Pros: I love that you can easily schedule and send out invites for a webinar. I also love the ability to have multiple organizers who can answer questions for the presenter so that he/she can focus on the presentation they are giving without having to stop for questions continuously.

Cons: My least favorite thing is that when you are answering questions for a webinar every time a new question comes in from anyone it removes your cursor from the response box. When a lot of questions are coming in it becomes very difficult to type with any degree of speed since you need to repeatedly click back to the box with every question that comes in.

Overall: It allows us to quickly and easily organize a webinar and invite our clients and prospects to attend. It also allows for easy presentation and question answering throughout the webinar.

Pros: This software serves a variety of functions, very well, however, one we did not anticipate was getting help from our CRM software. In order to help us more effectively, they began utilizing this service so we can collaborate and share screens in order to solve a problem. It has worked GREAT!

Cons: The only negative we've experienced is the variation in specific links to get a webinar. They must be distinct, we understand, but often times users get lost clicking previous links in an old email.

Pros: My favorite is the polling feature. I think being able to poll the audience with a large audience in a webinar brings the speaker a lot of useful information about who their audience is. It gives the speaker a chance to engage with the audience and bring relevancy into the presentation.

Cons: The thing I like least is the fact the poll results are only available to admins. As I was not the host of the webinar, I was only a speaker and my view did not allow me to view results. The hosting company had to tell me what everyone had responded.

Pros: There are so many things I like but highlights for me are the great control panel that lets me see the attendees behaviour, the reporting feature that shows who was interested, the recording function that lets me share and finally the stability and reliability that I can count on. I think its really well thought-out and easy to use.

Cons: Maybe a few more local dialling codes for more countries could be useful.

Overall: We get lots of benefits from this software, the main one being its a lead generation tool for us; by helping us deliver webinars we are able to educate our prospect base and build a solid sales pipeline for the future.

Use to host live webinars - registrations are easy, hosting is simple, audio has flaws.

Pros: Creating webinars and inviting guests is very easy. The hosting process, including sharing your screen and taking questions, is simple to navigate.

Cons: Almost every time that we have hosted a webinar, somebody has complained about audio issues. Whether we connect through the computer or phone, 1 or more people have trouble connecting and/or hearing.

Overall: We have had solid lead generation through hosting webinars on GoToWebinar, and it's a pretty painless process.

Pros: Joining a webinar by phone is possible, even though in many cases it doesn't make much sense without picture (slides).

Cons: It seems to need some binary plugin (similar, but not identical to most-hated software flash) and not rely totally on HTML5, although competitors manage to do so. As a result, a commercial operating system is necessary, and installing any binary plugin always exposes the machine to security risks, so that many customers are hesitant to allow it. It some companies, it's actually forbidden for users to install software from the internet.

Overall: Actually, not many.

Way too expensive for how up to date it was and the functionality of it.

Pros: What I liked most for the short time of using GoToWebinar was the ability to host live webinars. And have the automated emails sent before and after to remind customers to join at the specific start time.

Cons: What I liked least was the high monthly cost for what you got. I feel like GoToWebinar is extremely basic and outdated. Unless they've upgraded to a better system recently.

Overall: Not much at all. Other than it was our very first webinar software we tried and got introduced to it.

Pros: We have partners spread out over a vast region, and this software allows us to all connect for training, educational presentations, etc. It's been a big help in saving time and money to conduct training seminars that is available to everyone electronically, rather than traveling to their areas for the same materials.

Cons: I don't really have many "cons" for the software. It took a little bit of training so that all the users know how to use it initially.

Pros: We switched from another tool to GoToWebinar, and we are very pleased. The recording options are great, also the quality of the video and audio.

Cons: Auto-emails should be re-designed. they are very basic and "old". There is no option the design them.

Overall: Tons of leads every month!

Pros: Very easier to set up and re-use webinars - provides URLs for posting on social media and makes follow up with attendees

Cons: Some problems with my desktop. Had to switch to a new laptop to avoid repeating errors - not sure why!

Pros: We can set up webinars quickly and easily. Customers can access from any device and we don't hear about any issues from attendees. We can easily manage how we communicate with attendees such as un-mute or use the chat panel. Webinars can easily be recorded and shared later.

Cons: Sometimes when sharing my screen I cannot see whether I have notifications such as a customer having audio issues etc. It would be good to have an 'alert' type of button customers could use if urgent.

Pros: Easy to listen to a speaker with multiple users. Very clear and high quality playback on this software.

Cons: Hard to interact with teacher, but that may be beyond the software's capability. Not much to complain about with this program.

Pros: I like this software because it is easy to participate and view the webinar. The chat feature is great to participate in the discussion.

Pros: Took a week but with a little pressure they refunded our money. Pros......the questions section inside a live webinar helped with getting complaints from our members.

Cons: Had to cancel webinar whilst live, stream did not work. Called support, was told there was nothing they could do. Spoke to a tech guy for 1h30m - 'Catastrophic failure' he said. Didn't refund the cost of reputation to our customer base and marketing spend on generating buzz leading up to event.

Pros: We use this tool to give presentations to our clients for monthly tutorials.
There are plenty of features to give effect training.
The product can handle a large number of users at a time without any technical difficulty.

Cons: Pricing is on the more expensive side.
Can be a little confusing at the beginning with all the various features.
Some features such as switching between users is difficult.

Pros: Super easy to use on multiple platforms, appreciate its usability on MAC and tablets as well; Simple set up and very easy to explain to even the most basic computer users; never have issues with lagging/sound, etc...any issues are easily fixed by customer support.

Cons: I don't see the capability to do polls during webinars...would be a great way to get the audience involved.

We tested GoToWebinar and found it has a few benefits that GoToMeeting doesn't have.

Pros: GoToWebinar has some benefits that appeal to us when conducting online webinars. For example, GoToWebinar has the ability to mute all participants so someone can't accidentally chime in during a webinar presentation. GoToWebinar also has the ability to play videos and also push that sound out to participants. GoToWebinar also has a reservation option whereby people can register ahead of webinar time.

Cons: The cost is more than double that of GoToMeeting. However, the additional cost might be worth it for the additional options.

GoToWebinar is a great product for webinars, if you want a solid system backed by a solid company

Pros: What I like most about GoToWebinar is the value for the money. We've been On24 customers, and I find GoToWebinar every bit as functional as On24, but MUCH CHEAPER. Sure, it doesn't have all of the bells and whistles, but it has just about everything I and my clients need.

Cons: I'd like to see Quick Polls added. I like to be able to ask the audience if they get an idea, on the fly, without it being part of a pre-arranged poll . On24 had this feature, and I really liked it.

Pros: GotoWebinar makes collaboration with remote users easy and effective. The moderator shares their screen - this is broadcast to multiple attendees on their screens in their location. Attendees can be in "listen only" mode, or unmuted for open dialogue.

Attendees can log on via their PC, MAC, tablet or smartphone.
Smartphone users who drop out of Wifi have the option to dial-in via their mobile/cell phone network.

Have used this software many times...works well!

Pros: It is super easy to execute a webinar campaign from planning to hosting to follow up. GoToWebinar has a lot of great and easy to use functions, such as reports, recordings.

Pros: I like that it is so easy and intuitive to use that I have no problem using it on my own without having any training.

Cons: It would be nice if there is an official way to join the webinar via web browser, since many webinar registrants have expressed their difficulties of installing GoToWebinar due to company firewall or other settings.

Pros: It's a feature rich product and easy to use. I love working with that and most of the webinars that I attend are using GoToWebinar as well.

Cons: It could remind you by text that your webinar is within an hour. Sometimes I miss my webinar which is due to my busy schedule.

Pros: I love the fact that all registrant emails are auto generated, saving time from having to manually create these emails and workflows in Hubspot. Speaking of Hubspot, yes, it integrates with HS! Love it!

Cons: Pricing can be a factor just depending on your budget but over the software provided enough value to justify in budget!

Pros: Easy to set up a webinar, automate emails, and practice before you go live. Their customer support was splendid, although the problem I had couldn't be fixed.

Cons: Not being able to record your video. You can't present with a video and then have a nice recording, the size will be too small.

Overall: Set up webinars that resulted in many leads for clients. It integrates nicely with other software we are using, that's helpful!

Pros: I love the ability to participate in webinars with individuals from all over the world, make communicating and sharing information much easier

Cons: When the feed times out or there is lag in the feed. As a viewer it seems to be a little difficult for new users to get things going the first few time

Pros: We recently switched to this product since our last product could not handle the load of our growth. Best clarity on calls. No lag, no static. Great for meetings in large rooms.

Overall: No longer need to hand up and dial in again for static to go away.

Pros: Basic functionality is fine; it's easy to organize a webinar and invite participants. It's relatively intuitive to figure out.

Cons: Lack of support of playing recordings within a webinar. Lack of ability to customize questions in registration (we run through a third party to do that). Limited ability for sharing webinar responsibility. The team setup is clunky, and it's frustrating to switch between people who rarely (but occasionally) need to use it.

Overall: It allows us to setup both webinars and smaller meetings with screenshare.

GoToWebinar gets the job done, but setup and navigation are not the best.

Pros: I like that you can copy previous webinars, use your own branding. The automated emails are very helpful. They continue to make improvements to the tool which is great. I also like the reporting that the provide with every webinar.

Cons: The actually GoToWebinar panel (when you're in the webinar) is touchy and some things are hard to see and use which can be especially frustrating when you are in the middle of a live webinar. The UI has been updated recently, but still has a ways to go.

Overall: We are able to use GoToWebinar for both customers and prospects for training and marketing purposes. We can easily host webinars with a relatively small team.

Pros: The feature we like best is the audience interaction and the ability to practice the webinar before it happens live.

Cons: At first, if you aren't used to it, all of the nice features can be overwhelming. But that goes away once you practice and build one.

Overall: The webinar software we were using was not large enough to accommodate some of the new marketing techniques and campaigns that we wanted to launch. So we tried GoToWebinar and it is very nice. It could be a little overwhelming with all of the features but once you try it (a nice feature is the "practice" mode) it works great. You can record the webinar and play it back plus use MP4 videos to share during the webinar.

Cannot capture phone numbers from prospects who download recordings

Pros: Recurring meeting feature in the GoToMeeting suite is why I still use GoToWebinar.

Cons: Cannot really use the recordings for marketing, since it does not require a phone number to gain access. I have a staff member research them, which is not very cost effective.

Overall: One benefit of webinars is doing phone follow-up to attendees. However, GTW does not require a phone number in order to get the recording, so those prospects cannot be called. You only get phone numbers from those who register. If you want to use webinar recordings on a website or in a promotional piece, you will not like that you cannot require prospects to provide a phone number before gaining access to the recording.

Pros: It sends your recorded webinar to you via email when you are done. So helpful and efficient!

Overall: I have recently started using GoToWebinar for company webinars and it is a breeze to learn and use. It is very intuitive and it gives you instructions as you are using it which makes it that much easier to pick up.

Overall: Utilizing Go TO Webinar for building prospect base in a rapid form. It is good to get a room full of people remotely. I see it as a growing benefit for our prospecting and training growth.

Overall: I used GoToWebinar briefly in one of my businesses, and found it very good at its core function, but felt limited in administrative functions, and difficult to set up and operate multi-presenter webinars. (most webinar services are the same in this respect). I felt, however, that the pricing structure was a bit excessive for a small business only occasionally using webinars.

Recommendations to other buyers: If you're a bit more of a techie, there are one-time purchase options and free tools that can achieve most of the needed functionality. But if you prefer a managed solution, GoToWebinar is among the best answers, albeit a bit costly.

Comments: I've used Goto Webinar both as a presenter and also as an attendee - and the experience on both ends was fantastic. Setting up webinars was simple, and attending webinars was too. I couldn't recommend this software any more highly for its ease of use, features and it also represents amazing value for money.

Comments: This is the most fun we could have with a webinar. We get polls, comments, discussion groups, we can even tell who's paying attention! We do one-hour webinar training with lots of q and a and have greatly increased our attendance with the use of GoToMeeting. users log in and can view the webinar from wherever they are and interact as usual. it's an important part of our field which is spread across the state and hs a hard time getting away for much more than an hour or so.

Cons: not much customization

Overall: I've been using GoToWebinar for over 2 years. I like the ease of use, but customization is very limited. We integrated it with HubSpot and use HubSpot's email distribution and Landing Pages for webinar promotion.

Recommendations to other buyers: I would advise to use this platform but with integration to other marketing software for promotion and branding purposes.

Pros: Presentation tools that allow you to easily give a professional webinar. Mute, hand raise, chat, Q&A, panel options, and recording all make this the best presentation software around. They also have a dry run feature which allows you to work out any kinks before going live to an audience.

Cons: The price was a bit high, but you get what you pay for. I was also disappointed I couldn't pay one subscription for the Citrix/GoTo suite. (at least that's what I was told by customer service)

Overall: We use GoToWebinar to give presentations to an audience. We had originally used GoToMeeting and found that if you truly want a presenter to audience setup, you have to go with GoToWebinar.

Comments: Use this tool weekly for showcasing new features and options to prospective customers. Has an open API which can be used to integrate with other systems as needed. Provides an option to have more than one presenter and easy to switch between the presenters. Reporting is excellent and tracks the interest levels of the participants!

Pros: Cloud Based. Easy to Setup & use.

Cons: Can be a bit pricey, Many free screen sharing tools available.

Comments: Found the app to be very easy to use. Allows for easy set-up of a webinar and the sign-up page looks professional. The connection is always clear with no lag, additionally the software has some handy features for presenters such as screen selection and features around highlighting with your mouse. Moreover, the ability to record webianrs for future re-use is also useful. Overall if you want to run professional webinars this is great.

Pros: Excellent feature set. Great software with no lag/bugs. Good compatibility across devices. Professional look and feel.

Cons: Doesn't allow for he landing pages to be customised enough, would like more options around typography and background.

Comments: I've used this for 2 to 3 webcasts a month for several years now. The recent (late 2014) roll-out of an entire new feature set really brought GoToWebinar to the top of web conferencing usability. Highly recommended.

Pros: Ease of event setup, source tracking and excellent in-conference capabilities. Running events is fairly simple.

Cons: Registration landing pages are not flexible and are very confining.
