I have had a great experience using Icinga to monitor our infrastructure. Before, we have to use several tools for each network devices and it took too much of our resources and adding more manual and repetitive tasks. The system detect error and problem instantly and sent alert to system administrator before the problem become too big to be handled. Cons Setup and configuration of Incinga with our network environment is complex and time consuming.
