### "Great product, effecient and a good value! "

Splashtop allows us to work remotely without skipping a beat. Even running very heavy programs and several windows running, we’ve had no real issues. Very usable and effective program for a reasonable rate. Recommend to anyone looking.

Pros

Splashtop is extremely easy to use but also very easy to set-up. I purchased and had up and running for 3 users and systems in 30 minutes tops. Very reliable and user friendly. All at a reasonable rate.

Cons

I wish the file transfer were a little easier but it is still very workable.

### "Great tool for remote support"

Easy to deploy.Easy to use.You can assign individual users to give support.You can assign an end-user to have access to a particular computer if needed.Great price for what it offers.The ability to wake up computers.

Cons

The only think that is not that good, is that you need a user with admin permission in order to connect to a PC (you can't do it with a key like other products).

### "Splashtop Business- Just what the Dr. ordered"

Overall deployment and use has been super smooth. I do daily updates and system maintenance from my desk or off site if an emergency arises.

Pros

We were in need of simple remote login/management for our retail operation. Splashtop fits the bill perfectly. I especially like how fast / smooth the screen sharing is, just like being there in person.

Cons

I would like to have more information quickly displayed such as programs / processes running, without needing to launch the task manager

### "Excellent Remote Support Product At An Affordable Price"

Pros

My business provides remote support for photographers working with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Photoshop Lightroom Classic. For almost a decade, we used a competitor's product that cost far more than Splashtop SOS to help our clients on Macs and PCs. The more expensive product was harder to deploy, had no technical advantages, and cost hundreds more per year. For us, switching to Splashtop SOS has improved customer satisfaction and saved my business thousands of dollars over the past five years!

Cons

I wish that there was a way to run adjust the bandwith usage to an even lower setting when working with clients who have weak internet connections. A black and white screen display mode, or a slower screen refresh rate, might be helpful for those situations when even the "Low" bandwidth usage setting is still too taxing on their feeble connections.

### "Fabulous product -- a real time-saver"

Totally outstanding overall experience. During COVID we wrote and published two books working together through Splashtop. We continue to use it frequently creating PowerPoint presentations, articles, and books.

Pros

My partner and I write books and give presentations worldwide. Splashtop enables us to work together rather than having to drive for 40 minutes to their house (or vice versa). We have never had any kind of problem with Splashtop. We started using it as soon as COVID struck and we continue to use it. This morning we spent about three hours working together on Splashtop.

Cons

I cannot think of anything we dislike about Splashtop. I suppose if you had an audio link we would use that rather than our cellphones, but frankly, that wouldn't have been a selling point for us. It's all about our ability to work on one document in real time.

It is an invaluable tool for my small business. It's easy to use. Simple to navigate. Doesn't have tons of bells and whistles that I wouldn't use but have to pay for, so the value is wonderful for us.

Pros

Easy to use. Responsive. I can install on multiple devices without having to pay for each device. We access remotely rarely, but this allows access when there are files not on the one drive and we can move it there remotely. Also allows me to see what my business partner is seeing on their screen during meetings and to also walk through technical things he doesn't understand to work.

Cons

When I do have trouble connecting, the trouble shooting tips aren't very helpful.

It wasn't expensive to use. When I tried it, it was straight forward on what it could do for us. Once I connected all the devices that needed to be accessed, it was easy to implement. It became very apparent that I didn't need to continue to look for something better as it fit our needs well, and did it well.

### "Just OK Remote Control Product"

I'm licensed through NinjaOne. So is Teamviewer. I tend to use Splashtop more, but I see Teamviewer as a premium product.

Pros

Simple to use with ad-hoc version that is compatible with the RMM tool

Cons

Unlike Teamviewer, only supports 1 user remote access at a time to a host. That's a problem where I want to work with a client at the host computer and/or a vendor. Teamviewer allows multiple simultaneous connections. Second, I don't like that Splashtop only briefly shows a panel indicating who is connected, and third, I have to go into Splashtop Streamer, a separate app, to enable reverse printing. Finally, recently Splashtop Streamer 3.8.4 completely hosed processor and memory utilization on many computers across my client base. V3.8.5 fixed the problem, but it will take me awhile to forgive the hassles your buggy software caused me and my clients.

Very positive experience. I use it very frequently and rely on it for my business. Never needed tech support but business support has been excellent.

Pros

Splashtop Business aka Splashtop SOS does exactly what it says it will. Supported our entire community during lockdown and enabled free licenses. So easy to get users to sos.spalshtop.com with an autodownload and no install, just run it (unless you're a Mac user but thats Macs over zealous, hard to fathom security locks).

Cons

does lack the ability to get a transcript which would be useful, unless I missed it somehere in the UI.

### "Great Product, Great Value"

We needed a replacement product for remote access of our local desktops both from our satellite office as well as in the event stay at home orders went back into effect. Other products I've used in the past for this purpose have been so slow and unresponsive that even with fast internet it was painful to try to work using remote access. Splashtop is very fast and works very well. It was also available at an incredibly reasonable price for the number of users our firm needed.

Pros

Probably the most important aspect of this software is how fast and responsive it is. Programs I've used in the past have had a lag where my curser doesn't track as quickly as my mouse movements, or text is entered more slowly than I type. Splashtop feels almost like I am working on the desktop locally rather than remotely accessing it. It also has nice features for transferring files, printing locally or remotely, locking the screen and controls of the remote desktop, and a live chat feature (although I do not really use the chat feature).

Cons

It is a bit tedious to set up the program on different computers due to all of the authentications emails, it takes a little while to familiarize oneself with the admin controls, and you need to take steps to make sure that the Splashtop Streamer app is running in the background when you try to launch the remote access, which can be confusing to explain to users that are not technologically savvy.

Splashtop was a cheaper, better fit. Even the Citrix salesperson did not recommend that we try to replace ShareConnect with the Virtual Apps and Desktop program. Once I saw how fast Splashtop operated, I did not even consider looking at some of the programs we had used prior to ShareConnect.

The remote printing capability is an extremely useful feature. I can print documents from my remote device with no problem when I need to.

Pros

What I like the most is its exceptional performance and robust security. I have noticed the efficiency and responsiveness of a remote solution, and this platform does not disappoint me at all. Access to my computers from any device is smooth and fast, with no delays or interruptions. Plus, remote file transfer is fast and reliable, allowing me to send and receive documents without a hitch.

Cons

Although I can remotely access my computers from my mobile device, the experience is somewhat limited and I can't perform all tasks with the same ease as on the desktop version. This can be inconvenient for those who rely heavily on their mobile device to access their work computers.

I've never been happier to use a program that offers a solution to still being able to work if your sick or stuck somewhere.

Pros

I really like that it doesn't ever malfunction or have any types of blips.

Cons

I don't like when I try to use it on my iphone, I can barely see the screen and enlarging the screen is unusable

### "Splashtop Business is a great platform"

Pros

I use this to help users with on demand support, as well as monitor servers and computers with unattended access. It’s fast, secure, easy to use and very responsive.

Cons

I don’t really have anything I don’t like about this software. I think it’s a great tool. I do wish I could access more than one computer from more than one device without 2 licenses. Since sometimes I’m supporting multiple clients at once.

### "Work from home seamlessly"

I've been very pleased with the service provided by Splashtop, and I was pleasantly surprised by it, especially in the beginning. The function to easily print to my own remote computer and/or the server was an unexpected benefit.

Pros

It is very easy to set up and continue using daily.

Cons

This might be a me-problem, but I can't get the "type a message here" field to do anything. I would like some way to communicate with users at the site things like: "The screen is blanked and the keyboard is locked, please don't turn off the computer, I'm using it remotely"
