I find it very easy to use . I work remotely most of the time and my accounting software is installed on a desktop at our physical office. I connect using Splashtop daily to access the software on my laptop. The connection never fails!

### "A Splashtop Review."

Business Access, overall, is great for projects involving file transfer and remote support. The program really has the upper hand in terms of lower cost and ease of use when it comes to security. Splashtop uses two separate applications - a server, which is installed on the machine you want to log in to, and also a viewer, installed on machines that you want to view from. The software provides an overall productive experience in that the separate application method assists in utilizing remote access software to run other employees computers who are working remotely in terms of technical support or demonstrations.

Pros

sessions encrypted at 256-bit and includes many features that can be accessible while working remotely: speedy file transfer, and sleekly designed chat window, and community clipboards. Splashtop is also compatible with mobile devices. I like that employees can restart the remote machine in safe mode on one machine while working on or trouble-shooting an issue on another employee's computer. For your money, the basic remote access functionality is top notch.

Cons

A drawback of might be the idea that separating the viewer application and the server application may be confusing because one cannot restart the remote machine from the viewer's toolbar. You must return to the server application and choose options that direct you to a dialogue box. You then have to manually select the reboot process in safe mode.

Pros

Deployment to all devices was simple and the cost was extremely competitive with other solutions.

Cons

I would love to be able to see a preview of a screen before I attempt to connect to it, even if it were blurred beyond recognition.

Cost was a huge factor. Licensing based on technicians instead of device count is very beneficial to organizations with a large number of devices to support but few technicians.

Sos was really easy to setup and integrate in the production scenario.

Pros

Splashot Sos was simple but powerful tool for remote support activities.

Cons

Difficulty on the integration with Microsoft tools, like Active Directoty and Microsoft Teams. Furthermore there no tools available from a simple migration from different Support software.

### "Great Remote Access Software"

Overall this software has been a godsend for us making remote access easy and simple.

Pros

This software has all the functionality of other products that cost multiple times more. It hasn't tried add a bunch of other features that aren't really related to our needs.

Cons

Having to buy individual license for each user is a little awkward and I wish it could wake up the other computers in our stores.

Being able to control my devices from a distance especially when you are trying to troubleshoot a problem.

Pros

At times, I would be at home or on the road and need a file or documents from my work PC and this software makes it quite easy to access my devices over the net. it also allows me to access them via mobile device

Cons

The only issues i have is how it works when there is a poor internet connection. Tho this isn't an issue with the software but id rather it prompt me with the error notification much quicker than just lagging which would eventually result in me restarting the application multiple times

Any time I have contacted support with a question they were always fast, friendly, and helpful. I haven't needed to contact them about any major issues because it performs like it is supposed to and has never given me any trouble.

Pros

was incredibly easy to setup, and is very user friendly. It has all of the features we need and offers features we didn't think we would use but they turned out to be a great bonus to have.

Cons

When it comes to Pro/Cons, there are no cons with Splasthtop. There are a few minor features that would be nice to have, like seeing the user activity status on the main screen of the business app, and we have submitted feature requests, hopefully they will be added in an upcoming product update.

Reason for choosing Splashtop

We made the final decision to switch to based on the features/cost ratio. LogMeIn has a few different bells and whistles (that we never used) but they in no way justified the massive difference in cost.

Value, product functionality, and quick replies for help without having to spend unreasonable amounts of money to do so.

Pros

Remote control software that works well with all of the features of Teamviewer for excellent pricing that anyone can afford.

Cons

The only issues after moving from Teamviewer is when installing trying to figure out the streamer vs. just installing one .exe file that does everything.

### "Simple, affordable, and rock solid reliability"

Pros

is easy to use and set up esp with their "distribution links" to download the software on each machine in your business you want to control. The UI that lets you connect to computers you're managing is very simple and makes it easy to see info about the system like last time it was online, OS version/update version etc. It is rock solid reliability wise and I have never once seen it fail to connect. It's also much more affordable than any other remote access system out there that I've found, and supports a wide range of computers like older win 7 machines etc.

Cons

It's very hard for me to think of any cons with remote access. The only one I can think of is that the file transfer tool could be a little faster, and the UI for file transfers is kind of old school/ugly. It's a bit hard to find the right folder on both machines since it's a two-up view and you have to navigate through both machines at once. They should consider a wizard mode where you first browse for file(s) on your local machine, then browse for the folder on the remote machine where you want to transfer it to. But this is really minor and certainly we wouldn't switch because of it.

### "very fast for 4k remote access"

i have used it for several years and i also have gotoassist during the same time. goto assist i will use for a few quick and dirty things. but prefer if i am going to do multi monitor or 4k monitors.

Pros

i like how fast it is with multiple monitors at the remote site. including the ability to have separate windows for each monitor. you cant do that with gotoassist

Cons

the admin interface for assigning users and what machines they control is confusing.

I wish I knew about it earlier. They should advertise better especially to IT professionals. LogMeIn was good but they started charging way too much.

Pros

helps me in the ability to remote into my PC's without having the user do anything as it loads a small app on the PC that I can see when its online and remote in at will. It also has the ability to let me into any PC that can get on the internet and provide a number that will allow me to get in giving me even more PC's I can access remotely. The price if very affordable for what this can do, it also has a function to chat and do file transfers so it’s a full remote support software. I can access this on my iPhone to remote into PCs as well giving me the ability to do support anywhere and anytime. They supply updates regularly to keep it running in tip top shape.

Cons

There is not much it can't do. As long as they fix bugs that come up sometimes, and they do, its all good.

Pros

I love the access to all of my work documents etc. even when I am away. It allows me to work remotely much easier!

Cons

It can sometimes lag a little, or shut down unexpectedly but overall the program is great and I recommend it!

### "Great product, easy to configure and deploy."

Business Access has worked flawlessly for me and I am very happy with the purchase.

Pros

I like the ability to customize and configure a deployment pack and either use a usb or link to deploy. I have not been disconnected or froze at all and there is no delay when using mouse/keyboard. I also like the resolution when connecting and ability to switch the remote monitors as needed.

Cons

The only (minor) thing I don't like is that when using a new computer to remote from is that an email is sent to add the device to the allowed list. It would be simpler to have a way to verify by simply sending a code to my phone asking for permission.

Since I started using it to remotely access my computers, I have noticed a significant improvement in my productivity.

Pros

I really liked how easy it was to remotely access my computers from any device. Whether I'm in the office, at home, or even on the road, I can quickly and securely connect to my computers without any issues.

Cons

While the basic version of this platform offers many useful features and functionality, some of the more advanced and specific options cost extra. While I understand that developing and maintaining these features may require additional resources, I would have liked to see more options included in the basic plan.

### "Great, full featured remote tool"

I do technical support, and training for users on a daily basis. I'm often connected to multiple computers at the same time. It pretty well always works perfectly well.

Pros

It does everything that the more expensive programs do, and it works very well. I can have as many concurrent connections open as I need to which I often do.

Cons

Honestly, trying to say the name so that people understand it is the most difficult part.
