Cons I wish you could click and drag to move around the "webcam bubble" when you're doing a screen recording video as you can with Loom and Vidyard. I have had advertising agency clients mentioned they had never gotten a video message. Stood out when you need to stand out in a very crowded world. I titled my review Where is \[sensitive content hidden\] since I was trying to get in touch with a client and just couldn't get him to respond. With a humorous video that had me searching for him he responded within minutes of watching the video. Cons There are a ton of tools and they are trying to give you a great deal of them to do a wide variety of things. And I still don't have any other similar tool to make online recordings. Pros I really do use Hippo Video when I need to record whole desktop or an online meeting. This has been like that for from 2018 when I started to use it. Recording is easy and video storage quota is huge. With a Chrome browser and Hippo Plugin+online logging, the recording works 99% when you don't record more than 1hour. Cons Unfortunately long video recording somewhere about 90minutes are most likely to fail every time. This may be related to the HD full desktop recording, where the file size exceeds over one 1GB. Recording will stop and the file is lost or corrupted. This issue has been there since from the beginning and the support team hasn't been able to fix it at all. So a full online training day is still impossible to be recorded, unfortunately.If I record 1+ hour recording, I can't stop it and instantly make a new recording because the browser is still sending data to database and then processing recording. Processing may take about 15 minutes, so you can't record continuously. Sir, would it be convenient for you if we would set up a call and go over your specific use case? Well, yes. That gave me a good feeling about the product, purely due to the proactive attitude.
