President Computer Networking Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "Taggun API for automated data entry into our accounting program, GnuCash" October 14, 2021 4.0 Pros With the simple to use API, we extract data from invoices and receipts for automated entry into our accounting program. Unlike others, there is one API for both receipts and invoices. Cons The merchant name sometimes does not pickup correctly, however keep in mind this is OCR so there will never be 100% accuracy. Need I say more? Pros Taggun’s OCR API is the best I have found for what my company is looking for, and I’ve looked through a lot. It is competitively priced and the API is very easy to use. Pros The great thing Taggun delivers is product and expertise in AI. Taggun allows our team of devs to focus on what they're good at 'our product', and leverage what Taggun are good at 'AI'. We don't lose time and money trying to upskill developers, we can instantly set expectations and more importantly, they give great guidance on what will work and what won't. If you want to leverage AI and need a trusted partner. Taggun is your company. Cons It doesn't automate all accounts which we would love. Pros The results are easy to parse and very accurate. Cons As a solo, free time project with slow development time, the introduction of a minimal monthly fee will increase the scan price significantly, at least before the adoption phase.
