We managed to solve checkout issues, problems with our landing page and many other things where Analytics was no help in actually understanding user issues.

Pros

After trying more than 4 different tracking tools to support my Google Analytics efforts, Mouseflow has won all competition.

Cons

Honestly... I think Mouseflow is one of the best pieces of software I've used in a long time.

### "Robust Software at A Great Price"

Overall, great experience.

Pros

Integration was easy and online training videos really help you sort through all the data that Mouseflow collects. There are quite a few filters and custom tags and the ability to save filter reports helps expedite my research.

Cons

Since there is so much data to pour over, it would be great to have prebuilt reports and alerts that help give you a game plan of how to take action on the issues you uncover. Some of these action items were mentioned in passing on the screencast training videos, but I had to take notes to remind myself of the things I am looking for once I started digging into all the recordings and heat maps. Again, there is so much good data that Mouseflow collects. The question is: Where to start?

You need an account for each domain. Crossdomain-tracking not that easy.

### "Good tool for user behavior"

Helpful for understanding customers.

Pros

I love being able to see where users are scrolling and reading and clicking. It is great for research. A valuable tool for our CRO

Cons

Sometimes this tool does not load the way it should. It lags a bit. I don't know if that is an issue with our site our theirs, but it can get frustrating.

It doesn't seem to get every visit to the site. Kartra shows a different number of visits, but the heatmaps are similar

### "Great Mouse Tracking Tool"

Pros

I really like the ease of use and setup process of Mouseflow. They had a great walkthrough to onboard me. Also, they did a good job of communicating the data security policy that you have to adapt to your website.

Cons

It was a little bit overwhelming to overlook all the features in the dashboard. I couldn't manage to find some simple features like the embed code.

### "Very Difficult to Stop Auto-Billing"

Good service, but very difficult to stop their auto-billing if you ever choose to. Tried both phone and web site several times to do so. Customer support unhelpful.

Easy to use, and fairly cheap. I also thought it was helpful to gauge user interactions.

It's not good on mobile. I would like to be able to check recordings on my phone.

### "Must Have for your Website"

Pros

It's very easy to understand your customers and your website users, once you see how your users interact with your website, you'll quickly know how to improve it and make it more user-friendly. I use it on a regular basis with other common web-analytic tools, but this is definitly the most fun and interesting one.

Cons

I have no cons. I can even create my own dashboards.

### "Not a typical use case but a game changer for us"

We are using the software to identify usability issues and software bugs in our application. We have a fairly complex UI and many reported issues were not reproduceable by us because our users could not clearly articulate the steps they took during their interactions. The session recording functionality has completely solved that issue for us. Our users can just report an issue and tell us the time it took place and we can they look at the recording and see exactly what happened.

Pros

The product is extremely easy to install and we started to pick up recordings straight away. The recordings are clear and well indexed. We have a very clear picture of what our users are doing and where they are experiencing problems.

Cons

The only thing I would change is that multiple interactions in the same recorded session are stamped with the session start + a number of hours and minutes. It would be easier for us to identify particular recordings if all interactions were stamped with the recording time. But this is really minor.

### "Very efficient and worthwhile"

So far Mousflow has been great for us in reporting our new website design usage heat maps and visit videos. It has been easy to use off the bat...

Pros

I liked the simplicity of the reporting you get with Mouseflow. It was super easy to instal into our WordPress site and so far has been great to use, highly recommend.

Cons

Nothing yet, although if Mousflow could actually provide the Company and/or person who is visiting our site that would be much better.

We've been able to tweak the flow of our website to improve the consumer experience while shopping. Mouseflow has been quite helpful in identifying the glitches that consumers face which otherwise we would have overseen. It's a must-have for those wanting to better their consumer experience.

Pros

Profiling of the user and the recording of every transaction helps in understanding the exact user behaviour on our website. Funnels which also gives a quick view of the dropouts helps in streamlining our flow to minimise dropouts.

Cons

Filter options could have been better. Limitation of 5 funnels is too low.

It's been a great tool to support our web development and product enhancements. It also allows to provide great customer service and troubleshoot issues for our clients.

Pros

This software allows us to quickly view sessions on our website installs to help us determine if our features and services are supporting customer engagement and interaction. We can view user sessions to see what people are liking, interacting with and getting stuck on.

Cons

Sometimes, it's hard to tie a user to their session, especially since our service has multiple installs. Each time the user leaves one install and moves to the next, a new recording is created.

If you have users id's you could pass them along to our system and be able to filter recordings by those variables (in this case user ids). Find out what visitors do on your website. Test A/B designs of your website Great testing for any marketing team and developer of any web-based product

Cons

Not always recording, or recording without viewport, you can see the user moving through the page but nothing showed to the viewer. Not compatible with all the caching system, my opinion.

Mouseflow is a great addition to our current analytics stack. Thanks to it, we found out we were getting some false positives in product usage through watching session replays from our users.

Pros

You can use your data any way you want. You can filter session replays, heatmaps, funnels and forms through built-in or custom parameters. Their support is great and responsive.

Cons

Depending on your product and website, some additional set up may be required to get everything you need. However, the support team is knowledgeable and available to make things run smoothly for you.
