Pros: There is one thing that really sets GoToWebinar apart from the competition in my opinion. First, if you subscribe to GoToWebinar Pro, you can pre-record and fully automate your webinars. If you run webinars in a timezone that's 12 hours behind or ahead of you, it's a HUGE lifesaver to be able to record a webinar a month in advance and have a fully-automated version of it run during the middle of the night when you're sleeping warm and happy at home. There's zero manual input required to run a recorded webinar which is amazing. Simply schedule the webinar, invite people to attend, and it's all done for you! Do see my note below regarding the one downside to recorded webinars with Goto.

In general, GoToWebinar seems to have the largest number of native integrations (integrations that don't require you to cobble something together with a third-party API connector).

From every other standpoint, I'd say GoToWebinar is on par with most solutions out there.

Cons: There are some quirks related to the setup of webinars that can be a bit frustrating and the customization of the webinar landing pages and emails is so minimal that it might as well be non-existent. Basically you slap your logo on the email and that's where the customization ends.

For recorded webinars, there's one big downside. You need to have the recording of the webinar done at the time that you schedule the webinar. This means that if you are planning to record a webinar in a month, you'll have to schedule the recorded version at a later date. We get around this now by hosting the recorded webinars one month after the original, however it would be much better if you could simply create a standard webinar, and change it to a recorded one after it's already been created.

A little pricey compared to some of the competition, but a LOT more affordable than others.

Overall: Great webinar tool that's supported by a huge number of other apps as well. The app performs reliably and has the added benefit that most people have used it so you rarely have to worry about people not being able to connect.

Pros: GoToWebinar was useful for conducting training webinars for large groups because of the ability to easily invite participants prior to the event, with the option to remind invitees of the event from an internal feature of the program. Following the webinar it was valuable to be able to access the roster of those who attended, along with their contact information. This was aided me in providing incentives to attendees and to follow up on the event. While conducting the webinar, the features within GoToWebinar allowed me to track who had their GoToWebinar window at the forefront of their screen (who was perhaps fully paying attention!), monitor and answer questions that came in through the question window, administer survey questions, and provide participants with downloads of PDF and Word documents.

Cons: As opposed to GoToMeeting, I did not like that (although it was easy to invite participants) each attendee had to register for the webinar rather than simply click on a link to access it. Many people did not receive a confirmation for this as the email was sent to their spam rather than to their inbox, causing a breakdown in communication.

Pros: GoToWebinar is a fantastic service if you're looking to present to a large group of people. You have the ability for your clients to interact with the seminar in the event that you want to make sure your employees attend the meeting. I have never had a GoToWebinar disconnect from the internet, even very poor connections can handle GoToWebinar. I have setup and hosted many different seminars and GoToWebinar has to be at the top of my list.

Cons: My cons come from troubleshooting GoToWebinars inside a restricted network. More than likely you'll have to make sure all your users can run GoToWebinar on their computers/laptops. This can raise questions if you're monitoring what sites are whitelisted on your network. There was also a big limitation on users accessing GoToWebinar with Group Policy restrictions. The launcher will more than likely trigger your policy if you limit the programs your employees are allowed to run. This only applies to users who run the software while on the domain. Otherwise GoToWebinar is a fantastic service.

Pros: What I liked most about GoToWebinar's software is that when we were putting together a presentation, it allowed us to invite hundreds of people. We were presenting to various sister hotels and knew we would have a large group that would exceed that of GoToMeeting's capacity, and I believe GoToWebinar had a limit of 1000 attendees at the time, which was more than we needed, but great to know we had the flexibility to invite more. It was also super helpful that attendees had to register to attend, allowing us to see exactly how many people were actually opening their invitations and interested in attending. Once we saw a general estimate of how many people would attend, we could tailor our presentation to make it more generic vs specific in order to address a larger group. The reporting functionality is by far the best feature for us as a sales team. We could see who came, who did the polls, how interested the attendees were, and poll results. It was eye opening for us to see that although we had a large turnout, the interest wasn't as great as we had expected. From that experience, we were able to analyze and re-evaluate the content of our next presentation based off of feedback we received.

Cons: I was a sales manager using the software so this didn't apply to me, but I do know that the GM did not like how expensive it was. He would often complain about the cost, but it wasn't enough for us to get rid of the software because we valued the information we gathered while using it.

Overall: GoToWebinar helped us edit the content of our presentations, pertaining to the feedback we gained from our attendees. It was fairly easy to use and our clients were all familiar with the software so we never had issues with them not knowing what to do when logging in.

Pros: From a business perspective, GoToWebinar works - with about 3-4 webinars per week, we rarely had a problem. It's a solid platform, and it just works. I also like that people can call into the webinar.

Cons: It's pretty ugly. It's one of those platforms where I have to spend a few days training a client how to use it. There's so many buttons and features tucked away. Competitors

It's also pretty expensive for most users, especially with alternatives like Facebook Live, Google Hangouts, etc.

Overall: Our goal with GotoWebinar is to connect with a massive audience (100-1000) and essentially sell them something. And a interrupt can be costly. The time and resources to get the leads to attend a live call is expensive. And if there's lag or breakdown in the connection, leads drop off and they won't buy. GoToWebinar's connection is consistent and once more, with 3-4 webinars a week - we don't see any downtime. It works!

Pros: We moved to GoToWebinar from GoToMeeting to save on costs. Though we've lost some features such as ability to draw on whiteboards, remaining set of features was sufficient for us. A pleasant surprise for me was ability to make surveys during the webinar as well as useful statistics available at the end (such as number of participants and survey results).

Cons: I had a few cases when the app hanged at the end of webinar so I was unable to save the recording. Also sometimes we needed to make some other attendees as presenter so he/she can share files and that was impossible.

Overall: Main benefit is still ability to conduct stable connection during my webinars and ability to interact with clients in effective way (including surveys)

Pros: We conduct about 2-3 webinars per month, soliciting both customers and prospects to our online events. We've run into some issues and difficulties, specifically around capturing, encoding, and accessing video but have enjoyed a positive experience overall. I love the fact we can capture registrations through our marketing automation platform and pass the registration details on to GoToWebinar via a simple application connector. The ease of use around integration makes for very easy setup, execution, and follow-up. The reporting features have gotten much better over the years, with the ability to glean helpful insights regarding things like attendee engagement much easier than they used to be.

Cons: The ability to brand your webinars is somewhat limited, with only a single template and limited information that can be provided for items like the opening screen attendees see while on hold. Similarly, the branding associated with reminder and follow-up emails is very limited, forcing us to use our our platform for promotion and follow-up.

Overall: GoToWebinar allows us to connect with customers in a way we would not otherwise be able to reach them, saving us thousands of dollars each year in training and support costs. Although coming with a somewhat sizable annual licensing cost, it's been a very cost-effective method for us to expand our reach to both current customers and prospects.

Pros: All the controls such as send out invitations, ending the webinar, managing the microphones, and video, running the screen presentation, switching screens when necessary etc and compatibility with Mac versus PC. Best technical support I have experienced, ever. Tech Support's team with whom I interacted exhibited knowledge, courtesy and spoke in easily understandable English. And I was on a freebie! I mastered the app with their help and concluded my webinar successfully. I have another on Tuesday next week.

Cons: Cost is high if you can only use it once or twice a year. Otherwise, the cost is competitive with the other similar apps I tried. I am thinking of ways to increase webinar marketing to spread the cost over multiple webinars. The basic cost of per month for a small company is OK if you use the tool every week. Medium and larger sized companies have other pricing options that appear reasonable considering the features and number of users.

Overall: I am able to do a complete webinar (never having done so in my life) in less than 24 hours. Feature rich with a well thought through design I do not think you can find better.

Pros: Go To Webinar is my go to platform for webinars. I think that they make it easy to schedule, and to enter details for registration, panelists, etc. I also think that the interface is easy for the audience to understand, especially enjoy the question box.

Cons: I think that there is really no flexibility in customizing the back end of your webinars. I would love to be able to ask people what country they come from, without forcing them to also pick a US state they're from (yes, this is a thing and a major problem when you have an international audience). It would be great if they customized the state dropdown menu for each country, or simply made it grey out when someone chooses a country that is not the US. I also think there are few options for logo or branding, and I really wish I could include hyperlinks in the description.

I have accessed webinars by using GoToWebinar. The system is easy to navigate as a participant.

Pros: It's easy to set up, attend, and invite others to a webinar. The reminder is automatically sent out to those who are registered to attend/participate. You have the option of listening via the computer on mute or calling in on the telephone. The webinar navigation bar for chatting and asking questions is simple. Uploading the PowerPoint is simple and accessible to those who attend the webinar.

Cons: The cost for this software/program is expensive for the smaller company. Because of the cost, it forces the smaller company to go with the free programs that are available that aren't as efficient.

Overall: Being able to engage others virtually in a presentation, webinar, or training session. You can reach multiple people at once and with video option you can see people who are presenting as if you were in the same room.

Pros: I like the landing pages they provide. They tend to get better registrations than the ones I create on my own. The reports are very informative too. They help the sales team a lot. It pretty much takes care of all the little things like emails, surveys, recordings and it is very easy to use.

Cons: Not a ton of direction when we started. I think that a little bit more training would have been helpful. It could be more interactive.

Overall: Starting to create and run webinars for my company took a lot of learning and a lot of effort. Thanks to gotowebinar it was not a difficult process. It helped a ton with everything from content, registrations, attendance, reporting, Pardot connector and increasing success over time. Overall we are happy with the service that we get from gotowebinar.

Pros: In the modern world gained popularity the way of the attraction of potential clients through webinars. We rejected this way of searching the clients for a quite long period of time before we met with GoToWebinar. They suggested us to try their product for free and we decided why not. And the very first result was fantastic! Through making the free presentation we attracted some clients which in prospect gain us a very good revenue. This software looks the modern and beautiful way, works without lags and have excellent employees which will always help you with pleasure.

Cons: There were some troubles to connect to the webinar from some countries. The internet connection was good enough, and everything else seemed fine too, but somehow they just could not connect. But then the supporting team did something and after that, we never faced this problem again.

Pros: As a User who would set up meetings or attend "webinars" presented by other industry professionals, GoToWebinar is the next generation of telecommuting. Directed to use this as an employee, this was an incredible tool to learn more from industry insiders and successful companies to be able to ask questions in real-time chat, participate in polls, and be able to revisit the "show" at later times. As the employer using this, GoTo was an immensely helpful tool in presenting our findings and creating the overall conversation locale for business meetings. Whether through live camera feed or screen share, this tool was incredibly helpful.

Cons: Without too many complaints, sometimes there were occasional hiccups in the start/beginning stages of a call. Once issues were discovered and "fixed" the show would go on without a hitch, but we could have run into a number of issues. That may be browser hang-ups, lack of video but with accompanying audio or vice versa, and seldom, lag. Overall, very efficient.

Pros: I love using GoToWebinar. Good quality of audio and video during webinars. GoToWebinar uses multiple connections at the same time, which I assume is the reason for this high bandwidth. Also, you can make a branded waiting room with your logo and a welcome message that members will see before the presentation begins. It has been a perfect training tool for our customer success team. I would recommend ensuring that you should buy a good quality microphone and recording set up so that the recordings that are produced are the best quality they can be.

Cons: I would like for there to be more options to interact with the presenter. Also, the polling questions design is functional, but no flexibility to change the design. At rare times it is glitchy with the audio when there are more than several panelists.

Pros: I like the ease and usability of this program. It has always been a pleasant experience when using webinar. I receive an email, accept the invite and the appointment automatically loads into my calendar. This helps me organize my day so I can devote the appropriate time to the webinar appointments. This program has always ran smoothly for me once I have been able to login.

Cons: My one concern is logging in via my mobile phone. This has always been a struggle for me. No matter how I try, I cannot log in as instructed. The only way k have been able to log in had been via calling in. This isn't particularly convenient when I am on the road. Besides this, webinar had been quite efficient for me.

Pros: Attendees connect in muted mode. Attendees can join before the meeting has started.

Presenters can share screen and record. Recorded webinars can be converted to movies and shared on websites.

The system reports on the users attentiveness so you can see how effective the presentation was.

Simple to start up and connect to meeting for attendees.

Easy method to unmute a participant so they can speak and ask a question.

Question system has handy option to just reply to that one customer or you can reply to all.

Cons: You can't disable features like raising hand, which has no real purpose that I can see.

If something goes wrong it can be difficult to know. E.g. how can you know if the audio stops or if you forgot to share your screen. (some of this is user error).

As you often share your screen the window is a bit cluttered. Ideally you need two computers. One to connect share screen the other to administer the webinar.

Overall: Hosting monthly webinars with customer with an easy sharing and connection method.

Pros: It costs the invitee nothing and I rarely have trouble getting connected. This keeps me from having to drive to the city to be in a meeting. We can join learning sessions from the comfort or home or office. It is a good way for my clients to have me join their "events" so I can support them better.

Cons: Some webinars are easier to participate in than others and being only the user and not the driver, that might be a function of how they have set up the session. I don't deliver them myself so I'm not sure how everything works behind the curtain. Sometimes we can see each others and other times we cannot.

Overall: I get an easy experience that encourages me to join a meeting or a learning opportunity via the internet.

Pros: There are so many things I like but highlights for me are the great control panel that lets me see the attendees behaviour, the reporting feature that shows who was interested, the recording function that lets me share and finally the stability and reliability that I can count on. Cons: Maybe a few more local dialling codes for more countries could be useful.

Pros: On my opinion Webinar is a great service with a lot of interesting features. At first, it allows you to conduct webinars without delay in the broadcast. Secondly, it's constantly developing new tools for solving your problems. I use GoToWebinar in several ways related to my project. Sometimes I present free webinars as a sales tool to introduce prospective clients to my workshops. Also, I make the recordings of these sessions available to the participants to replay later. I've had to call support on several occasions, and I appreciate the fact that it's available 24/7.

Cons: If speak about cons, then I don't have what to say. Generally, a program working good and gives good opportunity, but the design is poor and no customization. Private pop-up notifications when questions are received by attendees, I sometimes miss new questions if I'm viewing the attendee list.

Pros: The organization I work for has recently started selling out for certain events due to the size of our conference room so we decided streaming the presentation for people so they could still be apart of it. So far we have had no issues- everyone can hear well and the process seems to be very easy for anyone to figure out. Once we register someone we put in their email and send them the webinar info and they can join the webinar. I like that they are able to interact even when they aren't there, they can ask questions through chat and do different polls. You can have many different users join and I think they love the fact that can all interact.

Cons: The cost is high so I suggest only purchasing if you will use it more than a few times a year. If you are only needing to conference call with a few people I would stick with gotomeeting. It could use a little re design as well.

Pros: When registering, it provides you with everything you need to get connected - the phone # to dial in, the access code, and audio code. Tools to use once entered are easily viewed and straight forward.

Cons: As an admin who also participates in webinars, the software does not do a good job of distinguishing the difference. When logging in as a participant, it will set you as the organizer and take the controls away from the actual organizer.

Another oddity is sometimes the audio controls don't work and you have use a different string of commands to activate.

Pros: The pricing structure is just simple. You get everything (webinars, meeting rooms, and free audio. The UI is incredibly easy to use. It also comes with attendee lists and basically attention meters that tell who paid attention.

Cons: The big downside is that your attendees have to download a software, which can be a problem for some enterprises. It also does not working with smartphones nor tablets, so users have to be on desktops.

Overall: Video conferencing, private rooms, hosted webinars, a good deal of attendee space

Pros: Running a webinar is a fairly easy process in GoToWebinar. It doesn't take too much setup, depending on how custom you want your webinar, and running the webinar itself is intuitive. The GoToWebinar dashboard during the webinar is pretty easy to navigate and doesn't require too much training beforehand to learn how to use.

Cons: We've run into occasional compatibility issues both on the attendee side and the administrative side. We'll get complaints from attendees of not being able to see or hear a presentation, though not very often. On the administrative side, there are occasional issues of broadcast quality not being great, though this is rare.

Clunkier than it should be, but likely still one of the best Webinar options out there.

Pros: Basic functionality is fine; it's easy to organize a webinar and invite participants. It's relatively intuitive to figure out.

Cons: Lack of support of playing recordings within a webinar. Lack of ability to customize questions in registration (we run through a third party to do that). Limited ability for sharing webinar responsibility. The team setup is clunky, and it's frustrating to switch between people who rarely (but occasionally) need to use it.

Overall: It allows us to setup both webinars and smaller meetings with screenshare.

Pros: With GoToWebinar, what the interlocutor says is truly respected. Everyone has the opportunity to talk and comment on their points of view. The tool allows effective conferences, internal chat and focused conversational topics. Promotes communication, more when the work team operates remotely.

Cons: It is important that GoToWebinar notifies you when the microphone device is on, it is not clear if it is closed or dirty and if unexpected events occur.

Pros: I've used it with paid and Free version. It allows you to have meetings, conferences, webinars etc. I've used it to have meetings and I plan to use it for webinars for my online business as well! You can record the whole meeting, you can write notes, draw on the screen, share screens, you can call/dial in if you don't want to speak over the online portal. Its easy to use, very convenient, professional, nice interface tools.

Cons: The interface is cool, BUT when you are in a meeting, there is an X in the floating box that is your meeting, and if you open the chat, I sometimes think, if I click that X will it close my chat or the whole meeting!? So, I always have anxiety about that dang X. I wish the interface would be a bit more specific. Of course, Free version is limited. You can have like only 3 people in a meeting, no support,

Pros: The idea is good. And when it works, there is nothing to complain about. The problem is that it only works about 50% of the time, and it takes a lot of effort and time to set it up, which no one ever anticipates so we always have issues with users being unable to connect...

Cons: The sound is glitchy, it takes FOREVER to install required software and connect to a webinar, and our employees have reported sound issues any way we try it. If you can get it to work, it's fine. But that is a risk we are not willing to take. We have gotten halfway through webinars before only to find that our remote employees are not even able to hear us...

Overall: When it worked, it was functional and semi-easy to use.

Pros: What I like most about this software is how it allows the users to easily be invited and from the viewpoint of those in the webinar have the ability to interface quite easily with the person or persons leading the seminar. It is very easy for those who have never used Webinar software before to understand how to use it when invited to do so even if they have not had much exposure to attending a webinar or even setting one up. This makes it very useful for the person holding the webinar and it saves a lot of time as the meeting is able to start sooner.

Cons: What I like least is some of the functionality controls that this software has. For example, let's say I were to maximize my screen to the webinar screen, I am not always able to easily minimize it without using specific key bard shortcuts or buttons like the escape key. I feel like there could be some more easily accessible user options, but all of the functionality I need is there and is accessible. Overall it is a great product and this is not something that would stop me from using it, but better tools and options buttons/tabs would be nice to see in newer versions.

Pros: It's excellent to divide training among several instructors. As a participant you get to participate and even ask your questions without interrupting the training.

Cons: It has a limited amount of participants per Webinar, 25 total, which forces you to create multiple sessions to allow everybody to be in the training. Q&A seems from the participants perspective confusing since you never get to see that other participants are asking questions.

Overall: It's really good and easy to use, specially if you are familiar with GoToMeeting software.

Pros: Very easy to use. It's easy to send out the link and have large numbers of people click into it without trouble. Being able to have multiple presenters in different locations is huge when you work at a company with people all over the place. This can get a little confusing if it's not planned out beforehand but that is 100% user issue and nothing to do with the software. There is also a feature where you can have people "raise their hands" either to get a response to a question you are posing or if they have a questions. There is also a chat box for this.

Cons: Aesthetically it is a little dated looking but that doesn't affect the functionality. If your internet connection isn't strong there will definitely be a lag but all presentation software has that.

Pros: GoToWebinar is one of the most reliable webinar platforms I've used. I recently switched to WebinarJam because I was intrigued by the additional features and better pricing but I switched right back. WebinarJam looked great but had tons of connectivity issues. Pros: We have partners spread out over a vast region, and this software allows us to all connect for training, educational presentations, etc. It's been a big help in saving time and money to conduct training seminars that is available to everyone electronically, rather than traveling to their areas for the same materials.

Cons: I don't really have many "cons" for the software. It took a little bit of training so that all the users know how to use it initially.

Pros: Our organization uses this for our webinars, and it works well for this role. Sharing screens, files, and reccording the session are all very easy and reliable.

Cons: The limitation we see is that sometimes the sheer amount of options on the right hand panel during the webinar can be confusing to manage during a live webinar. Very technical in this aspect.

Pros: It's reliable. We were previously using Skype, which frequently had breakdowns and made it a hassle for users to either access a webinar, or would simply perform poorly during the webinar. It was a risk we weren't willing to take after a few webinars. Furthermore, the reporting helps you learn about the content of your presentation and how engaged users were throughout, providing you with actionable data for future webinars. Audience polling and questions are also very easy on the end-user side.

Cons: It's a little expensive for a smaller company who may only host 4-6 webinars a year. That said, the ease of use could make it worth the cost, depending on the reliability of your current software. The branding of some of the emails also leave a little to be desired.

Pros: We use GoToWebinar on a monthly basis to host a company-wide meeting. It has been reliable and does what we need it to do. We employ several different computers during this time. One that hosts the webinar, one that has the webcam running, and run we join to moderate. It's kinda a mess, but it works! So far there haven't been any major issues and we've been running these monthly for quite some time. It really helps remote employees feel they are a part of these company updates.

Cons: I can't really say there are any major cons with GoToWebinar, at least not that I can recall at this time. Most issues we've had can't be solely blamed on GoToWebinar. Usually it's just weird compatibility issues or little one-off blips in connectivity from time to time.

Pros: Ease of use. The first time I used it for a client, I had no difficulty understanding what to do and how to do it (and I'm not overly tech savvy). In fact, multiple members of our client teams use the webinar software on a monthly basis with no trouble whatsoever.

Attendees also have little to no difficulty figuring out how to use the webinar software (clicking on their link) or join the webinar.

Best of all -- free trial without having to punch in credit card digits. The free, 30-day trial is the way to go, as it will reinforce the product's ease of use.

Cons: We've had some difficulty branding webinars using GoToWebinar, and their templates, which SIMPLE to use, don't necessarily reinforce company branding in the smartest way.

Pros: Every time I assisted a webinar held with this tool, I was able to enjoy perfect connection, good audio, no delays or "hiccups" and quality screen sharing sessions. I also believe that the fact that you have to download a tool and install it in your computer pushes you to commit to the webinar more than if it was just held online, and also to focus on it (plus, the host can even force full screen on the attendees).

Cons: Sometimes the chat boxes can get confusing, but if this is properly explained by the hosts then it usually is not a problem (people chatting in the QA box, or posting questions in the chat one). I also would love to be able to see the questions ahead of time in the QA when people ask them, so far all webinars I attended only show the questions after they have been answered or as they are being discussed.

Pros: Very easy to use, interface a bit simple but very easy to handle. I have webinars once a week and whenever i use this platform i am sure that is going to be smooth without any problems. Sound during webinar is clear. To manage webinar is simple, you can record, upload files, presentations, switch between different preseters. So if you're looking for easy way to set up webinar, you should defenetely choose this platform, it has all features what you may need.

Cons: Nothing I would complain about. Once I had a little delay with log in process, but it could be due to internet connections and never repeated after.

Cons: The whole process of entering and using (user interface) could be improved and be more easy to use. Also, it has some bugs on mobile.

Pros: We use GoToWebinar for any support from certain software companies and it works just great. They are able to logon to my machine and see exactly what the problem is and fix it. This is a definite plus for our company.

Cons: I have no cons with this software, it works just like it should.

Pros: I've been using this for a couple year. I really like how easy it was to start a webinar in seconds. They also have a mobile app which is a great help! Most of my viewers are using their mobile devices to attend the webinar

Cons: Sometimes, some of my viewers who are using MAC said that they are having a problem with writing a message in the chatbox. When they are typing a message, the cursor lost its focus and they need to click the chat box again to continue writing. Maybe it's a compatibility issue with their device.

Overall: I can always stay at home while teaching other people anywhere in the world. It really helps a lot.

Pros: If you are looking for reliability and stability, then Gotowebinar is your platform, especially if you deal mostly in the B2B market. Gotowebinar seems compatible with most organization's firewalls and I never had an issue with a participant having troule logging in. It contains all the basic features for running webinars such as screen sharing, web cam and both a chat and question box for people to engage with you.

Cons: This software could use an upgrade. It has basically looked the same year upon year, which isn't bad per se but the competition continues to add features that Gotowebinar seems slow to adopt.

Pros: This has all the offerings of GoToMeeting, but it allows up to 2000 attendees on one call. That's more than I could probably even recruit for an event!

You can create custom registrations for each attendee, administer polls and surveys, and share recordings of the webinar after it has concluded

Cons: This is a much more expensive option than GoToMeeting, and if you don't need the added perks (more people on one call, hosted recordings, polls and surveys) then it is probably not worth the increase in cost.

Overall: This is almost the same as GoToMeeting, which is a great webinar hosting service. It has the added benefit of hosting recordings of the calls.

Pros: I love that you can easily schedule and send out invites for a webinar. I also love the ability to have multiple organizers who can answer questions for the presenter so that he/she can focus on the presentation they are giving without having to stop for questions continuously.

Cons: My least favorite thing is that when you are answering questions for a webinar every time a new question comes in from anyone it removes your cursor from the response box. When a lot of questions are coming in it becomes very difficult to type with any degree of speed since you need to repeatedly click back to the box with every question that comes in.

Overall: It allows us to quickly and easily organize a webinar and invite our clients and prospects to attend. It also allows for easy presentation and question answering throughout the webinar.

Pros: When I oversaw my company's weekly webinar we always used GoToWebinar to talk about particular topics within our industry. The software was pretty easy to set up, multiple admins could listen in and control different aspects of the live presentation, and the quality was always pretty good.

Cons: This software will not be around in 5 years with the way Instagram and Facebook live are taking off. GoToWebinar has this huge protruding wall between the presenter and the listener, whereas Facebook and Instagram feels more personal and natural and honestly has about the same capabilities on their respective platforms.

Pros: I like the integration it has with HubSpot to allow me to quickly build lists based on who registered, who attended, and who did not attend. This speeds up my process when I'm sending follow up materials after the webinar is over.

Cons: There have been a few instances where I've pressed the button to launch my webinar and for some reason it does not launch it. It's only happened about twice on two separate occasions which have caused a bit of panic because people were waiting for the webinar to begin. I had my IT next to me and we were both puzzled at why it wasn't launching. I believe I had to switch from computer audio, to the call in option, and then back to computer audio in order for the button to reappear and then launch successfully.

I also like how easy it was to be able to mute yourself or the person doing the webinar could mute a person if need be.

Cons: The issues I had with this software was that at times the connection was lost and that could have also been due to the internet so I can't blame it all on the software. Pros: Joining a webinar by phone is possible, even though in many cases it doesn't make much sense without picture (slides).

Cons: It seems to need some binary plugin (similar, but not identical to most-hated software flash) and not rely totally on HTML5, although competitors manage to do so. As a result, a commercial operating system is necessary, and installing any binary plugin always exposes the machine to security risks, so that many customers are hesitant to allow it. Pros: As someone that regularly attends webinars and occasionally hosts them, I appreciate the ease and lack of tech issues I have. The interface is relatively simple and easy to navigate and I like having the option to call-in for audio or use my computer speakers (makes attending webinars on mobile easier). For hosts, it's relatively intuitive when to use functions with multiple hosts.

Cons: From a host standpoint: It would be nice to have more customization or options when displaying your screen. From the attendee perspective: it would be nice to have notification or some way of knowing when a new question is asked.

Overall: Simple yet effective, and the email invitations make it clear to participants how and when to access the webinar.

Pros: I first encountered GoToWebinar on a blog site/newsletter I was already following, from a source I was likely to trust and want to learn more from. I have encountered several webinars through them since, from fine arts marketing to writing classes, to spiritual/religious broadcasts, and even special needs interest seminars. It is a terrific tool for accessing audio/visual media and content. The connections were smooth and reliable, could handle the demand of many hundreds of viewers at once, stored content for later review, and in some cases, allowed interaction.

Cons: I'm not a fan of filling my phone up with apps, so I deleted GoToWebinar for now, until I have need of it the next time.

Overall: very positive. I like webinars when it is a subject I am interested in. Would love the ability to pause, rewind and review, but you can't have everything, especially in a live broadcast.

Overall: I used GoToWebinar briefly in one of my businesses, and found it very good at its core function, but felt limited in administrative functions, and difficult to set up and operate multi-presenter webinars. (most webinar services are the same in this respect). I felt, however, that the pricing structure was a bit excessive for a small business only occasionally using webinars.

Recommendations to other buyers: If you're a bit more of a techie, there are one-time purchase options and free tools that can achieve most of the needed functionality. But if you prefer a managed solution, GoToWebinar is among the best answers, albeit a bit costly.

Pros: What I like most about GoToWebinar is the value for the money. We've been On24 customers, and I find GoToWebinar every bit as functional as On24, but MUCH CHEAPER. Sure, it doesn't have all of the bells and whistles, but it has just about everything I and my clients need.

Cons: I'd like to see Quick Polls added. I like to be able to ask the audience if they get an idea, on the fly, without it being part of a pre-arranged poll . On24 had this feature, and I really liked it.
