President Design Used the software for: 2+ years ### "One of the most powerful appointment setting tools I've used" March 7, 2018 5.0 More powerful, customisable scheduling for interviews, calls, and other appointments. Pros There are tons of options if you're looking for calendar appointment scheduling apps, and I've tried many of them. However I've settled on YouCanBook.me because in my opinion it provides the most customisable options of any product in this space. You get detailed control over appointment times, breaks, availability windows, etc. You get support for custom CSS and theming, integrations with other apps through Zapier, and the ability to easily have multiple booking URLs for various uses. Cons The pricing (you pay per synced calendar, even if you aren't explicitly scheduling to each calendar) so if you're like me and your GCal has several calendars that you spread events across (I have separate calendars for Personal, Business, Travel, Events, Meetings, etc.) you have to pay for each one if you want it to factor into your availability. Customer service is also fantastic. Pros I love the fact that I can create multiple booking links for different needs and keep all links separate. This keeps my booking pages clean and removes confusion for the booker. Cons You need to create code to personalize or hyperlink text in the booking heading. This is easy enough but a bit annoying and time-consuming. Pros I like that I can use this when other people want to book appointments with me to get their hair done or their kids hair done. It allows me to see the date and time they want to have service done for them. Cons The UI can get some upgrades, and it would be nice to have more stock themes options. Pros I like that amount of features available for free and that it can be customized to fit the office needs Cons For big organizations (like University's) should have additional features that shouldn't have to be paid for in the event the office is unable to make financial decisions to add costs to the department. December 21, 2018 5.0 Pros YouCanBookMe is great for our training needs at our university! We needed to find a way for our faculty to register to use our video studio. We needed something that would block out our Outlook calendars at the same time. This tool is does the trick! We now have a simple way of blocking out the video studio calendar for holidays or maintenance. Cons My Microsoft login only works in the 'beta' instance. It can be troublesome at time to login. Also the interface can be confusing. It takes me several tries to get the sign up form to display the correct information. It is not intuitive at all, in my opinion. You are currently using iCalendar with YouCanBook.me, and you may need to take action to continue taking bookings. iCalendar's ability to communicate with 3rd-party tools like YouCanBook.me just changed and iCalendar can no longer reliably communicate with tools like YouCanBook.me. iCalendar's issue will likely cause problems for you, and we want to make sure you're aware and able to take the appropriate action as soon as possible so you can continue taking bookings. Pros It makes appointments really easy. Pretty simple to setup as well with a lot of cool features. Not much to say about it, it just works, and it works well. Cons The customization of calendars has been sacrificed a bit supposedly for speed and accessibility. You can't have custom appointment times for different days of the week (you can customize the window but not the length of the appointment). It also doesn't automatically shoot you to the week with available appointments if the week you're looking in is booked. Which I can see as a double edged sword either way you look at it. Pros I love that You Can Book Me is compatible with my Google Calendar. It's seamless, and I also love that I can customize the calendar colors to match my branding, which is very important. In order to speak with them we have to set up a time to talk. This software has been a game changer and allows our applicants to seamlessly schedule a call with the recruiting team in a matter of seconds. Before using this software we would spend so much time emailing back and forth trying to set up a time that worked with both the recruiters schedule and applicants schedule. Cons The padding before and after time slots does not have the level of flexibility I would have liked, but it is not a deal breaker. May 30, 2017 4.0 I have an easy way for students to schedule me. Pros It is simple to implement and is connected to my Google Calendar. I can unschedule myself by simply removing a keyword from my Google calendar. The URL takes you directly to my scheduling page. I advise college students and provide office hours for the students taking my classes. Cons I cannot customize the front page with links, add pictures or prevent students from canceling my appointments at the last minute. I am using the free version, in the interest of free disclosure. My colleagues use a different system which they pay for, but I don't like the fact that in that system, it takes three mouse clicks to get to the page where you can see my calendar. Alas, they won't pay for another system, so I am required to use your free version. It also updates almost in real time so your changes in the booking calendar are always up to date. Cons I wish there were more styling options to make it look more customized to your brand/company. We are using it to book "virtual recording studio" appointments for our clients. Even when this project ends, I will keep the product up and running for the next time we need it! Pros Setting up the form and creating the team members was really straightforward. With questions that I DID have, the tech support was fantastic - friendly and quick. When we went "live," we did not have one issue. And the re-scheduling is all automatic. The connectivity to our Google Calendars is fantastic. I love how I can close an entire chunk of time right from Google Calendar simply by marking a team member as "busy" in the Google Calendar. I can't imagine anything working any better than YouCanBook.me ! Cons I originally was trying to integrate separate Zoom links with 2 team members, and found that process difficult. Pros This is a super easy to use online calendar tool that lets us book calls and demos with our clients. It is perfect for what we need - no frills, no fuss. Cons I understand that support is reserved for those who upgrade to the paid tool, but some kind of email support would be great for the free tool. I've had to resort to Twitter, which is my least favorite way of getting ahold of a company. It's intuitive and gets you set up pretty quickly for scheduling appointments. Cons I didn't like that I had to go outside of Google Calendars to use it. I'd rather Google buy out YouCanBookMe and build it into the free Google Calendars and replace "appointments" which are currently only available to business accounts. Make it free. Set it free. Let appointments/calendar scheduling become a free feature in Googles! I have no complaints outside of the one I listed in the Cons. Pros \- Easy to add to any email and incorporate with our Zoom integration and Outlook - I love having customizable hyperlinks for multiple schedules or team schedules to allow for greater flexibility - The general look of the product is also very intuitive and easy to look at Cons My only complaint is that I do not see any options available to be able to send a "one-time only" generated scheduling link. This means that if I provide my scheduling link to a client, they can schedule as many appointments as they would like, even far after my assistance is needed. This can cause issues when handing out my link to multiple clients at once and having my time booked up by clients who no longer need my help. This takes away from time with clients that really do need my assistance. If this could be developed into the product that would be amazing!! I use it to set up interviews I do annually. It saves me a ton of hassle because all the interviewees can easily see the times available, and as soon as I put something on my own google calendar, it blocks the time out. We do 20+ interviews, and this saves me probably 100 emails total trying to schedule it all and send the conference line info. I send out one email announcing the booking is open and the rest is automatic. Cons The only thing is I wish it could ask the person booking to double check their email. They are usually in agreement and it is good to have just one go-to platform that I know best. Pros The option to add live links to my email responses are gold. I was unable to do this with another platform I had used before. Bonus points for a good rate. Cons Sometimes, the email responses and workflows can be confusing when setting up. But once you have done this a few times, it runs much smoother. Reason for choosing YouCanBook.me None. Now I just send them a link, they pick a time, and away we go! Pros I finally got tired of the back-and-forth emails just trying to figure out when to meet with someone. What a waste of time! YouCanBookMe gives me an easy link to share with anyone who can easily select a time. The other person gets an email confirmation and it goes right on my calendar. It couldn't be easier! Cons I wish it would make me coffee in the morning! Seriously, I don't find anything missing from YouCanBookMe.
