Pros

Simple to use and integrates well with CRM software, making meetings, management, and marketing webinars straightforward.

Cons

Features and background options are limited compared to newer options although value for money is not impacted per se at the free level.

Guide Marketing I incorporate webinars as a fundamental aspect of my value delivery to clients and acquisition of new clients. On the event management part, GoTo Webinar is dependable and supports gathering registrations, reminders, live sessions, file sharing during the presentation. The cost is higher than what I would run based on the size of operation I operate, but the professionalism that it brings to the client facing events is well justified.

Pros

It used to be a lot of a gamble hosting a live client webinar without technical hiccups. GoTo Webinar alleviated nearly all of that fear during my initial event via it.

Cons

There are very limited background choices as a marketing professional. At this price, I want a tool that has more visual flexibility with my brand directly depending on the quality of the presentations.

GoToWebinar is a run-of-the-mill webinar platform that delivers a standard experience. While it does exactly what you expect at best, it can derail events at worst. Common audio and video issues led us to navigate away from this product, which was disappointing given the time we had invested into learning and integrating the product.

Pros

I like the ability to share documents uploaded for guests, enabling you to provide slides or relevant documentation for the event.

Cons

Audio/Visual technical issues and errors caused us to evaluate and move forward with a competitor. the issues caused glitches and did not ever complete shut down a webinar, but it did affect client participation and professionalism.

Pros

The bugs that I was experiencing as a new user are no more since the vendor offered free support when I was customizing the features.

Coming from ON24, I was looking for a cheaper platform while not loosing all the main webinar features. GoToWeb fit the bill. Although it wasn't as customizable as the previous platform, it was easy to use and integrate into my CRM.

Pros

The learning curve to get familiar with the platform was relatively short. Easy integration with HubSpot.

Cons

The features are basic but useful. It didn't have all the bells and whistles of my previous platform, ON24.

The most like thing about GOTO is we can join the webinar via email and they will inform me one hour earlier and 5 minutes earlier.

Cons

I can not send out the signup form to others who wants to join the webinar. No options to send the webinar invitation.

Using the same platform for internal meetings creates a standardized experience. Everyone knows how to log in, share, and interact, leading to more efficient and less distracting meetings.

Pros

One of the key strengths about Webinar It's incredibly easy for every employee to join and us. It just needs a single click on a link, which reduces frustration and technical support issues compared to complex software. I like the fact I can text every staff person whether it’s one person or more at one time. It’s very intuitive, simple and easy to use.

Cons

Overall I’m very pleased but if I have to pick one thing that I like least would be at times it seems to be a little slow loading on our system.

Seems like every other viewer except...see Cons. Overall it is fine. It's making me type more words to meet 100 characters so...

Cons

I cannot stand how the page darkens at the bottom when I move the mouse. Why? It obscures the material that some of us actually read. Also, the volume is extremely quiet - I don't remember that from previous webinars so it may be just today's, but it needs more volume.

It has been an invaluable help to our Customer Success group. Also, our marketing and CS specialists have been able to plan together with us a GTW that shows and educates our users about new features in an agile and simple way. Because GTW makes it possible for attendees to ask questions, we were able to really dive into the training courses with several colleagues at once and then come out with a record that we can distribute to all customers. GTW fully understands our abilities: confidential attendee list, ability to troubleshoot and quiz, excellent audio and video quality. I like using GTW.

Pros

Quick and easy to use, so any member of our staff can attend at any time with less than five minutes of experimentation. Creates an anonymous named scope, so that our clients' suppliers can be trained without affecting the scope of competence that our clients require. Provide a voting venue so that users of our products can choose what they would like to see next, which supports the training courses we provide. It gives us the ability to preserve training lessons that we can distribute to customers anywhere, anytime.

Cons

We allow specialists to answer questions, initiate censuses, etc. - Give specialists more versatility. Let us schedule it for a web course with a similar theme that lasts several months at a time, without the need for all those listed to be on the same landing page. Sometimes I am left with new doubts when I look at the list of attendees.

We do alot of training work and since we have multiple branches across the country, GoTo Webinar allows us to do these trainings virtually. Its excellent engagement functions allows us to experience the same effectiveness as we would if we are doing the training physically.

Pros

GoTo Webinar interface is intuitive and easy to learn and understand for anyone. In fact, we were able to setup our first webinar without needing any IT assistance. It is super secure and has always safeguarded all our data and those of our audiences from any form of security breaches. It offers large virtual rooms which allows us to host larger number of audiences during our training sessions. We have never had a boring webinar with GoTo Webinar thanks to the audience engagement functions that allows us to engage freely with them.

Cons

I have never experienced any dull experience with GoTo Webinar for all the times that i have used it.

Mostly it is used by our organization to receive information, however the times I have used it for presentations I have found it straightforward to organize information for presenting and easy to track and notify attendees.

Pros

Go to Webinar is easy to use, especially if the software is already installed on your device. When you are having back-to-back meetings, you need the ability to log-in quickly, not wait several minutes for software to download. In a matter of seconds, the webinar is streaming on whatever device I am using. It was an easy add in to use for our business and a popular platform that our customers are comfortable using. Voice clarity is always good and you do not have to strain to hear the speakers. The ability to join with a url link is a definite plus as well.

Cons

It would be helpful if there were more metrics used to gather participant data so you could sort the data by more categories (example: dates viewed). Often reminder emails end up in Spam rather than their inbox so they miss the webinar. There are lags with slow internet connections, however that is not necessarily Go to Webinar’s fault.

Pros

As there are very good option available on Goto Webinar but we like most is Screen sharing where easily we can share our laptop, desktop, smartphone or any other screen.The USP of the product are Meeting drawing tools available ,can connect meeting on mobile ,Custom backgrounds available.

Cons

Team sometime observed the glitches during video presentation. Sometime screen showing black while presenter share their screen.

Overall, VERY positive! It's an excellent tool that has continued to improve over the past few years and has awesome reporting features that are required for the courses I use this software for. As with anything, there are a few things that could be added to make the program better, but in my opinion it's the best webinar software available.

Pros

GoToWebinar has so many different features available that allow you to create a custom event that fits all your needs. You can make your event unique before it starts by customizing your webinar descriptions, feature images, confirmation emails, registration pages, poll questions, handouts...the list goes on. But you can also make on-the-fly changes during your webinar by adding handouts, editing/adding poll questions, changing attendee permissions, and more.

Cons

GoToWebinar's registration confirmation emails frequently go to spam, and this issue causes me additional work. Pre-event, I have to reach out separately to attendees to confirm they received their link, and if not, manually copy/paste their webinar link and email it directly. I also frequently have to field calls and emails during the beginning of the webinar for registrants that don't have their link to join.

I enjoy the Goto mobile app because it enables me to remain connected to group conference calls even when my mobile network is unreliable. It uses less bandwidth and is meant to prevent interruptions during conference calls. I have access to a pdf tool that enables me to capture many sets of presentations at once during screen-sharing sessions.

Cons

When starting or joining video conference calls with the Goto web browser application, I frequently suffer significant latency. It frequently results in system problems, which are complicated if numerous participants attend a single conference.

The video and audio are of vey high quality. Super secure tool, you get the assurance that your data is in safe hands. The audience engagement makes our Webinars lively and interactive, gone are the days we would have boring functions. Screen sharing keeps my audience attentive as they’re able to follow up on what’s being presented. The recording feature helps me keep records and share them to teams who may have missed the Webinars also am able to store data for future reference. I like the quality of audio and video in GoTo Webinar. The audio is super clear and gives HD video quality to ensure everything is clearly understood during conferences. It supports multiple presenters at the same time which is very important during online events. It is super easy to join the webinar, just by adding the ID shared by the organizer and you are good to go. It has an option to create interactive polls which helps interact with participants to know their opinions. The ability to pre-record webinars before actually sharing them is amazing as it helps makes sure you only share the very best and perfect content.

When you host your event, all organiser controls are easily accessible. The right hand column contains everything, allowing you to switch between boxes to do any necessary function. Future events are now simpler to see at a glance thanks to the newly designed dashboard. An event may be easily created, and our email management system was seamlessly integrated. Another less worrying aspect of our webinar registration procedure is the automatic confirmation emails that are issued to registrants.

Cons

The cheapest package only permits for 100 participants, and there are no free versions available. One of the more annoying drawbacks is that a participant must be added as a host in order to share video. I've occasionally had problems with the scheduling tool as well.

Being an area manager for Africa, I have a huge task of making sure my team members all over Africa get training and hold meetings oftenly, truth be told I can not make it in person all over Africa but with GoTo Webinar, am Virtually present the whole of africa, and the best thing I can be present at the same time, I will just set up a webinar or a conference and am good to go. Screensharing option is very cool for trainers to share presentations for a catchy session. Video and audio quality is in HD, very nice and clear. Session recording is another feature I like, for future refrence and to share with those who missed the meeting or conference. Participants can ask questions on chats, this brings the sense of orderliness, where we avoid noisy meetings where everyone is talking at the same time. I can customize meeting invites with GoTo Webinar. Scheduling a meeting takes seconds, very fast and easy

Cons

I can go on and on for all the things I love about GoTo Webinar, I have not had any single dislike for all the years I have been a user

\- We can invite more people to join a live webinar before start the meeting. - It is vet easy to connect to webinar meeting. With a few simple clicks from an email we can connect to meeting without any interference and hurdles in between. - With the good speed of internet connection you can have a video with good call quality and clear vision. - You can record the session too for future use and train more people with the same recording without repeating those things twice. - Good software to conduct remote meetings with geographically distant colleagues. - We can share screen too, so that other people will get more idea about what we want them to understand. - You can transfer the rights of sharing of the screen too. - you can submit the feedback after end of meeting for better improvements.

Cons

\- This platform stuck and freeze more often compare to other remote meeting tools. - If you do not have an accurate internet connection, then there is no use of this tool. - The incident had happened to us that we were around 10 people in a meeting and not a single person was able to hear another person’s voice. Even after login and logout several times in tool. At last we had to switch that meets on another tool. - We have to wait outside the main meeting page if the organizer is late.
