I have been pleased with the use of Strata, but I hope support improves soon. We hope there are new features in the future to help alleviate front desk work. Maybe an automatic feature: if a patient cancels, then an automated text goes out to patients on the waiting list.

Pros

Features such as scheduling and documentation are user friendly. Faxes from doctors go directly into the software and can be assigned to the correct client files. Clarity panel under financials is helpful when explaining a patient's balance. All the different reports e.g. staff productivity, reimbursements, total patients seen, total revenue, etc...

Cons

When new features come out, there is a lack of communication about them. I know there is a feature at the top of the screen about new features, but maybe a newsletter would be nice. Over the last few months communication with support has been slower. My rep, \[sensitive content hidden\], left the company. Since then I feel that messages aren't answered as quickly. I question if claims that need to be resubmitted are being sent out in a timely manner. Not getting alerts when claims have been denied and need retro-authorization or if the insurance company needs documents for claims to go through.

It is good overall - as a private practitioner and as a single practitioner in my practice, it is a one stop shop for billing, practice management and documentation

Pros

It’s user friendly and the staff is very helpful! They have always answered my questions in a timely manner

Cons

One thing I don’t like is that you cannot work in documents offline. Since I work in the field, I sometimes don’t have good WiFi signal

Good experience, they do what they say they will do! (which is rare for most companies today). They have been very transparent with all aspects of billing so far...

Pros

Great customer service! They have "old fashion" customer service! They get back to you in a timely manner and seem to really care about your practice success! Very happy with the Strata team!

Cons

nothing major so far, just takes a few weeks to learn their Emr and billing software, learning curve just like most things in life...

Pros

We like the integration of practice management, billing and EHR. It is also helpful the software was designed for PT, not for medicine with PT being a side option.

Cons

At times the updates cause problems with daily flow and change items that were more easily accessible prior to update.

Overall, I have had a positive experience with StrataPT and their team. \[sensitive content hidden\] in particular has been a valuable asset to our team in helping us improve our quality.

Pros

Strata has very simple documentation. I like that you can template out the notes to suit your needs and set the clinician and organization up for success to make documentation more efficient and compliant for reimbursement

Cons

the Tasks. I like the concept of the tasks as a checks and balances to keep you organized, however they feel more complex than they need to be and from the dashboard is a lot to take in when you can view the whole organization's tasks at once. I would like a more simplified structure for the tasks

StrataPT has been instrumental in the success of our newly opened outpatient Physical and Occupational Therapy business.

Pros

EMR and Billing all wrapped into one. The EMR is very easy to learn and has options for customized templates. StrataPT takes care of all the billing from sending claims to insurances, addressing claim denials, and mailing outstanding bills to patients.

Cons

I have had a difficult time managing dry needling charges. I would like to submit my dry needling charges to insurance and if they do not cover then transfer responsibility to the patient. When I submit these charges to insurance there are instances where Strata transfers responsibility and others where it is completely written off without my approval. The process of charging dry needling as a "Point of Sale" is tedious and can result in billing errors.

Great. For any smaller practice, it is a no brainer, the cost savings and cash flow is impossible to find a better ROI.

Pros

Integrated billing, billing RCM team is great, cash flow is great, insight into the clarity panel is great.

Cons

Would be nice to have a better way to track POC to be signed in an automated fashion, sends it out 3 times fi not checked in and then just a record that you did your part in trying. Would be nice to have some better guardrail/tie between documented time and billed units. Would be nice to have some better communication re: old aged AR and just coming to a point of writing some off.

Overall everything has been very good with Strata.

Pros

Strata documentation and billing system helps us to keep everything more organized and accessible. Since starting with Strata we are receiving more payments both from insurance companies and private patients. The staff at Strata is very helpful and patient.

Cons

I think the 6% or 7% that I pay for self pay patients is too high. We hope that soon we can use A1 for some documentation.

So so easy to set up and use. Quick response from support. My own account manager. I feel heard and seen.

Cons

Lots of clicking to get to what I need from the Dashboard. I'm used to it now tho. :)

Pros

Easy to use and lots of good reports. You are able to create your own documentation.

Cons

You can only send reminders out once. It would be nice to have an option to send them out on multiple days.

I wrote the other review for them on site after using them for a bout a year or less. Thought it was time for an update. Been using them for almost 6 years now. We've butted heads before over feature progressions and other matters (admittedly our own fault) and they always take it in stride and continue to build a better product. I highly recommend them as an EMR service.

Pros

\-Fantastic billing team and process. Never had any issues there at all. They always collect and they all respond. -Customer service A++ -They keep building features and improving things. -Easy access to and easy to understand practice metrics. -Comes with an integrated fax number.

Cons

\-Doesn't integrate with any other software used to manage practice. -CRM and RCM features still lacking or slow to implement. -Takes several clicks to get to most commonly used info.
