use.

Cons

The cost is not high, but not cheap either. For a small or medium-sized company it becomes important, especially in the presence of multiple technician workstations.

My overall experience was great. I will be renewing when prompted to.

Pros

This was by far the easiest product I have found for remote working. Just log in and go. That simple.

Cons

The only drawback, and I don't really want to call it a drawback, but there is a little lag when you move around your remote desktop. But not a big deal, you just have to slow down a bit.

Cons

Occasionally on a bad connection, it will freeze up, but that is hardly the fault of the software.

No complaints, does what I needed. I upgraded from 2-user to 10-user with multi-monitor support, after using the product for a while. Worth it.

Pros

Similar to other products in class but better price and more flexibility.

Cons

Had never heard of it before, wasn't sure how reputable the company and product were.

I have used GoToMyPC for decades and since they were purchased, in my opinion, by LogMeIn I saw the service decrease and the cost increase. I recently switched to Splashtop for a free trail and fell in love with the service. The desktop application makes it so easy to connect to remote clients and the ease of the UI when connected is so much better than that of my prior. I wanted to share my experience that I intend to be a long term customer as long as the service remain reasonable and reliable for my use. I would definitely share my experience with all my colleagues and friends.

Pros

Desktop Application, Ease of Use, and Cost

Cons

From what I have seen at this point, I have not seen any Cons with this software service

Ease of use is great. Love it's integration with Atera

Pros

I like having the ability to connect to remote workstations via Atera or as a standalone app using Splashtop Business. It just works and I have had no issue whatsoever with it.

Cons

It would be great if there was a way to be able to see two screens at once if the user is running multiple monitors.

It came integrated with our MDM and we couldn't be happier with it!

Pros

Pricing is excellent compared to the other remote options, it is very easy to use and it gets the job done with no issue.

Cons

Currently, It works well for my company and has had no issues.

Pros

SW for use on multiple OS and at the same time I like multiple devices, not only PC but also phone, Android support and free installation on all devices. The price is more friendly than competing apps and the functionalities are the same. User friendly, much more intuitive and easy to use. Connection on demand, seamless. Providing quick help and support regardless of location.

Cons

We did not encounter any problems, some clients had problems with the initial connection/setup, but we managed to communicate.

Thus far it is good. I forget my password which creates a process. I like that I can change the views to larger on the screen. Transferring data is easy as well.

That I can access either of my computers on my IPAD or phone.

You get a great price, great software, great support team. They always give updates and new features in order to be on top of the business.

Pros

Splashtop is a stable application with great performance and a nice price. Is secure, you can transfer files, used from you cell phone and installed in almost any OS. We currently have it install on Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2012, Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7 and Ubuntu.

Cons

At this momment I don't something that dislike me of splashtop. Almost for my needs is a excellent software.

We are a closed business due to stay at home orders in California. This allowed us to access all our computer related information with almost no lag between the computers.

Pros

Product installed effortlessly. Once a few items were understood it was totally organic in that it was just like being at the office. Able to do all that was necessary from home. Our entire office staff is in the same situation and it helped greatly.

Cons

At first, it took a while to understand the icons to do things. It was still a very easy learning curve

Pros

Splashtop is extremely simple to set up and use. It's been extremely reliable so far in terms of connection speed and quality and is superb for the price.

Cons

Has some initial issues with the File Transfer tool not working but these seems to have resolved itself in the past week or so.

Being able to remote access easily is critical when the person at the other end is at their wits end. Messing about with codes and passwords compounds that. This is easier - on both sides. So much easier. Plus it works.

Pros

That it is easy to deploy. Easy to manage and it just works!

Cons

The path to deploy could be shortened by using a PIN code

Splashtop will be replacing GoToMyPC due to pricing. But it works just as well. As long as they don't jack up the price, I'm good.

Pros

Easy access to clients computers during the Covid-19 Shutdown. Had it up and running within 2 days. Very easy to use, can print remotely and affordable.

Cons

Somewhat difficult to get through to tech support during set up but this was due to the surge during the Covid-19 shutdown.

Our organization used another remote assistance tool for a few years until the cost of said tool just became too much to justify. On the recommendation of a colleague, we completed a trial of Splashtop and found that it worked very well for our organization size. If you need to support a user by connecting to their desktop, this performs the task very well. Desktop connection is quite seamless with very little to no latency issues. Connecting to a dual monitor station requires you to manually change between screens but you get used to this very quickly. Their mobile app is very convenient for the IT professional on the go. Simply place the app on your tablet and you can be supporting your users from practically anywhere. It would be nice for them to introduce a feature where you can reboot a machine from the computer list without having to log into the machine. Overall, if you are looking for a reliable and cost effective way to remotely assist your users or clients, Splashtop is a very viable solution.

How it can be downloaded and used by any user without being there to set it up and be able to remotely access in a quick and easy way.

Cons

If my client's screen size is different than mine the shared screen is really "Scrunched" and it would useful if there were more options as to how to edit screen size.

I have used this for remote access to laptops when the client couldn't use TeamViewer. and they were only supposed to use Splashtop. It's not my favourite application for remote access as some of the features are a little clunky.

Pros

The thing I like most about this software is that the security options are pretty easy to use. You can have remote access sessions without passwords.

Cons

It doesn't have any collaborative options like a shared whiteboard. There's a server option and a viewer option depending on which PC you are working with. If you want to do something like reboot the remote machine you have to go back to the server app and cannot do it while looking at the remote machine.

Pros

I pair this service with Atera RMM, it is integrated when a machine has Atera installed. lets you remote access a machine without needing to receive a temp password like TeamViewer, this can be set up that way if you would like, however. very clear picture and quick response time with very little input lag which is hard to achieve with a remote service. Splashtop does have a mobile app as well if you have that in your plan.

Cons

can't really think of anything I dislike, gets the job done and does exactly what it says it does. highly recommended if you need to perform remote maintenance often.
