The customer service is good, they respond to inquiries in a reasonable time and are very helpful.

Pros

It's easy for customers to book their trip, make payments, see the itinerary, etc...

Cons

When they first started there were some limitations, for example families couldn't book for more than one price package at a time which caused confusion. But, every year they are making improvements and adding so much. Now customers can easily book many different options and packages.

Reason for choosing WeTravel

I went to a SYTA conference and ran into them. The purpose of going to the conference was to find something like what they do. There were a few different companies there for me to look at and they seemed to fit my needs the best.

We were able to implement WeTravel pretty seamlessly (and quickly!) into our existing website. \[sensitive content hidden\], our Account Manager is incredibly responsive and solves all of our problems on the rare occasion we encounter one. Our salesperson, \[sensitive content hidden\], still checks in on us. I know they're a big company with many clients but we feel like we're the only one.

Pros

You can do SO much with the free version of WeTravel. The primary way we use WeTravel is for trek registration and payment activities, and we can do what we need with the free version. It saves us so much time and stress. We love WeTravel!

Cons

We're a small business and the annual cost for the Pro plan is more than we can justify at this time. Being on the free version means - understandably - that not all of the cool features are available to us. That's a bummer.

Reason for choosing WeTravel

Pros

I love the ease of use. \[sensitive content hidden\] is my account manager and he always checks in on me as well as listens to my concerns. The company has evolved in the years we have used them and they get better each year.

Cons

I want my user testimonials to be be searchable in search engine like google. Right now they sit on the WeTravel platform only.

### "We Love WeTravel!"

Pros

As the owner of an international retreat travel business (SolSeed Retreats) that runs over 20 trips annually, WeTravel has been a huge asset to us! Not only are is their customer service team incredibly helpful and responsive, but their trip registration pages and payment processing features are very user friendly and easy to navigate and set up to your liking. We also love how they are constantly improving their softwares’ functionality and adding new features for payment collection in multiple currencies, vendor payouts, registrant information collection and more. The best part? Their fees are only 1% of your trip’s revenue, which is much less than Square or PayPal. We look forward to continuing to partner with WeTravel for our retreat registration and payment processing for years to come!

Cons

The only con would be information collection. We're still trying to optimize the way we collect info from retreat participants to make it as easeful as possible. WeTravel has some great information collection features, but it would be nice to have more comprehensive and user friendly information collection abilities, or even an app where you can push out notifications to participants, and collect info from them that way.

We have really loved using this product. It has made keeping track of payments and group numbers much easier than we have done in the past.

Pros

I like that it is easy to create trips and that they system send the automatic reminders. I also like that the team members can police their own participants, and it doesn't have to come from us.

Cons

Reporting I would like to have more options available.The turnaround time on credits and how long payments are in pending status2 factor authentication. The fact that only 1 person has control of the log-in isn't very convenient for us

We used PayPal before and it was a headache! They retained my money twice and it was impossible to contact a human being to solve the problem. We lost our money and I didn't feel comfortable asking for payments with PayPal.I loved the support that both \[sensitive content hidden\] has given us, even after hours.I feel that they care!Maybe I am "old school" and to be able to reach a person has been a real treat for me. Pros

I love to use WETRAVEL!It made the booking process easier for us, but particularly for our clients

I have had complains from clients -outside the USA- that the fee is too high for payments with credit cards

Great, \[sensitive content hidden\] my accountmanager is very helpful. It's free to use (only 2.9% card charge) and has really made my life a lot easier. Also the credit card that takes money straight from my account is amazing!

Pros

It makes booking tours and taking payments so much faster, I just send a link and the client chooses the dates and pays

Cons

Lack of calendar management. With fareharbor and peek onces a tour is booked you can see it on a calendar and easy change dates if the client needs to move

### "The answer to the question we didn't think to ask"

We first started using WeTravel in January of 2020 when we had high hopes for a big year of travel. We were not able to really start using the platform until 2021 when we began to do some domestic trips. We were not looking for an online booking platform but it has since altered our work processes, streamlining work that we used to have to do in many other forms. And it allows us to continue to work with snail mail and check payments that some of our older clients prefer. WeTravel is a wonderful platform and we cannot wait to see where they go next!

Pros

WeTravel is my dream platform. The ease of use, the development and implementation of new features, the webinars and documentation and resources. Our account manager \[sensitive content hidden\] is always keeping us informed of new features and reviewing our use of the platform and answering our questions.

Cons

We have been able to watch this platform grow and evolve and any suggested changes we may have get passed on to the team for possible development. I can't say a single "con"

Cons

Some more options and functionality could be offered. However, I have noticed continued significant growth in this area and the company is always working to improve its product!

### "An Occasional Travel Experience"

Pros

My wife and I gathered a group of friends, and some brought their friends, for a trip to Europe in July 2020. Of course, the trip had to be cancelled due to the corona virus. This was a personal effort, not conncected with a business or industry. We set up our trip with our travel agency, and then we used WeTravel to recruit our travel companions and manage the financial components. The program was easy to learn, and technical assistance was always one "chat" away. We liked the facility to add photos to each day of our itinerary, to offer several payment plans, to add disclaimers where needed. When we were prepared to do so, we sent the web page to our friends, often adding a personal message of encouragement to the pitch. As each party came on board, they were able to register and submit deposits. WeTravel sent our welcome letter to the new travelers and began the periodic reminders to those who chose the multiple payment plans. All worked smoothly, and we received no complaints from any of our travel partners. We enjoyed worry-free security of the travel funds held by WeTravel, and each transfer of collected funds to the travel agency was handled in a professional and timely manner. The accounting of total funds and of each individual's payments was readily available throughout the process.

Cons

We shared this suggestion with the administrators of the WeTravel site. We would like to have a print-friendly option within the program, so that we could print a travel itinerary to hand out or send through the mail to friends. Much beyond that oprtion -- and we would be willing to pay extra for this -- how about a trip publisher component so that we could download information and create a day by day travel description booklet for each traveler? Like least about this software? Nothing that comes to mind.

I've been working with WeTravel for almost four years now and the setup was incredibly easy and we were able to easily integrate it into our processes. From four years ago so many new features have been added, including ones that we had asked for - they were able to get them implemented. For any group tour operator - WeTravel is a no-brainer.

Pros

Payment Processing is a breeze as well as all of the customer information tools.

Cons

At the beginning there were some features we wanted that they didn't have - but they quickly added them and we are very happy with the product we use today.

Onboarding was very easy and the support staff has been great at responding to questions quickly. I really like the quarterly meetings with my account manager to update on what's going on and talk through any suggestions/issues.

Pros

Like the ease of creating an itinerary and sending a link with payment options directly to a client. Also helpful for creating groups and letting individual travelers book into them. Collecting client information is a breeze and you can customize what you want to know from your travelers.

Cons

I wish there was a way to produce a final itinerary/documents or vouchers.

Wonderful! I had a zoom call with my a account manager, Antonietta Robino, and she was so helpful and friendly. The customer service is great!

Pros

It was easy to create my trip and I was able to edit it often. The customer service team was prompt and helpful. I love that emails are sent automatically to all the attendees and the feature to have payments collected automatically lets me focus on things other than payment collection.

Cons

I didn’t figure out the payment plan feature until a couple of people had signed up. It would be great if it was possible to add a payment plan to someone after the initial registration. (For those of us who missed this feature)

I have been working with Wetravel for one year and loving it. I am happy with he help I get every time I have a doubt. It is rare to see in a big business this type of attention to customer. It usually 'fades' with time but fortunately it does not seem the case with Wetravel.

Pros

Tha ability to embed the payment button on my website and split payments. Also the ability to create several packages ad 'add-ons' to the programs.

Cons

The photos that are offered when we do not upload ours.

From the backend it is quite easy to learn it and to teach it to any newcomers. You can easily create new customer pages and develop different itineraries. Theres is a multi-package system that works quite well, as within the same trip you can charge different amounts.Their technical support is always very speedy at getting back to any questions we may have.

Cons

It is much better suited for individual customers than for B2B.

WeTravel helped us to set up my first international retreat and, with its ease of use and attractive, professional appearance, it inspired confidence on the part of the prospective participants that they would be getting their money's worth and have a great experience. The booking page inspires confidence.

Pros

I really liked the ability to create a professional, attractive looking booking page with all the accommodation options, descriptions, photos, itinerary, and ease of payment. It is a template but it looks very personalized. It reflected well on us. Customer service was always willing to help me even with a big learning curve.

Cons

Getting verified was a bit challenging, and it took a lot of time to set everything up and clarify all the different steps. And figuring out the currency options and financial elements took a minute. But, once it was done, it was worth it.

Overall it’s been a good for us to use WeTravel for all of our booking needs. We’ve been using them since 2017 so it’s wild to see how much it’s grown and evolved over the years.

Pros

At this time we only use WeTravel for all our booking needs. We love the ease of use, backend logistics, and direct access to customer service if something comes up or there is a question we need answered.

Cons

Wish there was a way to break up discounts and waiting lists to only be available for a certain trip instead of for all trips under the same url.
