We had a very poor experience, and we don't be considering it in the future.

Pros

There wasn't much that worked for us on this software, but customer service was responsive although not helpful.

Cons

Nothing seemed to work. Calls were always dropping, not coming through, showing as unavailable. A lot was promised to us when we signed up, and little to nothing was delivered.

Pros

We have used Jive for at least 4 years now, and are quite happy. I LOVE how we can just take a phone, plug it into the internet, and no matter where we are, we have an office. This is particularly valuable as we continue our growth, so we move into larger offices frequently, including opening an office in Puerto Rico. Their customer service is as good as it gets, always prompt and easy fixes. And the sound quality is unbelievable, its like they are in the room with you! I have recommended Jive many times.

Cons

Only bad thing is every few months we have to unplug and replug in a phone to reboot it. And if internet goes down, so does the phone.

Pros

accessibility and mobility of use is definitely key. i like that if i'm away from my office i can use the app. and i like the newest upgrade of it making it easier to hear voicemails

Cons

sometimes glitchy. there are times when i use the app and it doesn't come in clear. also, when i try to listen to the voicemail and push play and then speaker it seems maybe my fingers are too big because it closes and stops the playback

The connection on audio calls is not the best. I've had quite a few calls that drop.

Pros

We switched from onsip to Jive and the quality so far is better and easier to manage. Jive also has a lot of features that help manage a small office and I feel quite comfortable knowing we can grow with them. We received a great deal on new phones and tech support has been helpful.

Cons

So far nothing to dislike, keep focusing on the client!

### "Modern day phone system"

Pros

I like many features as I am always looking for VoIP and telephone options for my young business. I like many things: it's month-to-month and I can also add/subtract devices as needed. Jive doesn't lock you into a contract which is nice. Their interface is pretty intuitive, while being powerful at the same time. The dial plan editor is fabulous and makes setting up and changing an IVR much more simple than other tools I've used. I also love the ability to add call filters so that our company spends less time dealing with trash calls. Using my cell phone as a Jive "office" phone lets me always appear to be in the office, even if I'm on the beach on vacation. That's a great feature. The continued evolution and growth of the Jive platform, as well as the outstanding support are the key reasons for my recommendation to anyone considering Jive as their phone system provider.

Cons

It's a cloud service, however we have not been successful in getting a report of call history on a number for the past year. I have to call in and make a request from customer service.

Android app not nearly as good as iPhone app Would love for the password to be better integrated into the Apple Keychain.

Pros

Jive Voice is so easy and user-friendly. I am able to setup conference calls with people all over with little to no effort and the quality is almost always perfect.

Cons

The one negative I have experienced with Jive Voice is that the quality of your calls is somewhat dependent on the strength of your own network, and therefore can vary.

Pros

The automation and the features available with the system are great. We are in a remote location with a very old telecommunication switch so phone features were not available to us until we moved to Jive.

Cons

Off shore help desk result in different ways to set things up and depending on who you get will dictate how the changes you need will be applied. Because of this, we must call anytime we need a change.

Pros

At the start of switching over to Jive from CloudCall, I liked how clear the calls were and how frequently they stayed like that. Right when we rolled Jive out, things were great.

Cons

Everything about it after the first couple weeks. I literally wish every single day that we could switch back to CloudCall, as Jive has dropped repeatedly and continues to do so every day.

Spoke with Tech Support and they advised it's an issue they are working on. I would think this would be something that has already been tested for consistency and if it continues, we may need to find another vendor. We spend alot of money for marketing campaigns and can't rely on the Jive App to allow our employee's to receive calls only when the Jive App decides to work or not.

Pros

We are a mobile app company and all of our consumers either download our app from the app store or call our marketing numbers. I liked how we don't need a VOIP phone system or landline to use the Jive function for incoming consumer calls.

Cons

The Jive App has been inconsistent for our employee's to where we have to constantly test our marketing numbers to see if they ring through the Jive App on a daily basis. Many times only a few in our group will receive a call through the Jive App and some do not. We are constantly loggin in/out or reseting the Jive App to be able to receive incoming marketing calls.

I love that customer service and technical support email you their contact information so you don't have to call back and talk to a different agent about the same issue. They really go the extra mile to make sure that everything is the way it should be and that as a customer you are happy with the service. Jive was the best decision with regard to the administration of my business that I have made.

Pros

I absolutely love the ease of use and mobility of having a desktop phone and mobile app for when I am out of the office.I love the auto attendant and customization of the multi-line availability.

Cons

Setting up the system is a complex thing (lots of things to set up initially) but the customer assistance specialists are amazing and the functionality is worth much more than any time spent setting up.

We have been using Jive for almost a year. We started with only one phone for our helpdesk. We needed a way to transfer a single phone number between people to cover weekend and holidays. We previously had to drive to the building and make a forwarding change on a desk phone. By switching to a web PBX we can just login and make any changes necessary. We are now using the service for our Speakerphones and mobile staff.

Pros

We can have a single phone number to serve several shifts, even if they aren't in the same geographic region. We can use the smartphone app or forward the calls to one or more people, or all simultaneously. Adding phones is nearly painless, most users don't need to any new wiring, and you don't need to hire a technician.

Cons

We have occasionally had call quality issues, but this is more a reflection on the internet provider than on Jive. If you don't have an internet connection you can't make or receive a call, but again, this is an internet provider issue, not Jive.

It has been 95% positive, and the 5% that was difficult was fairly quickly solved with tech support.

Pros

Once you figure out/understand the functions that you will be using, its very easy to navigate.

Cons

It was a difficult to get initially set up, and can be confusing when you're trying to use a new feature. Finding the answers yourself is difficult, but the tech support is very helpful.

Pros

We moved over to Jive approximately two years ago. This move eliminated the need to have business lines AND cell phones. By having all our business lines forwarded to cell phones we reduced our overall phone costs by almost 75%. WE no longer have any business lines into our office and only use personal cell phones The initial set up was fairly easy, and the customer support and troubleshooting was very good. By moving over to Jive we had no down time when we moved to a new office location as our phone lines were already being forwarded to individual cell phones. Overall we are very pleased with the customer service provided by Jive and their service.

Cons

Don't have any complaints to speak of. Their follow through is very good, as well as customer service.

Always Accessible and Helpful whether forwarding phones, changing ring flows or just basic questions - they team is always helpful.

Pros

Very powerful for all needs and desires of function.

Cons

Sometimes the options are so extensive it can be overwhelming but support always helps. At present having an issue with a brand new router that is more secure than the old being on the DO NOT USE List so this is creating a bit of an issue but I'm hopeful it will get resolved.

Pros

The Jive team's customer service is fantastic - their people are not only willing to help, but they do so patiently and then ask how ELSE they can help. Their app integration works well. Their prices are very reasonable.

Cons

Having trouble getting the VOIP calls to be clear through our wireless system because we have a Comcast router. I'm not sure if other services would have this issue with Comcast as well... Their desktop app "Jitsi" is very glitchy - answering calls can be hit or miss, depending on if you have the right browser open.

Pros

Excellent pricing: Their pricing is one of the most competitive in the market. Easy navigation: Their dashboard and system are easy to use. Flexible set up: They are very flexible and reachable.

Cons

They don't have an external desktop app. Call recording is not within their system, you have to set up Amazon S3 for it.

Jive has worked very well for our small business. We are busy golf course and the ability to have calls transferred to our cell phones has been grea.

Pros

I've been using Jive for almost 2 years now and have been satisfied from the beginning. Our outdated system allowed us little flexibility and was quite expensive. With Jive we're able to change our hold system quite easily, as well as our voice mail message, etc. Jive is also great with providing statistics on calls received/made that can be quite useful, depending on the size of one's business. When I have needed technical assistance it's been fairly quick and I can understand everything they're telling me. I've been through a number of communications providers (with both my business and home) and I've been more satisfied with Jive than I have been with any other provider.

Cons

There was nothing about this product that I found to be negative.
