Pros

It's easy to stay up to date on company news and info in ONE place! I can view other co-worker information, give shout outs, share updates, etc and it's not within multiple systems or emails, it's all on my phone!

Cons

Nothing so far - maybe needs more content/interaction with the team, but that's something we handle on our end - not the fault of the Ohana software at all.

Engagement, communication, transparency

Pros

Ability to post text and images. For our group we frequently post pictures of us working onsite with clients allowing for our people to view all the great things we are doing and providing for our clients.

Cons

Honestly, nothing that I can think of. The app is all we were hoping that it would be. For now, no 'cons'

I really enjoy the ability to put faces to names with the user list. I also enjoy the ability to give "kudos" to those who are not likely to be recognized in general day to day operations

Pros

I like the fact that there are a few streamlined, well-defined options for the users to select. This makes sure there is no confusion as to which option to select. It's quick and easy for our users to get involved.

Cons

Some of the interface is a little awkward at first. Finding exactly where the options are was a little tricky, but overall, not too difficult.

Pros

Makes it a lot easier to communicate with others at other locations that I don't normally work with.

Cons

Honestly nothing. It's very easy to use and I've had no issues thus far.I enjoy talking to others from different locations.

Pros

I have enjoyed seeing the many different faces of offices employees from all of our locations, since we have many location, we don't get to see them often, so it's nice to know what everyone is doing, in each location. The fun things they are doing to keep in shape, the projects they are working on, and how they manage their jobs, it's great to see the before and after pictures of the jobs they are working on as well.

Cons

So far I haven't encountered any cons, unless you want to count asking the question: If you could have a super power what would it be? It seems kind of childish, but I suppose it's all in how you look at it.

Staying connected to coworkers

Pros

That you can recognize another employee for their hard work and post fun pics of job sites! Also that you can do things outside of work related that help you get to know one another on a personal level and participate in things like spirit week, etc..

Cons

There is nothing negative about ohana at this time ... I am still getting used to it and learning the ins and outs.

A great way to keep up with co-workers for social and company related things especially in other offices

Cons

A little slow to load sometimes. Have to close the app and re-open it to get it to load. Everything else works great.

Pros

Many times I am traveling for a tradeshow and need to connect/collaborate with my co-workers. Ohana has helped me do this by giving me an easy platform to use. It keeps us all connected and on the same page.

Cons

I prefer to use the desktop over the mobile app. I do think there could be some improvements but overall I still get the job done when on mobile and in a pinch.

Not clogged with spam and junk like most other social platforms. It is very user friendly and accessible.

Cons

Mobile app load time, could be due to the phone. Sometimes it will load, other times I have open it 2 or 3 times in order to see new content.

that you can both write a post & share a picture. also you can choose how and who you want to share the post with.

Cons

need more time to see all the different ways the software can be used?? It would be nice to be able to share post and info from other sites like facebook and linkedin on Ohana as well.....

I like the ease of use and functionality. Being able to quickly post photos and provide praise for co-workers is convenient.

Cons

It had some issues opening up for a little while, but those bugs seemed to have been fixed and it opens just fine.

What I like the most is the ability to share photos. It is a great app to stay connected to our other offices.

The thing I like the least is some of the survey questions. If I do not answer them it seems they keep coming up.

I like that this software gives companies the opportunity to include off-site employees a chance to be a part of the social circle. About half of our employees work remotely, several out-of-state. It allows them to feel like they're in the office with us.

Cons

I don't particularly like the surveys that are sent out regularly. I find them redundant.

Community with co workers not close to your individual office

Pros

Ability to communicate with co workers at different locations across the state and even interstate in real time. Like the fact that you can even post pictures and give high fives to other co workers for good performance .

Cons

The Time it takes to post stuff and see it actually post can take some times over night before seeing it. Would like a quicker upload time on pics and posts to Ohana

Pros

Being able to see what my coworkers that aren't at my location are up to. It helps me know what they are doing and it also helps me with ideas and things to do at my location that they are doing t theirs.

Cons

On my end at least sometimes the app takes a while to load. That is one problem that I for see. Another thing that I do not like is the organization of the post. Sometimes they are out of order and date.

It a great way to communicate with multiple offices important information that would typically have to be sent to everyone via e-mail.

Cons

I have not experienced any cons to date while using Ohana, but if I would have to chose one it would be that I use the mobile app more often than not, and it can run a little slow if my phone is having trouble receiving a signal depending on where I am located.

Since it's an app on my phone, I can quickly access it anywhere without having to be logged on to my computer or email. My employer can post announcements, surveys, and other fun information and it clearly appears as a post as soon as I open the app.

Cons

I can't really think of anything that I don't like about the software. It seems to do exactly what we need it to!

Pros

It does an excellent job achieving its purpose. Everyone in our seven offices across Indiana are connected. That could not happen without this app

Cons

Nothing too unique about it. There could be more customization available for each individual user to make Ohana personalized for there experience
