GoTo Webinar has been around for a while as a top option for marketing webinars and, to a lesser extent, for meetings and online classes during the pandemic since newer alternatives/competitors quickly added more features.

Pros

Simple to use and integrates well with CRM software, making meetings, management, and marketing webinars straightforward.

Cons

Features and background options are limited compared to newer options although value for money is not impacted per se at the free level.

Guide Marketing I incorporate webinars as a fundamental aspect of my value delivery to clients and acquisition of new clients. On the event management part, GoTo Webinar is dependable and supports gathering registrations, reminders, live sessions, file sharing during the presentation. The cost is higher than what I would run based on the size of operation I operate, but the professionalism that it brings to the client facing events is well justified.

Pros

It used to be a lot of a gamble hosting a live client webinar without technical hiccups. GoTo Webinar alleviated nearly all of that fear during my initial event via it.

Cons

There are very limited background choices as a marketing professional. At this price, I want a tool that has more visual flexibility with my brand directly depending on the quality of the presentations.

GoToWebinar is a run-of-the-mill webinar platform that delivers a standard experience. While it does exactly what you expect at best, it can derail events at worst. Common audio and video issues led us to navigate away from this product, which was disappointing given the time we had invested into learning and integrating the product.

Pros

I like the ability to share documents uploaded for guests, enabling you to provide slides or relevant documentation for the event.

Cons

Audio/Visual technical issues and errors caused us to evaluate and move forward with a competitor. the issues caused glitches and did not ever complete shut down a webinar, but it did affect client participation and professionalism.

Coming from ON24, I was looking for a cheaper platform while not loosing all the main webinar features. GoToWeb fit the bill. Although it wasn't as customizable as the previous platform, it was easy to use and integrate into my CRM.

Pros

The learning curve to get familiar with the platform was relatively short. Easy integration with HubSpot.

Cons

The features are basic but useful. It didn't have all the bells and whistles of my previous platform, ON24.

The most like thing about GOTO is we can join the webinar via email and they will inform me one hour earlier and 5 minutes earlier.

Cons

I can not send out the signup form to others who wants to join the webinar. No options to send the webinar invitation.

Using the same platform for internal meetings creates a standardized experience. Everyone knows how to log in, share, and interact, leading to more efficient and less distracting meetings.

Pros

One of the key strengths about Webinar It's incredibly easy for every employee to join and us. It just needs a single click on a link, which reduces frustration and technical support issues compared to complex software. I like the fact I can text every staff person whether it’s one person or more at one time. It’s very intuitive, simple and easy to use.

Cons

Overall I’m very pleased but if I have to pick one thing that I like least would be at times it seems to be a little slow loading on our system.

Seems like every other viewer except...see Cons. Overall it is fine. It's making me type more words to meet 100 characters so...

Cons

I cannot stand how the page darkens at the bottom when I move the mouse. Why? It obscures the material that some of us actually read. Also, the volume is extremely quiet - I don't remember that from previous webinars so it may be just today's, but it needs more volume.

### "Deteriorating tech support on what was once an amazing service :("

We've used GoToWebinar for many years, going all the way back to the days when we had to use a Dynametric box hooked to our computers to record webinars (you couldn't record them off the screen). We've loved GoToWebinar, because webinars are an integral part of our business. Over the years, the tech support was phenomenal - live operators answering quickly when you call, and they were true experts in the software - we never waited for the very occasional hiccups to get fixed. Over the past 2 years, though, the technical problems now occur about twice a month - a recording stopping with no warning in the middle of the webinar, a presenter's phone line suddenly dying, stuff like that. When we call in, it's painfully obvious that the tech support folks are pretty new to GoToWebinar. They don't know the product, and as a result it takes twice or three times as long to talk with them, and too often the answer is "We're not sure why that happened." Today, I was told that GoToWebinar doesn't keep a record of the presenter's assigned phone number (that GoToWebinar itself sends out for us!), and it was my job to call my presenter and ask if by chance he kept the GoToWebinar email that shows the dial-in number he was sent. (And, I had to do it within 24 hours.) We've loved GoToWebinar, but we're actively looking for another product due to the huge dropoff in tech support now being offered.

Pros

GoToWebinar is very easy to use in setting up webinar sessions, adding dial-in numbers for other countries, and downloading both reports (Q&A, attendance) and the webinar videos. Also, the cost is very competitive compared to other webinar services.

Cons

Since LogMeIn purchased GoToWebinar a couple of years ago, we've experienced a huge increase in technical snafus - the audio line for presenters dropping without notice, the recording of a live webinar suddenly stopping in mid-session with no warning, etc. Despite our ongoing requests for tech support to fix these issues, they continue happening. Also, the new tech support teams that came on when LogMeIn bought the company don't seem to know the GoToWebinar product well at all. We can hear them on our tech support calls flipping pages looking for answers, and in many cases we've had to help them by giving them answers to questions such as where to find the Past Events on our account screens. :( We were told by tech support today that, because GoToWebinar has gone completely web based, the company has only a 24-hour window to track and fix any tech problems with a webinar before the data files for that live session disappear forever. Overall, we've noticed a huge drop off in tech support quality for a company that was once the gold standard for webinars. :(

We use GoToWebinar at least once a week and sometimes more. As a non-profit, we watch our dollars and GoToWebinar, although not the cheapest, is reasonably priced and includes an unlimited video library and a license for GoToMeeting. We have been using it since 2018 and it definitely provides the capability we need to present online meetings and events to our membership and beyond.

Pros

We chose GoToWebinar because it is a stable and secure platform. Webinars and events are easy to set up and it included GoToMeeting at no additional cost.

Cons

Since the pandemic, Zoom has become the standard and most presenters are familiar with Zoom and less familiar with GoToWebinar, so practices are usually required to familiarize the presenters. Attendees are also used to having reaction emojis, which are not included in GoToWebinar and a third party software is needed to add a different background.

It has many advantages. It has advanced interactive analytics features, very powerful integrations, a thousand people can participate in a standard event and up to a hundred thousand people in a GoToWebcast event. Seminars or events can be pre-recorded or live with very flexible programming. Payments can be received easily. The platform is secure and protects privacy. It has an analysis panel to track the performance of the events. It has automated functions to manage invitations, attendance and reminders. Certificates can be issued, materials or documents attached. It has high definition video and sound. It can be integrated with most subscription plugins. It has a practice mode and tools for session control. Excellent software!

Cons

It is expensive. You must register twice for each event. You have to download GoToMeeting. It is complicated to make presentations from a phone or tablet.

Since the adoption of Goto webinar in at the hospital I can say that we put our best foot forward to acquire it. I can attend workshops, conferences or even meeting without having to leave the the HDU/ ICU room. Soo Iam able to follow up on everything while taking care of my patients. Also with it I don't need an account to join the meetings. What an incredible tool. I really love it

Goto webinar simplicity is next level. It's intuitive interface makes it easy even for invitees to join the conferences from anywhere without struggles. I engage on any device may it be my desktop, phone or even tablet. Planning topnotch virtual events is also quite easy with it through the pre planning and event promotion through the Goto stage. Scheduling is flexible for one time events, series of events or even create demand for recorded webinars . One can quickly create a new event using inbuilt templates and previous settings and custom registration forms for invites. Branding of hospitals events for personalization by adding the logo and colour is of importance to us. During the webinar engaging with presenters is through the dahboards which happens asap , interactive polls and even virtually raising of hands to get the presenters attention. It also support multiple presenters who can share their webcams . Other than that the audio is excellent and visuals are in hd to give the maximum number of attendees and amazing experience during the meeting.Goto webinar also give insights on the attendance reports and overall goodness of events. Another feature I find interesting is it's integration power with most tools in our workspaces to enhance our experience

Cons

Go to Webinar guarantee us hassle free events because it makes events delivery soo easy. It is comprehensive in terms of event platform features making it the ultimate best solution in the market for us and anyone seeking to go virtual on hosting events of any size

Pros

I enjoy the Goto mobile app because it enables me to remain connected to group conference calls even when my mobile network is unreliable. It uses less bandwidth and is meant to prevent interruptions during conference calls. I have access to a pdf tool that enables me to capture many sets of presentations at once during screen-sharing sessions.

Cons

When starting or joining video conference calls with the Goto web browser application, I frequently suffer significant latency. It frequently results in system problems, which are complicated if numerous participants attend a single conference.

The video and audio are of vey high quality. Super secure tool, you get the assurance that your data is in safe hands. The audience engagement makes our Webinars lively and interactive, gone are the days we would have boring functions. Screen sharing keeps my audience attentive as they’re able to follow up on what’s being presented. The recording feature helps me keep records and share them to teams who may have missed the Webinars also am able to store data for future reference. Pros

I like the quality of audio and video in GoTo Webinar. The audio is super clear and gives HD video quality to ensure everything is clearly understood during conferences. It supports multiple presenters at the same time which is very important during online events. It is super easy to join the webinar, just by adding the ID shared by the organizer and you are good to go. It has an option to create interactive polls which helps interact with participants to know their opinions. The ability to pre-record webinars before actually sharing them is amazing as it helps makes sure you only share the very best and perfect content.

GoTo Webinar gives us a super excellent engagement and interaction platform capable to host large number of audience and we always benefit by reaching out to many people when running public awareness campaigns aimed at addressing issues with climatic changes and how to change the narrative of environment pollution at a personal level.

Pros

We use GoTo Webinar during our public awareness campaigns to host events online and we are loving the services we are getting from it. Mostly, it provides a good interaction and engagement space making it possible to have effectively interactive events with the public. We are able to host large numbered events allowing us to reach out to a large number of people. The video and audio quality are the best we have seen so far.

Cons

We always get what we need with GoTo Webinar and we have never struggled to facilitate our online events.
