January 21, 2023 5.0 Pros I've been utilizing go to webinars for virtual meetings and video conferencing for a while. It has a highly user-friendly UI. Following the webinar, it offers highly useful statistics that assist in data analysis. If you don't have internet connectivity, it offers call-over-phone service. It is incredibly simple for hosts to schedule fresh forthcoming events. Cons I haven't had any major issues with go to the webinar so far, but it does lack some features, such as auto transcription, which other platforms provide for recordings, but overall it is a great tool at a low cost with minimal connection issues. Ceo Retail Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "Best 4 presentations n meetings " September 6, 2022 4.0 Pros I like this very fast and reliable it's got so many great features it's hard to list them all but you can invite users from your dashboard on your web browser or you can email them you can create a link you can have it auto start on a certain date there's also feature where you can test your microphone and webcam from your dashboard you can communicate on any device and allow others to access your keyboard and even mouse features while you're working on that screen you can also let them control moving the slides and other features while you're giving your presentation and it's great that you can make different polls and add questions and give them a box to answer in you can record your presentation and get spreadsheets with data to keep records of use your attendance and their rates and different stuff and it will also let you do up to 100 people so it's really great for any kind of presentation or meeting in managing those things even before covid and my previous job we used this all the time from office to office having meetings just made things simpler and where you didn't have to travel to have these big meetings and stuff but covid really made this even greater necessity and a definite plus to have Cons Sometimes you can have quality issues or issues with your mic going out but other than that I haven't I never came across any real cons Review Source KD Kira D. July 6, 2022 4.0 Overall this is a good webinar, conference, and virtual classroom tool. My experience was positive and although the price wasn't ideal I am satisfied with the value for money. Pros I love the teaching and training features like virtual classroom, Q&A, and polling. I like the webinar templates and scheduling feature. The control settings are useful. The audio and video are both high quality and reliable, I don't worry about miscommunication. Easily integrated with other products. It's great for presentations and includes screen sharing! Cons There are no free versions and the cheapest plan only allows for 100 attendees. One of the more frustrating cons is that for a participant to share video they must be added as a host. I have also experienced issues when using the scheduling feature at times. It gets the job done in most cases though at times you may want more features within features. It is user friendly and does not require much technological experience. Pros GoToWebinar is most helpful because it is easy to use and easy to catch on to. For users participating in a session, once you have the correct link, it's a very simple process to access the webinar or video conference. It also has most of the features you would usually want to use such as the ability to use video(webcam), screen sharing, chat, and the ability to ask questions. It works well for virtual training sessions and workshops. It is also now browser-friendly where you can use the Instant Join App in the browser instead of downloading the software to your computer. Cons Some of the integrated features could be more customisable. For example, while you are able to ask questions and solicit answers from the participants, the types and format of the questions is limited. Also, the browser mode is somewhat limited. Once deployed, the stream is steady and the platform is reliable. The user experience is solid, and allows complete focus on the content of the presentation, without being worried about the performance of the technology. Pros Once the software is deployed and the broadcast is accessed, it rarely freezes, glitches, kicks people out, or loses its audio or visual stream. In other words, the user experience is solid and steady. When the chat is available, it also works without a glitch. This isn't the flashiest or newest virtual meeting option available, but it is one of the most reliable. Cons Deploying the software/presentation platform is often a challenge. It gets stuck in the deployment process quite often. There's no error message, so the user is left wondering if they should wait or abort the deployment process and start again. Sometimes it takes several tries to gain access to the platform, but once connected, the broadcast is solid and steady. Because of the platform itself, I can't screen record any GoToWebinars, although the administrator does have the ability to record the entire presentation. I believe they are a frontrunner of the technology and hopefully will continue to be so. Pros What don't I like is a better question. The software is flexible, user friendly, and it seems the engineers thought of everything. It takes some practice to get the hang of it, especially if you are the host and/or co-host and plan to change hosting roles in the middle of a meeting; nevertheless it is one of the best tools of its kind I've worked with and well worth the money. There are so many features from how you schedule meetings through video versus audio only, recording options, sharing screens or documents and even creating documents in the presentation. It's a fabulous tool to support business. Also customer service is amazing - I had an emergency 5 minutes before a meeting was about to start and called for help. The rep was able to get me up and running in time for the meeting. Cons The cost can be prohibitive for non-profits, which is what I mostly consult with, however, they have (at least in the past) priced for non-profits and/or you can typically find discounts through other sources. June 21, 2018 4.0 Pros GoToWebinar was useful for conducting training webinars for large groups because of the ability to easily invite participants prior to the event, with the option to remind invitees of the event from an internal feature of the program. Following the webinar it was valuable to be able to access the roster of those who attended, along with their contact information. This was aided me in providing incentives to attendees and to follow up on the event. While conducting the webinar, the features within GoToWebinar allowed me to track who had their GoToWebinar window at the forefront of their screen (who was perhaps fully paying attention!), monitor and answer questions that came in through the question window, administer survey questions, and provide participants with downloads of PDF and Word documents. Cons As opposed to GoToMeeting, I did not like that (although it was easy to invite participants) each attendee had to register for the webinar rather than simply click on a link to access it. Many people did not receive a confirmation for this as the email was sent to their spam rather than to their inbox, causing a breakdown in communication. Review Source SW Susan W.
