Not knowing how each applicant found us or what platform they used. Applicants are still finding ways to bypass looking at the job ad when applying

It's been terrific! Site is super easy and the support provided is quick and straightforward.

Pros

Simple to use. Easy to get started. Invaluable that you can post to multiple boards at one time. Not overly complicated.

Cons

When editing settings on job postings, it needs to be re-reviewed by the VIVAHR team, regardless of the change made.

I’ve especially appreciated the time-saving features and the focus on creating a positive candidate experience. It’s made a noticeable difference in how smoothly we manage hiring as a small team.

Pros

How it streamlines the entire hiring process. From posting jobs across multiple boards in just a few clicks to AI-powered resume screening, it saves so much time and effort. The customer support is also quick to respond and very helpful. And we've saved so much money from how we were just posting on Indeed.

Cons

While the platform is powerful, there’s a small learning curve for teams who are new to it. That said, once you’re familiar, it really makes hiring much easier and more efficient.

Great! We use it everytime we have a hiring need and it is so easy to post or re open a previous job posting.

Pros

Having one ad posted on multiple platforms and being able to organize and sort through applicants as they came in.

Cons

Once you pause or stop your ad, it takes a while to come down and applicants think you still have a job posted and call to apply.

Excellent; Viva HR solved a problem we had at a low cost.

Pros

I have been using VivaHR for just over a week. I really like the product so far. It's easy to use and has resolved the problems/ issues we had with Indeed at a low cost. The best part of VivaHR so far, has been the support from the sales/ customer support team. They have been extremely helpful and are great at following up!

Cons

Some of the job posting fields could have more options. For example, I mention to the sales rep that manufacturing wasn't listed as an option in the industry field; they added it within a day.

Pros

I work for a small organization as the sole recruiter, and in this case, VivaHR is simple and easy to use. It's easy to create job postings and have applicants populate in the ATS. It's easy to customize your own pipelines and disposition candidates. It was important that our ATS linked to BambooHR which we use for onboarding, and VivaHR has an easy integration for that. My Account Manager is easy to reach and is super helpful when I have questions about the product.

Cons

One thing that is difficult is the search feature. I often search a candidate's name and they don't populate because they have been dispositioned. I then have to change the filters to allow me to see dispositioned candidates but I wish they would always populate. VivaHR also doesn't seem to notice duplicate candidates, so I unfortunately have a lot of duplicate profiles in the system. I wish it would keep track of all applications within one candidate profile instead of creating a new profile for every time a candidate applies to a new role. This also makes it difficult to keep track of notes when I have to try to find my notes on a candidate but there's a profile for them for each role they've applied to. I also wish I had the ability to edit and/or delete a note.

I think its GREAT! It does what I need from a ATS (not HRIS) and the price is unbeatable!

Pros

This ATS has everything I need out of a ATS. I understand its limitations (not an HRIS) but our company is small and doesnt have a need for a robust system. I didnt want to pay for a robust system when we dont need it.

the message inbox isnt the most functional

It had everything we needed from an ATS. We didnt need a robust HRIS and didnt want to pay for such. This system was very budget friendly without compromising on any of the ATS functionality.

Pros

I like that it was very easy to implement, and that there is a lot you can customize. The system is very easy to use, even my managers think so!

Cons

The integration to LinkedIn and Indeed sometimes gets a little lost, but my account manager is helpful.

It has been positive overall, especially as a small business with limited recruiting needs.

Pros

I like that it easily tracks candidates and that you can customize the information you collect about them. We like the questionnaires and being able to communicate with them through the platform. We can move them from applicant through the process to hired. We also have had a lot of luck with getting applicants and have hired 13 people in 6 months.

Cons

It's a little clunky when you're trying to sort out disqualified applicants from those moving forward in the process. I have to click around to get to the people who are not disqualified and it's sometimes a little messy getting from an email regarding a new applicant to get to the actual applicant. Some issues have been addressed and it seems like a newer company who is still building the technology behind their product.

I've been a big fan of VIVAHR. in the 12 months we have been using this product, they have rolled out new features almost EVERY month...and our price is locked in. Great value.

Pros

We love the convenience of using VIVAHR as a team to hire. The most important feature for us was the ability to share notes and see in real time the hiring process. We are huge fans of the pipeline view to see where our holes and bottlenecks in hiring have been. Great applicant tracking system for the price. Highly recommend for a company needing something professional but doesn't want to pay for all the high-end features.

Cons

The ability to build a custom careers page was a bit lacking. It was super easy to get the jobs to load in our website with the copy/paste of their script, but was hoping for a full page builder.

We are hiring for entry level customer service representatives. I was really impressed when I got the first email notification of our candidate within about 3 hours of posting the job. The candidate had a source tag of Indeed. Within 24 hours I had probably close to 30 new applicants from about 6 different job boards. I was impressed enough with that first trial period, we jumped to the paid plan to get more candidates a bit faster.

Pros

I loved the simplicity of this software. I've used other ATS products which over complicate everything. This was very easy out of the box. To create my account, post my first job and sync with our website was less than 1 hour. Unheard of! I did have one question about building our careers page. I called their support number and someone answered and walked me through the steps very quickly.

Cons

I wish there were some email automation options when I get a candidate. I did see there are templates I can save, but for my high volume hiring, would be nice to automate that.
