Pros

The itinerary process is very intuitive. The leads tracking system through the brochure feature has also been very helpful. I would also add the speed for you can create invoices for clients has proved to be very useful for our team.

Cons

There is not a library of itinerary events. It would be great if you could save certain itinerary days and add them to any itinerary.

Its made me look and feel smarter and professional. LOL. Figuring out how to be a tour operator is crazy work, so it was nice that this platform was pretty straightforward. It had everything I could think of wanting in a standard and slightly customizable way but not so customaizable that I'd get lost. It kept me from overthinking and over tweaking things. Mostly, it did exactly what I needed it to in providing a professional payment processing experience to customers and then having the lowest fees of all the softwares.

Pros

The ease of learning this platform was a huge asset as I juggle a lot as a solo entrepreneur. The low fees and Stripe implementation I love and it's made collecting and processing a payment worlds easier than I thought it would be .

Cons

I don't likke that you have to run your first tour and get reviews to be vetted. Initially, I wasn't crazy that the reviews need to exist on WeTravel and so we must direct customers there, when it would be more profitable to have them else where. I'm glad I'm not a tour operator who needs reviews on Trip Advisor b/c this would've boned me. There's small tweaks in the platform which weren't obvious to me that I had to email customer support to ask how it works. However, customer support is very responsive and often I got a response in good time.

Reason for choosing WeTravel

WT was quickly responsive to my interest and I didn't need to wait for customer service to respond for me to sign up and look into features. I didn't like that FH had that wait period bar entry. It felt secretive and like I had to wait for someone to sell me on something. WT was like-- come on in!!!

My biggest pain points in selling group trips were online booking and payment processing, and in those two arenas, WeTravel has completely solved my problems and revolutionized my business. The customer service has always been top notch, not to mention the personal conversations that make me feel like a valued customer. I so appreciate that you guys ask me what I'd like to see, and then you actually implement improvements. It feels good to align with a company that is so progressive and wants to keep getting better, which is exactly how I feel about my business too, and WeTravel is helping me get better!Also just for the record, it was horrible when you froze funds during Covid - I hope you never feel like you have to freeze our funds again!

Pros

The online booking and payment processing functions are the real highlights of WeTravel for me. I love the easy integration of the direct to checkout button, payment plans and tracking, low processing fees, money transfer options, and payment and customer database management.

Cons

I wish there were a real function for a full customer database (for example - in the current database, when more than one person is included in a booking, the second person isn't reflected accurately like they don't exist). Also it'd be great if I could customize fields and other info in a database, like how many and which trips a customer has been on (even before I used WeTravel), etc. Perhaps an integration with Wise as well, to easily send money internationally straight from the WeTravel account.

I was looking for a new software to design, sell and manage our itineraries and I ended up finding We Travel. \[sensitive content hidden\] was the first person I spoke to (it was a festivity but he gave me availability anyway as we were in a hurry) and then \[sensitive content hidden\] helped us set up our account. Coming from a software that provided very poor customer service this truly made the difference. The software is well made, easy to use and with plenty of features. I am sure they will get even better in the future (possibly on the graphic aspect of it) but overall it is a very good and competitive product.

Cons

it's actually not exactly about WeTravel - but the time it takes from making a wire transfer and receiving - it's inconsistent (it can take just 1 day or 2 - or about a week) To be fair it's more an issue with the international wire transfer than WeTravel themselve

As mentioned before, the difficulty in interpreting payments when they arrive to my bank account, when more than one transaction is lumped together.Also, the slowness of receiving payments from Bank transfers.My clients are often confused when they see WeTravel branding instead of Excursions from the Square

### "Absolutely Unprofessional"

I found this platform, took a look at it and jump without doing further research, so this is on me. I started working on the page as they allow you to do so before verifying you, this is on them. After sending every little piece of documentation they asked me for (some of them very sensitive information, but understandable because they deal with people's money, almost 9 hours of work on the trip page, and almost paying the pro package to be able to access some features, I received an email telling me that they were "denying me service". No reason whatsoever, only that "the decision was final and would not be changed. I ran to the site to try to recuperate all the material I had uploaded to the page, but they had already removed my page and blocked my account. I have been trying to make sense of this as I have no idea what could had happened for them to be so drastic. I have emailed the same person that sent me the "decision", asking him to please let me have the material back as it is my intellectual property (this was for a destination wedding) but they have ignored every one of my emails. Now, they have my personal information, my intellectual property, and I have nothing, not even an email back with an explanation (which I still want) or an apology for removing my material without giving me the opportunity to recuperate it. Absolutely unprofessional!

Pros

Feature is not that hard to manage. To incorporate it in your website is a different story.

Cons

Their unprofessional behavior and lack of communication.

WeTravel has three possible verification decisions: 1. Full approval (funds available any time) 2. Partial approval (funds available after the trip) 3. Denial of service. This is stated in our public FAQ: https://help.wetravel.com/en/articles/1619345-how-to-get-verified-for-payouts We always encourage any new company or organizer to right away verify their account. All new users are notified several times through in-dashboard pop-ups and notifications about the necessity to verify their accounts. The verification process is also clearly outlined in our help center. Our verification process follows a strict, legally-binding process to ensure the highest standards are met, for all stakeholders. We are obliged to verify each user thoroughly due to the "future delivery risk" inherent in processing payments for travel companies. Many independent travel agents and individual organizers receive a "Partial Approval", meaning their funds are available only after a trip has ended. Most companies with several employees and a verifiable, multi-year track record receive "Full Approval". It's important to note that most of our individual organizers without established payment history choose to link their Stripe Standard accounts and receive all of their funds from the bookings directly there. What I like most about we travel is the payment processing system, it’s pretty flawless and seamless the way customers are able to follow the link to my business page and pay for what they need to pay for especially being able to pay in installments.

Customer experience at WeTravel is terrific. We have been very satisfied with the team and the software. Our daily tasks have become very easy and organized. Since we have less administrative tasks to complete we can now focus on expending and creating more tours!

Pros

As a tour operator, having all our data centralized in one software is an essential tool to our success. From clients information to payments to all our available products we can research data and organize it in reports in just a few clicks. The backend interface is clean and very easy to use and our product pages are beautiful. The pop-up booking page directly integrated on our booking site is also a great feature. We have gained so much in productivity and accuracy. No more mistakes from messy excel sheets!

Cons

Would love to be able to customize our booking pages more, but the team is always improving the software and listening to feedback so it is constantly evolving. An offline app would be a great as well for customers to be able to save documents such as itineraries or check-lists. Maybe something to consider for future projects!

Excellent - While we did list one wish list fix, our overall experience is great. I really like how the team responds quickly via chat and will work with you over little or big issues. Finance is easy with WeTravel and they built a system that looks great.

Pros

We moved to WeTravel for the nice-looking pages and seamless customer experience. It is very easy to use for our customers (in our case members) and for our team on the back end. Payment processing is seamless and we are able to pass credit card fees onto the customer. Refunds are simple and easy as well.

Cons

This system is great for a tour/travel agency that offers very simple experiences. We have more complicated trips and packages that we offer and the simplicity of the system requires us to "make it work". The previous system we used did not look as great, but some of the custom functionality really made the experience better for the end user. Example: Someone signs up for a TOUR. We need 2 required components select. 1) Lodging Option & 2) Flight Option - Right now the system only allows one require component. it would be nice to be able to create groupings of these required components for a trip or tour. We have a workaround by adding everything in "Options" and trying to walk customers through process of selecting those options.

Since we started to use it save time and increase booking for Nepal Eco Adventure. As we take all our booking online. WeTravel made it possible for us.

Cons

Software is not mobile friendly.If you can develop the IOS and Google play app. These days we all use he phone more the computer. If I can control and check via mobile app that make things so much easier.
