Its ok. Its a good service for the price. I like the phone they provided.

Pros

I like the software due to the price and the services it does offer. The products are great and the admin dashboard is great also.

Cons

The setup is very hard to do and I had to call support several times. The app does not work very well for which I depend on it greatly being out of the office so I had to modify and my a second number for my phone to have it forwarded to it. I know they are working on improving it.

Jive helped us tremendously by eliminating the need for CISCO systems which were very cumbersome and hard to make changes with. With Jive I can go in and do anything and everything with the system with minimal effort.

Pros

Very easy to use Admin platform. Can make changes as needed quickly and easily.

Cons

As with any VOIP system certain phones go out from time to time and require resets.

Pros

Jive Voice has been such a great improvement over our previous PBX system. The features and quality makes it the way to go as far as we are concerned.

Cons

There is a bit of a learning curve when setting this up. Their help desk people are great, once you are able to speak with someone. Their queue's do tend to be long at mid day.

Pros

Integration with our CRM (Redtail) to "click-to-dial". This not only saves a lot of time but avoids mis-dials.

Cons

Initial setup through Google Chrome was cumbersome.

Pros

I liked the fact it's web based dialer so avoid complications on software instalation and issues with Windows versions.

Cons

The call recording in a separate service as AWS Amazon. I prefer to have an integration inside the same portal.

Pros

My business line was really mostly used for receiving messages on an old answering machine. Now calls are routed directly to my cell and if a customer leaves a message it is sent to me in an audio file to my email. I never miss one, and they're documented with the sender's phone number and time of the call.

Cons

Calls won't come through to my cell if the app isn't running. A bit of a pain to remember and sometimes I need to "sign in . I never remember passwords and don't really like to "sign in with Facebook".

I love the fact that I have the option of changing items within the system. So easy to use! I can change my specials very easily.

Cons

It was a little difficult at first getting used to the system, but now works beautifully! I am not as tech savvy as I would like but I learned very quickly

Pros

We have used Jive in our office for several years and the service has worked well. A nice feature of their service is that we can host conference calls at our office number by simply setting up a designated extension. This has been helpful when working with clients and not having to worry about setting up a special conference call number and password. We can simply say, call our office.

Cons

There were some errors in their invoices recently. While it was all cleared up, it required numerous calls and messages from our office to follow up and make sure that things were taken care of.

The app is absolutely terrible. It takes forever to load. It constantly locks up, especially when connected to Bluetooth in my car. So far, i am very disappointed.

Pros

Price. It was pitched as a rival to ringcentral which i had before, but it isn't.

the app is terrible and your system for faxing is also terrible

Jive is a good product at a fair price and has the sort of support you'd expect for a major VOIP provider. The feature set is not quite what you'd get from some of the other providers, but Jive's prices are significantly lower.

Pros

Jive is one of the most affordable of the major VOIP providers out there. While it isn't as fully featured as something like Ring Central, it is also much more affordable and what you get is excellent at what it does. Also, the customer support is first rate.

Cons

The Jive setup for building phone trees is somewhat convoluted and problematic. The software is all well put togheter, but the interface and feature set just isn't there in the same way some of the other providers are.

Pros

I love Jive's voicemail to email service. It is really convenient to not have to long into my phone to listen to a message. Plus the return number is right there.

Cons

We have had a few outages that last a few hours but it hasn't happen that often. We call customer service they couldn't really explain why it was happening which was a little frustrating.

We are still ironing out the problems. The Jive router we purchased does not work with our ISP router. Phone reception is spotty. Need training on how to set up system.

Not great to have remote support, would be better to have local onsite support.

Easy to use and make changes to system on my own. Great support, whenever I call in. They seem to always be able to solve my issue right away.

Cons

I haven't come accross any cons so far. Overall, Jive seems to be a very efficiet phone system. We are a very small company, so maybe larger companies have had issues, but we never have.
