It has updated and adjusted over the years and proves to be as useful now as it ever was in the past! Pros Evite remains the gold standard in online invitations! It is such a trusted brand and I have loved the evolution of this product! With its ability to manage events and event registration, it has become a staple in my arsenal of event tools! Cons NO cons! Everybody that gets the online invitation from me is able to open it and respond quickly and easily. I haven’t had anyone complain about it, and evite just has really nice templates. Pros I loved that it was free and had lots of invitations to choose from whether it be for birthday parties, holidays, parent teacher, conferences, and school dances. Cons Most of the better invitations are premium and you do have to pay for those, but there are still plenty of free ones, but the nicest are going cost you. Pros I was happy with the ecard options but that's really it. I found the site glitchy and the fact that they don't have any direct customer service is insane. Cons I paid for premium thinking that it would be worth paying something to get more card choices and get a higher level of service. Boy was I wrong. The site was glitchy and I struggled to make my payment as a consequence and now I'm stuck in an impossible loop where the Evite website won't let me pay for more "sends" but I still have more people I need to invite. And now I've invited most of my friends to my big birthday bash and I can't invite the rest. And the worst part is that I can't get any help from Evite. They don't have a phone number, no one answers when I try to do a chat and only occasionally, if I email multiple times, do I get a reply from customer support. It's a nightmare. I use it for birthday parties, children's events, and zoom meetings, and organizational events. Pros I love that I can send a very cute, customizable, professional looking invite to people. I love that it can be for personal use or business use. Cons Sometimes the ads can get overwhelming. Or the hyperlinks can sometimes not go through for easy clicks. But its a minor thing. The ability to customize and track RSVPs and comments is also very helpful. Pros Evite is a wonderful event management tool that is easy to use, has a lot of design options, event types, and is an effective communication tool. I like the easy to fill in and customizable details that make each Evite feel authentic! Cons In the free version, there are a few ads that do get in of the way of aesthetic. Though they do not change the details or use of the Evite, they are not removable. It's a cheap and effective way to communicate events to clients, friends, and family! I have no reason to switch to something else. Pros This is the app I always use when I host events. It is so easy to use and get invites out to folks who are attending the events we have. The RSVP system is top notch. Cons Tough to design inside the platform. It could do better in report generation and in making the setting a bit easier to navigate. Pros Evite is a good option for sending and collecting event RSVPs. It is pretty easy to use on the creation and sending end. The address book feature is helpful in creating groups as well. Cons Evite really lacks in generating reports and doing anything beyond collecting RSVPs. The reports are not very user-friendly or easy to navigate, and there is not an option for checking people in using the system for larger events management. SO easy to use " July 14, 2025 5.0 Overall, Evite is a great app/website. I think everything is extremely easy to navigate, easy to add guests on the app, and message them! I dislike that you have to pay to use certain features on the website but they are free on the app, so that's nice! Super convenient and way cheaper than purchasing invites/sending them. We have used it for work and personal! Pros I love the convenience most of Evite. You have all your events in one place, it's easy to use the website and the app. You can chat/message with people for your events and RSVP very easily. Cons I have yet to come across anything I dislike about Evite. Maybe that to use the website you have to pay to send invites to people, but on the app you don't. Super weird! It also helps me keep track of my events, especially if I have more than one going on at a time. The use and ease of not having to mail anything out snail mail really saves me time and money. Pros I love that I can upload and import my contacts so that I do not have to manually enter all the data myself. This saves me so much time when needing to prepare by guest list. Cons Not EVERY single theme is available and that is really not the fault of Evite. You can utilize the many design templates to attain the look you want and you can interact with guests through polls. Cons Some of the polls are not customizable for them to fill in their own values. Sharing photos through Evite and the notifications for it is a great feature but is not integratabtle with other photo sharing or storage services. Pros Great features like text invites and polls. It's incredibly easy to use - you can put together a great invite in 10 minutes with their easy to navigate features. Tracking and notifications to guests make evite a one stop shop for tracking events. Cons The card designs could be much better. The free cards are all a little goofy and it's tough to find one that's sophisticated. The premium cards are a little better but nothing is stand out spectacular about them. Our invited guests can communicate to each other and us the organizer to ask question and create conversation around the event. I love that afterwards your guest can leave photos they took of your event and share it with you and the other guests. Cons There aren't any cons that I can find except for the email communication. You have to view everything in your browser and not in your email. Pros Evite is really easy to use for any age. I always worry about sending to grandparents and older family members but evite is simple to understand and obvious on what to do when you receive an invite. I love that people can upload pictures of your event for all to see. Cons No complaints about this product at all. Every time I wish something was different they do an update. It's legitimately synonymous with electronic invitations. Cons Given its name recognition I think people default to it. This runs the risk of falling out of public consciousness. It seems to make response rates (positive or negative) go up as guests have the option of responding with a couple clicks when they first read the invite. It save time for the host/hostess as they don't have to call when they haven't had a response from someone. Evite actually sends reminder e-mails if you haven't responded! Pros Evite allows you to see in real-time when guests RSVP to an invitation. It makes it easier than taking phone calls from each invitee! Plus, from a guest standpoint, it's so much easier to respond instantly online than to try to find time to call! It also makes it fun to be able to see what other guests will be attending the event ! So why don't we do online invitations? Evite has tons of free invitations to choose from for almost every event you could imagine! Cons I wish the how-to's of sending these online invites and collecting RSVPs was a little more front and center on the homepage and on the site. It's great that we can design an online invitation, but having a quick, succinct how-to on the home page or even an easy link could help first-time users. Pros It keeps all of my attendee/invites super organized so I know who's received the invitation and who's actually coming! It also integrates Google contacts, which is very helpful.
