Cons Observium server maintainance is difficult for all range of users,Mapping requires more clarity.UI also is less user-friendly. Pros We use this for network management. It helps us infer route conflicts and power consumption. It is a great tool to visualize distributed network. Cons More customization for dashboards would be really good to have. Some more documentation would help with the learning curve for beginners. Getting that information out of the tool is difficult though. Pros I liked the level of detail that this would collect. In the hands of the right person that decipher some of this information, this can provide a lot of value. Cons Reporting on the findings and exporting the details was cumbersome to say the least. It was very difficult to export the data. This was crucial for us. We want to be able to take some of this information and quickly analzye it and compare it to other data sets. Fast and simple to setup and get going. The user interface is easy to understand and presents just the right amount of information without getting messy.
