You can do even more with paid features, but I found what I need with the basic features, and I'm thankful this software exists. Cons The branding customisation is limited to the logo, and the invoices are watermarked. If that doesn't keep you from using this software, you'll be happy with the rest of the features. July 5, 2018 5.0 Pros What I absolutely love about this product is the simplicity of the interface, and the ease of which I can customize my invoices and organize my clients. Its really nice to be able to have everything you need to invoice all in one central location. (address book, invoice editor, payment organization and tracking, etc) I also love that the interface itself changes based on your personal branding, and that it incorporates that into your invoices, so that your clients see something cohesive and professional (once they open the email attachments) without you having to do much work behind the scenes to make it happen. Cons It is definitely handy to have all of your tools in one place, however all of those things I could also do myself almost as easily. This app saves you time setting up for sure, but once you have your own templates in other editing software such as InDesign or Microsoft word, it makes this platform almost obsolete. The advantage of having a central location is almost not worth the price, and I am thinking of just going back to doing my own work. I am also not a fan of the emails that get sent to my clients with Zoho branding (they see my branding and invoice after clicking to open a link, which is a bit redundant). I would like to see this app step up their game with something a little more innovative to make the price worth it, or reduce the price of the software. It's just not worth it by my standards. Reporting is easy and the mobile app makes this app one of the best I ever used. Pros Zoho Invoice is a great app, fist of all is free to use and has some fine invoice template to use if you don't have any of your own. Creating invoice is very fast and manage them is also easy. It has a nice UI and intuitive design which makes it easy to use. Cons In past i had some slow loading times, but happened long time ago. If it integrated well with the other Zoho products, it would be much better. Pros Zoho invoice has a clean interface and is very intuitive. The time tracking feature is the best we've found, especially on the mobile app. Cons It did not integrate well with the other Zoho products like Zoho CRM. It required alot of double data entry. Pros I like how easy it is to create and deliver an invoice and manage payments. It allows me to track expenses and hours billed. Cons One thing I would improve on is the email templates. I have not had to reach out to customer support, which is a good thing. Pros I love that it has many features to keep up with bookkeeping. Cons I do not like that I cannot setup a standard percentage credit card fee. I would like an option for it to calculate based off of the percentage of the total price. May 27, 2023 5.0 Pros It's got all of the tools expected plus some extras like customer portal and estimates. The price for the services my company offers will always vary, even if it's the same task. Estimates help me and my customer understand each others expectations and the variables at play. Reporting is top notch, customizable and effective. Dashboard lays out financial specs nice and clear. Importing data is allowed and saves time on setting up and getting started. Cons There's a lot to dig and sort through in order to find the tool or function I'm on a quest for. I do not like the layout at all and I don't understand why on earth it hasn't been updated. The most outstanding feature we find of Zoho Invoice is to make invoices and budgets quite easily, adapting to the standards of our country by reason of taxes, unit prices, global prices, and printing personalization of invoices as company stamps, space for wet selos, digital signatures and other benefits that make it a fundamental tool in our workspace. It's a great solution for smaller businesses and I enjoy all of the online functionality that it affords us. The ability to accept payments online and create an entire estimate to invoice system has been invaluable. Support is good too. Pros Easy to setup and start invoicing. I like the online payment features and customer portals. Ability to approve and decline estimates online is really helpful and I like that it will auto-invoice. Cons Can be difficult to find template settings if you're not familiar with it. Can be hard to find some of their great features. For example, they have pre-set functionality that you can insert into the templates that I wasn't looking at because it was named something else. Cons Cons are low: Editing business information is not always intuitive, nor is some of the report creation, but the overall product and value is really good and comparable to much more expensive products on the market, highly recommend. It's probably a lot more advanced then what I use it for but i appreciate the use of their service. hence why I'm doing them a review. Pros That its free is very useful as I don't create enough work yet to pay for a monthly subscription. Be happy to once I do. Cons I can only do 25 customers details. So when i get a new customer, I have to delete an old profile and then those old invoices relate to the new customer. I cant delete old customers because the history of old invoices won't let me. Which is annoying in terms of keeping records should i need it for declaration etc. It's a shame they won't let you delete old customers on the free system but retain invoice history.
