Pros: A great Desktop version program allow you to develop and test dashboards, ETL functions directly from your PC, without necessary have a dedicated server machine. State-of-the-art data discovery software, offering a self-service BI because with small session training (e-learning or teacher) you can become familiar with the program. Qlik organizes certification programme courses divided into 4 levels of difficulty throughout the country.

It has an associative engine (QIX) that allows all cloud data to be filtered. Offers historicization in QVD according to maximize data processing speed.

Offers a multitude of connectors to different databases

Cons: This platform, as the other Qlik products are not possible to install or run (For the desktop version) in macOS.

The first investment for the minimum pack (ex Small Business Edition) is expensive, instead maintenance has a negligible cost. _Courses and certifications programmes are very expensive and are not easy to pass with success.

It requires a lot of ram in the server. Data can not be consulted in real time. You can not launch Reload directly from the front end (useful for 99% of customers).

Connectors (especially those at SAP) cost a heresy!

Overall: allows the business user to make innovative decisions
