Pros: My favorite thing about ZipRecruiter, which is a stretch, is how easy it is to sign up to the platform. My review is based from a candidate perspective, and not an employer perspective, but much beyond the ease of signing up, I don't enjoy the platform.

Cons: Everything else. Seriously, I wouldn't recommend this platform to any employer or candidate.

- The emails seem scammy. As a candidate, I get about three emails a day all of which have the same jobs that they sent me yesterday. For some reason, those same jobs never get filled... weird, huh? Not to mention, in the email, they have random things capitalized (super scammy).

- Low quality of jobs. If you're an employer, there are much better job sites out there that don't seem more approachable and better for placing talent into jobs.

So all in all, move along to the next platform. Cough (Glassdoor) cough.

Pros: I found that Zip Recruiter had a wealth of job seekers with the qualifications that we needed. I liked that you could look at these candidates and contact them via Zip Recruiter message portal.

Cons: Candidates list there resume but once they are hired there resume does not come off Zip Recruiter. The pool of qualified applicants is not what it seems. When I contacted these people many were rude and said they had submitted their resume years ago and did not understand why employers were still contacting them.

Overall: I paid per click for what I thought were qualified applicants but I paid to access resumes and contact info for individuals that had no need to be employed at and had long since submitted their resume to Zip Recruiter had found a job. If someone is employed take the resume off your database or have a statute of limitations.

Hello Karen,

Thank you for taking the time to review ZipRecruiter, as your feedback is very important to us! I would like to apologize for your experience with the applicants you came across within our resume database. Our resume database is compiled of resumes from job seekers that choose to not only post their resume but to keep it posted as long as they would like. They always have the option to remove it after they get hired. Unfortunately, when job seekers are hired some of them do not let our system know- so their resumes may remain on the site.

Luckily, we have a great filter to apply to your search within the database to filter through resumes that have not been updated within x number of days. You can choose the span of time depending on your needs. I would be more than happy to personally assist you with navigating the resume database the next time we have the pleasure of assisting you with your hiring needs.

Pros: Like most job search sites, ZipRecruiter has the expected features for filling out a profile and uploading a resume. It does, however, have some really great standout features. The tailored suggested job notifications seem to really be in line with the types of positions that are appropriate based on recent searches or key-words. Far too often job alerts from other job search sites are a bit or way off-base from what the intended search goal is. The feature I like best is the notifications that alert you if your resume has been viewed, or if a viewer has given a thumbs up. Additionally, the metrics offered when a resume is viewed multiple times is great. For example, an alert may say "Your resume was viewed a second time - only 25% of applicants have a second view." I think this helps applicants keep a positive outlook and return to using the product. With other job search sites, after sending a resume, you are left in the dark. To top it off, this information is available whether you use the website or the ZipRecruiter mobile app. I use the Android version of the app, and the ZipRecruiter notifications are notifications I look forward to.

Cons: ZipRecruiter offers quite a full-featured job search product, and it is my favorite. If there was an area for improvement, I would say it is the references section. It would be nice to be able to either link to existing references and carry them over (for example via Linkedin) or copy and paste a reference with contact info for verification as an additional option rather than only having the option to ask for a reference.

Overall: I am still evaluating the benefits, however, based on the features I have seen so far, and the ease of use - compared to the rest, it is currently the goto job search/employment application.

Pros: I enjoyed using ZipRecruiter as a job-seeker, but NOT as a hiring Manager.

Cons: While it is straight forward and easy to use, there is not a wealth of quality candidates for our industry (Veterinary) out there, as the ZipRecruiter reps will try and make you believe. They give you irrelevant statistics as to how many 'qualified' job seekers they have looking for jobs like ours, and try to convince you to pay even more to really reel those people in. This comes with no real data to back up why it would be worth paying more, and no proof that doing such WOULD reel in better candidates. We have had MUCH better luck on Indeed for very little or no cost to us, while ZipRecruiter feels like a total rip off. We paid a few hundred bucks each month for very few candidates, and even less qualified ones. Not worth it.

Pros: The 1-click apply is a nice feature. I love that there is an app for the phone available. ZipRecruiter has teamed up with Google and ADP to allow the best possible results for job seekers and those needed to hire.

Cons: Suggested jobs show jobs that (in job title) list keywords that do not exist in my resume (example: engineer). Jobs dismissed previously return when you search again. There should be an option to exclude jobs previously dismissed. Jobs I have already applied appear in suggested jobs, and it is not until I click on "1-click apply" that I then see "You have applied". There should be a feature to "tag" the jobs you have applied 1) at the company website or 2) from another job board (LinkedIn, indeed, etc,...). I do not want to be applying to the same role from multiple jobs, and most companies and/or recruiters post everywhere. On the mobile app (android), the jobs without the 1-click apply have issues loading the job description. I would like to be able to review the description, and then save the jobs I am interested in for when I can get to my computer and apply.

Overall: I like this software, but it could be and needs to be so much better. I get prospective job listings, but then those same jobs are also listed on all the other job boards too.

Can be expensive but get's the job done.

Pros: Adding in pre screening questions to your job posting that the prospects are required to answer, this helped us weed out the applicants that weren't qualified because of licensing regulations. Being able to add other team members into the account so you can have more then one login, this allows multiple managers to be able to review the incoming resumes for a job posting. Being able to rank the incoming resumes with a thumbs up, a neutral. Being able to add notes to an incoming applicants profile. If you have multiple job postings you can sort the incoming resumes by the specific job posting.

Cons: If you rank a resume with a thumbs down, it removes the resume from the list. This is a problem if you have more then one manager that needs to review the incoming resumes. One manager can down vote a resume, but maybe another manager see's something they like. So the thumbs down doesn't work for us. We would only use the neutral or thumbs up. On our most recent job posting we weren't getting the applicants we wanted with just a standard listing, when we paid the higher price for more exposure we started getting quality candidates. Not sure what the difference is between where the postings are published with a standard listing or an upgraded listing. When you are looking at the list of resumes, if you have multiple job postings you can sort the list by the job posting, however, when you click on a resume it forwards your browser to a new page, then when you click the back button it takes you back to all the resumes so you have to keep resorting them by the job posting.

Pros: I liked the overall idea of ZipRecruiter. It was supposed to make my job search easier, more efficient, and that's exactly what I wanted.

Cons: It did not make the search easier at all. Between emailed job lists that had nothing to do with my field and clicking on job titles that lead to another job search site, where I had to click at least once more (sometimes twice) to get to the company's application page, I was left frustrated and without any new, applicable leads for new jobs. I even reached out to complain about the results I was getting with my searches, but

Pros: ZipRecruiter is one of the easiest platforms to use to help you browse and post employment opportunities. The design of the landing page is easy to navigate, making the process smooth. It also allows you to chat with a recruiter, which is an awesome perk to have as a job seeker. Many career websites do not have this option. Another great option that is accurate based on the information inputted by a job seeker is the customized jobs tab-specific to each person's skills and career interests. Overall, this is an awesome platform!

Cons: The software is great. The only downside to ZipRecruiter is that sometimes it has old job postings that are expired. The company needs to do a better job at ensuring that the job postings are active and not filled to prevent candidates from wasting time on job applications.

Overall: ZipRecruiter will provide you with jobs and employment options based on your career preferences. Having the ability to input information and have a software generate potential job matches for you is a great resource to have and makes the process more friendly and efficient. The live notifications about when your resume or application is being reviewed by a recruiter or a hiring manager is functional and helps you put your mind at ease!

Pros: ZipRecruiter offers a very easy-to-use user interface with more robust functionality than any of the other job posting services that we have used. It was very simple to develop professional job listings, and the ability to copy existing postings and edit them to make other similar postings was very valuable for us. Their site search functionality is excellent and provides multiple filters to narrow down your list of potential candidates. Their suggested candidates and email notifications worked very well to proactively notify us of potential new candidates for our open positions.

Cons: The pricing is quite expensive compared to similar services, although the advanced features help to offset come of the increased cost by saving time looking for candidates. We received more unqualified candidates applying for our positions than we did with other similar services, which I assume is a result of how easy they make it for users to apply for jobs. The resumes that we received were in a variety of formats and file types, making it difficult to quickly compare potential candidates.

Overall: ZipRecruiter helped us to fill our open positions more quickly and easily than other similar services that we have used. Their pricing is more expensive than almost all similar competitors, but they also provide a better service, which saved us time and helped us to fill positions more quickly, thus offsetting some of the increased costs. If you are looking for highly-skilled applicants and/or applicants with very specific skillsets, then ZipRecruiter is probably your best bet because of their more advanced job criteria settings and search filtering options.

Pros: Ziprecruiter is one of the job posting websites where we put the job openings we are recruiting for. What I like most from Ziprecruiter is the easy process they've provided to recruiters like us in posting job ads.

Ziprecruiter is also very famous to job seekers so once we post our job openings there, we got a lot of inbound candidates.

I also like the email notification that I receive from Ziprecruiter whenever I receive inbound candidates because aside from providing you the summary of the application or the candidate, it also attaches the candidate's pdf or word resume.

Cons: What I least like about Ziprecruiter is its basicness. It is not timely to millennial job seekers now. I hope Ziprecruiter update their job posting database so that we can add design and catchy colors to our job postings rather than sticking to the normal boring job postings.

Overall: Overall, Ziprecruiter is a great tool that helps us in our recruitment efforts. It drives more inbound candidates, and is a good addition on top of sourcing and outreach of candidates. Let us remember that not all candidates are on LinkedIn, and with that, we still need the help of Ziprecruiter.

Pros: The ease of maneuvering from the start to the end. Registering to find or post a job is easy and simple.

You fill out the required fields and upload your resume. Then the system will ask about what are you looking for, and you list your specific wants and desires are. The system reads your resume and answers to the questions, and comes out with specific recommendations. Very simple to navigate. I also liked the 1 tap apply feature.

Cons: I can honestly say that I liked everything about this software.

Overall: I have been a job seeker a number of times, and ZipRecruiter is the best. I have looked for sales jobs, even telecommuting positions, and this program has it all. There are some areas where they educate you on different things to get ahead. Like a properly written cover letter, and a well thought out resume. They even have a spot to see if you are really qualified, and what the position pays. There are very well paying listings on ZipRecruiter, for any job you can think of. As a sales person, I have applied to my share of job opportunities, and have received at least an interview. Set up a job alert on the site, and they will notify you when jobs meeting your requests come available. Then you just use 1 tap apply, and you're on your way.

Poor. Their trial period was very poorly detailed.

Pros: UI was very easy to use, got plenty of responses to jobs I posted, some decent candidates. Short trial period meant I wasn't able to fulfill any roles, not their fault per se. When I contacted them about my account being charged, they promptly refunded my money.

Cons: Horrible, horrible transparency. I signed up for the free trial and couldn't even figure out how long their free trial period was until after I talked to their agent. Turns out it's only 4 days. That's just short enough to be totally useless.

Worse part is they weren't very clear about when my account would be charged. Turns out, they charge you on the 4th day of the trial, so if you call on the 4th day to cancel, your account would have rolled over to paid account. Their customer service was nice enough to refund me though, just the lack of transparency left a sour taste.

Pros: I like that this job board lets candidates see a company logo bubble for each position. When it comes to marketing jobs, being able to see the company logo is very important and can be the difference between recognizing a company and applying for a position versus not applying for the position at all. Adding company description, job title and compensation to a job posting is incredibly easy and user friendly.

Cons: My biggest complaint is that there aren't more options when it comes to posting compensation. In some cases I would like to add additional information like a figure for potential bonus or a figure for an average commission. My other complaint is the ZipRecruiter almost makes it too easy for candidates to apply for jobs. People are applying for jobs without actually looking at what they are applying for. This is a pro and a con to some. Having the 1-click and apply method sometimes doesn't do me any good when looking at candidates because I know a majority of these people didn't actually take the time to look at the job description and its requirements.

Our company has used for 3 years.

Pros: I have been using ZipRecruiter as one of my alternative sourcing tool in recruiting. ZipRecruiter makes it easier for me to finish the candidate search, because once you post your job opening in ZipRecruiter it will open a great door to receiving a lot of candidates.

ZipRecruiter is very helpful because some great fits doesn't have any linkedin accounts so ZipRecruiter enabled me to connect with them.

What I also like about ZipRecruiter is the ability to indicate a follow up question to the applicants by just merely provisioning it on ZipRecruiter which is every helpful for me in avoiding phone interviews to prospect candidates - saves my time!

Cons: I don't have anything negative to comment regarding ZipRecruiter. Maybe one that they can improve on is putting templates or design that those who are subscribed on their platform can make their job posting nice and compelling!

Overall: If you are having time in recruiting IT or Executive positions, ZipRecruiter is the best companion to guide and help you!

Pros: We are using ZipRecruiter in our company since it gives us a steady stream of inbound candidates. Sourcing on LinkedIn, and sending outreach emails to candidates are a good deal since by that process we have already screened the candidates. However, not all candidates are found on LinkedIn. Almost half of interested candidates that we process for our company openings especially in our Executive Search arm are from ZipRecruiter.

I like the functionality of ZipRecruiter that you can include qualifying questions to your job posting. It is like a first line of defense to weed out unfit and not really interested candidates.

Cons: The only bottleneck I have with ZipRecruiter is that the templates for posting are cynical. You can't really incorporate much design that will make the job posting interesting.

I hope ZipRecruiter steps up its game, and be mindful that most job hunters now are millennial, and they need to ramp up in terms of being responsive to the modern candidate pool

Overall: ZipRecruiter is a great help for all our recruitment needs. ZipRecruiter is best used for executive positions but downplays its essence in terms of rank and file recruitment.

Pros: It's easy to post a job, I didn't tally like this compared to others that I have used

Cons: I was receiving resumes from people that didn't have any experience, about 95% of the resumes I received were no good Vs when I used other services.

Overall: This did not help me with my search for employees instead of filled my inbox with useless resumes which took me s lot of time to weed through

Pros: Some of the things that I like about ZipRecruiter are that as a job seeker, it is very easy to create a profile and the system ensures that it matches your profile against matching jobs. I think it has some of the better job matching mechanisms in place to be able to search for matching jobs that relate better to your skillset and experience. I also like the feature of one click apply in which you can apply for a position without filling in additional details as long as you have the requisite details in the your past job history and profile. The notification and alert tools available when a job is posted that match your profile is also good.

Cons: The experience of using of the website seems to be heavy and the general navigation of the system is not an intuitive as I would have liked. Also, it would be great if there was a follow up mechanism available when you apply for a job as there is latency in the current status of the openings and what is displayed on the website. If a resume needs to be updated on the website, the process is slow and not very responsive.

Overall: Job Matching criteria is pretty refined in the system and that helps in you being matched with the right opportunities and explore relevant openings. The process to apply for the jobs is also pretty smooth and helps ensure that you are aware of the latest openings matching your skills and experience.

Pros: 1. you can use this to source for candidates that you deemed fit with your job opening. You can see candidates' qualification and skills. And can send them email about the job opening that you have. In that way you can get their interest to have their contact information to reach them at

2. You can also have a job posted and let these candidate apply on those posting

3. this application is best used for Light industrial/Commercial jobs

4. you can also see reviews from people who have worked on companies that can be used as a basis for recruiting

5. Subscription for this site is decent.

Cons: 1. Since resumes posted on this site does not have contact information, you have to wait for for these candidates to reply with your reach out

2. Though this site is very useful, it might not be useful with some cities and state

Overall: I can not think of anything I do not like with this site. Overall, it helps job seeker and employer to reach best candidates available in the market.

Pros: There will never be a shortage of resumes to review. Every day that the job was listed as active, we received at least twenty responses. I really like the ability to categorize and filter by quality and reaction. It's absolutely necessary given the volume involved. I have had good and bad resumes through this aggregation site. Hiring quality people is the hardest part of being an employer. Also, we receive a discount offer in the mail or by email more often than we can use it as we are not always hiring. This is good!

Cons: Because this service pulls from a number of other websites, you get many resumes in different formats. I require that the resume be at least in Word, ideally in PDF. I wish we could limit the sources or send an automatic email from specific sources. (I'm looking at you, Yahoo!) I also will not follow up if there are numerous spelling errors or an unprofessional email. Unfortunately, we receive very many resumes that have to be dismissed based on that criteria alone.

Overall: We received so many resumes that it was nearly a job in itself to sort through. We were only looking for one employee but finding good people is difficult. Thus the massive number of responses is quite necessary.

Pros: The best thing about this product is how easy it is to get information about a job and post yourself as a person looking for a job. Uploads are easy, it is easy to tag jobs and professions that you are interested in, and its easy to flag jobs that you are not interested in. I like that you can submit your search for different regions, and get realistic results.

Cons: The worst thing is that you cannot separate your searches. If you are like me, where you have a background in one industry but would be willing to change industries it is sometimes harder to get the search algorithm to keep those searches separate. It takes a lot of training and customization to train your platform to understand what jobs to send you, and which you probably aren't qualified for. I also wish that there was better quality control over the types of employers allowed to post on Zip. Several times I responded to an ad looking for someone like me 'an industry switcher looking for entry level X' and ended up with a MLM or some other undesirable company that was not looking for my specific skill set, but more a 'warm body'. This was particularly noticeable when I was looking at staffing recruiting positions or project management positions.

Overall: Despite several false starts and 'bad' postings, I was able to find my current job through ZipRecruiter and I would encourage others to take the time to sort through the riff-raff, because the chances of finding legitimate postings as opposed to Indeed or CareerBuilder (both of which have a lot of spammy postings) is high.

Comments: Zip uses an avatar named Phil. I would like to see other avatrs available like a female for females or males who prefer female recruitment managers.

Pros: Very easy to use. You do get automated updates both as a user from the hiring side and also as a job seeker. I have used on both sides of the equation for about 3 years each.

Cons: Job seekers - well, no one has called me saying hey ZipRecruiter worked for me and I fgot a job. It really works better as a recruitment tool but then there is a big drawback. if you are looking for experienced people, they will usually have targeted resumes and zip only lets you store one for their easy 1-click apply. Quite a limiting factor. I as a hiring manager then need to get the person to send the targeted resume or I spin my wheels seakig with a not quite wat I am looking for person.

Pros: It gives ease to recruiting. Ziprecruiter allows you to do job postings wherein the active applicants will simply apply on your post. In adition, they also have resume database wherein you can do sourcing of candidates. You can filter resumes by entering key words, job titles, and resumes recently posted. Majority of the resumes that you can find here are not on the other job boards. Totally fresh leads.

Cons: Few filters unlike other job boards in the market. Applicants can apply even though they are not qualified. I hate the idea that when you open a candidate's resume, you still need to click view full resume button. It is time consuming because sometimes you will need to wait for the resume to load up. Has lot of things to improve compare to other job boards.

Pros: As stated in the title I have used Zip Recruiter to hire employees and I have also used it to acquire a job. I highly recommend Zip Recruiter for both hiring and getting hired. This is a simple and straight forward for both.

As far as using this to hire employees it is competitive on pricing and had some high quality applicants. We used this to hire an office admin and a developer. I can't remember what we paid but I want to say it was one of the cheapest job recruitment companies. We received over 200 applicants for the office admin position. It is a simple process of scanning through applicants. You can mark the ones you are interested in and the ones you are not.

I was able to find a job on Zip Recruiter from a high quality employer. Finding a job is pretty easy and straight forward. You can search companies, titles, roles, etc. You can be notified by jobs you might be interested in. Once you upload your resume and update your profile most of the jobs you can apply with a one click process.

The application for IOS and Android is one of the best things about this. It was simple to use to scan through all of the applicants and useful to be able to do it anywhere. Looking for jobs on the app was clear and straightforward. It is a clean and well developed app.

Cons: I honestly cannot thing of one thing that I did not like about Zip Recruiter. I highly recommend the product to everyone.

Pros: I find that ZIp Recruiter is an amazing tool. Even when you are using a trial it gets you the numbers of applicants that you are looking for that meet my requirements. I love the fact that after setting up a trial that i recieved a call from a sales agent almost right away... but....

Cons: For some reason, not everyone in the sales team knew that I was called and still attempting to find out if the service was worth the cost or not. When I say that I received calls from almost the entire sales team I did. I took the time out of busy schedule and spoke to each and everyone of them and the focus of the call was clear. That they were wanting me to pay for a month and that the product that I picked ( which was the cheapest) was not the correct one that I need to upgrade to the highest package. I explained each and every time that I understand that you feel that way .. but I have to make sure that the product is worth that price tag. That didn't hinder them, and a few had the balls to get upset with me like.. I should know who they are and they are the best. hmm mmm at that point I no longer wanted to partner or use a company that was more worried about meeting their quota then if I as a customer is happy with the product or service.

Pros: Good concept to have an all in one location to access applicants but needs work.

Cons: Inflated pricing and false advertising. The free trial is misleading. It's takes a day to get you set up and have access to your applicants. If you don't get set up within the time frame you get locked out of your account with no access to the applicants that already applied during your free trial. Then they make you pay hundreds of dollars to continue using the software.

Don't bother using if you're a small business, they target large corporations that can afford to spend hundreds and even thousands on recruiting an employee. Definitely NOT beneficial for retail recruiters. You're better off using Indeed or Craigslist.

Overall: Horrible customer service. The free trial is false advertising. The vibe they gave off was they just want your money and have no interest in helping you find candidates.

Pros: The UI was very easy to use. It was easy to post job openings and then replicate those job openings to create additional job openings.

Cons: ZipRecruiter provides 1-Click Apply functionality to its job seekers. This may be good for job seekers but it really stinks for someone looking to hire. Employers end up with a mountain of applicants that A) aren't really interested, or B) are a really poor fit. Many of the candidates don't even respond when we reach out to them. Its like there are masses of ghost candidates posting job application responses. It took so much time to weed out this ghost responses that we ended up terminating ZipRecruiter and going with another company. In addition, if you dare sign up with ZipRecruiter expect a barrage of upsell calls from their sales teams. They will call you every month or even every week trying to upsell you on stuff. What is crazy to me is they continued to try to upsell us even when they knew we were not happy with the base service we had. Finally, when we had had enough and called to cancel they treated us like badly when we canceled then hung up on us. Crazy! There are so many job posting boards/platforms out there, I can't see how they are keeping customers. I expect their churn rate must be very very high.

Pros: Zip Recruiter encompasses a basic website. Zip Recruiter includes a basic search engine. Zip Recruiter has a basic website layout. Zip Recruiter offers basic email notifications.

Cons: The automative responses from Zip Recruiter's recruitment team seem vague and not realistic. The application process of entering information into limited areas of text boxes or classified fields seems very minimal for a recruiting management system. Overall, the website has changed or the user interface has experienced enhancements that limit the amount of information that can be uploaded or added by an end user. The end user will receive multiple text message or email notifications. Generic messages can be automated as well as forwarded to the candidate or user by Zip Recruiter and not the company's or organizations human resources manager. As a result, the expected results of utilizing Zip Recruiter as a job search resource has been modified drastically, perhaps more web development is on the horizon.

Overall: Zip Recruiter offers great search results. Zip Recruiter offers standard job opportunities for candidates. Zip Recruiter offers various subscriptions to showcase your skills and talents as a candidate.

Pros: The beauty with which the software application streamlines the job search process is amazing. It provides other similar job options that helps me diversify my job search. The suggestion tool is really powerful with zip recruiting. Really easy to navigate the website as well as the app. Since the resume is uploaded the setup time is really low to apply to many new jobs. This makes the job search process really easy, fast and efficient.

Cons: There are a lot of false advertising, fake ads which makes is harder for users to filter through all the junk. The number of email that zip recruiter sends to users is also a large part of that junk. Some of the job suggestion are highly diverse, sometimes diverse to a point that it does not match my interest nor my keywords.

Overall: Overall very happy with the app. Minor glitches while switching inbetween pages and search. The design could be further made simple and the clutter on job search should be removed. Ads hurt the main page as it makes it difficult for the user to find jobs. The job search suggestions is helpful but the suggestions are not as great.

Comments: I used ZipRecruiter heavily just over a year ago as well as here and there occasionally since. Everything I tested was responsive and worked as expected. Would I recommend? If you are in need of employment or employees in the technology fields that ZipRecruiter focuses on the ZipRecruiter is a valid and capable choice. It has a clean design and doesn't get tiresome after putting in hours for you job/hiring search.

Pros: It has a very simple layout/design and intuitive user interfaces. Black, white, and pops of green keeps your attention focused on the information at hand. On the aspiring employee's side of things it is fast and looks clean. The focus on the technology-based fields was what drove me to choose Ziprecruiter. The specialization makes things either on both sides of the equation, in my opinion. Job seekers have fewer listings to sift through with a high percentage of relevancy, whereas, the employers receive applicants experienced in their field.

Cons: Take caution with the inciting scam advertisements that make their way into the listings. (Don't fault them for this one too much. All job boards deal with this to some degree and ZipRecruiter isn't anywhere near the worst.) From my memory I never had any issues on the site other than ones that were of my own doing, such as a messed up resume for a time when I uploaded the wrong file. My biggest complaint is that the algorithm for recommending jobs rarely alerted me of things that caught my eye.

Pros: The free trial software and aggregate method of this software lets you test it out before committing. They are confident in their product.

It is easy/intuitive to use.

Cons: This is a recruiting platform for non-specialty jobs. If you have difficult positions to fill in highly competitive markets such as physician staffing, high level IT positions, cleared professionals, etc., this will not reach those candidates in any meaningful way.

Overall: This platform is an excellent entry level tool and affordable with several price-points to suit your company's needs. They also have an excellent free trial month so you can see what you get. They use (as far as I can tell based on their marketing) an aggregate model where their ad goes to several other sites so you get a decent bang for your buck. I've noticed a lot of marketing on TV and radio lately too, so they are becoming a more household name. If your recruiting/HR sourcing needs feature positions that are standard/generalized but may require some additional exposure, this is a good method with an intuitive platform for posting. However, if you are looking for a new sourcing tool to reach hard to fill positions such as physician recruitment, top tier IT professionals, etc., this will likely disappoint. It is a great product for a recruiting team that isn't a specialty staffing firm and just needs a resource that is cheaper than Careerbuilder/Monster/Indeed paid model.

Cons: In order to get real value from ZipRecruiter, you need to set up a budget for "pay per clicks" which adds up over time. This gets you a little more branding and "featured employer" status, but your jobs are still emailed with other competing jobs to potential candidates. As a test, I received a job I posted for a Certified Nursing Assistant - and the email I received had 9 other CNA jobs (including our biggest competitor down the street).

Pros: What I like the most about this webpage is the opportunity to find jobs nearby your zip code area, and narrow the search based on your profile, studies and work experience.

Also, ZipRecruiter provides different tools such as mobile Apps and job alerts by email.

Cons: What I like least about this tool is that the job search is limited to the zip code introduced as personal address. In my case, It would be more beneficial to be able to choose the desired zip code by job alert.

Also, most of the times the job posting that I received based in my profile, doesn't match at all.

Overall: It is a useful tool to try to find a job, also really beneficial for employers. There are some features that can be improved.

Pros: Recruiters (though I'm not sure if they're bots or real people) will send you certain job postings they think you will like or be qualified for. The software allows you to search postings by location and job title/keywords.

I like that you can add testimonials from your references to your account. That is something I haven't seen before.

Cons: It seems like 99% of the postings/emails/notifications are for sales positions. No matter how many times you set your preferences or notification keywords, they will pretty much only show you sales positions. That's fine if that's what you're looking for, but if not (like me) it is very frustrating. I also got multiple emails from "recruiters" for the same position/organization, even after telling them that I either wasn't interested in or was not qualified for the position/organization/field of work.

Overall: When I was looking for a job, I signed up for ZipRecruiter along with several other job board platforms. I ended up using it for maybe a month before I got frustrated with it and deleted my account (before I even got a job).

Pros: ZipRecruiter helps us find great talents which are not on LinkedIn. Not all professionals have LinkedIn account, and it is such a waste not to find the best fit because of that. ZipRecruiter bridges people that doesn't have LinkedIn accounts to the opportunities that we are recruiting.

I remembered a time when we are finding the best Manager for one of our LOBs. It seems that all people we are finding on LinkedIn are either not interested to make a move or not really a great fit. ZipRecruiter bridged us to one great candidate, and she's been working here in our company now for more than a year.

Cons: I really don't have anything that I don't like on ZipRecruiter. It is easy to use, and once you post a job, you're gonna get immediately a lot of applicants.

Maybe the best thing that ZipRecruiter can do is to have like a predictive next steps more like a predictive text. For example, I am posting for a Programmer post, and by the language of what I am typing, I hope the system can provide suggestions as to what other skills I will require etc.

Overall: ZipRecruiter is one of the best addition into making a great tandem with LinkedIn in finishing a recruitment task - easy and fast!

Pros: Website is easy to use and get your posting up. Took no time at all to get account set up. Customer service comped me my money when i accidentally forgot to cancel my free trial on time, which I dearly appreciated.

Cons: Expensive and underwhelming results. I work in government and was using ZipRecruiter's free trial after hearing their ads on the radio. I was hoping to advertise my programming position to a wider audience, but my overall number of applicants was lower than previous postings (possibly due to seasonal factors too, but still).

Overall: After trying ZipRecruiter and not realizing an improvement in volume or quality of applicants, I would say it's better to stick to traditional methods of circulating jobs postings i.e. Indeed, association job boards, alum groups, etc

Pros: View-able information was good I could quickly see the candidates resumes and answers to our custom questions. It was easy to list jobs including customizing questions we wanted to ask before inviting to complete our actual application. I also liked that I could download the resume.

Cons: It seemed that most of the candidates we sent invitations to complete our application did not get the email and the link that we included was blocked unless we upgraded our plan. Every concern I had about our account was met by "upgrade" to do that. I felt they only wanted more money from us. Also, we would get candidates that did not come close to what our job description said we were looking for. I was hoping to pay ZipRecuiter to find us good candidates without having to comb through tons of unqualified candidates but that did not happen. We just cancelled our subscription and are trying other avenues. We will not return. It was a waste of time and money for us.

Overall: It is not a good one. Every time I tried to ask our rep for help I was met with " you need to upgrade to a different plan" which meant just that much more money. When I then reached out to say we are frustrated and wanted to cancel he ignored 2 of my emails. I then try to cancel our account line by following the instructions only to be met with a "you must call his number" screen to cancel. Very frustrating experience.

Pros: What I like about Ziprecuiter is the fact that I can easily update my CV and I can apply to a job in a short amount of time. Also there's a big network of employers that are using this app which increases your possibility to have the right contact through it.

Cons: It keeps sending me wrong notifications despite that I specified what are my interests.

Sometimes the program is just a bridge to take you to the official employer website where you need to introduce all your information.

Pros: They send everyday notifications with latest job postings based on your criteria and experience. You get the latest information on the job postings and the preferences can be tailored widely. Good thing is everyday you see the updated information with the details of the job description and also if anyone is looking for a candidate with my background and experience. You even have the contact details of the posting, if you have to reach out to some one asking for more information. ZipRecruiter will allow you to find the right fit for your background.

Cons: When the job submission is made , I mean after carefully going through the listings and selecting a position. We have to fill out the application and submit the resume for the position. Its a process, but I hardly received any calls from the vendors/clients asking me about my profile submission. I am not sure if anyone is even getting to see my resume and reviewing it. I always felt like it is another online tool for submission and the companies doesn't even really care about so many resumes that they receive and they need a referral candidate or someone internal to fill the position.

Overall: I was able to see a huge list of current job listings and also daily notifications of updated job postings. I don't have to search on internet and everything is in my email and can access the email when ever I want.

Pros: This program lets you create a very specific add to post for possible new hires, You can thin out the unqualified or less skilled applicants and customize your add with specific questions, expectations and scope of work, if applicable. People have to answer to your criteria when they reply back so you only interview the specific group of people that answer your ad with the information your looking for. It also allows you to have more than one of your staff have access also, so they may review incoming applications as well.

Cons: I think if it had a better way to strain the junk and unwanted ads from entering my inbox with real applicants, so I dont have to delete them all the time would make it that much better. If you are new to using this software it will take some practice until your a pro at manipulating your ads into the perfect way that you want them to look.

Overall: i think Ziprecruiter could definetly help you to expand your employee base if that is what you are looking for. I print out stacks of leads that have replied to my ad almost on a daily basis, than I have the receptionist call them all and verify they want to interview with us and set a date to come in

Pros: This software was easy to use in terms of learning the system, how to post open positions, set up appropriate alerts to notify when there were applications waiting. Extremely easy way to get positions posted to a mass of job boards.

Cons: On the flip side, yes, ZipRecruiter gets the word out to an array of job boards but hardly ever returns with applications with qualified candidates.

Overall: Overall, ZipRecruiter is useful for easy to fill/entry level roles but does not return qualified candidates for specialized roles.

Pros: This is one of the very few sites that lets you save your jobs that you have already posted! It also does most of the work for you when you are typing up the job description as well! Which makes this my favorite and easiest app to use while posting new jobs and recruiting new hires!

Cons: There's nothing at all that I don't like about this software! This is by far the most easy to navigate app for recruiters as well as Hiring Managers!

Overall: ZipRecruiter has brought our company so many qualified candidates that we wouldn't have otherwise! We have tried other sites such as CareerBuilder for example and it was no where as good as ZipRecruiter!

Pros: ziprecruiter makes applying to jobs easy. its one-click apply option coupled with its match option saves the hassle of searching for job titles, industries, etc. it also provides follow-up alerts, asking whether or not you've been hired or heard back from the places you applied.

Cons: it would be helpful if my job suggestions were tuned more towards my industry/field and had job matches that were in my location.

Overall: i've used zip recruiter for a few years and have yet to be hired via the software. it's good to send out an application or resume blast, but the ratio of applications to interviews has been pretty disappointing.

Pros: I like the effectiveness of being able to narrow down what I am looking for when hiring people or even when looking for jobs that are open. The product gives ample options that help to narrow your results to locations, years worked, the timeframe of the post being up, and so much more.

Cons: The only con I have is that some of the postings are from 30+ days ago and these jobs happen to be closed. I think that is they were removed it would create an even better query when searching for jobs or even posting them so they do not get mixed with the postings that are no longer active.

Hi Michael,

Thank you for taking the time to submit this feedback as we welcome every opportunity to make the ZipRecruiter experience a more positive one. I know how important it is to be able to find positions that are in line with your job search and would be happy to advise!

When conducting a search on the ZipRecruiter website, you may enter relative keywords and location to match your criteria. After you have entered the search, various filters will appear directly under the search bars. Any of these search filters can help further narrow down your results.

In regard to your concern about those emails, please keep in mind that your profile activity will also determine the frequency of your job alerts.

If you have any further questions please reach out to our Customer Care team via email at support@ziprecuriter.com

Thanks for allowing us to assist with your search!

Pros: Let's start with the one-click apply which is just about the best function for when looking for a new job. No need to type everything out every time anymore with ZipRecruiter. As well, the site has plenty of features for filtering out what you do and do not want to view. They also constantly update you when an Employer has reviewed your application up the three times which not only is good for letting you know you are being viewed but also good to find out how you stand out among the rest of the people applying for jobs. ZipRecruiter also makes it very easy to create a job posting and get it into the appropriate channels.

Cons: I would suggest updating the app more as this is where I mostly use the app. ZipRecruiter does not have many issues. The biggest one is the amount of emails you receive from them but you can always limit what gets emailed to you.

Pros: The software is overall fairly simple to use and you can quickly post a job opening and get a lot of resumes to review.

Cons: The matching system is horrible and results in employers receiving multiple resumes for drastically unqualified applicants. Our office was seeking a patent agent or patent attorney (registered to practice) and we clearly specified this in our ad. We received multiple resumes from individuals that either had no technical education, but were "interested" in the field. This was a complete waste of time for us, as we needed an individual with minimally a technical degree in engineering or science and more specifically, we were seeking someone licensed to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Of the 30+ resumes/enquiries we received, only ONE candidate was even remotely qualified.

Pros: This software is popular and suggests the jobs to those who appear to be qualified. It drives recruiting well.

Pros: ZipRecruiter pulls from quite a bit of sources, giving a lot of jobs to scour though. It is not just relegated to postings on their site.

Cons: Jobs are pulled based off of your work history "catagories" - so in the world of transportation, if you happened to be a dispatcher, youll get every job related to transportation regardless of qualification, like truck driving.

Pros: ZipRecruiter is a fantastic tool to assist in the always-daunting job search. When I moved out to California, ZipRecruiter was one of the first online job-boards that I went into. As for the platform, what's not to love? Clean interface, suggested jobs, many jobs listed but without being visually overwhelming, heavy details upon further clicking, and many include pay and benefits in the quickly visible ad. Also, the mobile experience is just as enjoyable as the desktop version.

Cons: About the only issue, I had with dealing with ZR for a few months was the excess emails and notifications. Yes, I would like to receive related job offers but maybe once a week. I don't want them coming every day or several times a day because I had gone through numerous job title searches. Thankfully, these are all options that can be turned on and off at will... as long as you look for them.

Overall: Helped me get my first California job with minimal hassle!

Pros: -Dashboard is quite simple to navigate. Posting a job listing doesnt take more than a few minutes at most.

-Posts on multiple job listing boards for you concurrently so you dont have to post it yourself one at a time.

-A high volume of job candidates are sent to you that you can search and filter through for the right one.

Cons: -Like the other reviews have stated, you do get back a large number of unqualified candidates if you are searching to fill a highly skilled or technical position.

-Even after putting qualifications and experience requirements, I have gotten back a few "spam" candidates that I suspect are bots.

Overall: Job postings on multiple job boards simultaneously.

Pros: We hire a large number of seasonal staff every year for holiday events. In the past, this has been a clunky and laborious process. ZipRecruiter has made it so much easier to publicize our postings and get in the applications we need. No longer are we stressing about how we'll make sure to get enough applications to do the hiring we need. ZipRecruiter has streamlined every aspect of this and now we can focus on the business, not on hiring!

Cons: My only complaint is that there could be more functionality for posting compensation. We hire a lot of roles with varying levels of compensation and various compensation structure (hourly, salary, commission, contracting, etc). It doesn't feel like ZipRecruiter pprovides me enough functionality I need to properly describe to candidates what the compensation package will entail.

Overall: This software makes our hiring teams lives so much easier.

Pros: I inputted all of the information I needed in a candidate to fill a recently opened up role with my company. And I had access to multiple candidates within a few hours. It saved us so much time with filling the position so we were able to focus on the things that matter in our company. I really enjoyed the ability to asked questions that candidates need to complete before submitting. If they did not meet our requirements based off of the questions then it moved their applications to the rejection area.

Cons: Overall, we did have few candidates actually apply for the position. If we promoted the listing with TrafficBoost then I have a feeling we could have received more. So if you're looking to get the maximum amount of applicants then you might want to shell over the extra cash to get the extra exposure.

Overall: We are taking care of having our recruiter scour multiple job boards in order to fill an open position.

Pros: Chat feature! This is perhaps the most intriguing feature of this software, you can get directly in contact with support using the "live chat" feature. They will be able to answer all of your questions related to your job search.

Apply online! This website has every job you could think of and you can sort them by salary, zip code etc. just simply type in the job you want and you instantly have access to over 1000 results!

Very user friendly user interface, this process of finding jobs is extremely easy using zip recruiter, it is also possible to apply directly from the job online.

Cons: Lack of jobs in certain areas! This is not really a con of the software but there are times where certain jobs are just not in demand or companies choose not to post them on zip recruiter. The # of jobs could be increased but this is still a valuable software.

Overall: Wonderful app for job applications!

Pros: A lot of recruiting programs that I have used in the past offered no or very little mobile offerings. Zip Recruiter changes all that! Being able to use the program on the fly, especially when I travel for my job, is extremely important! Some times I need to post a job listing as quickly as possible in order to fill open positions and cannot always get to my PC or laptop. Luckily, Zip Recruiter is available through my mobile devices.

Cons: Not exactly a con, per-say, but the software includes access to millions of of job seekers and they are still working on organizing the way recruiters search those resumes. It could be a little easier to find candidates, but overall the program does a good job. The other big downfall is that Zip Recruiter does not post to other job seeking programs like Monster. In some cases, seeing someone on Zip is nice, but looking at them through another site could be a good way to verify information. Hopefully, they correct this.

Overall: The biggest advantage and benefit to Zip Recruiter? Finding job candidates on the fly and being able to contact them directly from the app, even away from the office! This is a must have for any business with high turnover and needing to fill spots quickly!

I used ziprecruiter multiple times to search for new or open job positions, it was great.

Pros: How keywords were used in the job title to pull up certain jobs. The other feature I really liked was the added drop down complete job description that listed requirements, pay scale, hours and benefits.

Cons: Some of the advertising for "work at home" schemes seemed pretty sketchy for a legitimate job search engine to be affiliated with.,

Overall: It seems to be a very popular venue for employers to post open positions and very few out dated or filled positions were online. I applied to many open positions through the listings I found on this website.

Pros: When I started to look for a new job last year I realized that not as many companies post jobs on Craigslist like they used too. I liked to use Craigslist because all you had to do was send a nice email and your resume attached to job postings (I am not a fan of spending hours answering questions for one job to apply). I was on Glassdoor after not finding many job postings on Craigslist and Glassdoor redirected me to ZipRecruiter to apply for a job. I created an account and uploaded my resume, after updating my profile all I had to do was click apply for any other jobs I found on ZipRecruiter and it sent the jobs my resume that I had already uploaded on my profile. I loved how quick and easy it was to apply to jobs and now I recommend this website to all of my friends and family.

Cons: The only thing I disliked about ZipRecruiter is when I applied for a job some of the job postings required additional questions that took up a little time after I clicked apply but other than that it's a great website.

Pros: The software is very user friendly. It is easy to not only post openings for my organization but to also manage the applicants who apply. The graphic User Interface (GUI) is user-appealing and I found there to be very little time required to ramp up when I first started using the system.

Cons: When you pause your subscription, you are charged a month to not lose your stored data. When we have a lull in hiring, it doesn't make sense to pay for job slots, so we request a pause. However, it seems counter-intuitive to charge an employee who obviously wants to use your product again going forward when hiring needs change by holding their data ransom.

Pros: This is a good looking site with quite an intuitive user interface. I have been looking for an internship for a couple of months now and I have an account on a bunch other sites as well. But, I always feel comfortable using this site. I have not used this feature but they have this messaging option with the hiring managers, seemed quite helpful. You can upload your resume, save jobs that you like etc. You can configure email alerts so you know what's opportunities are out there.

Cons: One thing that I did not like about this software is that I wanted job offers for Unity Developers but most of the time they send me offers for generic software developers as well. If I wanted those, I would opt in for that.

Overall: I am looking for an internship so almost daily I try to see what opportunities are out there.

Pros: A huge time saver, I am able to post too tons of targeted job sites with only one post. I can mange

and track applicants within the system easily and the applicant database is fairly strong! The company brand is also growing which is driving more candidates to their website.

Cons: Cost is determined by "slots" and can add up quickly. Viewing passive candidate resumes is also costly but you can preview before purchasing contact info which is nice. The zipresumes are often poorly formatted and tough to read.

I never contacted customer support so I can't speak on that.

Overall: Targeted Recruiting. Great if you have a small HR/Recruiting team as it saves a lot of time.

Pros: Ease of use and the ability to hire and then keep the acct on monthly subscription then turn it on again, MONTHS later and start right back up from where I was, as needed

Cons: Nothing software related, they help me put the word out, it's not their fault people do not read the ad and apply reasonably. I wish there was a way to edit folks out like junk mail. People who are obviously applying for their unemployment benefits but do not really want the job. They are hours away, have zero experience and clearly not right.

Overall: Lots of applicants for not a lot of money. Old days I had to pay for each word in a paper. Now with Zip, I can customize my add and get lots of people applying

Pros: It is a great tool that s seen by a lot of folks. It is overall an easy software to use start to finish. It can be a little confusing at first but Zip as a good customer support base.

Cons: It is too expensive for what you are really getting. Every click a charge incurs. It would be more feasible if it was based on resumes submitted. I don't really get being charged for curious lookers. It is not really cost effective in that sense. Every time I have used it I have been charged extra. Zip was very quick to credit my card, but it is still a hassle.

Overall: I did not hire anyone that I received a resume from Zip. I am sure the exposure for the company was good to a point!

Hello Johnny,

We at ZipRecruiter take great pride in our role of bringing job seekers and employers together.

We are sorry to hear that you did not have success using our platform to find gainful employment. We know how stressful finding a new job can be and we wish you the best of luck on your search. Our job alerts are a great tool to use and provide you with relevant jobs that have been posted in your area that you would be a good fit for.

It looks as though you unsubscribed from all correspondence through our site, specifically emails about job alerts and ZipRecruiter email. Employers often use our system to reach out to candidates and if you have opted out of all forms of correspondence, it can make it difficult to utilize our services to connect with hiring managers. We always recommend that you subscribe to our alerts.

We are available 24/7 now and can be reached at (877) 252-1062

We hope you find your dream job!

Pros: I love being able to post an open position and it go out to so many different candidates. In the staffing field we are constantly adding new positions and looking for more and more candidates - this is the best way to reach the largest pool of candidates to make sure we find the right match for our clients.

Cons: It can be a bit expensive to use but in all reality you get what you pay for and Ziprecruiter provides us with with the best candidates so we would rather pay more for higher quality

Overall: We use it whenever we have a new job to recruit for so that we can review resumes and start setting up potential candidates to interview with our clients.

I rarely use this job searching tool as I feel it is not as competitive as other job boards.

Pros: I like that occasionally I find listings on ZipRecruiter that I don't find on other job boards, and I also like that you can narrow in your search based on specific criteria

Cons: I don't like that this software is so expensive to post jobs on. It really limits the amount of jobs available because smaller companies can't afford to post to it. Additionally, it is flooded with temp jobs and staffing agencies that are not applicable to our population.

Overall: I don't benefit from this software often as it does not have the variety of positions/jobs available as Indeed.com or other job boards.

Pros: My favorite part of ZR is the ease for applicants to apply for jobs via smart phone. This is modern and super productive for both parties. As a hobby graphic design I also enjoy the simple design of the site. Layout is simple and the colors are a great fit. The most beneficial part of ZR the work they already do for you. With the "great match" feature my team was able to prioritize screens based on the qualified profiles.

Cons: We had some issues with our representative. She was super sweet yet we were promised 7 days more than we were actually given; each profile was supposed be granted 25/day limit yet it changed to 25/month in which I had to share with my teammates. This was super frustrating. Although ZR holds some great feature we did find we were getting large pool of candidates yet most of them were not nearly a fit. I also don't see a 25/day limit being beneficial for agencies with many positions to fill.

Pros: Zip Recruiter is one of those job search engines that combine many features from a variety of other pre-existing websites in a clever way, it combines the most solid and user-friendly interface I have seen with a good customer service . I have used ZipRecruiter to advertise job listings for my Law Firm in order to increase incoming candidates in effort to help fill critical positions, it gets the job done in an enjoyable way thanks to its great exposure and how easy it is to go through all the applicants data.

Cons: Zip Recruiter can be pricey, and some of the features have a few bugs, specially when browsing through CV data you get a few misrepresented information within its format.

Pros: Love this site. As a freelancer also looking for a part/full-time position, I enjoy the straightforward, no-nonsense look and workings of ZipRecruiter. I can search for jobs by keyword/title, define my geographic area I'm willing to work, receive messages and notifications regarding my applications and their respective employers. In addition to these suggested jobs, the "posted" so so "hours ago" is a great tool to help me get my application in first. Overall, great site.

Cons: In terms of functionality and use of this app, I have no complaints. Nitpicking, the color and design may be a bit dull, leading to a daunting search if you look through the pages long enough. Again, this is a nitpick.

Pros: Has a ton of features for the mobile user. This includes viewing resumes and browsing job.

Cons: I am not a fan of the overall GUI on this app. It appears too convoluted and jammed pack on such tiny screens. Also, compared to indeed's app, it is not as simple and straightforward.

Overall: Overall, the app is free so, you can't beat it. However, even at the free price, there are still superior apps to try. Nonetheless, the site works seamlessly.

Pros: I like the fact that I can narrow down my search for a specific job position and location by entering a job title and zip code and get a list of available jobs in my area, this has made my life so much easier than going to each website, then scroll down for "job opportunities" and fill in a million questions they have. My favorite part is the part where you can apply for a job right from the list they have provided. ZipRecruiter has helped me gain additional exposure and has totally opened many opportunities and doors for me. I would recommend it to anyone who's looking for a job, or hiring.

Cons: The automotive responses from Zip Recruiter's recruitment team seem not realistic.

Cons: How much it cost compared to LinkedIn or GlassDoor. It costs us over 3 times as much to hire our Sales Rep with ZipRecruiter than our Customer Service Rep (which we ended up having to do twice) with LinkedIn.

Overall: Probably will not use again, either for hiring or getting hired.

Pros: Placing a listing is simple and easy and begin receiving significant response within a day. I tend to get more "hidden gem" candidates than through other job posting sites. I like the ability to categorize my level of interest in the candidate so I can go back and choose the ones that will make it through the screening process.

Cons: The resume notification isn't as user friendly as some other job posting sites. There is a function to click an icon if I want fewer "candidates like this one." I don't like using that because there could be 10 different reasons this applicant didn't process through to the next hiring stage, this icon doesn't allow for me to indicate if the person didn't meet location, education, job experience...

End results (applicant flow) are very good.

Comments: Technical support is lacking. Communication is less than excellent.

Pros: Very intuitive site. Easy to maneuver. Can function as a, scaled-back, ATS if the customer does not have one. Has the ability to review/rate candidates for each job as an easy/quick reference.

Cons: Does not integrate with our Applicant Tracking System. Fairly high-priced for the Pro plan (value is suspect at this engagement level).

Pros: You can easily find a job anywhere in the world. Searching for a destination and your area of work. Easy to apply for the desired position and desire destination. Every day you get emails with a wide range of jobs in your field. You can check the salary.

Cons: I do not have any big comments on this site. So far, I have had good experiences. It always switches you to the site of the employer where you need to fill in forms for application that takes up a lot of time instead of just uploading your CV.

Overall: Quickly find jobs all over the world.

Pros: I did not like ZipRecruiter. I applied after hearing their radio commercials that advertised themselves as a way to get quick employment.

Cons: ZipRecruiter sends annoying, never-ending emails even when you report that you found a job. ZipRecruiter also failed to alert 3 different organizations that I was not interested in their position, yet to this day I still receive emails from them asking if I want that position. I've had to call their offices directly to stop sending me the emails.

Overall: I wanted employment in the Summer of 2018 so I used ZipRecruiter after hearing their ads on the radio. ZipRecruiter did not find me adequate employment in the fields that I was interested in, and the positions that they did offer me either did not pay or were not interested in short-term employees, the very reason I looked up ZipRecruiter in the first place. I tell people not to use ZipRecruiter because they are impersonal and they are ineffective, especially in service industries.

Pros: The program works exactly the way you want it to. It gets the job done. Lots of exposure. For us, we use it to do our hiring. You will receive tons of applicants which is great because it's usually quick and easy to find a qualified candidate. You can narrow your search and be as specific as possible. We always get tons of promos too to use towards our account, which is nice. I would recommend.

Cons: Just like I said with Indeed, you can get overwhelmed with applications sometimes if you don't tone it way down. But it seems if you get too specific it can be hard to find a good amount of applicants to choose from. Whereas if you leave it a little broader you will get overwhelmed with some qualified and some not qualified at all. It is what it is. Finding a diamond in the rough sometimes I guess.

Overall: It does exactly what you need it to do. You can find tons of applicants fairly quickly so there's always options out there for employers.

Pros: ZipRecruiter is one of those cases were you really love the application. For being a Web Application, I can say that the interface looks similar to a graphic design website, beautifully done, minimalistic in a pragmatic sense and incredibly easy to use. It fullfills all the basics of finding a job, and all I can hope is too see it grow. As someone who worked at a job search engine company (Stating which one would be unprofessional), I can say that ZipRecruiter is better done than many, and I hope to see it grow to become a standard option in the job hunt field.

Cons: The only downside I can really say about ZipRecruiter is that it does not get the recognition it deserves, the market is currently taken over different job search engines that are not as good if you compare it to how well designed ZipRecruiter is. As I stated before, I hope to see it grow.

Overall: As a Human Resources/Recruiter, it helps me find people I need for my company. It is easy to use and have a much better interface compared to many other job search engines in the market.

Pros: What I most enjoyed about this software is that I was informed when an employer looked at my application and how many times and was given a percentage of how many resumes are usually viewed at twice or three times when it happened.

Cons: What I least liked about this software was that I was not getting custom jobs nor jobs that were in the distance I requested.

Overall: At first I thought ZipRecruiter was a nice software with the easy way I could apply for jobs with just the click of a button, but over time I really was not happy with the outcome. I really liked when ZipRecruiter would email me and let me know an employer looked at my resume once, twice and even three times! But, I was certainly unhappy when jobs that didn't relate to my preference and jobs that were long distances from me were emailed to me daily. I don't mind spam in my email inbox for jobs, but when every job they were suggesting was an hour or further away from me, it became clear that this is not the job search engine I wanted.

Pros: This is a good product for a corporation that has dozens of different types of jobs that need filling.

It is easy to use and low-priced.

Cons: It does not pre-qualify candidates so you can get 100+ inappropriate resumes for a position, which slows you down.

It does not work with 2 major job sites, Indeed.com & Dice. Plus, it doesn't work with small niche market job posting sites that I use.

Overall: ZipRecruiter is a terrific product for large corporations, in that it allows you to post a job to multiple sites with the click of a button at a very low cost. But unfortunately, it's not great for my particular niche market - so I eventually canceled my subscription.

I initially signed up for the product as it would enable me to post jobs on Indeed.com at no extra cost. When Indeed.com severed the relationship (to increase direct revenue to their site, the product was no longer a good fit for me. Plus, only 1 out of a 100+ resumes were a fit for the jobs that I was posting - so I found myself taking too much time reviewing inappropriate resumes.

Recommendations to other buyers: Not at this time.
