### "Powerful cloud platform but a bit complex to learn"

April 15, 2026

4.0

Overall my experience with Azure has been good for day‑to‑day work. We use it for hosting apps, running VMs and storing data, and it handles most tasks without issues. Once things are configured properly it runs stable, but the setup part can take time and patience. I like the flexibility and the amount of tools available, but sometimes it feels like too much to learn at once. Still, it saves us time compared to managing everything on‑prem. For cloud work it’s been reliable and gets the job done.

Pros

What I like most about Azure is how many services it gives in one place. At work we use it for VMs, storage and some app hosting, and it’s pretty reliable once everything is set up right. The dashboard is clean and I can find most things without digging too much. Scaling resources is easy, I can bump things up or down without restarting whole systems. The monitoring tools help a lot when something is acting weird. I also like that it connects well with other Microsoft tools we already use, so it fits into our workflow without extra steps.

Cons

Some parts of Azure feel confusing, especially when you’re trying to set up something new. There are too many menus and sometimes I forget where a setting is. Pricing can get tricky too, because small things add up fast if you don’t watch usage. A few times deployments failed for no clear reason and I had to redo them. Debugging errors isn’t always straightforward, the messages can be vague. Also the portal can be slow at times, especially when switching between services.

### "A natural cloud extension to the Microsoft stack"

April 16, 2026

4.0

Overall, Azure is at its strongest when integrated alongside existing Microsoft infrastructure. Its similarities to Active Directory provide a real advantage for organisations that already leverage or are familiar with microsoft tools, helping to soften any move towards cloud operations. With that in mind however, as with all of the major cloud providers, its ecosystem is vast and easy to mismanage if you don't keep a strict eye on resource cost and configurations.

Pros

Azure fits comfortably into environments that are already ebedded into the Microsoft ecosystem, with Active Directory etc - especially through Entra and hybrid setups. It allows easier extension to existing authentication and permissions, and policies can be remodeled into the cloud rather than recreating entirely from scratch. As a cloud provider it is quite mature and broad, so once the foundations are in place it can cover the vast majority of infrastructure needs within their ecosystem.

Cons

Azure can often feel like an extension of the on-premise microsoft stack rather than a standalone addition, which in some cases is good but in others restrictive. If you are used to ADDS on-prem, many features and interactions will feel familiar, but added cloud services and policy layers, joined with pricing models, can add a lot of extra complexity.

### "Azure review"

March 13, 2026

3.0

Microsoft Azure is a very powerful cloud platform, but it was more than we needed and became difficult and expensive to manage over time. We ultimately moved off Azure to a private hosting cloud solution because costs were hard to predict and the platform changed frequently, making administration challenging.

Pros

Extremely powerful and flexible cloud platform. Strong security and infrastructure options and scales well for complex or enterprise‑level environments. Integrates well with other Microsoft products.

Cons

Pricing is complex and can escalate quickly, making budgeting difficult. Frequent platform changes increase the administrative burden thus requires significant technical expertise to manage properly. Overkill for organizations that don’t need enterprise‑level cloud services.

### "Azure - Engi"

April 17, 2026

5.0

Overall, my experience using Azure to build and host infrastructure has been very positive due to its strong balance of scalability, security, and ease of management. The seamless integration of RBAC with Entra ID simplifies identity and access control, making it easier to enforce least-privilege principles across environments. I’ve found that deploying resources through Infrastructure as Code is straightforward and efficient, which helps streamline workflows and maintain consistency. While there are occasional bugs or unexpected issues, they are typically manageable and outweighed by the platform’s robust capabilities and continuous improvements.

Pros

I enjoy using Azure to stand up and host infrastructure because it provides a flexible and scalable platform that aligns well with modern cloud design principles. The integration of RBAC with Entra ID makes access control seamless, allowing me to manage permissions in a centralized and secure way. I also appreciate how easy it is to deploy and manage resources using Infrastructure as Code, which helps ensure consistency and repeatability across environments. Overall, Azure simplifies both the deployment and governance of infrastructure, making it a reliable choice for building robust systems.

Cons

While I do occasionally run into bugs or platform quirks, the overall experience and capabilities Azure provides still make it a strong choice for building and managing infrastructure. Microsoft's support can sometimes be slow to resolve issues. This is dependent on your support plan.

### "Great Product for Enterprise Environments "

May 19, 2026

5.0

I use Microsoft Azure daily to provide administrative tasks, monitor and configure Conditional Access Policies, monitor firewall rules Risky Users report. Overall, it provides a great service and value.

Pros

Microsoft Azure gives us the ability to manage devices (corporate or BYOD), utilize Conditional Access Policies, and also provide other security measures in order to provide and sustain a stable work and network environment.

Cons

Microsoft Azure can be slow to provide certain information or details in real time. The reporting for devices and apps takes quite some time to provide info such as the sync time for a device and also if a Conditional Access Policy was successfully added to the device.

### "Reliable Cloud Platform - Microsoft azure"

April 27, 2026

5.0

My overall experience with Microsoft Azure is good. It is a powerful cloud platform with useful features. It helps in easy deployment and managing applications. It can be a bit complex at first, but becomes easier with use. Overall its a very good product.

Pros

My Company using Microsoft Azure since last 2 years. Its a very cost effective solution. So many services are available. Little bit technical but when you learn it its like a piece of a cake. Once you learn it the implementation of different services will become very easy. Technical support is very good. Sometimes there are some small bugs but not major. Azure Monitor and Log Analytics are good tools for debugging.

Cons

Sometimes Azure pricing feels confusing and can become high especially with usage based billing like per second charges. Also, it takes time for new users to understand everything. Little bit complex architecture.

### "Azure - the most stable"

April 22, 2026

5.0

It has been good so far. When AWS experienced their major outage last year or some of these micro-outages we were completely fine on Azure.

Pros

How simple it was compared to other providers to migrate our on prem servers to the cloud environment.

Cons

Some of the administrative panels could use some polish so it is easier to find specific settings. Otherwise nothing really that we don't like.

### "Gets the job done but complex"

April 28, 2026

5.0

Overall my experience with Azure is positive, it gets the job done but it can be very complex to learn at first due to all the options available.

Pros

What I enjoy the most about Microsoft Azure is that it offers a lot of customizations and features. You can get very niche into the customizations that suit configuring your IT infrastructure. It is also very simple to deploy too, with a very helpful logs section to view any misconfigurations, bugs or see what is going wrong.

Cons

The one thing I like least about Microsoft Azure is the complexity it takes when you first try to learn it. You are overwhelmed with so many options. For user management and IT infrastructure compared to other vendors.

### "A feeling of security"

April 4, 2026

5.0

Overall, it has been excellent. We feel very secure using it, especially with the fine control over the network security groups.

Pros

We use microsoft azure at our company to run almost all of our infrastructure because of the security aspect. We run a hub and spoke network and execute the setup of resources using terraform.

Cons

The website can be quite slow at times, and the navigation is a pain. Often times, clicking back brings you to the top level login of the site (portal.azure.com) instead of the previous menu.

5.0

As a manager of a help desk who has to be a systems admin sometimes Azure makes it easy to work on multiple things at once. When we are working on VMs and need to access some identity management we still can and thats helpful.

Pros

Although Azure has changed I still like how some feature sets from Entra are availble to change in Azure. Deploying VMs for customers is awesome and really easy to use. The documentation is extensive and very helpful.

Cons

I honestly didnt like when identity management left Azure and split into Entra ID, it made things confusing.

### "A Comprehensive and Scalable Cloud Platform with Room for UI Improvements"

April 5, 2025

5.0

My experience with Azure has been very positive overall. It’s a powerful and reliable cloud platform that scales well for both startups and large enterprises. The platform continues to evolve, with regular updates and innovations. Despite the occasional learning curve, Azure provides a solid foundation for deploying and managing cloud-based solutions, especially when working in enterprise or hybrid environments.

Pros

Microsoft Azure offers a vast range of services that cater to almost every cloud need—from virtual machines and app services to AI, machine learning, and DevOps tools. One of its greatest strengths is its deep integration with Microsoft products like Active Directory, Visual Studio, and Office 365, which makes it incredibly convenient for enterprises already in the Microsoft ecosystem. I also appreciate the global infrastructure, security standards, and flexibility in configuring resources. The Azure DevOps suite, in particular, is a strong asset for managing CI/CD pipelines and project tracking.

Cons

The user interface can be unintuitive and cluttered, especially for beginners. Navigating between services or finding specific configurations sometimes takes more clicks than necessary. Documentation, while extensive, can be inconsistent in quality and often assumes prior knowledge. Cost estimation tools could also be improved for better forecasting and budget management.

### "Azure provided us enterprise-grade infrestructure with flexibility."

June 20, 2025

5.0

Azure provided us the control around scaling and compliance. It minimized friction in CI/CD deployments and allowed us to transition from legacy systems to a secured, modern cloud architecture.

Pros

We use Azure to host our core services and drive hybrid infrastructure. The interface to Active Directory and role-based access is quite good. There's a great levelling agent for DevOps pipelines, VMs and container orchestration here.

Cons

Transparency in billing isn’t always so simple, though. And bear in mind that new engineers need to be adequately ramped up because of the breadth of the platform.

Pros

From an admin perspective, there are a great number of tools at your disposal for apps and hybrid environments

Cons

Microsoft's weakest points continue to be their customer service and changes that they make to the admin portals; one new change breaks or replaces good things that they had going.

Pros

What a great solution. Getting free from the headache maintaining on premises infrastructure and managing it is now possible with Microsoft azure and that will help IT team. To focus purely on business demands. We as a company use at for running business applications and that really help us to save good amount of cost and deliver services to end users with good cost efficiency.
