Pros

The biggest shift in Ninox recently is its integration of AI across the development lifecycle. Instead of manually mapping out every schema and relational link from scratch, you can essentially describe the business tool you need in plain English (like a custom CRM, inventory tracker, or patient management portal) and watch the platform build out the structural framework

Cons

Ninox is built around a standard, utilitarian layout. While it is highly functional, it can feel incredibly rigid if you want to build a highly customized, modern user interface (UI).The Problem: Modifying form layouts often requires manipulating "invisible spaces" and line breaks to get elements to sit where you want them, rather than utilizing a true, free-form pixel-perfect drag-and-drop designer. The Mobile Deficit: While the multi-platform sync is great, desktop-designed forms often look cramped or "wonky" when opened on a smartphone without building entirely separate, device-specific layout configurations.

"Generally speaking, it's really very good. I was able to build a lot of small tools from it that I can use in my day-to-day work."

Pros

"What I particularly like is how easy it is to get started. You can quickly build databases and forms — it's generally kept very simple, but you do need a certain level of technical understanding."

Cons

"As soon as things get a bit more demanding — forms, exports, that kind of thing — you do need to have some programming knowledge."

Very easy to use. Love the drag and drop, easy tables and the data structure. Accesible for non developers or aspiring developers.

Cons

Scaling up the projects were a bit hard when we had a bunch of data. If you integrate third party stuff it can seem a bit limited.

Pros

Powerful and modern interface, easy to understand. Strong scripting for blow mind actions Huge community very helpful!

Cons

Still thinking about it…🤔 Maybe a better way to organise and filter the attachments and use carbon with PDF…

I implemented a phone plan generator that determined the best rate for a client, a remote telemarketing system, a system for an English academy that generates invoices for approximately 600 students in a single step, an advanced CRM system that allows me to fully track toll payment clients, and I'm currently developing a TMS-type tool for transportation companies that I intend to help clients specify things like cost per kilometer, monitor payment method usage, determine overall and per-service profitability, and other key aspects for the transportation sector. Ninox continues to evolve; it's a tool with fantastic performance and hasn't had a single issue since I first implemented a solution with it in 2011. I'm eager to explore the possibilities of Version 4.

Pros

Ninox is a powerful database tool that I discovered around 2011 when I was looking for a database for Mac OS. I was surprised by how simple it was to implement my databases while simultaneously setting up the web view, the Mac OS app, and the mobile view for iPhone.

Cons

I'd like an easy way to see the location of addresses on a map and graphically choose my next places to visit to better plan my trips. I think this would help many other Ninox users.

My overall experience with Ninox has been exceptionally positive. The platform is remarkably quick to learn, highly intuitive to use, and scalable enough to handle a wide range of tasks - from simple, routine digitization projects to very complex and demanding enterprise implementations.

Pros

NINOX successfully transformed our organization from a strictly paper-based to a fully digital and paperless operational model. The tool allowed us to develop a professional, company-wide database covering all relevant business areas, even without specialized programming skills. Onboarding is intuitive; while prior knowledge is advantageous, it is not strictly required. Special praise goes to the NINOX Support Team: They operate with extreme professionalism, are highly accommodating, and are distinguished by remarkably fast response times.

Cons

To maximize clarity, we suggest expanding the documentation to include more practical and use-case-specific examples.

Reasons for choosing Ninox

Initially, Microsoft Access was considered. However, Ninox was chosen due to its superior online accessibility, significantly steeper learning curve, and inherent flexibility for future development and scaling.

We try to use it for our business, but since it is not reliable, it is not working. Especially on the go, when internet is weak or from hotel rooms; we get error messages.

Pros

It's flexibility and ease of use. We could develop an integrated system inhouse in a quite short time frame.

Cons

\- It is not reliable, especially on the go. - Customer service is not friendly. - It is easy to delete important data entries by mistake. We often need to recover the back-up. - Looks quite bulky and outdated.
