Pros: I like the tight integration it has with Jira. We are able to create Features in Aha and push them to Jira. It creates all the links between the two and had both way synchronization.

Cons: It can be a little hard to navigate at first, but once you understand the menu it gets easier. Also the Jira integration takes a bit to figure out.

Pros: Everything you need to do you can do. There are many areas this software covers, you can manage features internally and you can put features out to external parties to vote.

Cons: Initially this doesn't seem that easy to use but the support team are fantastic and spend time with you to explain this and get this set up with you.

Overall: We can manage projects and product roadmaps.

Pros: We have used Aha! for managing our ideas while we developed our products and we have had a great help from this tool!
Aha! enables our creative team to organize all ideas and link high-level strategy directly to the team's work, creating visual roadmaps that can be easily shared. It also integrates with engineering tools, so product and development teams can stay on the same page. Based on our experience is the best way to get out of Excel and PPT for roadmap planning.
We highly recommend Aha!

Cons: Sometime they change a little the features, so you have to newly understand how to do things to properly work again.

Overall: Aha! has enabled us to organize all ideas, clear our minds and it helped us to easily draw our roadmap and job.

Pros: So easy to use. After playing around with the trial version, we started setting up our own instance. We've changed our approaches here and there, but the ease of reporting, audit tracking of all activity, and the visibility of organizing releases and requirements has been a major improvement over the spreadsheet roadmaps I had before.

Cons: More flexibility in the views of roadmaps would be great - I have to do a lot of ppt and the notebooks or images don't always align well with our corporate ppt.

Overall: I've been way more effective at communicating my product strategy with the capabilities in excel. A lot less manual cleanup to get my message out. And we've been able to expand into a more robust formal competitor and client tracking too!

The only tool I know that does the job.

Pros: Supports the Product Management process really, really well and helps communicate what's going on. Very flexible and can model most processes.
The external idea portal integration is neat, and so is the ability to integrate with external tools like Zendesk.
Support is very, very fast and helpful with product usage questions.

Cons: It's a bit Jira-like in that it is hyperflexible with everything. It's very difficult to grasp what's happening for anyone who isn't a PM, and even for PMs there's some things in there that aren't particularly intuitive (some of the filtering and reporting UI for example, or the fact that there's a tiny dropdown that defines whether you're looking at the company or product, and also impacts your settings screen etc).
I also reported a few UX bugs to the team and received the standard "it's a feature, not a bug" response which was a shame. This is I think the downside of having Product Managers as your Customer Success people.

Overall: Finally a tool that actually supports Product Managers properly.

Aha! is a refreshing restart for Project Management software after a big search for a suitable tool!

Pros: Vast amount of functionality related to almost all aspects of project management. The scheduling tools to set up different timelines and dependencies on a project is the best I have seen in a single self-contained project management tool. Apart from basic time management and scheduling tools there are also a wide array of data analysis that can produce graphs, charts, and reports on project details recorded into Aha!, providing info previously unrecorded or not taken advantage of while using previous platforms. This allows you to see how much time you spend, your pain points, and areas of improvement for a single project or for the entire company as a whole.

Cons: As with any complicated software, the software has a steep learning curve and it is difficult to build new processes in a company for a program with this much coverage and that touches so many aspects of the company. Oftentimes when we began using the product for a certain purpose we found that it was often required to make adjustments in other areas of the company to effectively use the software. A good example would be our adjustment of protocols in the company with JIRA to effectively leverage functionality in Aha!. This often meant work required in those areas that was not initially foreseen. However, when was said and done - after on-boarding the product the benefit was a net increase in our ability to effectively manage projects.

Overall: Increased ability to manage projects effectively and an ability to handle more projects without a decrease in organization. Upscaling the company's activities as we grow, Aha! is able to positively affect a single project, and also adds benefit when managing multiple projects in an environment that may be stretched for resources at any given time. Aha! can grow with your company.

Pros: Love how the Aha is able to capture, logically store and break down everything from business strategy through to task size chunks. It really helps us make sure our developers are spending time focused on what matters most.

Cons: This is really a tool for enterprise planning, when you first load the website it is a little bit of a information overload however the video and support has been amazing.

Use Aha! to bring some consistency across different products in the portfolio.

Pros: Aha! has streamlined our release management process, while at the same time allowing us to track our product vision for each release. We can now link that vision directly to product enhancements included in each release, ensuring that our product moves forward and is properly aligned with our product roadmap. Reporting capabilities allow us to communicate on a given release in a manner that is easy to produce and share.

Cons: One con is that data backups are only available at the Enterprise Plus license tier, it would be nice if this type of security was offered at other license tiers.

Go ahead and look for pro-level product management tools, you won't find one better than Aha.io

Cons: I wish the free trial lasted longer, to give an opportunity for others on the team to evaluate it and participate in the purchase decision.

Pros: The entire product management cycle is very well though out, from collecting ideas, ranking these ideas based on votes for example, to promoting them to features, which you can then easily link to a certain release.

Release/feature timeline reports can be shared with external parties and are easy to understand for different types of stakeholders.

Besides, the team at Aha! delivers top notch customer support!

Cons: It takes a bit of time to wrap your head around all the possibilities, so it has quite a steep learning curve compared to other products, but it's definitely worth in the end! Customization options such as adding custom fields could be managed is an easier way.

No mobile app.

Pros: We've used Aha for a few years now to manage new features of our large, waterfall-based software platform. I've used other tools that are simpler and others that are more complex/comprehensive. For me, Aha is a great middle ground that is very easy to use and modify without having being too complex to configure.

Cons: I wish the pricing was handled differently. Needing to commit to a full year of license costs before adding a new product owner to the system has made some process changes in our shop more difficult than they would have been if the pricing was more dynamic. Also, I would prefer a license that charges a smaller fee for all users rather than a large fee for each product owner. It would make it easier for me to sell system usage internally.

Overall: Ability to organize, rank and manage SDLC.

Pros: It enables us to manage the annual plan and the every day project requests. We are now able to see how the requests tie back to the annual plan. Aha! is also very flexible to allow for customized fields which is very important to us.

It also has great import/export capability for features and ideas.

Cons: The import capability is a bit lacking. The other thing that I don't like is how to select the product filtering. Since we have a lot of products (300+) defined, since there is no select all option in filtering, many times I need to click many times to select all the products that I need to be included in the list/reports.

Overall: To help with the annual planning and project intake.

Pros: Outstanding design that reinforces best practices with easy. Creating strategy and connecting it to execution is now possible. The support team is excellent.

Cons: Nothing yet, nearly every time we wish it could do something, we find out that it can. Or we submit an idea and hear back on it right away.

Pros: Lets you plan a roadmap the way you would in real life - in many tiers, from strategic to actual user stories that will be completed. These roadmaps are visually appealing at all levels! That means you can present and share your work and plans at any level of detail without having to pull out graphic design tools to abstract out the details or "make it pretty" for a presentation. I LOVE their notebooks. After I share a roadmap or presentation, I create a notebook so I can always track a "snapshot" of the plans I presented. This lets me go back and reference how things have changed and why they changed. I like the ability to create and track personas as well as competitive information in their wiki type pages.

Cons: I have not figured out the right level of integrations with JIRA. The integration is very robust, and a full integration is easily supported. But that means when someone changes the info in Jira, that change comes over. Not what we are looking for. This may be more a process problem, but something we struggle with.

Pros: How comprehensive it is - not only has it allowed us to much more easily manage our product roadmap, but it has taken hours off our week through the "Notebook" reports which we can issue to all stakeholders.

Cons: The sheer number of features can be a bit bewildering - this was less an issue for me as a regular user, but to occasional users it can sometimes be difficult to find things. I'd recommend getting the licence which allows free Viewer access so that you have control over what they see and how they get to it.

Overall: The sheer amount of time it saves once it is set up - it gives clarity not just to everyone in my team, but has some amazing features to share very specific (you can be very granular) details about products with all stakeholders.

Pros: Fantastic dashboards from high level product overviews and strategy to schedule releases, allowing product managers to have a one stop, centralized database for managing every product from idea conception to commercialization.

Cons: The software works as intended and as it was marketed. My only small complaint is the redundancy of having to manage users for each individual product. Once they are loaded and granted access, one should be able to control permissions for the users within products themselves. This lack of functionality is only a matter of convenience and does not affect the efficacy or usefulness of the software package.

Pros: So easy to use. I work as a consultant helping technology companies design, launch and sell new products and cloud services. Aha is so easy to use and takes the drudge work out of creating a vision, business plan, market assessment etc. so I can focus my time on engagement with my customer and really understanding what they want to achieve. Really can't rate this product high enough and the support is excellent as well. I don't write many glowing reviews but this product deserves it.

Cons: The only thing it really lacks it the ability to create a single report across all areas for the product. You have to go into each section and export as an image or PDF. So when presenting a document or presentation to a board, it can be a bit time-consuming.

Overall: Time saving.

Pros: We love Aha! Working in the automotive industry, we need precise requirement documentation and traceability for each release. Aha! not only meets our expectation to track the requirements but does a wonderful job in helping us link key strategy directly to the team's work and create visual roadmaps that can be shared. It also integrates with Jira, so product and development teams can stay on the same page. Aha! is a great platform and I highly recommend Aha! I also have to say... their support team is top notch!

Cons: There is nothing bad I can say about a easy to use Product Management tool that is constantly being improved. I do wish there is a better way to manage requirement approvals.

Pros: We love Aha! and use it for managing our products. It helps our product team link high-level strategy directly to the team's work and create visual roadmaps that can be easily shared. The Customer Success team are comprised of former product managers who provide consultative support and best practice sharing often going above and beyond to help us get the best from the platform

Cons: Takes a bit of time to learn but its like any enterprise application. We took about a week to setup correctly which isnt that long really.

Pros: I tried Aha! for a few weeks and after the first one I realized it was the perfect fit for our needs. It helps us to capture, maintain and increase visibility of our products roadmap, from strategy to operational, day-to-day activities. Aha! team is constantly implementing new features, keeping us very confident that we made the right choice.
Our product managers are very happy with the tool, giving them all they need to control their products.
Today the whole company has visibility of what and why we are implementing this or that feature in our products.
No more trouble with priorities, release schedule, communication around new features, etc.

Overall: Better control of Products Roadmap, increased visibility of product strategy, facilitated prioritization committee meetings.

Pros: The customizable idea portals per product, the product and product line management, the idea ranking and feature ranking tools, the drag-and-drop displays and visualizations for PMs to manage their work.

Cons: The less-than-friendly release management pages and to-dos, the UI-heavy requirement and feature specification pages, instead of content-focused, and all the limitations to the VSO integration which create heavy lifting and manual re-entry in VSO itself. The notebooks are also not that friendly for collaboration, only for sharing, and are older looking with one item per page.

Overall: A formalized product planning process, integrating strategy and greatly improving visibility to release planning, strategy, and initiatives. A better process for working together as a PM team and work visibility.

Pros: Very complete product for working on one or more product management projects. We've noticed a 'tightening up' of both our internal and external teams for communication, comprehension, and delivery as we shifted to Aha. It feels like we've barely scratched the surface of what's possible in the product especially with integrations and the various template, workflows, and automation.
We have two development teams on our first Aha project, and Aha has made it very easy to see the dependencies between teams and keep the conversations and 'to do' tasks in one place.
Customer support has been proactive, and I could get on online meeting upon request to clarify some very specific points that related to our workflow. Documentation is also very good and for a deep product there is a high degree of intuitiveness (if that's a word).

Cons: It's a big program for sure. I didn't realise how much data entry I had to do until I could everything in one place, and manage the feature/requirement/task relationships properly. That's a 'con' because I hate having clarity on how much work I need to do..
For a web application Aha is very rich/deep, so the UI takes a little time to comprehend

Overall: A massive increase in visibility and comprehension between sales/product design and the development teams. We now have better certainty about features and requirements, and there's a lot less 'lost email' that previously led to confusion and delays.

Pros: The ability to easily drag and drop features into and out of releases is excellent. It has made the sprint planning and review process much faster

Cons: Sometimes difficult to navigate or find the view that you are after but on the whole there's nothing to fault here.

Overall: Simplified the product and project management process in a development environment often described as "too agile for Agile"

Pros: Everything. All of my Product managers are using it and we have definitely seen a large increase in impact to our vision. Get our users into the idea portal as also helps keep the communication documented and the users in the loop as we develop.

Cons: The only area I would have liked more features is:
More visualizations to compare features to the impact on the vision graphically.

Pros: As an IS project management team, we like Aha's ability to organize all project and portfolio information in one spot. The custom report section's timeline report is used frequently for all portfolio reviews, and it allows us to drill down to a product, release, feature with 3 clicks.
We also use the comments sections for meeting minutes and another task tracking. I would estimate we only use 50% of Aha's capabilities but are very happy with our purchase. I Also customer service is 5 star when I submit an email I get a response often within the hour.

Cons: There is a bit of a learning curve, but videos help. I think you need a senior resource that will take a couple weeks to sift through all the features and identify what's important for your implementation vs. nice to have. Since we are an IS PM team, we don't use strategy and ideas, we only use product, release, features & reports tabs. We have experimented with strategy and ideas features but have not had the time to fully explore.

There are a couple of items I have mentioned to customer service:
I would like the ability to store documents with the assurance I can recall if needed - currently, when I attach word docs I have to keep a backup in SharePoint based on advice from customer service.
I would like the calendar to exclude weekends as the default (or as an option) currently when I set up releases using my templates I have to go in and change start and end dates to workdays,

Overall: We can share project information and status immediately within our team, also useful for visual displays for internal and external meetings.

Aha has changed the game for us.

Pros: It's not that we didn't do what the software does, but what it does is organizes it and draws all the parallels together in one very nice interface. We are currently working with all the integrations to the different software we currently use. It is a great tool to organize and see your product lifecycle in one very clean interface. The ability to view everything in the lifecycle and see not only the WHAT but the WHY makes it very powerful.

Cons: I wish they had a mobile interface. So many times in meetings I get asked about one thing or another and pulling it up on my phone is doable, but not awesome...

Overall: I think the biggest benefit to using this is the transparency that the entire organization gets from using the software.

Pros: First, I never give all 5 star reviews. Second, I fell in love with Aha! in a matter of an hour. And since then I've used it for almost a month now and am even more in love.

We are using it to manage our product line. It helps us think high-level and lets us create visual roadmaps that can be easily shared. I haven't tried out the integration yet but it looks extensive - good for them. I will never use Excel or PPT again for my product roadmap planning, I highly recommend Aha!

Overall: Helped us to think more clearly about our product development, helped us organize our thoughts and kept our team on the same page. In addition, it's notebook functionality allowed us to communicate with our investors without having to give them direct access. This software is worth every penny.

Pros: This software allows teams to quickly and visually track different projects across a multitude of different platforms in a company.

Cons: The limitations of the front end UI are a bit frustrating. Perhaps due to my early interactions with the system, or my lower level credentials, but the front end home screen sections are a bit clunky and confusing to learn at first.

Overall: Allows me to get a more instant/visual progress of other team's projects. It also allows me to submit ideas to team leaders who can then use it to improve our company's roadmap.

We love and highly recommend Aha! We use it for managing our products, strategy and development.

Pros: Aha! helps our product team link high-level strategy directly to the team's work and create visual roadmaps that can be easily shared. It also integrates with engineering tools, so product and development teams can stay on the same page. Main Pros are:

-Integrate well with JIRA
-Easy to create 3 dimensional report views
-Very easy to share roadmaps and reports

Cons: In the beginning , steep learning curve and confusing navigation. But it gets better with training and experience.

Pros: Everything!

Overall: AHA! let (forced) us to step back and take a look at where we were going and what we wanted to do, and get everyone on the same page. It also lets us quickly show our roadmap and business plan to investors and then keep them updated easily.

Pros: Very intuitive and easy to use.

Comments: We use Aha! for a number of products in our organization where we manage more than 30 products and product lines. Aha! is great by default, but it also offers a number of customizations to cover lots of scenarios. For us, Aha! works very well for PMs, engineers, support and UX people. Other roles such as product marketing, demand generation and sales are also peeking at Aha! with soon to become their every day tool too.

Comments: We use Aha! to manage our entire product portfolio. Before Aha! we tried to "manage" our feature backlogs in spreadsheets. But with multiple product owners, it was a nightmare to build and maintain a consolidated roadmap, much less track cross-product feature dependencies and customer commits. Not only does Aha! give us an always up-to-date consolidated roadmap view, it's a great collaborative environment that really helps coordinate the efforts of multiple product owners to link high-level strategy directly to product plans. You can tell this product was built by real product owners. If you want to improve your product planning, I highly recommend Aha!

Comments: New to the product, but it's helped immensely in consolidating the places which I use to manage my eCommerce product.

Pros: The variety of tools: roadmap, release schedule, wish lists, backlog, etc.

Cons: I can't search across multiple pages of wish list items. The price is high for Enterprise users relative to other similar tools. There's not a field for sizing a feature. There should be a field for "Associated links"

Pros: The 'cradle to grave' visibility on Ideas coming in from Customers and Features being delivered as a result.

Cons: The Reports are very useful, but managing of them is a bit confusing.

Overall: We began using Aha! to provide our customers with a portal to submit ideas, our Program Managers with a tool for managing assignments, and all while maintaining visibility for the Leadership team and Stakeholders. The product has delivered on those expectations and provided our team with a workflow that integrates very well with our onsite Team Foundation Server, that is highly integrated into our Software Development Lifecycle.

Comments: Introducing Aha! into our product delivery process has further reduced the gap between product & technical teams and resulted in a more predictable & stable team cadence. More importantly, our adoption of the product has helped us deliver projects on-time, whilst continuing to manage and prioritise requests from existing customers.

Prior to discovering Aha, we were planning an in-house tool which connected our product managers to development teams. After a short trial, we finally got that "Aha" moment when we hooked up Atlassian JIRA & Slack and realised that we wouldn't need to spend time away from our core business activities to develop a solution to manage ideas and product features.

We've been using the product for almost a year now and have required support twice for minor issues. In both instances, the company has been ultra-responsive, with answers coming from actual product managers at the company... even late on a Saturday night.

The product does have a slightly steep learning curve, but if you stick with it and take the time to set it up, it's well worth the upfront investment in time! Supporting everything from company vision, right down to individual feature specifications means products managers have everything they need to keep our product relevant and ahead of the curve.

Pros: Simple to use, configurable to fit our needs, responsive team at Aha for support and other questions.

Overall: My team switched to Aha for our product management and customer idea tracking software. Prior to Aha, we were on an older solution that wasn't web based and wasn't as simple as it could have been. Since moving to Aha, we have seen our ease of use go up and our overall usage of our product management software increase. Integrations with other systems have been straightforward and simple. Our team loves the simple interface and reporting. Our system owners have appreciated the configurability options to personalize the systems to our needs. The team at Aha has been responsive to our needs and helped us have a smooth go live. Our adoption of Aha has been a big step forward for our group and is something I would do again without question.

Comments: Aha! was recommended to my by numerous project managers who swear by it. It's an outstanding tool, with great integration options -- but the learning curve is steep. Thankfully they have many tutorials and guides, and are happy to extend your trial if you need more time to evaluate the tool with your team. Recommended -- but I think there can be continued improvements to the UX to make it easier to navigate and use.

Cons: occassional glitches w JIRA integration, but they usually get fixed

Overall: I didn't think I needed Aha! but my PM convinced me to use it and now I love it so much. We primarily use it as an integration with JIRA, but there is no better way to conduct high level planning with stakeholders and then bring it down to all of the user stories, bugs, and tasks that then need to go into JIRA. Their integration w JIRA is solid and gets better all the time. I LOVE this product. If you're someone who has a lot of senior level stakeholders who don't understand agile development, or who want to see the 50,000-foot picture of product roadmaps, you need something like Aha! It's been a lifesaver for me.
