You can certainly prescribe medications but administration of providers, support, and other modern eRX features are lacking. You cannot manage staff, locations, PDMP, etc. within the platform. Our providers almost uniformly despise using it. Support is horrendous. Nothing will get resolved quickly, if at all. Before choosing this platform ask yourself: Is it safe for my patients if my eRX support cannot help me or takes weeks to address my issues? Pros This eRX platform is the worst I have ever used or administered. The platform is probably unsafe due to the lack of efficient and meaningful support. Cons Support is slow, vague, and unhelpful. We've been trying to address a very simple issue, and it remains unresolved weeks later. From the clinical side, it's barely passable as an eRX platform. I used an eRX platform almost 15 years ago that puts this product to shame. It is very basic and lacks many of the modern day features you expect with eRX. We got signed up fast. It worked for 2 months. Cons It took 3 weeks to get our doctors two factor identification set up and to get a text. Once set up it worked mostly for 2 months before it disconnected and now we have no prescriptions again for a week and still cant get a hold of them. They are almost impossible to get a hold of. You have to enter all patients for each provider and clinic. Do NOT waste your time. Pros I really liked your Support portal where we can submit tickets . The cases resolved really quick that showed an awesome team effort.The ease of creating such tickets are also worth mentioningAnd I also liked the dedication where in the members from DoseSpot reached out to the Doctors / practices directly in case of criticalities or clarifications.The admin portal is also one important interface where as a CareStack employee I had to work a lot ,creating users / adding locations and TFA etc. Cons The admin portal at times I felt like was a bit rigid (having trouble finding /loading options/ locking itself and so on)As a CareStack employee I would always wanted to assist doctors via chat/call regarding their concerns so if that is a concern regarding DS, sometimes I will have trouble understanding their status on TFA.Another problem would be when they have two/ more accounts when they switch practice. Such cases are always proceeded by a ticket but it would be sometimes on a very later point we get to know the reason that there are multiple accounts , if an alert mentioning this is shown it would be great.
