Pros: Has the architecture I need to roll out a structured and scalable worldwide hire & selection process. Easy to set up backend APIs to connect to the other applications I use today. Priced competitively. Great post-sales customer experience team. Great online training support for new users.

Cons: I'd love to see "free" on-boarding of new EEs and ongoing training. A certification process for recruiters. A few more customizable bells and whistles. A more robust mobile app.

Overall: easy to launch and use.

My experience has been positive with Greenhouse. We love the product and help from our CSM.

Pros: The scheduling feature is really great in Greenhouse. It's eliminated a lot of the back-end work that is required to schedule an interview, and tells the scheduler where each candidate is at in the process.

Cons: I dislike that there is not an interview kit option for the "Take home test" that allows you to schedule when a test is sent out, and know when it is received.

Very supportive implementation team; easy for non-tech people!

Pros: Greenhouse is very easy to use. We had no issues with the set up, importing candidate resumes, and setting up our process flows in a way that makes sense to everyone, even casual users (hiring managers).

Cons: It takes a bit of focus to get the hang of the search but the support team assisted us and now we are proficient.

Overall: We were able to quickly implement and build a great database of well qualified candidates. We now have a central place where colleagues in remote locations can be aware candidates, interviews and hires. Also, we can respond quickly to the hiring needs of our organization and scale for contract wins.

Pros: - The interview kits and scorecards are great. Easy for my team and for interviewers to use.
- The UI has continued to get better over the years; clearly the product is continually being improved and new features being built.
- The live chat feature is really helpful (I've used it many times), though it's been a little confusing knowing if we had an Account Manager to call with questions; I believe we had one when we first signed, then were told later we no longer had one, now we have one again?
- Lots of helpful integrations, with G-Suite, Docusign, Linkedin Recruiter, etc.

Cons: - Reporting functionality is rather lacking. I find it not useful and challenging to use. My team uses excel sheets outside of Greenhouse to manually track all our metrics, like time to fill and how many screens it took to get to a hire.
- Pricing spikes if your employee count grows, so you may be paying significantly more for the same product in a year or two.
- Keeping track of passive or prospective candidates is nearly impossible. Unless someone is an active candidate in an active job, it's likely I'll lose track of them.

Pros: I like the customizable features that Greenhouse offers. It allows you to adjust various items of your workflow to meet your company's needs. There is so much Greenhouse can do in the way of making your workflow process smooth for hiring efficiency. You just need to spend the time laying out the process so it is set up how you want.

Cons: Greenhouse is still in a major growth phase. As a result, your rep/Customer Service team often responds with "that isn't a feature we offer right now" to just about every question you ask them. They are big on pushing the blame onto something other than themselves (your IT team, a third party vendor, etc). The reps are inconsistent, we have had great reps and then we have had reps that are hardly present. There is a large turnover there so you don't get the chance to develop a true relationship with anyone.

Pros: It's so easy to train new users. The software is intuitive and new users pick it up quickly. It has been really cool to see all the new features added over the years.

Cons: In the past year, I have seen a drastic increase in glitches and bugs with the site. I've submitted more tickets to support and have had to find more workarounds for things like calendars not syncing. Additionally, the accuracy of the reporting feature could use some extra attention.

Overall: Having access to all candidate history, contact info and feedback is a lifesaver when it comes to recruiting and compliance. Greenhouse also helps us establish and follow a clear recruiting process.

Pros: The implementation turned out to be easy and straight forward, with great customer support along the way...
Creating new job openings is simple, with many items easy to customize to our specific process. Creating new candidate profiles is straight forward with the integrated CV parsing. Generally speaking, navigating through the system is smooth and dummy-proof.
Greenhouse helped us reach the next step of our business grow and development, with standard Talent Acquisition processes in all our geographical locations across the globe, while always proposing applicants a professional experience. And just as importantly, it helps us share information and integrate totally the Talent Acquisition functions within the "business" functions, facilitating exchanges with interviewers and hiring managers.

Cons: Due to data privacy protection compliance, we cannot provide access to Greenhouse to all our workforce, which limits the capacity of employees to make direct referral

Overall: faster recruitment cycle, better internal communication with all stakeholders involved in the Talent Acquisition process.

Pros: -How warm and user friendly it is - helps with manager utilization!
-Interview kits are manager friendly - easy to access and have all the info needed

Cons: -Permission settings not having full customization (I know this is being worked on!)
-Reporting having more visual chart dashboards that you can filter; not just sheets
-Lack of Craigslist integration

Pros: Greenhouse is both intuitive and adaptable. It promotes best practices (e.g. structured interview process and scorecard model) and facilitates easy collaboration with hiring managers (e.g. @ mention feature). On top of that, the staff provide excellent service (e.g. online chat support, and our extremely responsive Account Manager, Ben) and the product is constantly improving.

Cons: Would appreciate a new job template to capture enterprise-wide best practices (e.g. competency-based hiring models) and a provision for printable interview guides based on the scorecard. That said, the Support team constantly solicits feedback and releases quarterly upgrades - these features may be included by the time you're reading this!

Overall: Flexibility, ease of use, best practices in assessment and hiring team collaboration, and excellent service and support.

Good look & feel and gets the job done.

Pros: Greenhouse is user friendly and pretty straight forward. Very few employees complain or get lost in the product.
It keeps the Recruiting, Finance and HR team(s) on the same page and helps us hire quickly and efficiently.

Cons: Reporting. There are still several areas for improvement within metrics and reporting.
The scheduling tool has gotten better but I think other ATS' do a little better here.

Overall: Hiring in a timely manner.

I've implemented Greenhouse at two tech companies and in both instances have seen great results.

Pros: I like that the software is easy to use (both for the Recruiting team and for the Hiring Managers/Interviewers) and it is very intuitive. It takes minimal training for employees to learn how to navigate and manage the system.

Cons: I with the reporting capabilities were a little more robust and dynamic. I think they're making improvements on this in their product roadmap though. The mobile app is getting better as well.

Pros: Really like the automated process with this software. Being able to rate applicants and each steps of the hiring process is a great feature.

Cons: Too many options and takes a lot of time for the initial set up. You can get lost trying to set up these features taking away from actual work.

Pros: I love how easy to use Greenhouse is. With very little training, my team went from recruiting via email to adopting and embracing the system within months. Scorecards help to inform our executives about hiring decisions, and the reporting gives my team real metrics to back-up or improve our processes.

Cons: All of my cons are likely future feature roadmap items. For instance, I would like to repost a job (on job boards) without having to create a new job ID (by duplicating the role). I would love to have an kanban board view when looking at an open role.

I don't know what I would do without Greenhouse.

Pros: The simplicity of it. It's easy to use for all users. I like the scorecards function. I love the ease of adding candidates/referrals etc.

Cons: The reporting is hard and when it exports to excel, it's always a mess. I also hate the dashboard. I miss the days it went straight to my jobs.

Pros: The functionality of building specific interview plans. The ease of adding interviewers to the process and the ability to compare interview feedback is great.

Cons: Talent banking does need a lot of work. The internal job board is also something we have tried to push with Greenhouse for some time however continue to be told it is not a priority at that point. We are now 18 months in...

Pros: Not only is Greenhouse easy to use, evolves with our business, offers new features and functionality but the Customer Support and Account Managers really listen to feedback. After discussing questions on chat I often make suggestions for future features to add to the product roadmap - the amazing part is seeing my suggestions come to life! Being a Greenhouse user for the past two years I have seen many of my ideas added and my Account Manager always adds a personal touch by letting me know when my ideas will go live.

Cons: Being in Ops and an Admin I always wish for more flexibility and customized options for users' permissions and reporting. Greenhouse offers other options to meet our needs but I would love to be able to build my own unique permission sets, reports, and dashboards.

Pros: No glaring holes in the tools a small-to-medium sized organization needs to track, manage, evaluate, and hire candidates.

Lots of push-button integration partners to drive downstream workflows, such as Background Screening, and HRIS export.

Cons: Heavy configureability means heavy variation between customer setups. This is true in nearly every software solution, not just Greenhouse.

It would be great to see Greenhouse take more of a lead in providing good examples of objective candidate evaluations. Scorecards that coach interviewers on how to objectively evaluate certain attributes, etc...there's plenty of research out there on preventing bias in interviews, and how evaluate candidates more objectively. We'd welcome Greenhouse to take away some of the 'configurability' in favor of stronger leadership on evaluating technical and non-technical qualities objectively and without bias during interview.

BambooHR, an HR Information System, does a great job of leading their customers by designing functionality that support best practices in performance review, performance management, and goal setting. They simply don't allow their customers to configure their way out of doing good reviews. They explain the research behind employee engagement, good reviews, and stick to their guns. This is good industry leadership, Greenhouse could learn from that.

"Choose your own path" isn't always the best.

I love Greenhouse. It's pretty user friendly and has a lot of features that are easy to use!

Pros: Best parts about Greenhouse - setting up jobs, getting candidate through the pipeline, and making offers.

Cons: Integration with DocuSign isn't super seamless. There are a lot of small functions that are helpful, but communication of these new functions isn't super great.

Comments: Greenhouse overall has been a great investment for our growing tech startup

Pros: The user interface and experience for candidates is really quick and easy and looks good. Pretty easy to integrate with other systems.

Cons: Reporting is really weak. There are only some canned reports to choose from. Almost always have to run a bunch and then do Vlookups to get all that I need. Very painful process.

Comments: I did the trial of this software. Ended up not going with Greenhouse but with another ATS

Pros: Automates the recruiting process, helps us recruit at scale. All recruiters that we hire like using it, so helps them get excited to work here. Intuitive to use

Cons: Too many options in the initial set up phase. I want to hop in and get to work. Found myself taking sometime to fully finalize the process before I could enjoy the software

Comments: The best ATS I've used to date- the reporting on the tool is incredible making it seamless to show where there may be issues / bottlenecks in pipeline. Scheduling is a dream with the different integrations. The built in templates make it easy for small teams to perform like a well oiled machine. I can't say enough great things about a tool that really understands the millions of tasks one person in HR performs. This tool makes my small team of three look and feel like a team of 10 with all its functionality. Definitely worth the money you'll make up in no time with happy candidates ready to work for a well tuned organization. It Really is so important to have a seamless process, greenhouse helps tracking to make sure no candidate/task falls through the cracks.

Pros: Every aspect of GreenHouse is amazing, Full cycle recruiting / talent system with HR perks! Full integrations make it easy to love

Cons: I'll admit I just started working with Greenhouse, but I'm definitely used my fair share of ATS- I have yet to find one thing wrong with this tool other than the pricing structure (which isn't huge - just more of a growing pain for a start up)

Pros: When you are using Greenhouse, you are simplifying the recruiting process without having to give up a lot. Hiring Managers have full insight into their roles and seeing who, what and where they are in the full process.

Cons: Greenhouse has seemed to lack the consistency to keep up with the growing presence of ATS in the space. They have been the leader for sometime, but they need to grow out their CRM, data and excel prompts. When I look at Lever, there are a lot of things they are brining to the table, that leaves me to question - what is Greenhouse building out or improving on?

Pros: Greenhouse has an ever expanding list of integration partners as well as an open API offering flexibility in building our recruiting tech stack as well as adding on new integrations quickly via the API.

Cons: While Greenhouse's built in reporting feature provides far greater depth than most ATS platforms, there's a need for clear copy around what data is pulled and how to build trust in reports.

Thrilled with Greenhouse! Can't imagine running our structured hiring approach without it.

Pros: I love that Greenhouse is well designed by people who really understand and care about recruiting and hiring best practice. I love most everything about it, but especially the attention to all the critical parts of getting a job design and interview process right, like scorecards and interview kits.

Cons: I know there's a Greenhouse CRM coming, but it would be even better to have included a more seamless way of nurturing prospects.

Pros: As an HR Business Partner I'm the party that sets up reqs, scorecards, etc. Greenhouse templates make this exceptionally easy. It's also easy to find what you're looking for, or who you're looking for, in the tool. Plus, the slick UI is nice to look at.

Cons: It's an investment and would likely be a financial burden to smaller companies. Also, the freedom and flexibility of the tool can cause reporting and compliance headaches down the road. It's almost nimble to a fault.

Pros: - Completely owns the process from job creation to posting, applications, interviews, and offer.
- The scorecards are my favourite part. It helps build accountability and transparency into the pass/fail world of interviews
- Amazing customer support
- Good degree of cusomization
- As an HR/People Manager, I can oversee many processes without having to constantly check in with my hiring managers/interviewers.

Cons: - It's not cheap, definitely an investment
- Mobile version is okay for interviewers, but it's non-existent for admins

Overall, our experience has been quite positive. We have seen a lot of growth in the product.

- Rejection notifications if people have gone through a stage in our process - we may be the anomaly as our hiring managers handle most of the recruiting process where us as recruiters facilitate the process and schedule interviews

Pros: Ease of Use, Constant Feature Additions (That make sense), Customer Support/Success has been top notch, ability to train new recruiters, employees and managers in short period of time. Ability to analyze metrics and dig deeper via google sheets integrations.

Cons: The only complaint we have is that calendar invites do not have automatic reminders. Whenever we think of a new feature that would be awesome, unprompted it is added within a few weeks of our internal discussions.

Comments: Cost effective and gets the job done!

Pros: Greenhouse is extremely customizable! You are able to add in various custom stages, templates, and forms through the platform. We used this ATS as we scaled from 50 employees to 120.

Cons: Sometimes the service from Greenhouse was not ideal, there were sometimes long wait times for seemingly simple support questions. However, they always got resolved.

Straight forward, user friendly system! Team has picked up the tool easily.

Pros: Easy to use, understand and navigate. Nice design. Bulk actions. Reports (looking forward to customizable reports!!). Boolean search doable. Easy to tag candidates or write notes that are searchable.

Cons: Dashboard "My Applications" should be different per user - so for Hiring Managers just showing Hiring Manager Review, and for Recruiters showing stages they own. You cannot re-reject candidates if rejected without email the first time and need to now send email. Recruiters do not have access to view all candidates, but only candidates associated to their jobs. You cannot do phone screens on prospects unless you convert them to a candidate - not helpful if you need to do a phone screen (and want to save notes in their profile) to determine if you should change them to an active candidate. No split screen when viewing interview kit - easier to conduct interview if you can see resume and scorecard questions side by side.

Overall: The ability to have our entire recruiting process in one place. Helps with hiring decisions that are consistent, as well as helped us implement diversity/inclusion measures. The team is now able to follow processes within one system.

Pros: Greenhouse allows our organization to streamline our hiring process. From applications to interview feedback to offer creation, everything is much simpler since implementing Greenhouse.

The best feature, for me, is the interview kits and feedback. It allows us to set up interviewers for success during interviews and make sure we have consistent selection criteria. Also, the scorecards make gathering feedback much easier, I don't have to chase down hiring managers anymore.

Throughout the buying and implementation process, everyone at Greenhouse was great to work with. They were transparent with pricing, worked within my expectations and timelines and did a great job helping me through the implementation process. I have now purchased and implemented Greenhouse at my last two organizations.

Cons: I think the one area that can be improved/added is more features focused on nurturing previous candidates.

Pros: The system is very flexible and quite intuitive. The screening tool helps saving a lot of time and communications with candidates and the hiring team is quick and easy. The recruitment pipeline can be tailored for each recruitment and all the interview notes or test results are stored on the candidate profile. Reporting options cover all the information you need to understand your recruitment trends. The system also facilitates referral schemes, panel creation, internal job board and multiple job board if you have different branches.

Cons: As with any systems, there are always small details that could be changed to suit personal preferences. The interview notes once exported in pdf could be better designed and I would like to have more options for the interviewer profile. The phone app has recently been updated and most functions are now available - hopefully the next upgrade will include the possibility to email candidates!

I love using Greenhouse, it makes our processes run smoother and let's me get more done!

Pros: I like that a lot of it is customizable, I can adjust the platform to our needs and processes. It makes it easy to send out reminders to interviewers and keep everyone on track or share notes. I love that it integrates with gmail as well and google calendar which makes everything easier to get done.

Cons: There are definitely a lot of improvements that could be made to make the software even better - for example, when working with external recruiters they often want to be cc'ed on candidate communication but there is no option to set that as a default in Greenhouse. I would also love the option to hide candidate names during resume review so we can work on our diversity efforts more thoroughly.

Pros: Greenhouse has allowed me to overhaul our sourcing, recruiting and hiring programs, and has positioned us for immense growth. In just over 15 months since launching Greenhouse we went from 38 people to just over 80!

Cons: There are still some areas where you have to change things twice manually or it won't be updated, still small bugs here and there, and some of the integrations aren't as simple as made out to be. But the platform is still new and I have been impressed working with the people and the company.

Pros: Greenhouse is great. It's very customizable to your recruiting operation while providing clear guidance on how to best organize your operation. This improves your candidate/interviewer experience while maximizing your data/analytics and workflows. Their customer service team is top notch. They're friendly and helpful and always solution oriented. There's so much I personally like that I'll just have to list a few (in no particular order):

- Offer Workflows (with approvals)
- Job Setup
- Customizable Options (Offer details, Job details, Tags, Candidate details)
- Greenhouse Analytics (Okay I lied, this is my favorite)
- Employee Dashboard
- Referral Process (Posting to social media, tracking, organizing referrals as a referrer)

Cons: There isn't a lot not to like. Greenhouse is growing fast and their software is evident of that at times. There are some legacy situations that they've chosen not to prioritize (like bulk updating approvals on jobs) with their engineering time, but though the solution today is time consuming, they're obviously making progress to minimize the pains. When you use Greenhouse, you're using a tool that does more than track candidates, it helps you interview better and it helps your team become more confident in their hiring decisions. So, of course that opens the door for growing pains as they scale and learn what their customers need.

On a more technical side. The way they've designed their API doesn't always make the most sense. They provide some resources to understand it better but until you're neck deep into when candidate_ID and application_ID are used and what historical information is connected to each, it's a bit like learning a new language.

It's been a great partnership!

Pros: This is the most intuitive and well thought out ATS that I've used and we consistently receive that same feedback from within the TA team and from the business that we support. The Greenhouse product team is very forward thinking and receptive and it shows in the frequent releases. The interview kits, easy integrations, approvals, referral tool and the mobile app have all shaped the way our team works. We've also had a great experience with our Account Director, which can make all the difference.

Cons: The biggest con for us would be the basic reports. We quickly outgrew them and needed to move to an in-house solution.

I've used Greenhouse to recruit for both Qubit & PlayQ and have had a great experience!

Pros: I like to say Greenhouse is the "Mac" of ATS programs.... with an app that you can download, and easy scorecards to fill it, it couldn't be easier for our teams to use.

Cons: Customer service seems to have dwindled a little since we first implemented it a year ago - the chat feature was online more frequently. Also, it's hard to post a job in multiple markets without doing multiple reqs - a feature I know they are working to address.

Overall: Better ATS, Referral platform, Centralized Scorecards/easy to fill out

Pros: The software has so many capabilities that it can really be molded for use in any industry. If I have a want or an item on my wishlist, our account manager can usually find a way in the system to make it happen for us, and fit our needs. Pros: It's got almost every report I could ask for. Really easy to set up and building & publishing new jobs is a breeze. It's helped calibrate candidate evaluations across our interviewing teams. It integrates nicely with our HRIS & Payroll platform to make the transition from offer to hire pretty simple.

Cons: If there is one thing it is missing, it is the ability to create questionnaires or tests that can be sent out during the interview process. If you want to collect customer Q&A, it can only be done at the time of application. I don't like the idea of making the application process that long for folks who wouldn't pass the initial recruiter screen.

Pros: Overall, the software is user friendly and provides and provides quite a bit of options, without being overwhelming. We have had to contact customer service a few times and they are always friendly and more than willing to explain what we're not understanding.

Cons: With the new version of Greenhouse, users are unable to add galleries of photos anywhere on their website, which they were able to do on the previous version. In addition, it's very difficult to add buttons with links to external sites to any section. The section must be a donation page in order to have a button.

Pros: Greenhouse is a very intuitive and easy-to-use system. It integrates with a lot of great tools, from onboarding, to payroll, skills testing, and may others. Their customer support team is among the best I've experienced with any software platform I've used. The support chat function is fantastic, and everyone I've talked to there has been extremely pleasant. The system requires very little training, which makes onboarding new interviewers a breeze.

Cons: The reporting isn't very robust, and the system doesn't support creating custom reports. They do have an Analytics piece you can add-on, but it's quite expensive.

Pros: Nice interface, easy to learn, took 30 seconds to set up an account

Cons: It wasn't very scalable. We had to switch to another recruiting software about a year later as our company got larger. It was also much more expensive than a Taleo, even.

Overall: We had this software to refer new employees. It has an extremely adorable interface and made it very easy to refer friends.

Comments: Greenhouse is used globally by our company for all recruiting related items.We have increased the recruiting team's efficiency after the implementation of GreenHouse as before that thing were very adhoc and siloed. There was no central place/repo for any recruiting-related information. Comments: I've used Greenhouse for both referrals and interview scheduling. I love how I am quickly able to pull up a resume on the fly which is something I always forget to do before an interview (oops). I also appreciate being able to see a history of referrals so I can keep track of everyone I've spoken to. This is incredibly helpful as new opportunities show up over time and I want to go back and make sure I revisit the people I've already interviewed who may be better for a new role. Comments: We use Greenhouse as the platform for all recruiting functions globally. Prior to implementing Greenhouse, we had a lot of manual processes in place and the recruiting function as a whole was decentralized. There was no central repository for all recruiting-related information. With Greenhouse, we were able to align the team globally, centralize all functions, automate processes, and create a better hiring experience for managers.

Pros: Reporting - In my role, I need to be able to diagnose where the breakdowns are in recruiting, and the system¿s many canned reports help me do that. While Greenhouse doesn¿t have the ability to let you build custom reports, there are enough reports available that I don¿t have to do that. It¿s also been very useful for me to get weekly recruitment reports from the system so I can see activity from a high level. All this lets me keep my finger on the pulse of hiring, and report effectively to the business where we are with progress to plan, while at the same time advising on trends I¿m seeing and actions we may want to take. Interview Kits/Scorecards - Another great feature of the system. Getting everyone on the same sheet of music has been invaluable. Once all scorecards are input then the manager can see all of the feedback and make a decision. As I¿ve mentioned, centralization is important to us and having all the feedback in one place makes it easy on recruiter and manager alike. And the interview kits are a great way to set everyone up for success because they can be customized so that the whole interview panel takes the same approach, or each interviewer can be tasked with a specific question set. And it¿s all so intuitive and easy to use. Several of our senior executives have set the standard for user engagement with Greenhouse! User experience - This was one very key area for us. We believe that recruiters are partners to managers, and for them to want to engage on that level, we needed a system that was user-friendly. And Greenhouse is definitely user-friendly. We have a high level of engagement here which has helped to further our goal of creating a culture of recruitment here.

Cons: Reporting Customization - Although there are many canned reports that cover a variety of areas, I still have to export multiple reports in order to build a report which tells the story I¿m trying to tell. User Access Customization - I understand this is something on their product roadmap. It would be great for them to get more granular in terms of access-level functionality.

Recommendations to other buyers: If you¿re looking for a recruiting system that is user-friendly, intuitive and customizable, you should definitely look at Greenhouse. The greenhouse allows us to be fluid with our recruiting process, which is important because we have to be able to pivot quickly to support the needs of the business. Being able to tailor processes to a specific role, customizing interview kits and operate with a high degree of transparency (which Greenhouse allows you to do - everyone can run reports!), then this system should be given serious consideration.

Comments: I implemented Greenhouse when I came onboard to a company of about 19 people. Since then, we have hired about 30 people (over 14 months). It has been really helpful to me since we don't have any other recruiting resources (schedulers, sourcing, etc.) There are a lot of other software providers that integrate with Greenhouse as well (Zenefits, background check companies and onboarding providers). We actually use Greenhouse Onboarding as well since we don't have an HR Resource yet.

Pros: Easy to navigate, immediately posts to many job boards, allows hiring managers to go in and review candidates pretty quickly. Also, the UI is pretty straight forward which allows there to be a pretty simple workflow. Another thing about Greenhouse is the scorecard feature - its never easy to get everyone's feedback from an interview so the scorecard allows you to customize the evaluation form for each position.

Cons: My only con about Greenhouse is the scheduling aspect - you have to schedule each interview separately instead of just making one big schedule.

Recommendations to other buyers: I did a couple demos for Applicant Tracking Systems and Greenhouse impressed me the most. Prior to joining my current company, I had been using jobvite which was OK but Greenhouse is a lot easier to use and provides more ways to get things done faster (even with limited resources!)

Overall: I have 10+ years of experience in the Talent Acquisition space and I've used just about every ATS you can think about, from the monsters (Taleo, SilkRoad, etc.) to the startups (Jazz, Lever, Jobvite).

I've never felt compelled to write an online review before, but I'd never been blown away by a recruiting tool before either.

Out of everything we've been working on this year nothing has had a more dramatic an impact on my team's success than our switch to Greenhouse last year. For me, it's the everyday workflow and productivity improvements, the confidence that we're focusing our efforts in the right place, the pride that we're more on top of it all than any other recruiting tam I know.

I don't know how I survived without their incredible reports - I can give the CEO the hard data showing why we need the funding we do, or how much we've improved since the previous quarter, or what we need to do to prepare for the hires we'll be making in 6 months...

Even just seeing how the HM's actually use it and knowing they're on the exact same page as the recruiters has been a dream come true.

Comments: I came across GH in early 2016 and immediately took to it. The UI was easy to understand. This includes all of the tabs, work flow pages all the way down to the color schemes and little thumbs up and thumbs down for feedback icons. One of the most useful resources is the candidate filtering/ tagging feature that allows recruiters to quickly view pipeline not only in the context of candidate profile but also steps in the process. I don't think I have been able to pick up an ATS so quickly and efficiently. I have used all sorts of platforms for recruiting from home grown systems to 3rd party apps and GH has been the best I have used by far. My last job had migrated from GH to iCIMS and it was a complete disaster which is one of the main reasons I left. So keep up the good work!

Comments: This product has saved a ton of time for everyone involved in the recruiting process. The fact that it saves a history of all job descriptions, comments and ratings of each position and candidate means we don't have to reinvent the wheel each time we have a new opening. Our HR lead no longer has to consolidate feedback from a hundred emails, but instead can simply go into the tool and see organized commentary next to each candidate. What's even better is that because you're able to add goals and objectives to activities, each attendee gets a list of suggested questions to ask before each meeting, making our interviews much more efficient and insightful. Would highly recommend this tool for any company that has a consistent resourcing need.

Comments: We've been using Greenhouse in our office for almost 6 months now. Getting started and acclimated to the software was simple. It was straight forward and pretty easy to use. By using Greenhouse we've been able to keep all of our recruiting information organized in such a way that not only we can benefit from, but our candidates as well. I love knowing the timeline of our process, which Greenhouse makes clear and keeps track of for us. I would definitely recommend this software.

Pros: The organization! I love that I can see how long a candidate has been in a particular stage and getting alerts when they've been in a stage for a certain number of days. This keeps candidates fresh in our minds and helps us remember to reach out to them so they aren't left in the process. I think it's great that I can click on a candidates name and have access to their personal websites as well as their résumé.

Cons: I currently can't think of anything that's a con in Greenhouse.

Recommendations to other buyers: Let Greenhouse do the work for you! Follow the structure and it can benefit you greatly in regards to candidate organization and the recruiting timeline.

Comments: I did a fair amount of investigating ATS systems, and Greenhouse ultimately won my business and has kept it for a several reasons. 1. Customer Service. Their sales team understood the difference between availability, persistence and harassment. Their implementation specialists are patient, articulate, empathetic, easily accessible and even open to product improvement suggestions. Support tickets are handled quickly and when the matter is a more complex tool-wide programming solve, they still communicate the outcome to you---even months later!! 2. UI and UX. It's sexy, intuitive, and easy to use. Trying to get timely candidate feedback from super busy creative people, many of whom are naturally disorganized, has meant the simplicity of Greenhouse has been a godsend. They even like using it because its pretty. Anything to made the horse led to water drink, ya know? 3.Customization. I love that I can change make both minor tweaks and major adjustments to scorecards, job posts, work flow and hiring teams with zero headache. We can also put our unique brand voice on everything our internal team and candidates see, so nothing about it feels robotic. 4. Candidate Experience. It's fast, simple, and clear on the receiving end, which is the most important part. Feedback from our candidates, even from rejected candidates, has been glowing since we started using Greenhouse---a vast improvement over our previous MO. 5. Ease of Communications. Communicating to and about candidates is simple and fluid, AND can all activity around a candidate is logged, so you check and double check last communications---key when you have a large pool and fast moving process. It's also web based, so use it from your phone, home computer or anywhere that's not your desk. The only drawback is that the flexibility in the rest of the tool is not represented in the reporting. The reports can be a little difficult to decipher and there are some sets of data not offered that would be quite useful, though not critical. On the whole, the reporting features are more than adequate, but relative to the awesomeness of the tool and service otherwise, it would step up a bit.

Pros: Customer Service, UI/UX, Customization, Candidate Experience, Ease of Communications.

Cons: Analytics, Price (if you're a small business)

Pros: The ease of use really makes this product stand out. The ability to flow through the different stages makes moving people through pipelines a really simple process.

Cons: There are a few cases where one is sorting through candidates in process and interacting with their profiles will take you out of the the sorting list making it where you have to re-search the candidates to find them again.

Overall: I've used multiple ATS's as a recruiter and this is one of the better one's out there. It has a lot of integration functionality and a few chrome extensions to help with prospecting and data imports. The workflow of everything is pretty good as well. It's really easy to organize notes and having interview scorecards makes saving details during the interview a simple process.

Recommendations to other buyers: I would say keep on improving the product and maybe improve the self help section, there's a lot of outdated information from previous versions.

Pros: So often, applicant tracking systems tend to be missing one or more critical features that are critical for a great ATS. I love that Greenhouse has consolidated all of the best ATS features into one product. Nice user interface, easy user maintenance, candidate scoring, referral tracking, offer letter management, great reporting, integrations with HRIS systems, you name it. It's all there.

Cons: The only thing I feel they are missing is the ability to build automated questionnaires into the interview workflow.

Recommendations to other buyers: Definitely take a look. I've worked with many different ATS companies over the years, and Greenhouse has become my go-to ATS. I've migrated multiple companies over to them and it's always a great experience for the recruiters and hiring managers.

Pros: The social Media aspect. Love to be able to blast my positions to Facebook or LinkedIN.

Cons: the chat support is terrible. I want to be able to talk to someone. Filtering jobs isn't always easy. Need more advanced search features. REPORTING is also not that great. Too difficult to create ad hoc reports and the canned reports are not what I need. I also want a dedicated account rep that actually checks in on us personally once and awhile.

Pros: First off, the Greenhouse team is super responsive to questions! The simply chat window at the bottom makes it easy to get a hold of a representative when there is an issue. Overall, the entire system is SO easy to use! I train new hires and managers on the system and I only get a few that come back with questions. The offer process - easy. Changing the interview plan - simple. Scheduling, adding permissions, creating templates - it's a breeze. We moved over from a previous ATS that was not intuitive, customer service was miserable, and we felt very limited on what we could control with the system. Greenhouse is very customizable, super easy to use and troubleshoot, and encompasses everything that an ATS should!

Cons: The one downside to Greenhouse is that they constantly are updating their UI to the point where it confuses the users! I find that after I've created training material, Greenhouse will change the UI and I have to take new screen shots and update my deck. They then do not update their own training material quickly enough for users to use. I've also found that they have been having some issues when it comes to the communication between Outlook and the system. They have had to change the scheduling alias multiple times from calendar@greenhouse.io to calendar2@greenhouse.io to schedule@ghcalendar.io to fix the issue.

Recommendations to other buyers: This is great for our start-up! We are excited to grow with Greenhouse and know that there may be some growing pains along the way that they will need to work out. But they are open to feedback and treat their customers wonderfully!

Pros: It has a clean interface and intuitive navigation. The customizable scorecard feature is SO helpful!

Cons: It requires a lot of upfront configuration to meet your company's specific needs, which I guess is ultimately a good thing, it just doesn't feel that way when you're short on time. Also, I wish there was a way to change sc

Recommendations to other buyers: We reviewed 5 different ATS options - Greenhouse and Lever were the top two. Very glad we went with Greenhouse for the superior scheduling and filter features.
