They are very prompt to respond to inquiries and have even redesigned parts of the platform to work better for our business model. \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] was responsive, even through the "work from home" period! Pros The customizable product helps us to make an informed decision when purchasing a vehicle. Integrated with NADA and MMR as well as live, local market information, takes the guess work out of taking a vehicle in on trade. It also has an easy to use inventory management system that helps keep track of our inventory. Cons We are a somewhat small business, so the expense is tough to manage some months. This does not mean that the product is too expensive, because it is invaluable in helping us to not make mistakes in buying, just as a small business we are challenged with our options. April 30, 2019 4.0 See above Pros Overall, a nice product, but with a few tweaks, could be a absolute home run! Really like the layout of both the app and the desktop. It is very nice having myself, along with 3 others logged in to the same program, all at once and on both the app and the desktop! Searching competitors sales is also a nice feature. Cons Unfortunately, there are a few bugs. The VIN scanner is in need of improvement. At time, it is slow to read the barcodes. The other problem I have is how slow the app works at certain auctions. Specifically Manheim Auto Auction. The final bug that needs worked out is the manner in which the app stores vehicles. If you rescan a vehicle from a previous scan, the program should move it to the top of the list of vehicle scans, but it does not. It keeps it in the spot it was originally, which makes it hard to find. Review Source JT Jacob T. It needs some work especially on the inventory management side but is intuitive to use and performs well. Pros I love the layout and design, its mobile first approach, and the mentality shift of constantly monitoring the online marketplace via dealer websites. Cons There are key absent functions that it very much needs to deploy. A vehicle history log, photo uploading for multiple vehicles at once, access to the Carfax from a RevCue VDP, a search inventory bar more broadly deployed (like on VDPs) and more robust Overlay control are a few features and functions that we need in this software that we don't have. Additionally, the nature of the automatic competitive set filters prioritize things other than our primary differentiators when considering what vehicles to include as relevant in a search, and that has been a pain point for us since we first came on board. And the customer service is like no other. Incredible experience all the way around. The executive is always available to walk me through different insights in this product. Cant say enough about her or the App. Cons The only negative think I could say if anything is at the beginning it was a little slow on Android base vs. Iphone. I have referred 20 group members of mine to them and they have switched back to vauto because the data wasn't accurate. I wish they would work the bugs out. Pros The price is very competitive. It works well as an appraisal tool. Cons Some of the features don't work well or at all. The scoring system is useless and the comparables on the used cars are not vin decoded and sometimes will compare vehicles that aren't the same. e.g. reg. cab trucks compared to crew. 2wd compared to 4wd etc Review Source LS Lindsey S. Pros This software is easy to navigate, self explanatory, and requires no training. I was able to pick it up and use within a business day. Cons I use it in regards to uploading photos, I am often irritated that each photo must be manually deleted, and cannot be bulk deleted. April 12, 2019 4.0 Transition has been a bit rocky and the issues described above are a bit of a concern, but the staff at VinCue have been very responsive to addressing our concerns quickly and efficiently. Pros I like the dashboards and the ability to see a lot of information per screen. Cons As with any new software you have to adjust to the nuances that are different than what you are accustomed to. Users have had some issues with it being inconsistent when updating inventory such as changes not saving. There is also a bit of a problem with latency. Some of the navigation isn't very intuitive. Number one thing I like the least is that there is no information or link within the software to contact support. I wish the website was more user friendly when trying to appraise a car. Pros Gives you information about the history of the truck for example is it was for sale at another dealership and what the price was. Cons When you look at the similar vehicles, the vehicles are not even comparable. They somethings have fwd mixed in with awds. Sometime trim levels are not even the same. I use it at the auction and I can have values instantly. I like how it shows vehicles similar to what I scanned that is for sale around me from other dealers so I can do competitive pricing. Modern looking, good color choices so it isn't an eye sore. Cons Horrible mobile app, shouldn't have released one without the ability to upload photos of our inventory. The people that moved our inventory system from V-auto to Vincue didn't do a very good job, vehicles were mislabeled, incorrectly categorized, and they randomly added a few vehicles that have never existed on our lot yet somehow they went in and added a bunch of info on specific details that didn't actually exist. Also like having comparisons from local and dealerships outside of our area. carfax also helpful.Plus having everything right in front of you makes my job a lot easier. Cons sometimes hard to get scan to read.At times try multiple vins and it just don't pick up a read unless lined up just right. This slows the process of a deal. Time is money in our industry. also all comparisons are not completey accurate.
