Making all these emails consistent across our many tools was a real challenge, but Stripo changed everything. By allowing us to create beautiful, on-brand emails and easily embed them as HTML wherever we need, Stripo gave us the consistency and professionalism we were looking for. It’s been a true game-changer for our communication! Pros We’ve been using Stripo since 2020 and absolutely love it! Before discovering Stripo, we struggled to build clean, on-brand emails using the mediocre editors built into most email platforms. All platforms have their own automated emails, but since they all allow HTML embeds, Stripo has been the perfect solution for us. It allows for a consistent email and brand experience across our entire toolstack—and trust me, as event organizers, we use a lot of different tools! The platform makes it easy to create flawless, sleek emails that perfectly represent our brand aesthetic. The interface is clean and intuitive, making the whole process smooth and enjoyable. To give some context: I am a developer who used to work for a design agency in the UK, but I now work for a Not-For-Profit in a regional town in Australia. We face two challenges: limited funding, and a pervasive stereotype that regional NFP communications are clunky, outdated, and non-responsive. I wanted to radically change that perception. My goal was to ensure every piece of communication we send to our clients is intuitive, responsive, and beautifully designed. Stripo is the tool that allowed us to bridge that gap between high ambition and limited resources. It allows us to "punch above our weight." I can now create templates and customise them to suit any scenario, resulting in emails that look modern and stylish yet consistent branding throughout. The result is that our community is actually interested in consuming our information now. Stripo has empowered us to bring big-agency standards to a regional non-profit, and for that, I am sincerely thankful to the whole team. Pros Coming from BeeFree, Stripo absolutely tops the list for us. As a developer, the specific technical flexibility is what wins me over. Workflow Integration: The ability to export clean code as HTML files is vital. It allows us to seamlessly inject designs into our internal systems - specifically Microsoft Power Automate and our website backend - to send triggered, automated emails directly from our environment while keeping the design impeccable. AMP HTML: The native support for AMP allows us to make our emails interactive rather than static, which is a rare feature to find implemented this well. Efficiency: The "Modules" system is brilliant. We can build reusable headers, footers, and content blocks that ensure brand consistency without re-coding every time. Support: This deserves its own mention. It is hands down the best customer service I have dealt with in a long time. They are responsive, technically literate, and incredibly helpful. Cons Honestly, it is hard to find a fault. If I had to pick one thing, it is simply that I wish we had switched over sooner. However, my experience as an affiliate partner was disappointing. I understand that Stripo has the right to establish advertising restrictions, but I believe significant changes to affiliate policies should be communicated clearly to existing partners, especially when those changes can affect commissions that have already been generated. I contacted Stripo to request clarification about when the current policy became effective, what the previous terms stated, and how existing affiliates were notified. I am currently waiting for their response. Pros Stripo.email is a useful email design platform with a convenient drag-and-drop editor and a good selection of email templates. The platform makes it relatively easy to create professional-looking email campaigns without extensive coding knowledge. Cons The biggest issue for me was the way the affiliate team handled the situation. The communication felt very one-sided: a decision was made against my affiliate account and commissions, but there seemed to be little consideration for the partner who had invested time and resources into generating business for Stripo. On the dashboard: the terms page on stripo.email is the binding version. If anything in the dashboard reads differently, treat the website as current and tell us. We are adding the key rules and a link to the terms inside the dashboard, and looking at how changes to the terms are announced, so they are easier to find. We also review every new application and do not accept plans built on search ads. If you are not sure whether a traffic source is allowed, message us before you spend on it. Cons The platform can be a little buggy from time to time, and we've had some downtime in short spells, but a reasonable trade-off and never very serious. June 24, 2024 5.0 Pros I love that I can make different and unique emails rather than using the limited templates in our regular CRM. We've gotten great feedback from our volunteers and parents that they love to engage with our Stripo emails. We've seen an increase of 5% in our open rate since we started using them! I like how easy it is to use their editor and that I don't need to have a vast knowledge of HTML. I can get by with beginner to intermediate knowledge. Their support is very responsive and fantastic to work with. We also are a nonprofit, and they have a very generous nonprofit discount for the PRO tier. I cannot recommend Stripo enough to other nonprofits! Cons The free version is limited in terms of what it can export and to which CRMs. Also, this can be tough to use if you don't know HTML. With Stripo, team members have access limitations accordingly to their function: email designers, copywriters, proofreaders… And it’s priceless when you can simply roll email template back to any version, really prevents mistakes and time losses. But what I experienced first: Brand Guidelines generator, and support of custom fonts. They bring email strategy to a new level, and it’s enough just to give Stripo system link to your web resource, or send other samples of corporate design. The rest is done by their smart cyber brains ))) Wait a bit, and Stripo will send a brand guideline kit where all the design is ready to use. As for fonts, it’s another opportunity to build a company identity. I have a font designed exclusively for our company by professional designers. It’s a part of our brand’s face, so to say. I uploaded it, used it for banner, and then tested the result. It’s unbelievable but design was neither damaged nor simplified by any default fonts, our banner looks as planned in all environments. But then I was advised to try Stripo. And it was really surprising. Their brand guidelines feature made everything for us, I had only to show them our website. Unbelievable but I received a set of guidelines in minutes! Pros An option of brand guidelines builder. It’s easy-peasy to work with, enough to send to Stripo samples of your brand style. Notice that one can save not only entire emails but also separate parts. Really saves time and prevents the absurd boring work when you have to build the same parts like headers/footers which remain the same from email to email. Pros It’s not easy to highlight something specific. Fantastic design, AMP features, multiple elements to embed… Well, I can say some words about their library. Strange but fact, this feature seems to be an obvious must-have… but it was so rare in email building tools for a long time. Everything is obviously made with a real care about the user, and it’s impossible to find any email marketing trend that is impossible to implement with Stripo. As I stated above, the best option for me is 2 in 1 builder. Amazing opportunity for those who deal with custom elements! Pros Here are lots of good things, but what I liked most of all is opportunity to work in two modes, HTML editor and regular drag-n-drop builder. We also made sure using templates that we were reducing the error margin of the mail content, knowing that the format is similar to that used by large companies. Pros I started using stripo when I started the campaigns of the Mailmarketing company. It was very easy for me, especially because of the large number of templates that it has. The free version allows you to download a reasonable number of templates, which I could use effectively for my first marketing campaign. Being able to do everything from the web, without the need for software, is really useful. Another very important thing is that you can export the template in different formats, in my case I did it in html to send the campaign with other software (which mainly works with HTML). I never had a problem and so far it has been the most practical thing I have used in this matter. Cons It has some watermarks (I understand that for the free version) that are not visible, but when the mail is sent the first line of text (in the preview of the mail) has the stripe mark. I found how to remove it and it is not so serious, I also understand that it is proper to use the platform for free. Beyond that, I did not find any other point against this software. Easily copy templates you've already created and customize them each time. Drag in photos, links, fonts, colors, etc. Easily integrate them with MailChimp to send to the specific audience. Cons Some editing/design features are limited. You can't fully customize the text to make the line height different, or wrap text around images, causing some limit of design.
