Worth it, as long as you keep an eye on cost as the audience grows. Pros OneSignal gives us one API to send push notifications to web, iOS and Android users of our apps. The Node SDK is straightforward to call from our backend, segments and tags let us target users by app and behavior, and delivery stats in the dashboard make it easy to see what actually reached people. Getting started was fast and the free tier let us validate it before scaling up. Cons At high volume the pricing climbs quickly, and some useful features (advanced analytics, more granular segmentation) sit behind higher plans. Debugging why a specific device did not get a notification can be slow, and keeping our own user IDs in sync with OneSignal subscriptions needed extra work on our side. Review Source Furkan A. We mainly use it as the notification layer for products where we need to reach users without spending too much development time building a custom system. For push notifications, it does the core job very well. Integration is relatively quick, the API and SDK support are reliable, and the dashboard gives us enough visibility into delivery and engagement for most projects. It is particularly useful when we are developing and testing new products quickly. There are some limitations once you need more advanced segmentation, automation or higher usage, but for SaaS, web and mobile products it has been a reliable and practical solution. Pros What I like most about OneSignal is how quickly we can add push notifications to a new product without having to build the whole notification infrastructure ourselves. We use it in SaaS and mobile/web projects, both for client work and some of our own products. The SDKs and documentation are generally good, and once the initial integration is completed, sending and managing notifications is very straightforward. I also like having segmentation, scheduling and basic analytics in the same place. For smaller products or early-stage projects, the free and entry-level options make it especially easy to get started. Cons The main limitation for me is that some of the more useful features become restricted as the product grows, so you eventually need to look more carefully at the paid plans and usage limits. The dashboard is generally easy to use, but some settings around segmentation, users and platform configuration can take a little time to understand at first. Advanced customization may also require additional development work, so it is not completely no-code once your notification flows become more complex. You would certainly have your preferred environment covered by their SDK, and the flexibility of the pricing makes it a no-brainer. Pros I found One Signal to be the best option for getting started with push notifications. They provide an excellent, documented SDK for almost any programming language and platform where your project is running. New features were always in place to provide more functionality, and any adjustments needed during the setup process were both easy and valuable. Cons For Latin American markets, using WhatsApp is necessary when communicating with your clients. It is a very competitive channel, and the users are often more oriented to be notified and contacted regarding sales and promotions through this channel. This integration is not easy to use in One Singal, even thought they are working to keep up with the competition. It was I think 2016 and since then I gained 70K subscribers then they set the limit of 3)K and then 10K so it just they offered fake promise I guess, If I move to any other platform I lose 70K users otherwise pay for it.
