Virtually every time I use it I discover new uses for it. Cons I wish Ninox had more documentation, but that's been improving steadily over the 6 months I've been using it. It has made our lives much easier! Ninox customer service has also been outstanding and incredibly generous to us. Thank you! Pros I love the ability to not just enter the data but create the structure of the database as I want it. It means I can create databases adapted precisely to my needs rather than adapt our data to a preset structure. The access via phone app is really useful as well. And the support team is excellent should I ever need help! Cons If you really have to nitpick, there are two things that could be better. One is filters — there is no way to filter or order the table view by column A, then column B, at the moment, or to filter a multiple choice column with choice A AND choice B or by choice A OR choice B. The second is maybe an ability to remove all non-visible fields when printing a record, as currently the capacity for adapting the print layout is fairly limited. Review Source KG Kerry G. It behaves very well. No hidden, mysterious functions taking place. Everything is accessible so you can easily figure out complex relationships between tables. I can keep all my data local. January 24, 2018 5.0 Pros The Software is really user friendly, I did have (almost) no experience except for some on high school 15 years ago and still easy to work with. The way it is designed it easy to start your data base en by trail and error you learn fast. And the manual on the website covers almost al the basics The online support they offer by confrenscall works great! The tip's they gave makes the work even easier. Cons Dind't find many cons. The manual could be a bit better but it think they are working on that. And they sad the connection with mail chimp will be there soon so then they have solved that for me. However, I think twice to use it again unless someone can tell me how to get the info back. Never seen this before. Pros Easy to use. There is not much more to say. Cons When I made a duplicate database, renamed it, made it empty I discovered that the original DB was also empty. And what is more, all daily archived copies before the date of duplicating were also empty. In other words, one year of work is lost. Review Source PS Philippe S. Extremely convenient to be able to enter/edit contact information from phone or ipad and have it there on your desktop when returning to the office. Easy to customize contact fields make Ninox simple to tailor to you needs or industry. Cons No negative concerns. The product is a simple, basic CRM which works extremely well. So far, I have been successful in implementing the needed features. Pros It is easy to setup and use. The interface is straight forward and easy to use. This is not an application, but a data base program so there is a short learning curve. Cons The user manual needs to be more comprehensive. Programming in Ninox is at times difficult but the expert online support staff has been an excel source of help. They are very responsive and their screen sharing sessions have been most valuable. Pros It is highly customizable (basic and more complex, formulaic, customizations are welcome), runs on Mac, and the iPad version is fully featured and operates exactly like the Mac version Cons I don't like that the software doesn't allow much flexibility with visual design, colors, and such. The support is amazing and more than makes up for the limited instructions. Easy to back up and use on their Web app if you pay for the monthly fee. Cons Does not have the full data manipulation capabilities of SQL or MS Access. Cons At the moment the manuals are poor because they assume quite advanced knowledge of the Ninox script language, which I and many others struggle to understand. So the help desk gets inundated with a lot of really basic questions that could be answered if they just had a "Ninox Script for Beginners" document covering the really basic things.
