The templates are simple and straight forward, it is fast and supports multi users and currencies. The feature to create a portal for clients and suppliers is an additional bonus Cons We were unable to interface it with our previous accounting system in order to export data. You can also add a sales rep for each customer for you to track the commission and performance of your sales representatives. It is easy to use giving you a description on each tab or link for you to know the function. Making an invoice is easy. Timesheet is also available for billable hours to be computed. It has a mobile application that you can download in playstore so you can access your books even if you are out working on field. Cons The web application can be slow while loading the dashboard. I also suggest they add more payment method. Pros What i liked the most about this software is that is very easy to use and to customize it for you own purpose. You can develop screens and functionalities without coding and if you are paying the license you have all the support from the Zoho Team that helps you to solve any issue. Cons What i liked least about this software is that the database is not on MySQL or SQL or at leats that is what I understand, because I when I tried to do some queries I needed to do it with their own syntaxis and i'm not familiarizied with it, and I can't connect to a client as MySQL Workbench, I only have the possibility to do queries inside Zoho Analytics. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong but this is my experience. June 15, 2018 4.0 Pros Ok, first up, my personal shortfall is that I struggle with accounting software. But for someone who struggles I have been very impressed with Zoho Books! It has soooo many features, you can just about do anything you want. One of the best features it has though, is automated Stripe data input. With a bit of setup you can actually have a good chunk of your books automated through workflows too. Very powerful and very cheap for the quality and features. Cons Because of the amount of features, it does make it tricky to use sometimes. It's not always obvious how to find particular features and the dashboard can appear quite complex for beginner users for example. It is a very cost-effective solution, especially if you are running it with other Zoho suite products. It includes many of the features of more expensive alternatives. The projects feature is very useful for tracking expenses around each project. The software is also easy to implement across a team. Cons I would recommend this for companies that are running a full suite of Zoho products, such as Zoho CRM. Zoho Books is not readily compatible with third-party CRM or other software, so it is only recommended if you are starting a new business and do not have existing CRM, or are replacing a full suite. November 25, 2016 5.0 Zoho Books is one of the vital programs we use in our business. It is very easy to use and really has lots of awesome features that help you with your accounting needs. Of course, just like any other software, it doesn't have everything you will need or you can think of, but the most important ones are there. The mobile app could be improved, some reports are not accessible such as the tax summary and recording payments does not allow you to record bank charges in the app. But overall, it's an awesome product and would definitely recommend you use it. Pros I like that it's very user-friendly. Almost all the necessary things you need for your bookkeeping is there. Cons The mobile app is alright but can be improved. To add on that, we have linked with other platfroms we are using hence we have a seamless experince. Pros It links with multiple finance and backing systems including local banks making it pretty easy to work with. To add on that, it runs everythign from purchasing to sales, to inventory and intergartes well with other Zoho solutions. Pros I like that I can easily create my own categories for accounts. I also like that I can link multiple bank accounts as well as our PayPal account. I appreciate the instant synchronization between accounts when I refresh, so that I don't always have to manually enter each transaction, and just have to go back and edit occasionally. Cons It is a lot of information at the beginning, if you are not an experienced book keeper. Doing this as a volunteer for a non-profit, it took me awhile to get the hang of using the various features, and was a little confusing as to where to begin. It's worked great. I like that they're always adding new features, showing that they care about their customer experience. Pros For starters it's easy to use. More specifically I like the recurring invoice feature and the ability to add an accountant at the basic level. Cons Nothing that I can think of. I know I'm not using it to it's maximum capacity so some issues that I've noticed others have, I have not had. Pros Lo que más destacaría de esta herramienta es que te puedes sincronizar con tu institución bancaria y así llevar un registro muy específico de todas las facturas que se generan, lo que supone que todo esté controlado y organizado. Además, puedes disponer de los datos en cualquier momento para revisarlos. Cons Es una herramienta para únicamente para facturar, por lo que no se puede hacer la contabilidad con ella. Pros Zoho Books has relatively responsive customer support, who are willing to make software changes based on customer feedback (sometimes), and has many integrations. Books seamlessly integrates with Zoho CRM, Projects, etc. Cons Zoho Books does not integrate with any of the PSAs I was considering. During the trial period, we realised the team behind was constantly making small constant improvements every single day. This made us feel confident that the software can grow as our company grows. Over the past 2 years it introduced a lot of automation tools that made our lives significantly easier if you know how to use it. Strongly recommended. They state that their escalation takes 4-5 business days because they have to outsource the fix. I would not recommend this at all for US customers. Pros It is not difficult to use. It is not expensive (but you get what you pay for) Cons Customer service is terrible They outsource any difficult programming issues and bug fixes. They are not accustomed to US accounting methods. Very easy to use, very logical interface and nice reporting. All items are cross-linked. You can create a sales order and convert it into a purchase order. Quotations are converted to SO, SO to invoices. The financial part is great - multiple currencies, multiple bank accounts, descriptive reporting, and current status overview. Some advanced features are not so well developed as in offline systems (like template customization capability is limited by design; owners equity and profit are visible through reporting, but no tools to work with them, etc.), but we are talking about a nice tool for SMB here! Pros Ease of use and nicely featured for everyday business. Cons Some things are visible, but no way to utilize them (owners equity, profit distribution, tax payable).
