It's worked well! Pros Splashtop was easy to install and get working quickly. The overall quality is high! It was easy to switch between screens on computers which had multiple screens as well. High sound quality while remoting in. Cons Both myself and another user wanted access to remote into the same computer (at different times). It was difficult to figure out how to switch the login from one person to the other without a lot of trouble. Review Source EW Erik W. June 4, 2020 5.0 Pros Easy integration, and won't take you out of the program if you Alt-Tab! We tried several trials of different software and Splashtop was by far the best and did not show much, if any, lag. Able to Dual screen with ease even when the computer you are using to access the other is not. Also able to Ctrl-Alt-Del the remote computer, can restart the remote desktop and not lose access. Can download/upload files directly Cons Not much to dislike, couple features I would have liked to try a couple features in the pro version, but still did exactly what we needed it too. Reason for choosing Splashtop Lag issues, and not able to make precise adjustments through interfaces. I have never had any connection problems or a problem of any kind with the product. Pros I purchased this product to use during the COVID)-19 stay at home. Not sure why I didn't do it sooner. It was very easy to set up and works great. I haven't had any problems using it. Cons So far, I have not had any experience that I would say was a negative experience. I have used TeamViewer for the past 12 years. For a franchisee of five locations, it is not realistic to pay the cost of TeamViewer and I actually like the features of Splashtop Business better than TeamViewer. Pros The software is easy to install, set up & customize. It is straight forward and easy to use. Cons The only thing I miss is the ability to have multiple systems open in one window with each location in a different tab instead of each location being in a different window. Pros As we shifted to working remotely during the COVID-19 Pandemic, we needed a versatile, full-function solution that could give us remote access to one computer and a NAS, both of which had to stay in the office. As a nonprofit, we also needed this solution to be reasonably priced. Splashtop checked both boxes. Installation was simple and went without a hiccough. Supporting the product has been a breeze as well. Screen viewing/controlling, printing, and file sharing all work flawlessly. Cons So far I haven't found a negative. Although learning the software took a few minutes, pop-ups over the program icons were extremely helpful. Reason for choosing Splashtop Splashtop offered all of the features that I wanted at a much more reasonable price. After using the software, I'm confident that I made the right choice. Cons Unfortunately you must plan ahead and get software installed on each device before you can connect. It is the fastest and most reliable remote access app I have ever used. Previously I refused to pay for apps which lack performance. I had no reluctance in paying for this one. Pros This software is so easy to use. I have a relatively slow broadband at home but this has not hindered a good working connection and use of my remote computer. It was easy to set up remote wake on lan. It has been a saviour during lockdown due to coronavirus. Cons The only downside has been with remote printing to macOS. My clients like that once the initial setup is done, they don't need to do anything else for me to work as needed. Pros Once it's setup, it's very easy to remotely access my client's computers. Connections are quick and stable, tools are easy to figure out and use. Cons Setting up the initial connection can be tricky, specially if you are trying to setup a custom installer package. Not easy to use and support was not very helpful. Also just installing the software did not remove everything. But I found out where to do that from others online not the Splashtop people. Pros I can't say there was anything I liked about this software. The software was not easy to use and came with a few hicupps. Cons This software I installed the trial and had issues with it from the start. I was able to connect to my remote uses very easily. Installing new devices and removing devices is very quick and easy. It also allows for file transfer and chat without making a connection and disturbing my end user. Cons The file transfer is too simple and takes too long. The only attribute file transfer uses is file name. When remoting in to device, the user windows environment disconnect while the remote user logs in. Without notifying the end user, it can make them feel like they have a problem.
