Pros

I liked being able to monitor devices and manage different IT activities from one place. The dashboard gives a useful overview of device status and alerts, which makes it easier to identify issues that need attention. The reporting and inventory features were also helpful for keeping track of systems without relying on separate tools.

Cons

The platform took some time to learn, especially when setting up monitoring policies and getting familiar with all the available features. Some of the menus and reporting options could be more intuitive, and finding a specific setting was not always straightforward.

I spend every day in RMM, watching over our endpoints. I have to admit, I hope for SentinelOne to tell me there is an alert waiting so I have something "fun" to work on. RMM is like the house where all the endpoints live and I am the guardian watching over all the endpoints who live inside keeping them safe with theh help of S1 or Web Protection and the other tools available in RMM.

Pros

It has everything you need to monitor all your endpoints in one easy to use portal. It offers many addons as well to create a complete package for any MSSP to offer complete coverage to their clients.

Cons

When applying our company branding, it does not look very good. I spent a lot of time creating the necessary images required to do the branding, then when it finally got put in place, I was not happy with how it looked.

It has been a great experience using N-sight RMM in my workplace and my customers are happy that the help desk team is able to readily remote in.

Pros

I liked how intuitive the navigation of the main hub of RMM. You can clearly see where your clients are and you are able to see the different sites and use the tabs for servers and workstations. I also like the patch management and they allow you to create different templates. My clients like how easy RMM makes it for customer support.

There is a bit of a learning curve when it comes to setting up the clients, sites, and patch management and other fine tuning features for your organization.

N-sight is a comprehensive tool that we use everyday to keep informed on all of our device health, patches, and connectivity. The alerting and reporting is extremely helpful, and the remote management makes supporting customers so much easier.

Pros

I love the 24/7 monitoring and alerts, the ability to see all devices in a single pane of glass, always being kept informed of our environment health. A good value for the cost, with remote management and many tools included. Patch management is a breeze and can be scheduled. Customer support is responsive and helpful.

Cons

It is difficult to find something I dislike about N-sight. It would be nice to be able to adjust the GUI a little more. Also I would really love a dark mode feature.

Overall it was a great experience. Setup was very easy, software is effective/affordable, and has great tools. The customer support is top notch. With an easily-accessible live support line.

Pros

Easy remote access with great tools! The file transfer utility is an absolute must-have. Relatively easy setup too.

Cons

The UI could be a little better. Symbols/characters are a little difficult to learn. That’s if I’m being nit-picky though.

Overall, I had a positive experience with N-Sight RMM. Presently, I am working with a different RMM and it is not as easy, but it has less limitations.

Pros

It was easy to use and install agents on client computers. Its ease of use was because it had a lot of pre-defined features. I liked that.

Cons

It was pretty expensive and it was limited to what it could do. The same things that made it easier to use limited its use.

Reasons for choosing N-sight RMM

They had a better startup cost. I was afforded several months at reduced cost.

Pros

Easy to use, which is nice. Good to have many things together in one platform. I would recommend to others.

Cons

Doesn't fully integrate with other products which is annoying, but I get used to it. Not a deal breaker

Overall, I find the product to be a very good fit for my business. Having compared it to several others out there, we settled on N-Sight for the effectiveness of the product, ease of use, and value for money. The latest "Inform" event gave good "insight" (pun intended) into what new improvements are coming and they will be most welcome, particularly the ability to remediate vulnerabilities from within that module! Game changer!!

Pros

The interface is easy to use, and we were able to become productive very quickly. True multi-tenancy capability makes it easy to segregate customers. The dashboard is clean and apart logicl, from one widget which still says "Feature Unavailable" (for which I am still to get an answer on), and is logical and informative. The new "Assets" module and the new "Vulnerabilities" module add to the information flow. The reporting is efficient enough with the usual sorts of reports being available. Deployment of the agent to new clients is simple enough, and using the "Take Control" facility, can be deployed remotely if desired.

Cons

The new "Vulernabilities" module is only able to show any systems with vulnerabilities at the moment. It will be much more useful once you can remediate from there. Two things are still lacking, though. Firstly, there is no ability to run a separate "NOC View" window (the current "Wall Chart" is an attempt at one but is lacking. It works, but is poor. The second is that patching, though functional, is still a little cumbersome compared to some of the other products. It's a little annoying but does not diminish the overall value of the product. Custom Branding is still something I have not been able to get right.

Better multi-tenancy, nicer dashboard and overall ease of use (although the actual patching within Endpoint Central is less cumbersome, in my view)

Reasons for choosing N-sight RMM

feature for feature, the N-Sight suited our business needs better and was a more cost-effective option. N-Central and NinjaOne were very close to being chosen, but in the end, the value proposition of N-Sight for our needs won out.

Our Account manager is very helpful and responsive. We also have access to a dedicated customer success manager who we can book meetings with to review our N-Sight portal and advice were we can improve / automate

Pros

Easy to navigate Dashboard makes it very easy to see what devices and checks are failing, meaning we can keep onto of our clients devices Using automated tasks allows us to keep devices healthy (there is also an automation cookbook which allows you access to prebuilt scripts) Very easy to deploy by either group policies or building an Intune package. Support is very quick to respond with the livechat and we also have access to our own customer success manager who you can book meetings with to go through any more advanced features / setups.

Cons

We have had issues with patch management failing to install updates and having to manually push the updates again (But this maybe more on the windows devices end)

We wanted something that integrated with our other tools better (Backup, password manager etc)
