Pros Simplicity, very easy to use interface that is accessible from anywhere. We also use the rolling password feature which is very handy Cons Lack of options for data recovery. Since this is designed for cloud delivery, the data is stored off-network which makes it possible to reduce ransomware threats as well. Cons A thing that arises here is that backup verification should involve more comprehensive reporting. Pros Fast backup to the cloud. Easy, convenient and pretty fast. I have worked with lots of backup software, but this one is by far the easiest. Cons First backup takes forever. We like the ammount of recovery options Cons can't recover last versions of expired backups that can be frustrating sometimes, One version should atleast work for a 6 months or so. It just works--period! Pros This solution is ultra reliable and has worked for us 100% of the time without failure. Cons Honestly, I can't say anything negative about this product. We are 100% satisfied and wouldn't dream of switching to another solution--especially because we've had countless opportunity to test real situations (e.g., restores, drive imaging, etc.) and it's worked every time. Cove also provided me with incremental backups which was much cheaper than some other tools I have used in the past. I also found the concept of Isolation of Backup Storage very helpful in mitigating Ransomware threats. Cons I did not like one feature which is that there is no way to get more detailed information on the backup success of the system on the historical data available within the console. Pros Simplicity, ease of maintenance. The overall website experience is excellent. Cons Reporting is sparse and confusing. I'm trying to get historical reports of backup verification and can't figure out how. The efficiency of the incremental backups ensured that I could easily back up our critical systems many times in a day without a straining our internet connection. Pros The remote commands and the dashboard views are what I like most about Cove so far. Cons The thing I like the least is not being able to do an all customer search for devices. As a backup solution it is very strong, and it meets our requirements both for physical server/workstation recovery and O365 recovery. They also constantly revise/improve the product, which is important. Pros The O365 backup is extremely useful, and that it backs up both Exchange and OneDrive/SharePoint. Also that a copy of the data is inaccessible so that if an incident occurs it's untouchable. Cons While the email can be backed up, you need to export it to an active mailbox rather than a PST. No issues except double charged for a server one month as it create new server instance. Pros It just works, only errors I’ve had is because server is rebooting during backup. Restores work every time and very fast Cons Pricing could be better. It could s slightly hi pricing and does not seem to get cheaper by adding more servers. Any time we have an error on a backup or failed backup support is always helpful to take a look and ensure we are able to get the backups running successfully. Pros Ease of use, Dashboard is amazing to see which backups have completed, which are in error, or failed. Cons I do not have any cons at the moment about Cove Data Protection Switched from [Acronis Cyber Backup](https://www.capterra.com/p/10010631/Acronis-Backup-12/) Acronis was great, but we have ran into some instances where it would complete a backup, but the backup file would essentially be empty. Expanded capabilities are good for our business. Pros Generally easy to use. Works well across most platform and is very straightforward. Cons File restore UI on servers is somewhat clunky. If you select the wrong date on the calendar you will need to drill back down on the folder/file you want to restore. It is easy to backup the cloud services and the local devices. Cons The fact that there is not an on-premises device that helps with restores.
