Overall, switching to Jive was a seamless process. The phones are current with times and are extremely easy to use.

Pros

I love the ease of use. The website allows you to log in and control your phone system and make changes any time it's needed. Updated features allow a company directory which is very handy when managing 19 store locations.

Cons

I'm still unsure on "parking a call". It's the only thing that does not seem easy and does not work for me half the time (user error)

It just works as it should. We have had no issue what so ever using Jive! Its works very smooth and you can not tell that we are on an VOiP phone line.

Pros

Very easy to use. I like Mobile system very much but once in awhile seem to have problem with interface. I have reinstalled a couple of times.

Cons

The Mobile for IOS seems a bit buggy from to to time. Today I am having a problem getting it to recognize my finger touching 1. I use two phones.

Pros

I like that everything is on line and paperless. I like how hard the customer service ppl try to help out they really make an effort. I also like the quick responses time of the faxes through Jive that let you know if a fax went thru or not.

Cons

The only con was the hold time to get customer service

We started on Jive when there were only four of us and we're still going strong at twelve. Our team relies on phone and inbound/outbound as a key part of our business. Jive's been very reliable and incredibly responsive when any hiccup has occurred. We have also benefited from Jive's willingness to allow us to participate in beta programs for SMS and Web Softphone which our team members really like.

Pros

Easy to provision new users, lines, and numbers Mobile app works great Rich dial plan editor Capable of main line, toll free, and direct dial all simultaneously

Cons

Getting Cisco SPA 303's set up to work with Jive is arduous. Troubleshooting can be difficult as there are so many configurable options with Jive.

We reduced our monthly phone bill by 50% and are no longer tied to traditional phone lines. We can transfer calls to any location, have on-hold music, and digital voicemail!

Pros

The setup was incredibly easy and the onboarding team was great to work with. The online dashboards provide a lot of flexibility and are user friendly. It is pretty much a plug & play system.

Cons

There are a few different places that users can login (either to their personal phone dashboard or the admin portal) and that is confusing. During the ordering process there is another setup of websites to use/view. Once we got it all setup the requirement to use these various sites is minimal.

Overall a great solution for just about any vertical.

Pros

Outstanding project management and customer service. Early available and reachable as well as knowledgeable and helpful. The product is full featured and easy to admin.

Cons

Some of the admin tasks took some training to understand and get used to so maybe not 100% intuitive. The end user apps are good, but I have seen better mobile and desktop apps.

We were able to save some money, and the customer service is a lot better than Comcast. However, the person that gave us a quote on our setup was wrong about how the system charges and we ended up paying more per month than we were expecting. We are still paying a little less than we were with Comcast, but we based our decision on that quote and it was really frustrating to find out that the numbers were wrong AFTER we had committed to a 1 yr contract.

Pros

I love being able to customize our call flow and use the phone and computer apps to access our business phone from anywhere.

Cons

We have had some trouble with the calls breaking up, but I think that the problem is more likely related to our internet service with Comcast.

Ease of setup and ability to make changes without extensive knowledge of phone systems. Can make changes on the fly. One price gave me all the features, there are no charges for "extras" and support is totally free.

took a long time to get the right wall mounts. Original ones sent were the wrong ones. Customer service was always friendly and willing to help whenever I contacted them. Love the gotomeeting services, and they constituted a big part of our desire to switch to Jive.

Pros

We eliminated the lag in speaking over the phone from our previous provider

Cons

I don't love having to set up and learn all our voicemail, hours, and new system in general. However; we felt it was worth it in the long run.

Pros

Jive is greater toward larger companies but the pricing allows smaller ones (like ours) to enjoy the software too. It's extremely feature rich and they seem to be developing new features all the time and keeping up with customers needs. I've used other platforms such as another Logmein property, Grasshopper. Jive is definitely the top.

Cons

It can take a little bit to get used to all the features and how they work.

That it's digital and doesn't need a phone line. The customer service rep . spoke to was really nice.

Cons

We have had problems with the fax feature not working. We are still having problems when we send a fax it will send the receiver 20 plus copies of one page.

Patient customer service. Stay with you until problem is solved. Staff is very well educated and knows how to solve problems.

Cons

None. I have not had any bad experiences. Anytime I have had an issue, customer service has stayed on the line until issue resolved.

We regularly have to reset our audiocodes for our fax machine which can be frustrating. Other than that, we've been very happy.
