It really works with several users at the same time, it updates very quickly and managed communication with the clients. Pros I like Zoho because it helps us in the invoicing of our small firm, we can make recurring invoices, charge to clients, and they can make payments through the invoice or portal. Cons What I don’t like so much about Zoho is that it can be very difficult to have a perfect accounting of invoices and revenues. As we divide revenues in three categories, but have almost 60 items. I made this a little easier by making a custom field that says Category and have a help text with the available options. But its still a job to reconciliate monthly. Some invoices that are made from timing instead from an item, are not revealed in this view. Also, invoices made to reimburse expenses made, appears as revenue in the sales report. It served the purpose to track reciepts but we ended up switching. Pros Pricing was compedative and you were able to use a lot of functions but there was a learning curve if youve never used it before. We have tried other programs that can take client's payments that work with our payment system, but still use zoho invoice so the client's can understand their invoice. Pros Zoho invoice has been my company's invoice system for over 10 years. It is inexpensive, user friendly and our clients find it the best option we have sampled for being detailed Cons The major con currently with zoho invoice is that we have been unable to integrate a payment system and so we are having to use another program just for that purpose. The other system also has an itinerary built into it as well. We have CRM and Invoice integrated but it does not always sync up quickly. October 2, 2025 5.0 It was a good experience using the Zoho Invoice product. I've found a nice liking to simplicity of the Zoho products and their Invoice system continues with that. Pros I like the simplicity of using Zoho Invoice. It allows me to quickly put together an invoice for a client without much hassle. In the Free tier, you get a good amount of features that allow you to get the job done. I like the fact it's secure by 2FA for the signing. Cons I found it a little tricky to work out how to set up the payments part, especially if I wasn't using a payment gateway, and wanted to provide transfer details directly. Although after some time looking around, I managed to get it figured out. Pros Simple, high level of functionality, free for first 1000 invoices, genuinely supporting small businesses, excellent demos by staff online in India. Cons Not enough people know how great it is. I wish it was a standard part of all small business training and the endless business podcasts by bankrolled people who do not understand what starting from scratch really means. But it is also easy to set up, incredibly customizable, and endlessly connected. Cons The upload process is very complex due to tax codes, item codes, etc. It is pretty difficult to bulk upload invoice details (at least for me and I am pretty tech savvy). I have ended up just choosing to manually enter invoice data to save time messing with bulk uploads that get nowhere. I use Zoho invoices for my five companies. Whenever I need to make an invoice, I simply open up Zoho because it has my old business details which it puts automatically on the top of Invoice. This way, I don’t need to type my business details again and again. All I need to do is just select a product from the list and the invoice which is a few minute task. I would highly recommend. Pros There is a lot to talk about Zoho invoices. This is one of the best tool to create quality and free invoices online. Zoho invoices is completely free and they don’t charge you a penny to create invoices. Furthermore, you can choose templates create your listings and discounts and much more. Not just this, you can save your business details like logo address name etc… so that whenever you create a new invoice, it will fetch your business details automatically. You can add products and save them in Zoho Invoice so whenever you make another invoice, you don’t need to type again and again all you need to do is select the product from drop-down list. there are many more features in Zoho Invoice which you can use for your business. Cons To be honest, there is nothing bad about Zoho Invoice. Any start-up business who needs an invoicing tool I think Zoho is the best option for them. It’s a good tool for freelancers and small businesses. Pros Zoho Invoice makes it super easy to create and send professional invoices. I used it to bill clients on a freelance project, for example, and the automatic payment reminders kept me up-to-date on getting paid. Having the option to accept online payments is a great convenience. Cons It’s good for very basic invoicing, but is missing some advanced features in Zoho Books, like inventory management or extensive financial reporting. Cons Support is a little slow to respond which would be my only criticism of this invoicing tool. I personally found support to be very helpful but they can take 2-3 days to initially respond. The fields are particular so there's no time for confusion while looking for the blank. Pros It's very friendly. There are no extra lines to click, and it is not overwhelming, like Zoho CRM. With this one, Zoho Invoice, I can do an invoice in less than 5 minutes. And the best it's that is free! So, kudos to Zoho for helping new businesses.
