It has saved the day several times. Pros We've had good luck with Cove Data Protection. We've been using it for several years and have never had an issue. It has saved the day several times. Cons The only con I would have is that data overages can be unexpected. As an MSP, our customers can sometimes surprise us with more data. This is not necessarily a Cove issue. It's super simple to deploy, restore and manage. from backing up workstations to servers to Office 365(Emails, SharePoint, OneDrive and teams) it's a great all-round cost-effective backup solution. Pros The ease of use, the ability to see all systems backup success / failure in a single pane of glass. The easy restore process for both Cloud and on prem files Cons I really only have 2 complaints and I can live with them. 1. The lack of notifications when a backup fails (Although I think this has been addressed in the recent release) 2. The lack of ability to integrate into other RMM's or CRM's for billing purposes. With the constant attacks on email accounts, it's nice to know our data is safe. Pros Cove is outstanding and easy to use. You just set it up and forget it. It does the work for you and you have that peace of mind that your data is safe. Also easy is searching for data to restore. You don't necessarily have to restore the data first. You can search old emails before restoring them to save time and hassle. Cons The only thing I can find so far that I didn't care for was not being able to set the time and occurrences of daily backups. But there's not much to not like. Review Source JC Jeff C. They seem to know nothing about RMM or managed backup services. I question if they are even legit, as they continue to charge for services even after notification of cancellation. Pros The only good thing I can say is that the software basically worked, kind of. Other than that I cannot think of anything nice to say about them. The emails are factual but it's difficult to configure them at convenient times. The constant satisfaction I have with the product and the team has been nothing short of amazing, and I hope use Cove for as long as I can. Pros Easy to use, configure, and support. Consistency of backups is incredible. Support is exceptional. Cons There is not a single thing I dislike about this platform. I think it's a great fit for an MSP looking for a back solution to use with their customers. Pros I like the Cove Data dashboard and the email notifications. It's easy to tell if there are errors, check all computers being backed up and see a history of the last month or so of backups. Great dashboard layout. Cons It doesn't integrate very well into the N-sight dashboard, it would be nice if you could install the backup client using N-Sight and have it show up in the Cove Data dashboard but that doesn't work. And the setup for all sorts of different backup regimes is easy to implement. Cons Google Workspace has yet to be integrated into the system to make it fully ubiquitious with any Windows based system.
