Pros

GoToWebinar makes your webinar registration process much easier. It has very clean user interface. New user also can navigate GoToWebinar easily. It record our webinar automatically. we can execute polls smoothly. Attendee reporting is also good. GoToWebinar provide real-time data of attendees. Easy to share screen. compatible with all devices.

Cons

Email automaton feature is missing. We cannot use digital background. Need strong internet connection for using this tool.

overall this go to meeting recommended for enterprise, commercial and big company which need proper tools for meeting online and video conferencing, just try first in 7 day free trial, and next continue for the paid plan which has suit feature for your need.

Pros

there is free trial 7 days without submit credit card data first, this is favorable to test out how this go to webinar works. the video stream, chat and audio is clear and smooth.

Cons

not user friendly, first time use it more complicated, after used with it become supportive and helpful for the remote work.

I use this software to do a weekly webinar with our clients. Through this software, we can interact with a lot of people at the same time. They can ask us questions, and we can easily communicate with them and solve their queries. We are also using it to connect with our remote employees.

Pros

GoToWebinar is a fantastic tool to host online webinars. It is pretty straightforward to get started. You can sign up in the software very quickly and begin organising great webinars. The best feature which I liked the most about GoToWebinar is that we can send live questionnaire about the concept or theme of the webinar or we can directly talk to them about any issue faced during that time. In this manner, we get complete control over the webinar. There are cases when someone is not able to attend a webinar due to some reason. In GoToWebinar, we can have a recorded copy of the webinar directly stored in our dashboard and then, we can also share the link with the participants of the webinar who were not present at the time it was being broadcasted. They can watch them through that link. It automatically sends the webinar reminder to all the attendees just a few minutes before the webinar starts.

Cons

One thing which I would like to mention is to keep the chats scrolling automatically just like in the case of YouTube. Sometimes, when I am taking coding cases, I would like to see the code on the webinar attendee's screen to correct or debug the code. So, I would love to see a video conferencing type feature to be added.

Above all, it's a very good software. I love that it makes it easy to set up webinars on your mobile with little knowledge even if you've never done so before

Pros

I love the fact that you can set up a proper W webinar in minutes even with your mobile device and host the webinar with same. I also love the email notifications and reminders sent automatically to participants, it's very good

Cons

This is a great software but I feel it needs to be improved to be able to work on all browsers. Participants with certain web browsers cannot access webinars through their browsers. Also, I feel it should be less strict on the evergreen pre-recorded webinars as users late to the webinar should also be allowed to join as long as they registered for it, even if they came half way Into the training.

Excellent! We used GtW for years with great success. We had slightly improved registration/attendee ratios than alternative solutions.

Pros

The event management system worked really well. The handling of event registration and follow-up emails was great! GtW also integrated well with Pardot/HubSpot to capture registrants' contact info. GtW continued to improve over the last decade through multiple acquisitions.

Cons

There were two features in particular that I wanted but maybe didn't make sense for GtW's product. #1 - Host webcam video feeds overlapping shared screen. I wanted to have the option for hosts' video boxes to overlay the main GtW presentation screen instead of sectioned off in a separate frame. I wanted the option for the webcam video to be combined with the main presentation screen for reuse on youtube and other video-sharing services.#2 - Ability to simultaneously live-stream to Youtube and other video-sharing platforms (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin)

Overall, GoToWebinar is the webinar platform I've had the best user experience with. It's easy to access when I need it. It also seems very reliable; I haven't noticed issues happening on the organizer side that I sometimes see with other platforms.

Pros

GoToWebinar seems to work well across a variety of devices, and I have never had trouble joining a webinar I'm attending. I can always log in quickly, which is great when I have back-to-back meetings/webinars on my schedule (it doesn't take long to connect). The screen sharing and audio clarity has always been top-notch on the webinars I attend - I haven't run into any issues with content or audio cutting out or lagging like do with some other programs. GoToWebinar easily works for people at different companies, unlike some other services we use that only seem to work internally, or are much more challenging for external attendees to join.

Cons

The settings panel seems a little clunky/not the most intuitive the first few times using the system. It would be nice if the web version had the full functionality of the desktop version for even quicker access to webinars.

I loved GoToWebinar, it's easy to use and makes my job a snap.

Pros

I initially started with GoToMeeting for online learning seminars. We quickly had an audience that needed more "seats" so GoToWebinar was a natural choice. The platform is easy to use and navigate behind the scenes, but it still looks nice for the attendees.

Cons

I think a little more personalization would be nice, able to brand stuff more.

I've had an extremely positive and satisfying overall experience with GoToWebinar. It is very much user friendly, it provides many tools to use for engaging classes, meetings, or webinars. The offered settings are also quite helpful, and the audio and video quality are excellent from both ends.

Pros

The program is very easy to use, there are many tools to use and choose from. When screensharing, it works smoothly and perfectly. The audio and videos are very clear. Everything runs smoothly.

Cons

There's a time when I started using the program, some users complaint about sound delay and blurry audio on their end. However it's not certain if the software is to blame, it might be due to poor internet connection.

It is a great tool for delivering presentations/online trainings. I expect a software like this to be quick and stable. I have found all of these qualities in the GoTo Webinar.

Pros

GoTo is really a work from anywhere company and with this product you can also embrace this quality. Go To Webinar has always worked seamlessly, I would dare say effortlessly, without experiencing the regular hickups with similar software.

Cons

At first I did not really see why I should choose GoTo instead of Zoom or Teams. I am not sure how this could be fixed other than trying the product and seeing if it works better for you than the competition. There is a free trial after all

Pros

The interface is user friendly and controlls are very easay to find both for the host and audience. The dashboard shares a convenient overview of upcoming webinars and manage multiple events effectively. The audio and video quality is excellent thus enhancing the customer experience.

Cons

social media integration feature would enhance the product. An interactive whiteboard would be a next required feature.

Pros

The software was easy to learn and the user interface is intuitive. Features were easily accessible and icons were self explanatory to any person who grew up in the age of smart phones and the internet. I was able to launch the webinar without any prior training and hosted my very first webinar ever without a hitch. GoTo Webinar has the ability to keep track of attendees' engagement, record presentations, poll the audience, generate analytics, switch between presenters and speakers/ panelists seamlessly. The platform is also nice because attendees can join the webinar without downloading software, they just simply click on a link that can be emailed through an automated system or a traditional URL. We had attendees on mobile devices, tablets (ipads), etc. so it's a pretty versatile platform.

Cons

Some features can only be unlocked by increasing the membership tier. The basic subscription is already pretty pricey and does not have access to many of the "premium" features such as embedded videos and maximum number of attendees and available registration slots.

My experience with GoTo Webinar has been great. It is my go to tool for meetings and customer facing webinars / lunch and learns. Going through the pandemic this became my replacement for onsite visits where customers were not allowing on site visitation.

Pros

The software is great for ease of use, not having to download or buy any software to attend. Being able to switch users, share screens, and raise hands / ask questions while not interrupting the presenter.

Cons

It is more of a technical issue I have run into where launching the webinar sometimes things will get hung up and it will not connect. It would be nice if there was a purely browser based option for times where the launcher fails

GoToWebinar helped us edit the content of our presentations, pertaining to the feedback we gained from our attendees. It was fairly easy to use and our clients were all familiar with the software so we never had issues with them not knowing what to do when logging in.

Pros

What I liked most about GoToWebinar's software is that when we were putting together a presentation, it allowed us to invite hundreds of people. We were presenting to various sister hotels and knew we would have a large group that would exceed that of GoToMeeting's capacity, and I believe GoToWebinar had a limit of 1000 attendees at the time, which was more than we needed, but great to know we had the flexibility to invite more. It was also super helpful that attendees had to register to attend, allowing us to see exactly how many people were actually opening their invitations and interested in attending. Once we saw a general estimate of how many people would attend, we could tailor our presentation to make it more generic vs specific in order to address a larger group. The reporting functionality is by far the best feature for us as a sales team. We could see who came, who did the polls, how interested the attendees were, and poll results. It was eye opening for us to see that although we had a large turnout, the interest wasn't as great as we had expected. From that experience, we were able to analyze and re-evaluate the content of our next presentation based off of feedback we received.

Cons

I was a sales manager using the software so this didn't apply to me, but I do know that the GM did not like how expensive it was. He would often complain about the cost, but it wasn't enough for us to get rid of the software because we valued the information we gathered while using it.

Overall using GoTo Webninar is great.

Pros

GoTo Webinar is easy to use. You do not necessarily have to download a huge file to setup. It allows you to setup camera view in other to see attendees or even attendees to see you. You can set polls to engage your participants.

Cons

It consumes a lot of cpu when running via browser. I do not know how the team can work on this

### "Software reliable, API is flaky, Support is Worse"

We love the reliability. We run a weekly webinar and over the past 9 years have done 210 webinars, with a good attendance. Let down by the API and very poor support, which seems worse since the LogMeIn purchase. Now starting to look for alternative webinar solutions.

Pros

I have been using GotoWebinar software for the past 9 years and have found the basic service to be very reliable and have done over 210 webinars using it. The video functionality that they have recently added has been a good addition. Over the years that have made it easier for people to dial in, we get few problems. They also offer a phone dial in number for people to listen to the webinar audio.

Cons

\- The API is the worst API that we have used. Most products provide a simple REST API with a reasonable amount of instructions. The Gotowebinar API is badly documented and is difficult to work with. Just found out that the current API expires on 31 Jan 2019 and you have to move to Oauth2 - a costly migration. - Support for the API is awful. In November we were unable to use the API for 10 days. - The chat function is limited - we developed a chat room to run alongside GotoWebinar, but cannot integrate it with the webinar software - Takes a while to convert the recording

### "My personal experience of using Goto Webinar"

In my opinion as a user its an Good Market and lead generation tool. It contains all relevant features that a webinar software should have. Its reliable and sustainable but on other its sometimes lags also. And The main drawback in this software is its pricing which comparatively very high. But overall its a good fit for webinars.

Pros

Few features that I like most in Goto Webinar is interactive polls, surveys and handouts and the most important one, Group coaching. It gives power to host to unmute participants and ask Questions. One more that I like most in the software is webcast availability which allows participants to join webinar from their web browser.

Cons

Some times webinars gets lag which is not good. And Its Automatic recording feature is also not satisfying. Video and audio quality of recordings isn't so good.
