Pros: There is one thing that really sets GoToWebinar apart from the competition in my opinion. First, if you subscribe to GoToWebinar Pro, you can pre-record and fully automate your webinars. If you run webinars in a timezone that's 12 hours behind or ahead of you, it's a HUGE lifesaver to be able to record a webinar a month in advance and have a fully-automated version of it run during the middle of the night when you're sleeping warm and happy at home. There's zero manual input required to run a recorded webinar which is amazing. Simply schedule the webinar, invite people to attend, and it's all done for you! Do see my note below regarding the one downside to recorded webinars with Goto.

In general, GoToWebinar seems to have the largest number of native integrations (integrations that don't require you to cobble something together with a third-party API connector).

From every other standpoint, I'd say GoToWebinar is on par with most solutions out there.

Cons: There are some quirks related to the setup of webinars that can be a bit frustrating and the customization of the webinar landing pages and emails is so minimal that it might as well be non-existent. Basically you slap your logo on the email and that's where the customization ends.

For recorded webinars, there's one big downside. You need to have the recording of the webinar done at the time that you schedule the webinar. This means that if you are planning to record a webinar in a month, you'll have to schedule the recorded version at a later date. We get around this now by hosting the recorded webinars one month after the original, however it would be much better if you could simply create a standard webinar, and change it to a recorded one after it's already been created.

A little pricey compared to some of the competition, but a LOT more affordable than others.

Overall: Great webinar tool that's supported by a huge number of other apps as well. The app performs reliably and has the added benefit that most people have used it so you rarely have to worry about people not being able to connect.

Pros: - We can invite more people to join a live webinar before start the meeting.

- It is vet easy to connect to webinar meeting. With a few simple clicks from an email we can connect to meeting without any interference and hurdles in between.

- With the good speed of internet connection you can have a video with good call quality and clear vision.

- You can record the session too for future use and train more people with the same recording without repeating those things twice.

- Good software to conduct remote meetings with geographically distant colleagues.

- We can share screen too, so that other people will get more idea about what we want them to understand.

- You can transfer the rights of sharing of the screen too.

- you can submit the feedback after end of meeting for better improvements.

Cons: - This platform stuck and freeze more often compare to other remote meeting tools.

- If you do not have an accurate internet connection, then there is no use of this tool.

- The incident had happened to us that we were around 10 people in a meeting and not a single person was able to hear another person's voice. Even after login and logout several times in tool. At last we had to switch that meets on another tool.

- We have to wait outside the main meeting page if the organizer is late.

Pros: GoToWebinar was useful for conducting training webinars for large groups because of the ability to easily invite participants prior to the event, with the option to remind invitees of the event from an internal feature of the program. Following the webinar it was valuable to be able to access the roster of those who attended, along with their contact information. This was aided me in providing incentives to attendees and to follow up on the event. While conducting the webinar, the features within GoToWebinar allowed me to track who had their GoToWebinar window at the forefront of their screen (who was perhaps fully paying attention!), monitor and answer questions that came in through the question window, administer survey questions, and provide participants with downloads of PDF and Word documents.

Cons: As opposed to GoToMeeting, I did not like that (although it was easy to invite participants) each attendee had to register for the webinar rather than simply click on a link to access it. Many people did not receive a confirmation for this as the email was sent to their spam rather than to their inbox, causing a breakdown in communication.

Pros: GoToWebinar is a fantastic service if you're looking to present to a large group of people. You have the ability for your clients to interact with the seminar in the event that you want to make sure your employees attend the meeting. I have never had a GoToWebinar disconnect from the internet, even very poor connections can handle GoToWebinar. I have setup and hosted many different seminars and GoToWebinar has to be at the top of my list.

Cons: My cons come from troubleshooting GoToWebinars inside a restricted network. More than likely you'll have to make sure all your users can run GoToWebinar on their computers/laptops. This can raise questions if you're monitoring what sites are whitelisted on your network. There was also a big limitation on users accessing GoToWebinar with Group Policy restrictions. The launcher will more than likely trigger your policy if you limit the programs your employees are allowed to run. This only applies to users who run the software while on the domain. Otherwise GoToWebinar is a fantastic service.

Pros: What I liked most about GoToWebinar's software is that when we were putting together a presentation, it allowed us to invite hundreds of people. We were presenting to various sister hotels and knew we would have a large group that would exceed that of GoToMeeting's capacity, and I believe GoToWebinar had a limit of 1000 attendees at the time, which was more than we needed, but great to know we had the flexibility to invite more. It was also super helpful that attendees had to register to attend, allowing us to see exactly how many people were actually opening their invitations and interested in attending. Once we saw a general estimate of how many people would attend, we could tailor our presentation to make it more generic vs specific in order to address a larger group. The reporting functionality is by far the best feature for us as a sales team. We could see who came, who did the polls, how interested the attendees were, and poll results. It was eye opening for us to see that although we had a large turnout, the interest wasn't as great as we had expected. From that experience, we were able to analyze and re-evaluate the content of our next presentation based off of feedback we received.

Cons: I was a sales manager using the software so this didn't apply to me, but I do know that the GM did not like how expensive it was. He would often complain about the cost, but it wasn't enough for us to get rid of the software because we valued the information we gathered while using it.

Overall: GoToWebinar helped us edit the content of our presentations, pertaining to the feedback we gained from our attendees. It was fairly easy to use and our clients were all familiar with the software so we never had issues with them not knowing what to do when logging in.

Pros: From a business perspective, GoToWebinar works - with about 3-4 webinars per week, we rarely had a problem. It's a solid platform, and it just works. I also like that people can call into the webinar.

Cons: It's pretty ugly. It's one of those platforms where I have to spend a few days training a client how to use it. There's so many buttons and features tucked away. Competitors

It's also pretty expensive for most users, especially with alternatives like Facebook Live, Google Hangouts, etc.

Overall: Our goal with GotoWebinar is to connect with a massive audience (100-1000) and essentially sell them something. And a interrupt can be costly. The time and resources to get the leads to attend a live call is expensive. And if there's lag or breakdown in the connection, leads drop off and they won't buy. GoToWebinar's connection is consistent and once more, with 3-4 webinars a week - we don't see any downtime. It works!

An ultimate breakout in web conferencing.

Pros: The most considerable thing as an advantage is an actual absence of any possible flaws. Everything works perfectly fine, data is processed on the spot and there have never been any issues at all as for an overall quality of calls and chats. What I like best about GoToWebinar in comparison to, for instance, GoToMeeting, which I have used as well, is a lot bigger variety of customization options - starting with automatic scheduling and ending with a possibility to customize URL-addresses.

Cons: Because of extremely high prices (I personally don't consider GoToWebinar's pricing system unreasonable, though) it isn't used massively, which automatically decreases possibilities of linking with other co-working organizations via this tool.

Pros: We moved to GoToWebinar from GoToMeeting to save on costs. Though we've lost some features such as ability to draw on whiteboards, remaining set of features was sufficient for us. A pleasant surprise for me was ability to make surveys during the webinar as well as useful statistics available at the end (such as number of participants and survey results).

Cons: I had a few cases when the app hanged at the end of webinar so I was unable to save the recording. Also sometimes we needed to make some other attendees as presenter so he/she can share files and that was impossible.

Overall: Main benefit is still ability to conduct stable connection during my webinars and ability to interact with clients in effective way (including surveys)

Pros: We conduct about 2-3 webinars per month, soliciting both customers and prospects to our online events. We've run into some issues and difficulties, specifically around capturing, encoding, and accessing video but have enjoyed a positive experience overall. I love the fact we can capture registrations through our marketing automation platform and pass the registration details on to GoToWebinar via a simple application connector. The ease of use around integration makes for very easy setup, execution, and follow-up. The reporting features have gotten much better over the years, with the ability to glean helpful insights regarding things like attendee engagement much easier than they used to be.

Cons: The ability to brand your webinars is somewhat limited, with only a single template and limited information that can be provided for items like the opening screen attendees see while on hold. Similarly, the branding associated with reminder and follow-up emails is very limited, forcing us to use our our platform for promotion and follow-up.

Overall: GoToWebinar allows us to connect with customers in a way we would not otherwise be able to reach them, saving us thousands of dollars each year in training and support costs. Although coming with a somewhat sizable annual licensing cost, it's been a very cost-effective method for us to expand our reach to both current customers and prospects.

Pros: GoToWebinar possesses a lot more unique and up-to-date features, especially such tariffs as Pro and Plus. In general, this is one of the greatest tools for video chatting on the market today. This tool can't be recommended to you if you run small or medium business, as costs won't seem to be worth using it, unless your whole working process is built around video conferences, which I would doubt. But if you are an owner of a big company with over 100 employees, GoToWebinar is definitely what you need.

Cons: One thing I would like to be added, though (and it's more of a whim at this point) is that it would be possible to collect payments within the platform. This would be helpful and time-saving for those who run paid courses or something like that.

Pros: One of the things that I like the best is that the program reminds invitees to join your webinar. So there is no need to send special e-mails - GoToWebinar will do it instead of you. Moreover, there is an option of recording your webinars. So you can analyze it later or reuse it if you need. Also I like the electronic hand rising, which lets you know that someone has a question.

Cons: As for me, the level of customization of webinars could be better. You can only place a small logo of your company and that is all that you can do. And even this logo is barely noticeable.

Pros: Go To Webinar is my go to platform for webinars. I think that they make it easy to schedule, and to enter details for registration, panelists, etc. I also think that the interface is easy for the audience to understand, especially enjoy the question box.

Cons: I think that there is really no flexibility in customizing the back end of your webinars. I would love to be able to ask people what country they come from, without forcing them to also pick a US state they're from (yes, this is a thing and a major problem when you have an international audience). It would be great if they customized the state dropdown menu for each country, or simply made it grey out when someone chooses a country that is not the US. I also think there are few options for logo or branding, and I really wish I could include hyperlinks in the description.

Pros: All the controls such as send out invitations, ending the webinar, managing the microphones, and video, running the screen presentation, switching screens when necessary etc and compatibility with Mac versus PC. Best technical support I have experienced, ever. Tech Support's team with whom I interacted exhibited knowledge, courtesy and spoke in easily understandable English. And I was on a freebie! I mastered the app with their help and concluded my webinar successfully. I have another on Tuesday next week.

Cons: Cost is high if you can only use it once or twice a year. Otherwise, the cost is competitive with the other similar apps I tried. I am thinking of ways to increase webinar marketing to spread the cost over multiple webinars. The basic cost of per month for a small company is OK if you use the tool every week. Medium and larger sized companies have other pricing options that appear reasonable considering the features and number of users.

Overall: I am able to do a complete webinar (never having done so in my life) in less than 24 hours. Feature rich with a well thought through design I do not think you can find better.

I have accessed webinars by using GoToWebinar. The system is easy to navigate as a participant.

Pros: It's easy to set up, attend, and invite others to a webinar. The reminder is automatically sent out to those who are registered to attend/participate. You have the option of listening via the computer on mute or calling in on the telephone. The webinar navigation bar for chatting and asking questions is simple. Uploading the PowerPoint is simple and accessible to those who attend the webinar.

Cons: The cost for this software/program is expensive for the smaller company. Because of the cost, it forces the smaller company to go with the free programs that are available that aren't as efficient.

Overall: Being able to engage others virtually in a presentation, webinar, or training session. You can reach multiple people at once and with video option you can see people who are presenting as if you were in the same room.

Pros: I like the landing pages they provide. They tend to get better registrations than the ones I create on my own. The reports are very informative too. They help the sales team a lot. It pretty much takes care of all the little things like emails, surveys, recordings and it is very easy to use.

Cons: Not a ton of direction when we started. I think that a little bit more training would have been helpful. It could be more interactive.

Overall: Starting to create and run webinars for my company took a lot of learning and a lot of effort. Thanks to gotowebinar it was not a difficult process. It helped a ton with everything from content, registrations, attendance, reporting, Pardot connector and increasing success over time. Overall we are happy with the service that we get from gotowebinar.

Pros: In the modern world gained popularity the way of the attraction of potential clients through webinars. We rejected this way of searching the clients for a quite long period of time before we met with GoToWebinar. They suggested us to try their product for free and we decided why not. And the very first result was fantastic! Through making the free presentation we attracted some clients which in prospect gain us a very good revenue. This software looks the modern and beautiful way, works without lags and have excellent employees which will always help you with pleasure.

Cons: There were some troubles to connect to the webinar from some countries. The internet connection was good enough, and everything else seemed fine too, but somehow they just could not connect. But then the supporting team did something and after that, we never faced this problem again.

Pros: As a User who would set up meetings or attend "webinars" presented by other industry professionals, GoToWebinar is the next generation of telecommuting. Directed to use this as an employee, this was an incredible tool to learn more from industry insiders and successful companies to be able to ask questions in real-time chat, participate in polls, and be able to revisit the "show" at later times. As the employer using this, GoTo was an immensely helpful tool in presenting our findings and creating the overall conversation locale for business meetings. Whether through live camera feed or screen share, this tool was incredibly helpful.

Cons: Without too many complaints, sometimes there were occasional hiccups in the start/beginning stages of a call. Once issues were discovered and "fixed" the show would go on without a hitch, but we could have run into a number of issues. That may be browser hang-ups, lack of video but with accompanying audio or vice versa, and seldom, lag. Overall, very efficient.

Pros: Easy to use for both presenters/hosts and participants. Chat & polling ability allows for interactivity without cross talk. Easy to screenshare.

Cons: It's not as pretty as some other online meeting interfaces, and I feel it sometimes gets a bad rap because it's been around a little longer. You might not seem as "cool" using GoToWebinar as if you use Zoom, but these are fairly minor points because mostly people just want something that works, and GoToMeeting does.

Overall: I have used GoToWebinar both as a webinar participant and as a presenter, and it's a great interface from either direction. As a participant, the sign in experience is easy and it's easy to tell how to do things like answer a poll question, chat, mute and unmet yourself, etc. As a presenter, it's easy to understand how to share your screen, see who's in the webinar, ask questions, and do everything you need to. I do recommend making sure you do a test run before your first live presentation, just to give yourself a chance to walk through things, and I've seen glitches when transferring between different presenters who are at remote locations from each other, so practicing transitions is a good plan.

Pros: I love using GoToWebinar. Good quality of audio and video during webinars. GoToWebinar uses multiple connections at the same time, which I assume is the reason for this high bandwidth. Also, you can make a branded waiting room with your logo and a welcome message that members will see before the presentation begins. It has been a perfect training tool for our customer success team. I would recommend ensuring that you should buy a good quality microphone and recording set up so that the recordings that are produced are the best quality they can be.

Cons: I would like for there to be more options to interact with the presenter. Also, the polling questions design is functional, but no flexibility to change the design. At rare times it is glitchy with the audio when there are more than several panelists.

This program has always ran smoothly for me once I have been able to login.

Cons: My one concern is logging in via my mobile phone. This has always been a struggle for me. No matter how I try, I cannot log in as instructed. The only way k have been able to log in had been via calling in. This isn't particularly convenient when I am on the road. Besides this, webinar had been quite efficient for me.

Pros: Attendees connect in muted mode. Attendees can join before the meeting has started.

Presenters can share screen and record. Recorded webinars can be converted to movies and shared on websites.

The system reports on the users attentiveness so you can see how effective the presentation was.

Simple to start up and connect to meeting for attendees.

Easy method to unmute a participant so they can speak and ask a question.

Question system has handy option to just reply to that one customer or you can reply to all.

Cons: You can't disable features like raising hand, which has no real purpose that I can see.

If something goes wrong it can be difficult to know. E.g. how can you know if the audio stops or if you forgot to share your screen. (some of this is user error).

As you often share your screen the window is a bit cluttered. Ideally you need two computers. One to connect share screen the other to administer the webinar.

Overall: Hosting monthly webinars with customer with an easy sharing and connection method.

Pros: It costs the invitee nothing and I rarely have trouble getting connected. This keeps me from having to drive to the city to be in a meeting. We can join learning sessions from the comfort or home or office. It is a good way for my clients to have me join their "events" so I can support them better.

Cons: Some webinars are easier to participate in than others and being only the user and not the driver, that might be a function of how they have set up the session. I don't deliver them myself so I'm not sure how everything works behind the curtain. Sometimes we can see each others and other times we cannot.

Overall: I get an easy experience that encourages me to join a meeting or a learning opportunity via the internet.

Pros: Gotowebinar is by far the best webinar software for me in the past two years now! As an internet marketer, I constantly host webinars to educate new and existing customers.

Gotowebinar has enabled me increase my affiliate earnings, It enables me to educate potential customers on my products and services.

These days, written words are not enough to make the desired sales, customers need to have a personal touch with you before they make that buying decision, and this is where Gotowebinar comes in handy.

Cons: This tool is great for the money, however, new marketers struggle to pay the price. I had to struggle so hard in order to afford this tool.

Overall: Gotowebinar helps me increase my affiliate earnings. Helps me educate potential customers on my products and services.

Pros: I like that we can train our entire sales force all at once, while allowing them to submit questions in real time. It makes training sessions feel more personal and as a result, our sales teams are able to learn new materials and features of our business more easily. We are able to share not only live video, but desktop streaming as well which allows us to share charts and analytic info with the participants. Another great feature is that there can be multiple streamers running the webinar from different locations, joining in together to do the presentation while the guests can all view and hear, while at the same time have the ability to submit questions and comments via the chatroom.

Cons: Zero complaints about GoToWebinar. It provides everything we need to demo our latest products and marketing materials to our sales teams.

Overall: Overall, GoToWebinar has increased our ability to reach out ot our sales teams in the most efficient way possible. Using GoToWebinar is the closest thing you can get to being in the same room with all of the participants. I really don't feel that anything is left out in the overall experience.

Pros: There are so many things I like but highlights for me are the great control panel that lets me see the attendees behaviour, the reporting feature that shows who was interested, the recording function that lets me share and finally the stability and reliability that I can count on. I think its really well thought-out and easy to use.

Cons: Maybe a few more local dialling codes for more countries could be useful.

Overall: We get lots of benefits from this software, the main one being its a lead generation tool for us; by helping us deliver webinars we are able to educate our prospect base and build a solid sales pipeline for the future.

Pros: On my opinion Webinar is a great service with a lot of interesting features. At first, it allows you to conduct webinars without delay in the broadcast. Secondly, it's constantly developing new tools for solving your problems. I use GoToWebinar in several ways related to my project. Sometimes I present free webinars as a sales tool to introduce prospective clients to my workshops. Also, I make the recordings of these sessions available to the participants to replay later. I've had to call support on several occasions, and I appreciate the fact that it's available 24/7.

Cons: If speak about cons, then I don't have what to say. Generally, a program working good and gives good opportunity, but the design is poor and no customization. Private pop-up notifications when questions are received by attendees, I sometimes miss new questions if I'm viewing the attendee list.

Pros: I like that you can easily switch between multiple screens, programs, etc. You can configure whether you're viewing and/or listening on your phone or computer.

Cons: If you're running a more than one piece of software during your demo or webinar, GoToWebinar slows your computer down. You have to slow down how you present. However, I haven't really found a competing solution that doesn't do this. It's no better or worse in this aspect that its competitors.

Overall: I use GoToWebinar to present to customers across the world. It is easy to use & setup a meeting, configure how & what you present & makes presentations online easy.

Pros: We have never had a connectivity issue with GoToWebinar, and its interface is easy to understand and utilize.

Cons: Not the most features I've seen in webinar software, but there's something to be said for simplicity.

Overall: This has been our workhorse webinar software for a couple of years. While other platforms have been hit-or-miss in terms of consistent connectivity, GoToWebinar never gives us trouble. Our customers and sponsors alike use the platform, and it's easy enough to use that someone unfamiliar with web conferencing can jump right in. There might be a couple software packages with more robust features, but for our money GoToWebinar delivers reliably.

Pros: Offered great video quality and sound to our webinars.

Offers pre-recorded webinars.

Easy to set up a session and go live.

Cons: Upper level subscription required for pre-recorded webinars (running automatically).

Recording would be 10x better if it were automatic. I was burned a couple times.

Some videos had audio scrambled after converting. Unable to repair the full video. Lost multiple recordings to this.

Our customers were constantly confused by "join links" -- BUT this could have always been user error.

Overall: Go to webinar is confusing if you want to ingrate it deeply into what you are doing. Using all its capabilities will probably lead to upgrading of subscription or purchasing another product that's very similar but not quite from the parent company GoToMeeting.

As a participant it's pretty straight forward. As an Admin, it can be a bit glitchy.

Pros: When registering, it provides you with everything you need to get connected - the phone # to dial in, the access code, and audio code. Tools to use once entered are easily viewed and straight forward.

Cons: As an admin who also participates in webinars, the software does not do a good job of distinguishing the difference. When logging in as a participant, it will set you as the organizer and take the controls away from the actual organizer.

Another oddity is sometimes the audio controls don't work and you have use a different string of commands to activate.

Pros: The organization I work for has recently started selling out for certain events due to the size of our conference room so we decided streaming the presentation for people so they could still be apart of it. So far we have had no issues- everyone can hear well and the process seems to be very easy for anyone to figure out. Once we register someone we put in their email and send them the webinar info and they can join the webinar. I like that they are able to interact even when they aren't there, they can ask questions through chat and do different polls. You can have many different users join and I think they love the fact that can all interact.

Cons: The cost is high so I suggest only purchasing if you will use it more than a few times a year. If you are only needing to conference call with a few people I would stick with gotomeeting. It could use a little re design as well.

Pros: It's pretty easy to get started, which is always appreciated, and the options to record and distribute recordings are also simple to use.

Cons: Much like any tool of this type, it is susceptible to internet connection issues that create lags, etc. I don't believe that's a problem with the tool itself - it's a common issue that can happen any time you use any tool like this. It's a chance you take!

Overall: We've found it to be a relatively cost-effective way to host and broadcast professional presentations with minimal effort. The controls don't require too much thought, meaning you can give your full attention to the content you're presenting instead.

Pros: The best advantage is that the login for clients is simple and understandable, no additional passwords or registrations, like some programs, are required. I like how easy it is to use, and it looks professional. Everything is self-evident. I've used many platforms for webinars, and GoToWebinar competes with the best. The software unites everyone with the opportunity to exchange documents and presentations in our team. This tool is especially useful for us for learning and teaching our employees.

Cons: I wish I could set up landing pages and automatic emails to reflect my company's branding. In addition, it would be nice if GoToWebinar found the default sound device and went with it.

Pros: GoToWebinar provides an outstanding experience for both the presenter and the attendee. It is very easy to use and offer many more features than most products of this kind.

Cons: As far as the product goes there really isn't anything is missing or requires significant improvement. If there is a downside it is the cost for SMBs that don't have a on-going, regular need for a solution this robust.

Overall: For SMBs that offer more than the occasional webinar or sales meetings and need to accommodate larger groups then GoToWebinar is by far the best solution we have found.

Pros: I have been using GotoWebinar software for the past 9 years and have found the basic service to be very reliable and have done over 210 webinars using it.

The video functionality that they have recently added has been a good addition.

Over the years that have made it easier for people to dial in, we get few problems.

They also offer a phone dial in number for people to listen to the webinar audio.

Cons: - The API is the worst API that we have used. Most products provide a simple REST API with a reasonable amount of instructions. The Gotowebinar API is badly documented and is difficult to work with. Just found out that the current API expires on 31 Jan 2019 and you have to move to Oauth2 - a costly migration.

- Support for the API is awful. In November we were unable to use the API for 10 days.

- The chat function is limited - we developed a chat room to run alongside GotoWebinar, but cannot integrate it with the webinar software

- Takes a while to convert the recording

Overall: We love the reliability. We run a weekly webinar and over the past 9 years have done 210 webinars, with a good attendance. Let down by the API and very poor support, which seems worse since the LogMeIn purchase. Now starting to look for alternative webinar solutions.

Pros: It`s very similar to GoToMeeting, so if you used that, then it will be very easy for you to work with this tool too. Key difference is that you can have way more attendees on the webinar online, all other features are in place, you can share your screen, you can record your self, you can manage your attendees, so very beneficial tool to share information with a big audience.

Cons: Takes lot`s of time to export your recorded meeting. Could be quite complex to set up a very first webinar if you not familiar with those tools.

Pros: The pricing structure is just simple. You get everything (webinars, meeting rooms, and free audio. The UI is incredibly easy to use. It also comes with attendee lists and basically attention meters that tell who paid attention.

Cons: The big downside is that your attendees have to download a software, which can be a problem for some enterprises. It also does not working with smartphones nor tablets, so users have to be on desktops.

Overall: Video conferencing, private rooms, hosted webinars, a good deal of attendee space

Pros: I've used it with paid and Free version. It allows you to have meetings, conferences, webinars etc. I've used it to have meetings and I plan to use it for webinars for my online business as well! You can record the whole meeting, you can write notes, draw on the screen, share screens, you can call/dial in if you don't want to speak over the online portal. Its easy to use, very convenient, professional, nice interface tools.

Cons: The interface is cool, BUT when you are in a meeting, there is an X in the floating box that is your meeting, and if you open the chat, I sometimes think, if I click that X will it close my chat or the whole meeting!? So, I always have anxiety about that dang X. I wish the interface would be a bit more specific. Of course, Free version is limited. You can have like only 3 people in a meeting, no support,

Pros: What I like most about this software is how it allows the users to easily be invited and from the viewpoint of those in the webinar have the ability to interface quite easily with the person or persons leading the seminar. It is very easy for those who have never used Webinar software before to understand how to use it when invited to do so even if they have not had much exposure to attending a webinar or even setting one up. This makes it very useful for the person holding the webinar and it saves a lot of time as the meeting is able to start sooner.

Cons: What I like least is some of the functionality controls that this software has. For example, let's say I were to maximize my screen to the webinar screen, I am not always able to easily minimize it without using specific key bard shortcuts or buttons like the escape key. I feel like there could be some more easily accessible user options, but all of the functionality I need is there and is accessible. Overall it is a great product and this is not something that would stop me from using it, but better tools and options buttons/tabs would be nice to see in newer versions.

Pros: It's excellent to divide training among several instructors. As a participant you get to participate and even ask your questions without interrupting the training.

Cons: It has a limited amount of participants per Webinar, 25 total, which forces you to create multiple sessions to allow everybody to be in the training. Q&A seems from the participants perspective confusing since you never get to see that other participants are asking questions.

Pros: Very easy to use. It's easy to send out the link and have large numbers of people click into it without trouble. Being able to have multiple presenters in different locations is huge when you work at a company with people all over the place. This can get a little confusing if it's not planned out beforehand but that is 100% user issue and nothing to do with the software. There is also a feature where you can have people "raise their hands" either to get a response to a question you are posing or if they have a questions. There is also a chat box for this.

Cons: Aesthetically it is a little dated looking but that doesn't affect the functionality. If your internet connection isn't strong there will definitely be a lag but all presentation software has that.

Pros: It's reliable. We were previously using Skype, which frequently had breakdowns and made it a hassle for users to either access a webinar, or would simply perform poorly during the webinar. It was a risk we weren't willing to take after a few webinars. Furthermore, the reporting helps you learn about the content of your presentation and how engaged users were throughout, providing you with actionable data for future webinars. Audience polling and questions are also very easy on the end-user side.

Cons: It's a little expensive for a smaller company who may only host 4-6 webinars a year. That said, the ease of use could make it worth the cost, depending on the reliability of your current software. The branding of some of the emails also leave a little to be desired.

Pros: We use GoToWebinar on a monthly basis to host a company-wide meeting. It has been reliable and does what we need it to do. We employ several different computers during this time. One that hosts the webinar, one that has the webcam running, and run we join to moderate. It's kinda a mess, but it works! So far there haven't been any major issues and we've been running these monthly for quite some time. It really helps remote employees feel they are a part of these company updates.

Cons: I can't really say there are any major cons with GoToWebinar, at least not that I can recall at this time. Most issues we've had can't be solely blamed on GoToWebinar. Usually it's just weird compatibility issues or little one-off blips in connectivity from time to time.

Pros: GoToWebinar is very easy to use. Very little technical support calls have been required in the year that we have been using GoToWebinar. Their service stands out with unlimited archiving of webinars included in its monthly fee. This has been important to my client who hosts multiple webinars each day resulting in 6-8 hours of daily archiving.

Cons: Occasionally the app gets corrupted and a reinstallation is required.

Overall: Excellent experience both on administrator - host - dashboard end and on the user end. Works great across all platforms, pc and mac, android and apple mobile devices included.

Pros: I have never had any issues attending webinars that other people have set up. I have never been the one to set one up, so I'm not sure if the software is difficult or has issues on that side, but I have attended several GoToWebinars for trainings and they have always worked without issue.

Cons: Nothing from my end - has been easy to follow the instructions and view webinars others have created and sent out.

Overall: Great, I haven't had an issue yet!

Pros: I find this software extremely easy to use! If you do not have it installed, it makes it so easy by installing itself and bringing you to the interface screen that you need. It is so easy to watch a presentation or training session and share the presenter's screen. Good program!

Cons: Sometimes the call in feature is annoying but more because of the user than the program. Folks joining the call don't always know how to mute their line.

Pros: One of my favorite features about GoToWebinar is the ability to record a training session to either send a training to a participant who missed the webinar or to review my own trainings so I can see what to improve for the next one.

Cons: Although there is a way for participants on the webinar to submit questions during a training or presentation, it would be nice if when a questions was posed by a participant a pop up box appeared or a blinking message was generated to grab the presenter's attention to alert you that there's a question. Often times during my trainings or presentations, I minimize the side bar to enhance the amount of space on my screen so a notification while that side bar is closed would be ideal.

Overall: I use GoToWebinars to give presentations or trainings regarding our database. Generally speaking, GoToWebinar is an easy-to-use software program that serves our needs and purposes. The ability to record training sessions is a nice feature.

Pros: We recently switched from a platform that we've used for over 10 years. The saddest part of the breakup is that we didn't explore GoToWebinar sooner. The price is a fraction of what we've been paying for all that time, we have experienced no technical issues whatsoever and the support is phenomenal. Every question we had was answered promptly and in a thorough manner. We use webinars for educational purposes and it's a relief to be utilizing a platform that our audiences as well as instructors can use, seamlessly. Lastly, even our account rep who primarily handles sales, was extremely knowledgeable on the tech-side too - which helped us make the jump with confidence.

Pros: Very easy to use. I like that the camera doesn't turn on automatically when I sign on. I like that I have to select it to have it turn on. I also like that the administrator can mute or unmute everyone, it makes the calls less distracting. The polls that pop up in presentations are also a nice feature.

Cons: I dislike that the adminstrator is the only one who can record the meetings. I am the admin assistant and need to record meetings for my boss, but need to remind them every single time to record the meeting, when I should be able to do it myself.

Cons: No complains at all. Maybe the chat feature could be improved so its easier to interact and read other people's comments, but besides that, I like this software a lot.

Pros: The webinar scheduling is super easy as well as monitoring the registration and other marketing related tasks, like following up after webinars. It also provides some good analytics options.

Cons: It deserved a 5 stars until lately, perhaps GoToWebinar is trying to make some changes, but they never communicate the changes with us. I remember recording a webinar several weeks ago and the recording turned out to be horrible, as it somehow included the control panel as well as the questions asked, I hope it wasn't also broadcasted during the webinar...

Pros: I love the reliability and classic structure of being able to schedule a webinar, have registration links, track signups, and engage with audiences. It's always reliable and most enterprise users are familiar with attending a GoToWebinar conference.

Cons: The biggest disadvantage is having to download and install software for viewers to join the webinar and have full functionality. Second to that, it's a slightly dated interface and difficult to find the right buttons as a viewer and especially as a host.

Overall: Overall GoToWebinar accomplishes its purposes; to share your screen/video camera with an audience. But it falls short of giving users a common sense user interface and slick feel--and at an enterprise price, it's questionable whether it's worth it.

Pros: Ease of use. The first time I used it for a client, I had no difficulty understanding what to do and how to do it (and I'm not overly tech savvy). In fact, multiple members of our client teams use the webinar software on a monthly basis with no trouble whatsoever.

Attendees also have little to no difficulty figuring out how to use the webinar software (clicking on their link) or join the webinar.

Best of all -- free trial without having to punch in credit card digits. The free, 30-day trial is the way to go, as it will reinforce the product's ease of use.

Cons: We've had some difficulty branding webinars using GoToWebinar, and their templates, which SIMPLE to use, don't necessarily reinforce company branding in the smartest way.

Overall: Ease of use. Don't spend days, weeks, or months trying to figure out how to host a webinar. Use GoToWebinar and get the job done.

Pros: It makes it easy to share screens in a phone meeting. As a designer, it's super helpful to me to see a client screen when we are discussing a project, so I can see exactly what they are referring to when talking about changes, inspiration, etc.

Cons: The only thing I don't like about this software, isn't the software's fault. It's just weird for me to give up control of my computer to someone. It just feels weird. But it's helpful to me, if I need to help a client do something. So again, this isn't a fault of the software, just a fault of my weird brain :)

Overall: It's an easy way to share screens, control screens, etc, and have a productive business call. You can call in, and everything is handled through the sofrware. Super easy to use.

Pros: Every time I assisted a webinar held with this tool, I was able to enjoy perfect connection, good audio, no delays or "hiccups" and quality screen sharing sessions. I also believe that the fact that you have to download a tool and install it in your computer pushes you to commit to the webinar more than if it was just held online, and also to focus on it (plus, the host can even force full screen on the attendees).

Cons: Sometimes the chat boxes can get confusing, but if this is properly explained by the hosts then it usually is not a problem (people chatting in the QA box, or posting questions in the chat one). I also would love to be able to see the questions ahead of time in the QA when people ask them, so far all webinars I attended only show the questions after they have been answered or as they are being discussed.

Pros: This software is super helpful when you're trying to connect with outside vendors or teams. I've used this a lot for webinars.

Cons: It's tough to navigate within sometimes, and also doesn't function properly if I try to utilize a different screen on my computer at the same time.

Pros: This has all the offerings of GoToMeeting, but it allows up to 2000 attendees on one call. That's more than I could probably even recruit for an event!

You can create custom registrations for each attendee, administer polls and surveys, and share recordings of the webinar after it has concluded

Cons: This is a much more expensive option than GoToMeeting, and if you don't need the added perks (more people on one call, hosted recordings, polls and surveys) then it is probably not worth the increase in cost.

Overall: This is almost the same as GoToMeeting, which is a great webinar hosting service. It has the added benefit of hosting recordings of the calls.

Capterra loader

A solid platform that could use an upgrade.

Pros: If you are looking for reliability and stability, then Gotowebinar is your platform, especially if you deal mostly in the B2B market. Gotowebinar seems compatible with most organization's firewalls and I never had an issue with a participant having troule logging in. It contains all the basic features for running webinars such as screen sharing, web cam and both a chat and question box for people to engage with you.

Cons: This software could use an upgrade. It has basically looked the same year upon year, which isn't bad per se but the competition continues to add features that Gotowebinar seems slow to adopt.

Pros: great functionality and everything you would expect from a webinar tool, sharing a screen, raising hands, chat, recording, etc.

Cons: like with anything internet based, it sometimes cuts out, especially the audio. however, I'm not sure they can help a poor internet connection
