It takes a bit of time to get up to speed on the features and functionality, but once familiar with it all the process works well, and online help has been great, as has more personalized help. Having RoomSketcher techs do the initial drawings saved me a lot of time and expense, that is a tremendous feature and quick turnaround time makes it a no-brainer to use. Pros The ability to have an initial drawing created from blueprints by RoomSketcher Cons It takes some practice to use the interface, some features are not the most intuitive. Also, only 30 days to make changes to downloaded files can be problematic given review times from clients that is out of my control. Die 3D Ansichtsqualität und muss aber dringend optimiert werden. Pros Relativ einfacher Zugang, intuitives Handling. Allerdings braucht es natürlich viel Vorverständnis. Die 3D-Generierung von eigenen 2D Grundrissen funktioniert gut und innerhalb 24 Stunden. Die daraus von RoomSketcher generierten 3D Grundrisse müssen bearbeitet werden, sind aber gut weiterverwendbar - auch im Vergleich zu Wettbewerbs-Produkten. For the individual user having a great back up support is a major plus. Your services model where are you? Support design is a major plus compared with any other program in the marketplace. Pros Extremely easy to use, and you have brought a new dimension into the landscape and design program industry. Initially, my plan is to check out and then use it in summer for our buildings which we won in some other countries. I believe that reposition us into a totally new different category. Pros Not much experience because to use it you have to pay 120 dollars ontop of the subsription fee. Cons Extremely Expensive. Pros RoomSketcher has a lot of user-friendly features and options. The blueprint upload option to be able to trace floorplans, the floorplan generators and 360 view generators, the options of adding your own personal logos and disclaimers on plans and the adding measurement tools are some of my favorites. Also, the customer support is prompt and thorough. Cons RoomSketcher cannot accommodate vaulted ceilings of all varieties, which makes it restrictive in this day and age. If you have a technical brain like mine, you will learn the in and outs of this program in few days or less. Go pro with Home Designer, its the best investment. Pros I loved the many options it provided and the walk around views. Invaluable when showing off to potential clients. The pricing is really good for yearly use. I would do the vip pricing. They use real products from the real store. If you want the unlimted catalog you have to pro. Impressive and easy to learn. Cons If you go free or vip the program is very limiting. I think the more you use the, the more valuable it becomes because you are better at making modifications on your own through the app. Pros I like how easy it was to attach a plan and get my initial drawing back within 24hrs. Cons Revisions were not always handled as well as initial drawing. It seemed like the initial drawing was done by a program given some odd mistakes. E.g. Fridge in front of cabinet or tv on the ground. Reason for choosing RoomSketcher Speed of response and 3D walkthrough were the draws. Director Environmental Services Used the software for: I used a free trial ### "Great free trial" January 16, 2020 5.0 Loved it. I was able to plan and visualise a space without paying a cent. If we decide to proceed with the project then I will probably pay for the professional suite. Pros I was able to download and create a virtual office space in an evening. While options with the free trial are limited, there were more than enough to create the look and feel I was after. The program is highly intuitive and easy to use (although I do use GIS and graphing software packages in my work). The 3D walk through is only available if you pay, but the camera snapshots are a great way to visualize what the space will look like without paying money. $99 for an annual subscription sounds reasonable, and there are also options to go 3D for $20 or get added materials for $20 etc. Intro vidio was helpful. Cons The ability to paint a highlight wall would be good - I assumed the professional package would enable that, but another comment suggests this might not be the case. Can be tricky to place things on tables, or in bookshelves, but probably just needs a little more time and energy. It is definitely possible.
