March 13, 2026 5.0 I have been a loyal user of Evite and remain incredibly pleased with my overall experience with this program. It has updated and adjusted over the years and proves to be as useful now as it ever was in the past! Pros Evite remains the gold standard in online invitations! It is such a trusted brand and I have loved the evolution of this product! With its ability to manage events and event registration, it has become a staple in my arsenal of event tools! Cons NO cons! Everybody that gets the online invitation from me is able to open it and respond quickly and easily. I haven’t had anyone complain about it, and evite just has really nice templates. Pros I loved that it was free and had lots of invitations to choose from whether it be for birthday parties, holidays, parent teacher, conferences, and school dances. Cons Most of the better invitations are premium and you do have to pay for those, but there are still plenty of free ones, but the nicest are going cost you. Owner Construction Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Horrible Experience" March 6, 2026 1.0 Evite sucks and once I figure this out, I definitely won't ever use them again and I'll tell all my friends not to use them either! Pros I was happy with the ecard options but that's really it. I found the site glitchy and the fact that they don't have any direct customer service is insane. Cons I paid for premium thinking that it would be worth paying something to get more card choices and get a higher level of service. Boy was I wrong. The site was glitchy and I struggled to make my payment as a consequence and now I'm stuck in an impossible loop where the Evite website won't let me pay for more "sends" but I still have more people I need to invite. And now I've invited most of my friends to my big birthday bash and I can't invite the rest. And the worst part is that I can't get any help from Evite. They don't have a phone number, no one answers when I try to do a chat and only occasionally, if I email multiple times, do I get a reply from customer support. It's a nightmare. I use it for birthday parties, children's events, and zoom meetings, and organizational events. Pros I love that I can send a very cute, customizable, professional looking invite to people. I love that it can be for personal use or business use. Cons Sometimes the ads can get overwhelming. Or the hyperlinks can sometimes not go through for easy clicks. But its a minor thing. The ability to customize and track RSVPs and comments is also very helpful. Pros Evite is a wonderful event management tool that is easy to use, has a lot of design options, event types, and is an effective communication tool. I like the easy to fill in and customizable details that make each Evite feel authentic! Cons In the free version, there are a few ads that do get in of the way of aesthetic. Though they do not change the details or use of the Evite, they are not removable. It's a cheap and effective way to communicate events to clients, friends, and family! I have no reason to switch to something else. Pros This is the app I always use when I host events. It is so easy to use and get invites out to folks who are attending the events we have. The RSVP system is top notch. Cons Tough to design inside the platform. It could do better in report generation and in making the setting a bit easier to navigate. Pros Evite is a good option for sending and collecting event RSVPs. It is pretty easy to use on the creation and sending end. The address book feature is helpful in creating groups as well. Cons Evite really lacks in generating reports and doing anything beyond collecting RSVPs. The reports are not very user-friendly or easy to navigate, and there is not an option for checking people in using the system for larger events management. We have used it for work and personal! Pros I love the convenience most of Evite. You have all your events in one place, it's easy to use the website and the app. You can chat/message with people for your events and RSVP very easily. Cons I have yet to come across anything I dislike about Evite. Maybe that to use the website you have to pay to send invites to people, but on the app you don't. Super weird! February 6, 2023 5.0 My overall experience with evite has been a good one. The software does exactly what it was supposed to do. However, more software options became available with additional features and benefits for the same or less amount of money. Had i not been shopping for a new marketing tool i would have stayed with Evite. Pros What I like most about this software is that it was simple to use for what I needed it to do. Evite options we're limited as more competition became available. That said, evite still offered the best product available for the simple task of planning, creating, and conducting a planned event. Cons What I like least about this software is that they did not improve overtime. Competition offering more/better features and benefits to their product became available. The ability to communicate to my customers either through an e-mail text message or one note is critical to my business.Evite still offers a good product that is simple to use, but limited when it comes to additional features and benefits like adding branding. Pros If you're a professional or a business, or just an individual planning an event that you want to send out to your guests via email to promote as well as receive RSVPs and keep track of the headcount, this is a good platform to use as an alternative to Facebook or the old fashioned methods of printing out paper invitations or having to purchase them already made from a store. Cons Some people may be annoyed by the emails this sends out to them if they haven't responded yet, though this is a good way of keeping potential guests accountable and reminding them. Pros Evite lets you create your own custom invitations for events. I like the fact that there are some well designed templates to choose from. You can keep track of your guests rsvps . It also keeps track of your rsvps to events that others are hosting. And you can use it to add to your online calendar to keep organized. Lots of really great features. Evite fits right in with how everyone communicates and allows me to send customizable invitations to people's emails. This helps them respond quickly, they can search for it later when they need the info, and I can see who has viewed it an NOT replied yet as a way to follow up. Cons I wish some of the text placement would be able to be moved around as I desire, or if I wanted to add/take away a picture, I wish I could do that regardless of the template design I had selected. It's a great program and it's free if you choose free invites. I love it. Pros The pro's of evite: they have free invitations you can send, the ones that aren't free are not expensive. They have invitations for everything. They send you reminders and have easy communications with the people that say they'll attend or haven't responded. Evite offers an eco friendly way to send invitations. Cons There is nothing that I do not like about evite. It's a great option for events instead of using paper. The software allows me to connect with friends and is easy to use. Pros I have received many invitations using this software, and like that it is straightforward to use. I can easily see who sent it to me and what the event details are. Cons Can't really think of any negative features--it is easy to create invitations and send them, and also easy to see event details for invitations. May 31, 2019 5.0 Evite saves a lot of time and makes my invitation appears professional without much hassle. Pros I like the idea of sending invitation creatively. I host some of my stitching workshops monthly basic and I just send all the invitation using email. Now with evite it is easy and headless. All my teammates get the reminder of the invitation that I have sent them. It is one less work for me. To create an invitation set the date and upload my design, and done. I import all my contacts from google and send them an invitation. They will get a reminder automatically. I have more time to get the other important work done. This is so helpful. So why don't we do online invitations? Evite has tons of free invitations to choose from for almost every event you could imagine! Cons I wish the how-to's of sending these online invites and collecting RSVPs was a little more front and center on the homepage and on the site. It's great that we can design an online invitation, but having a quick, succinct how-to on the home page or even an easy link could help first-time users.
